When I was in 7th grade (middle school) I met this guy that was in 6th grade. He became friends after a couple of months of knowing each other. My friend wrote him a letter and I gave it to him for her, and he got pretty pissed at me for doing that. Ever since then, he hasn't talked to me. I am now a senior and he's a junior. We still ride the same bus and we even have a class together and we steadily ignore each other. I went out with some friends to the bars and I could see her in the crowd. I know she saw me because we kinda made eye contact but never said hey. I then just carried on with my night. Later in the night I see her dancing and talking to this guy. Which really pissed me off. I don't understand why I was so frustrated when I didn't care anymore. I then felt the need to go talk to her. We ended up talking about the brake up. We eventually got to a neutral spot in the conversation and pretty much acted as if nothing had happen. Many times in the conversation she said she didn't want to get back together which again upset. But there was nothing I could do so I just walked away. I do love him & care for him, but not head over heels. We argue a lot, & he is really tough on me when I get depressed, i.e. "snap out of it; be a man, etc" I have a lot of other chronic health problems too which he hates hearing about. I just don't really feel loved by him even though when we got really close to breaking up once, he acted like I'm his world. We have a dog together which he loves to death & I think he cares more about not seeing her if we were to break up really. I would feel so bad if we did cuz she adores him. But I just can't deal with only seeing him 1-2 days/week, arguing & being yelled at so much, sex is just sex it's not like making love, & again I just don't feel IN LOVE. My boyfriend came to visit me once and it took about a month or two to convince them to allow it. When he was here my stepdad complained about little things like him leaving his deodorant out. It makes more sense for me to go there because it s cheaper, he has a car so we can go places, and he has a job that he needs to attend. My mom and stepdad both just seem against the relationship, but I don t understand why. They act as if we just started dating. I partially understand this though because they don t actually know him. They know I m sexually active so I don t really think that s a big issue. His family is really nice, but again they don t know them. I d be staying with him at his grandmas. | Question: Guy/Relationship Advice? Posted: 21 Aug 2015 06:38 PM PDT Hi yahoo friends, So recently, my guy friend and I have been talking with each other and we went out on a date a few weeks ago. Now, I have never had a boyfriend before and I am a shy girl so I haven t actually told him that I like him. But at this point, since we ve been getting closer, I assume he has a hunch, considering he asked me out. However, sometimes I can be so unsure of myself and how he feels, that I am worried about losing his interest. I got the guts to ask him to have a little outing about a 2 weeks after our date lol and we made plans but then didn t work out last minute. SO its been another week now and we haven t really talked. What I notice is, we always have these big gaps of silence. I feel like we are both timid to reach out to each (buts its mostly me). On our date (3 weeks ago) we had a really really great time with great conversation. We agreed to do it again, but now its like theres a big gap again. Any advice on how to be more confident and assertive with him? How do I get more conformable with reaching out more? Do guys like it when girls text them or make plans first? Thank you!!!!! When we started texting she went from normal and chill to clingly and dramatic and just weird. We started flirting and exchanging photos and she just got so clingy with always wanting to text me and acting super sad amd insecure if i didn't respond right away. The creepiest thing is i think she might be someone i stopped talking to before for this same reason. A few months ago i was talking to this other girl who claimed to be a lesbian but she became way too clingy and demanding so i stopped talking to her. Plus whenever I would ask about meeting in person she would be like "oh so you're tired of texting me? :(" and make me feel bad about it. The way this new girl talks and words things it's like she's the same person but posing as someone else just to talk to me. I've had this happen to me before. Not with girls on tinder but with friends online. I had to block someone on instagram because they were harassing me and demanding nudes even though i never agreed to that and a little while later this other person started messaging me. It became obvious that the new friend was the same person i blocked before. They were really bad at making themself seem like a different person lol. |
