Modern life is a Facebook status, a text, maybe a quick drink after work, after resceduling three times. It s realizing that this is as good as it s ever going to get. Sex is okay, but not the mind-blowing experience people make it out to be. Your job doesn t love you back. Your house comes with a mortgage and endless repairs, and anyone you trust will screw you eventually. Kids retreat from Mom into their own worlds. It s not their fault. They re only human. Nothing will ever taste as good as your first ice cream cone. You ll never laugh any harder than you did back then. Love is a grand illusion. Life is exhausting. That is all. Good night. |

| Question: Is this Sexual Harassment or Assault? Posted: 28 Aug 2015 05:12 PM PDT When I was at school I got bullied and it got really bad. It turned physical, They would kick me or punch me etc. I used to just take it really. But then.. They started slapping my bum in class or if they'd see me, Sometimes randomly push me up against a wall and grab my boobs and squeeze them, I'd try and push them but they're too strong. Or when I was sitting down they would quickly slide there hands up my skirt and try and touch me. But I used to tell them to stop, But they wouldn't until someone saw them then they quickly moved. It was by Guys btw. Basically, Yes I did tell a teacher and what did the teacher tell me? I was crying my eyes out to a teacher and I felt so depressed and low because of it And a teacher says to me "Stop snitching" After that I thought why bother if the teacher won't help me? I thought maybe every teacher is like that. Anyways I thought maybe its not because they didn't think it was, And they just thought it was a joke. But I'm not really sure. I have thought about this for years, And not really asked anyone, As I never told anyone. Because if it was they would laugh at me. I feel to ugly and fat to be sexually harassed or assaulted. |
| Posted: 28 Aug 2015 04:53 PM PDT I have a father with serious health problems which may impede his ability to work. Because of this my parents are stressed out about bills. It is so serious that he may have to go on disability limiting his earnings every month. I can't help them right now because I have my own bills to take care of. I love my parents and want to help them. I also want to help my family so my parents ,won't have to be so worried about bills or us kids. I am wondering if a Go Fund me account is a good idea has anyone done this and had good results also how does it work, and for a situation where a daughter doesn't know how her parents will handle this well intended helping hand have any advice. |
| Question: What do I do with my life now? Posted: 28 Aug 2015 03:39 PM PDT I don't work anymore due to a disability. So, to give my life some sense of meaning, I went back to college. I already got my Bachelors degree years ago, so I went back to college to get my Masters Degree. I passed the first few classes, but I can no longer continue due to my medical problems (brain injury). I cannot remember/concentrate enough to take and pass additional classes. That means, I finished half my degree for nothing. I feel like my like has no purpose now. I can't work, and now I can't even finish college. My family was helping pay for for my college, so I feel like I let them down. I used to be so smart too, until my head injury. Now I feel stupid and useless. |
