Like will iPhones and all technology go away? I think it's ruining people's lives. All people care about today is phones. It's sad. I don't think humans were designed to use phones all day.. I think it's better to live life naturally. With no smartphones, kids now are so ungrateful. All they want is the new iPhone 6.. I am also tired of social media, like snap chat, Instagram, Facebook. They sicken me! People are on there all day! Will the old better world come back? Yes, I know I wasn't even alive in the "old world" but it seemed so much better! I hate technology so much.. I'm just using my sisters laptop to write this.. I don't like it. |

I'm not even lying; my mom grounded me for calling her the b word, when my sister called me fat and ugly and other nasty stuff first. My sister slapped me, so I bit her, my dad yells at me and tells me to go to my room. Today now, my sister pushes me in the hallway and tells me to move, so I push her back and tell her to move. My sister starts yelling, my dad hears her, and tells me to leave her alone. I try to tell him that she started it (like always) he doesn't listen, yells at me and tells me to go to my room. I burst into tears and tell my dad to stop treating my sister as if she was queen of the whole house. He yells at me and says that's not true, I tell him that it is and I tell him that he treats me like he hates me. My dad then gets mad at me, and says that he doesn't hate me, and I tell him that's how I've always felt, that he's hated me and loved my sister more. He then tells me to just calm down and go to my room. I'm up here crying now. I know I said that out of anger, but sometimes my sister gets away with a lot of stuff and I've felt like my dad didn't love me. You should've seen how upset he was when I said that I thought he hated me, I love my dad and mom. My sister too, it's just that we get into these stupid fights. I am 31, my husband is also 31, and we both have medical degrees and are doctors. We have two children, one, my autistic daughter, is 9, and the other, my son, who is 3 and does not have any conditions. Both me and my husband don't know what to do with our daughter, she is one of the most severe autistics that I have ever seen or that every doctor that we have been to has seen. She is completely non-verbal, can't do anything. She doesn't even move her eyes. She just sits there and hits herself. I can't stand this, she has put such a burden on our family. We have lost all love and feeling for her, she has never looked at us, smiled at us, anything. She is in a restraint chair most of the time. It's like she's not even a person. What do I do? Posted: 29 Aug 2015 12:19 PM PDT I eat fast food at least twice a week (dont have to say anything about this being unhealthy) but half the time i go there, there os a parent with her kid around 3 years old, and they just randomly scream and holler the whole time. Its just irritating, especially the high pitched screams because they hurt the ears.... but the mom just sits there without telling her child to stop. Im actually at mcdonalds right now, and a mom is here with here kid and ot os just randoy letting out random, purposeless screams constantly. Now i know, im probably going to be told im horrible for notbeing cool with little kids constantly screaming. |

I really don't like her hoyfriend, He is nice to my mom and does stuff for us, but he can be rude, sexist, trans/homophobic and I just feel really uncomfortable. I feel like my mom only really wants to hang-out with him and I feel like she HAS to hangout with me because im her kid. When I try to tell my mom about who I feel about her boyfriend she calls mw selfish/ungrateful and she pulls "Im such a terrible parent , arnt I?" Card. I really just want to hang-out with my mom and my mom alone, but her boyfriend always has to be involved. Age 12 to 15 I had acne, 16 to my current age I get a few breakouts but more of acne scars which I try to cover up because I'm ashamed of. In middle school girls use to call me a rat and gross and even gave me coupons for Proactiv. I've tried mutable things and at the moment I didn't love, but didn't hate my skin because as I got older it improved. One day my grandma needed me to help her with her garden, so I went to her without any make up on because I didn't think my skin looked that bad. The whole time my grandma was staring at me in a weird way. A few days later my mom told me my grandma thought I should see a dermatologist for my skin and my acne was just appalling. I was so upset because she knew I got bullied and knew I had very low self - esteem. And I thought my skin was getting better. She called me and said she'd pay for it, but I was the only grandkid who had bad skin and she didn't want kids to bully me for it. Is that bad to say? |

Posted: 29 Aug 2015 11:27 AM PDT I'm 15 years old and i live with my big bro, who is my guardian as well (our parents died when i was 5). He is 25, and for as long i remember, he has been punishing me weirdly. Yesterday i thought i was home alone and i was talking to my best friend on the phone and i was swearing. Unfortunately it turned that i wasn't alone, my bro heard me. He wasn't pissed but he made me eat really spicy food (which i hate) and than latter was teasing me about it, and told me that if he hears me swear again I'm gonna be in deep trouble. Another weird and very embarrassing punishment was last month, i was sneaking out and he heard me and after a long lecture i was free to go to sleep. The next morning he brought me a t-shirt that said "i failed sneaking out, now i'm grounded for a week" and on the back " my brother is so cool for giving me such a punishment"😑. I had to wear it for the whole week! And if i am disrespectful toward him, he makes me act as a solder and he acts as a commandant (i have to do the greetings, call him sir and stuff as that I tried talking to him about it but he wont listen, its really annoying. I mean I'm a teen and ofc I'm gonna do stuff that I'm not allowed but why cant he just punish me as a normal person😓? He even tried to get me to do it,and I wouldn't.I asked him what other jobs he has applied for and he said none because he didn't have access to a PC.This frustrated me because my family told him he could use our PC and anything else he needed. It also made me mad because he pretended like he was looking for a job the entire time. Once he did use the PC,he continued to make excuses and say that it was hard for him to get a job because he didn't have much work experience. Was he being lazy or am being too judgmental? It's cheaper than living on campus and I can't afford it. Anyways, my mother and I are always cleaning up behind them. We got tired of it and told them to wash their own clothes,dishes,etc. and still nobody does it. Yesterday afternoon, I washed the dishes and went to work. When I came back home that night, there was a pile of dishes in the sink. I left them there hoping somebody else would wash them, but I woke up this morning to the same dishes!!! I have an odd feeling that when I come home from work today, the same dishes will still be in the sink. What can I do? I can't move out. Trust me,I would of done it already. |

And whenever I do anything helpful, all I hear is how they don't care what I did because my sister does more work than me... But she doesn't. Half the time I do her job for her when she refuses, but then she pretends like she did all the work and my parents believe her and not me! When my sister does a job, she takes all the short cuts and does the least amount of work possible. When she doesn't do a job, somehow it's my fault! I've tried to do what she does and just not do anything so my parents will see how much I actually do, but then they say that the reason my sister isn't cleaning is because she's following my bad example! I was concerned that people wanted to use my Staffordshire Bull Terrier (female,chipped, neutered and well behaved) for dog-fighting so we phoned the police and they said that they would keep an extra eye out and have more officers in the area. We also have three female chickens and a male rabbit. Today a old man, looking quite rough/dodgy on the phone making some arm movement by the plaque. I am not sure if he was holding anything, what he was saying or if he was definitely remarking our house. If he is planning to take my dog, will he take our other pets too? Tonight I am staying away so my dog is at my aunt's house. If that is the case when will he strike? Any advice is very much appreciated. Thank you |

I was going to ask for money for the flight £380 and the visa itself £150. I think this is too much and I don't want to ask because it might look like in being greedy by asking for too much. My parents earn good money (dads an accountant and mums a teacher) but still £520 is a bit much isn't it? How much did you spend on your kids 21st's or how much did your parents spend on you? He's over reacts to everything little thing like crying when he's told to wash his hands, he makes messes and NEVER cleans it up and when someone tells him to do it he makes excuses like his arm hurts or he'll cry and complain about it for hours! And he always bugs me and plays with the loudest toys in the world! And it makes me furious how I tell that soft skull basturd to close the dang door, turn off the light, and turn down the tv and he NEVER does it! And each and everytime I have to get up out of my sleep to do it for him because that sh*t head can't do it himself! He talks like he's grown as if he knows everything and he acts like a adult and go his own path (when we're walking home from school) and he's so hard headed that when I tell him to come here he keeps going and says I'm going this way! but then when we have to cross a stream of water (12 inches across) he'll act like a baby and say I'm scared! and he won't move or even stand up if I don't hold his hand when walking across is! Then after that he's suddenly a grown man now. But today I was watching tv and that chuckle headed beetle changes the channel while I was watching tv and I got up and gently slapped his hand and my my who is a lying promise breaking hypocrite and says I scratched him! I told her I didn't but she got mad and said say sorry! and I didn't even hurt him! While this was going on my brother was watching then pretended to cry! And she knew it was fake! So now I'm in trouble for "scratching" him and my mom knows I didn't do it! And as soon as she laid down he stopped pretending to try and started to change the channel. So ya right not I hope he gets sold to another family. And honestly I wouldn't miss him. My older brother moved out a long time ago and I have yet to miss him so I know when I say I won't miss him I truly won't. But what do I do?? What ever we did at home (no matter what we did), it will appear on news, on her phone, her iPad, and her Wechat (it a Chinese messaging app. Similar to WhatsApp and Kik.) Every day, she will either start acting all crazy (start yelling at the window and say STOP SPYING ON US!!) or just telling us people are spying us and we need to move something like that. She kept telling this to her friends or family and they believe it. Now when ever she's on her phone or on her iPad, she start cussing and say random stuff like we ain't popular or any important person. We're just a normal person. So my dad comes up stairs and yells at me and tells me we re going to his friends house(which my dads friend has a friend thats a manager at bjs). So I tell my dad that theres no orientation today because they would ve called me. He just tells me shh and doesn t even listen to me. We go to his friends house and his friend tries to call his friend which is the manager and he doesnt pick up so we waste time go back home and I call bjs and they tell me there was no orientation today (the orientation manager was the one that picked up). But not only that that pisses me off but he never listens to me and he always has to be right if he isnt he just ignores you. He pisses me off because he yells at me all the time. Yesterday he yelled at me for looking outside the window while he was going to his friends house. He comes back and yells at me telling me don t look outside thats not my business even though I looked outside before he even went out the door. He didn t listen to me either. I really don t know what to do anymore I feel like i m starting to get anger issues from him and he s also bipolar, but doesnt want to admit it. Why doesn't she yell back?!! For starters, she's EXTREMELY Christian and believes that she is not allowed to yell at anyone or say anything "mean" back (that whole turn your cheek if someone slaps you thing). Which isn't helping the situation. It makes me feel bad for her but at the same time lose respect for her. Just recently, he got annoyed with her for practically nothing (it's been like this my whole life you never know what will set him off), yelled, said she was so "fricken" annoying, slammed the table all loud, and stormed off. All she did was sit there. It's like she gets MORE submissive when someone wayyyy oversteps her boundaries because of her stupid Christian beliefs (I think). She becomes like a helpless abused child which makes no sense because she was never abused. Why does she always bow down to people?! The worse they treat her, the more she will give them what they want. |

My daughter just found an apartment and already paid the first month and security and going to be living with roommates. I really don't think it's a good idea so I'm trying to convince her to stay. What can I do? I just don't want her to struggle and I'm happy she is doing the right thing and going out looking for another job or one that is temporarily. |

My husband had been dating the girl for a few months and she told him she was on birth control. He found out from her mother, after she became pregnant on purpose, that her goal in life was to find a man to get her pregnant so he would take care of her financially. He was disgusted but eventually married her because he felt it was the right thing to do. She refused to work, clean, etc but he stuck around until she cheated on him, got pregnant & kicked him out. Her dad is an attorney & madeit so that we only get his son 4 nights a mo. so she gets the maximum child support. She doesn't take time to teach him how to do things, she just does it for him & plops back down in front of the TV, which causes him to have very little self-control and independence. So when he comes to our house, we try to teach him but have him for such a short time, he reverts back to ignorance. He looks just like her, I see nothing of my husband in him, and the tension when he visits is almost unbearable. My husband says how much he loves him but often tunes him out when he's with us and seems genuinely relieved when he takes him back. He didn't want the child in the first place, went through hell with his mom, and has a new life. Stepson has a brother and shows that he prefers being with his mother and her new family. Anyone in the same boat? What did you do about it? Would prefer to break ties but there's such a stigma attached to it. Please don't bash, just need advice. Thanks! |

Posted: 29 Aug 2015 08:56 AM PDT So I'm 19, about to be 20 in 3 months. & my parents drive me insane to the point that I want to move out with my boyfriend of almost 3 years. I asked my dad if I can get my own phone line so I can be responsible for something by myself & he blew it WAY out of proportion & now wants to make me pay rent!!! Like all I wanted was to be responsible for my own phone bill. Also, he doesn't let me go out of the house if it's past like 8 oclock. If I'm already out, the latest I can come home with my boyfriend DEPENDING ON WHERE WE ARE, is 1130pm. I'm getting real sick of it already & just want my freedom cuz I deserve it. I graduated high school, did a year of college, I have a job, I help around the house, I cook for the family sometimes when my mom works. What more does he want? I just don't know what to do anymore & I need some advice. Ive already tried talking to them about it like an adult, & they still just don't get it. I've tried everything. I tried setting boundaries with them but still nothing. I'm just starting to get aggravated & would like some help. Please & thank you! |

We've been to Texas billions of times, so I thought I'd like it here. We decided to finally move after years of trying to decide. My mom and dad have been really worried about us, so I think it'll be a little easier. We haven't bought a house yet, so we haven't spent a ton of money. But the thing is, I miss my grandma in Wisconsin. I miss my old church. I miss Wisconsin weather, my tiny school, I miss having seasons. I just really want to go home. I know there is a part of my parents that want to, too. I cry every night because I hate my school, and I'm miserable. No matter how many times I try to make the most of it, I still get sad. I want to go home before we buy a house. We still have a house in Wisconsin that we are allowing people to rent. I just need a special way to tell them. I've already told them, and they are considering it. But I just hate living here. |

My reasoning is always that I want to give my child the life I never had in the sense of an undivided family. I have a 20 year old sister, a 19 year old sister, a 17 year old sister, a 15 year old brother and a 14 year old brother. Since Wednesday, our mum has been really sick and I'm basically the only one looking after her. Even our dad, who's supposed to be for her in sickness and in health, won't help look after her. I've been doing everything these past couple of days. Before mum was sick, I helped her do all the chores. But as she's sick, I'm doing all of them. I keep asking my dad and my siblings to help me with things, but all I get is "I'm busy, do it yourself". And by busy, they're either on their laptops, their tablets, phones, watching TV or at the pub if you're my dad, 20 year old sister and 19 year old sister. As much as I love looking after mum, I could really use help because this is making me very stressed. I'm using my time when mum's asleep to ask this question by the way. What should I do? I'm married with an 18 month old and another due in a week. I just went on maternity leave from my job and my husband and I have agreed that I'm going to take some extra time off from working to be with our children because we are able to afford that time. However, I have been helping my mom for years and years now financially. She is almost 43 and has 3 small kids and 1 19 year old living with her and unfortunately is still living with her own mom. None of the fathers are present in any of my siblings lives and my mom won't get a job. She was getting SSI for my brother and using that as income along with food stamps but this didn't matter because she always needed money from me for food, clothes,birthdays, etc. No she doesn't have any bills either as my grandmother pays rent and etc. I never tell my mom no because then she'll hang up in my face or make me feel guilty almost like it's my job to support her and the kids. Now it's gotten worse my brother is no longer getting SSI and she has no money at all coming in and really needs me for food and money and I'm fed up!!! I love my mom but I don't love taking care of her and the kids when that's the fathers job and hers. Kids are expensive and I have 2 of my own now. My husband and I have always helped her but she won't even help herself and we have our own bills to pay. My mom acts like since I've always had a job and a husband that I'm obligated to give her cash! |

The lady talked about my family but mostly about me. After a yr had passed my Mum went to a difference physic person 4 a joke with her friends. Yet again the physic man talked about me & said the same thing as what the woman said maybe just a coincidence idk? It gets even weirder coz I was on holiday and in this restaurant. While ordering food with my family, the owner of the restaurant takes my order but then when I look at him he looked shocked. He then said ur famous you will a actress & will be rich......ur name will be in lights. At that time I was kinda scared but then he went round the table & started telling us about my family that stuff only we know like my dads job & stuff about my brother. Only coz I was there he gave my family free desserts & that was a lot of money if we were to buy it. Then this yr on holiday a different man comes up to me and says the same thing, but I just ignored & walked away.... Btw I do really like Drama aswell.
