Question: Difference in religion from family and getting married? Posted: 31 Aug 2015 08:19 PM PDT So the boyfriend and I planning on getting married and we're both very happy with that. Family members on both sides are at worst accepting and at best enthusiastic of our relationship. The issue is my boyfriend and I are both pagan, while our families are very Christian. The boyfriend and I would like to have our wedding incorporate pagan traditions but our families (especially his, he's from an old southern family) expect us to have a Christian one. Ideas on how to make this work without just telling family members to just piss off? We would rather not make more waves than we have to. |

Question: How can I get out of this wedding reception? Posted: 31 Aug 2015 03:02 PM PDT My aunt has a wedding coming up in a few months and I really don't want to go to the reception. I have nothing against her or her fiance's family, it's just that I do not like receptions and not to mention both sides of the family (her's and her fiance's are drinkers and like to party). My mother will not listen to me (I am 20, not 7) even though I have said many of times I am just going to leave after the wedding, since the wedding is more important. What I'd like to do is to message my aunt and say I will be at the wedding, but not at the reception. I would like to have an excuse though for not being there. I just don't want to say "I hate receptions, they make me uncomfortable, and I don't want to be around all you drunk people." Advice?? |

Question: Wedding Processional Order HELP? Posted: 31 Aug 2015 12:50 AM PDT The people I want walking down the aisle are Groom, Groom's Mom + Dad, Bride's Mom, Best Man, Maid of Honor, Flower Girl, Ring bearer, Bride + Bride's Father. I don't want anyone walking alone and The Bride's Mother and Groom's Father walking together has already been turned down. I have an uneven number of people. Suggestions appreciated. |
Question: Proposal After 2 Weeks? Posted: 30 Aug 2015 09:25 PM PDT I'm in love again! I'm a very good looking successful business owner and I've been with some of the hottest women in my community. I probably had over 100 women in my life. I recently fell heads over heels for this one woman. She seems to be my perfect match. First time I saw her I said to myself, this is going to be your wife. Sex is amazing. She is funny and down to earth. Would it be crazy for me to propose to her. I told her I love her already and she told me she loves me. I'm worried that I am just looking to get married and start a family because my clock is ticking. I will be 40 in three years |
Question: Would you marry someone who is damaged goods? Posted: 30 Aug 2015 09:08 PM PDT Speaking from experience, it would seem that females are more damaged than men from their previous relationships or they were just born that way. They do tend to break their baggage on to the next relationship. Could you ever possibly marry someone who's damaged goods? |
