Question: Wedding Hashtag help/ideas? Posted: 03 Aug 2015 05:55 PM PDT Ok, so I am trying to come up with a unique and funny hashtag for my future wedding. I will be taking the name Garcia and I have absolutely no idea what to do with that name that would give me a funny/memorable hashtag. our friends refer to us as "Beauty and the Beast" so I don't know if I could somehow play up on that either... Any ideas?!
Question: I need ideas for a wedding reception? Posted: 03 Aug 2015 03:14 PM PDT My boyfriend & I are planning to get married. (Not officially engaged yet, he wants to propose to me properly first.) Anyways, I originally said I wanted a small wedding. (Just immediate family & important friends.) His extended family is really close though & he told me this mother wants to talk to me about it. After rethinking it, I realized I only wanted it so small because my extended family isn't close & I didn't want to feel bad or awkward because only a few people are there for me, while there's a lot of people I don't know or have only met once or twice. I don't want to be selfish though. I want him to have anyone he wants there. However I think a traditional style of reception might make myself & family feel a little out of place, which I don't want. So I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas of an alternative idea to make my part of the family & myself feel more comfortable & have more fun?

Question: Could love and companionship have been enough? Just ended my engagement? Posted: 03 Aug 2015 02:19 PM PDT I was with my fiance for 4.5 years and while I've always loved him and cared for him, I never felt in love with him in a romantic way. Our sex life was terrible for me because there was no sexual connection for me. I wasn't as attracted to him as he was to me. So I constantly felt unfulfilled, what with not being IN love with him, never experiencing the ups and downs of real love. I did what I thought was fair and ended things with him last week but I miss him terribly now. I'm starting to convince myself that sharing my life with my best friend, someone who I love and who loves me in return, could've been enough. He was such a great person.. so family-oriented, so faithful, loving, loyal... I feel like companionship alone should be enough but I never felt that way when I was with him, just now that I've lost him. I don't know what to do.
Question: Need help writing letter to bride? Posted: 03 Aug 2015 01:47 PM PDT I am the maid of honor in my best friends wedding. The night before her wedding we are going to give her the letter to read. I am really bad at writing stuff like this and i would really appreciate some inspiration! Thanks!!
Question: Should I ask my fiance not to invite his friend to our wedding? Posted: 03 Aug 2015 12:25 PM PDT While we were in our early days dating my then boyfriend had a friend who he had classes with and worked with who would chat with him ALL the time which made me so jealous, because I felt like he spoke with her more than me. This feeling of insecurity and jealousy heightened while I was away in another country for a year and he was hanging with her ALL the time, even invited her to his parents' house. He never cheated on me and I have nothing to worry about. We've been together almost 5 years now. I still don't like his friend though. Even though I get along with her when I see her in person, it annoys me that she talks to him so much. She's a cheating-type and doesn't have any female friends (there's a reason why). I'd rather not invite her to our wedding. But is that uncool of me to request that to my fiance? She's not the worst person ever but I'd just rather not see her on my special day.

Question: Do I give an additional gift? Posted: 03 Aug 2015 11:11 AM PDT Attending a friend's wedding later this month. They are on a MEGA budget, so I offered to donate a couple cases of champagne and wine since I can get them at a decent price and they aren't able to provide any. My question is, do I also give a gift? Not trying to be stingy, I was planning on a nice card, but wasn't sure if I should also include an additional gift. Thanks! Thank you all so much for your help so far! I will be sticking with the wine/champagne and a card for a gift.
Posted: 03 Aug 2015 10:12 AM PDT So i finally was able to save up for an Engagement ring for my gf. So i've been contemplating ideas on how to propose to her. It is a hard task to do as in all my ideas are so cliche. I want something that is original and contains creativity and thinking outside the box. The only one i've come up with so far is to propose at her school graduation. However, i am not able to do that because i am shy. Idk that just doesn't seem like an option for me to do it in front of so many people and strangers and they're just staring at me. And what if she says no. So i would like it to be just me and her. but something creative no cliches. I want her to remember this moment forever. I want to make it really special for her. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
Question: Is 2,000 expensive for an engagement ring? Posted: 03 Aug 2015 09:44 AM PDT It is 1 carat diamond with 14k white gold... That's almost 2 weeks pay check for me
Question: Would it be an apporpriate wedding gift? Posted: 03 Aug 2015 09:42 AM PDT Ok I'm going to a wedding in late august. My question is I'm at a lost of what to buy for the couple as a wedding gift. They requested cash as a gift. So they can go on a honeymoon. But due to the fact that the groom has done questionable actions before. ( drug use etc.) Also I'm not sure what amount would be appropriate since I'm more friends with maid of honor ( the bride's sister) than with the couple themselves. Also I'm on a limited budget due to being in school full time. I was thinking like maybe a gift card to a local restaurant might be a nice gift. What do you guys think?
Question: What to get for my brother's wedding? Posted: 03 Aug 2015 09:34 AM PDT My brother is getting married and I need some ideas on what to get him and his wife. Would a gift card be okay? I'm 25 and in school full-time so don't have much money.
Posted: 03 Aug 2015 07:55 AM PDT My cousin is getting married to another woman. That's fine for her. She's very angry with me that I won't be an attendant in her wedding, nor will I attend her wedding. I am a Christian, and I don't believe that women should be marrying women. She's that I'm being a bigot, and a homophobic. I am not a bigot nor am homophobic. I refuse to compromise my beliefs and principles for her. This is how I feel, and I'm not going to change them for anyone. I love my cousin very much, but I feel that she should understand my position, and respect my decision.
Question: Should I try to find a way to tell my maid of honor she's been demoted? Posted: 03 Aug 2015 06:41 AM PDT I'll be getting married in October and my maid of honor is my best friend. However lately she's been really testy with me. She hasn't been doing anything to really help me with the wedding and all my other bridesmaids are picking up where she is more or less dropping the ball. at this point she's going to be the one standing up there next to me and doing nothing else. another of my bridesmaids has voiced her concerns that the MoH is going to do or say something the day of the wedding to make the day miserable and I have to say its concerning me. I just don't know what to do though. I'm not asking her to plan the wedding. I've been inviting her to help me go shopping for things, shoes, accessories things for the bridal shower and rehearsal dinner. Pretty much just asking her to spend time with me. instead she bails on me. When we do hang out she pouts and moans about how silly or weird what we're doing is. and when we hang out with friends to play games she lashes out at me and makes it her personal mission to see me loose, even if i'm not the one winning.
| Question: Getting married twice? Posted: 03 Aug 2015 03:42 AM PDT Hi everyone Question for you If I get married in the U.S. At city hall can I still get married in ireland in a church?
