Posted: 26 Aug 2015 12:59 PM PDT So i am a 9yo, white boy with blonde hair and green eyes with freckles, around 4 feet tall or a little bit more than that, im really short, and im skinny, i just turn 9, i don't know my parents at all i know is that they were 16 and 17 when they created me.. And i was going to be aborted but instead I was put up for adoption, my new mom is not loving and cares less about me and my dad likes to mess with me because im so small and not very developed, he punches, flicks, drags, picks me up by my Leg, which is pretty fun but he sometimes drops me and i get hurt, kicks me , pulls on my hair and keeps touching me to make me feel uncomfortable, i sometimes think he is just playing around but is just too aggressive, but sometimes he really does hurt me, but i dont think he can help it, but i feel he isnt trying to be like that, he tells me im his prized possesion and that i am his property and no one elses and tells me that he loves me and that im a cute and he will always love me, that made me feel happy because i know he doesnt try to be mean, my parents are getting divorced and my dad told me he was going to keep me because i was fun, but im kinda scared to stay with him because he is agressive and sometimes weird and sometimes mean, but when he does hurt me he lets me sleep with him and he hugs me all night basically telling me that hes sorry, bur the only problem is how agressive he is and he sometimes scares me im really scared and dont know what to do, does anyone know? |

We had three death in our family on my mother side of the family. That was a year ago. It was tragedy. My aunt and my uncle both gone. My grandmother died when i was 8 and i was so glad because she hated that i was sophisticated whatever that means. I"m black and i think that my race is going extinct. I"m going to leave america because it my home. And dont call me sweetie because i will slap a *****!! I like britian culture but my home is here. I don't think black people can fight the government. I like to listen to nicki minaj but some of songs are crazy. |

I had been raised by my mother and husband being abused most of the time by him. Being made to do most of the work around the house and being hit were common. When the pair of them were coming out of a fight it came out that I wasn't his son (to my relief) and elements of my father's identity came out. I sought him out and eventually succeeded. I was 13 and was elated to have made contact. So was he as he'd been wondering if anything had come about from when he and mother were together and always had the possibility of a child in the back of his mind. He was young at the time and didn't understand what he was doing. I won't say how. But, were peer pressure not involved his decision to carry on wouldn't have occurred. We built up a close bond by my mid teens when the treatment I'd been receiving became clear to him despite my trying to keep it quiet and we began to work on my moving in with him. At the time I was rather isolated in the countryside and didn't have internet access. With talking on the phone being impossible thanks to my parents we kept in touch, beyond our meeting, by way of mail. One day, after our having started to plan my letters began to come back. His fiance had been rejecting them at the door while sending false ones under my name. Ones that made him think I had come to hate him. They're about to be divorced now and the admission came out and he's trying to reach out to me now. |

During the exchange with my sister and the girlfriend my sister exchanged phone numbers with the girlfriend. and i found out yesterday they have been commuicating daily without my knowledge. my daughter flight was suppose to leave yesterday however my sister arrived to the airport late thus she missed her flight. My sister took it upon herself to then contact my daughters father girlfriend explaining how i did not have the money for a new flight and if she would pay for it without my knowledge i later found this out through the airlines. Now i expressed i dont like how shes involving herself in my business and she got a attitude and said i was being petty. I feel it isnt her place to get involved with a woman whos with my ex who i dont get along with and her being my sister i expected better. am i wrong? |

My parents were just insulting me, thinking that I couldn't hear them, "I knew this would happen when we gave birth to her." "No one will go to her funeral when she dies." I feel so stupid, no one truly cares about me, I'm only a burden. When I came out to them of me being suicidal, and self harming, they would act confused, saying how I shouldn't be like this, and how they 'love me'. I guess love is when you insult, and belittle... They also talked about how they could put me up for adoption, and how no one would want me if I was. They constantly pamper my little brother, and ignore the disgrace of the family, me... I'm on the edge, I can't deal with life, it won't get better. Nothing to be depressed about? I get constantly teased at school, being bullied, and the teachers act like they never saw it happen. Verbal abuse from parents, the ones that are supposed to love, and care for you, no matter what. |

However, whenever she is talking to me or at dinner or when I am interacting with other people i put my phone away and do not look at it. However, she is CONSTANTLY on her phone while I am trying to talk to her. I'll walk up to her to discuss some important matter and she'll pull out her phone and start texting someone. It's really annoying as well because she will totally block me out and not hear anything I'm saying and not reply when I ask a question. Then, when I say her name repeatedly to get her attention, she freaks out at me. IT'S SO ANNOYING and whenever I bring it up she gets all defensive and says that I shouldn't be talking, I'm always on my phone which is total BS. Also, she yells at me if I so much as take my phone out of my back pocket at the dinner table but will constantly take her phone out and start texting or doing whatever (she forces my dad and I to have family dinners). It's so frustrating and I don't know what to do. |

I adore children and animals too but apparently you can't do that unless you become a parent. Anyways, So I plan to pursue a career as a daycare director and to fill my need to nurture a being I will get a pet, for I think it is terrible to have children just so they can love you back. |

When I gave birth a few years ago, she acted nasty about it and gossiped with my family members saying that I didn't deserve to have a child. I've had her as a friend on my Facebook for years, but she's never interacted with me much on there, or even in person when I lived near her. Over the past few years after I moved to a different state, she's started reaching out more and more often. I'm an artistic person. She keeps telling, not asking, me to make things for her or people she knows. I did once, and she never said thank you or anything. Since then I've been ignoring every request and demand. She's mentioned several times that she wishes she could do different things I do, so I give her advice on how to get started and she ignores it. She keeps saying how much she misses me and wants to visit. I find it strange. She will randomly message me and say she saw something on my Facebook a while back and proceed to act like I'm entitled for being able to do things she can't do. Recently, she said that "for some reason" she can't see my posts on her feed, even though I don't have her blocked in any way, and says it bothers her that she misses out on what's going on in my life. She never initiates actual proper conversations, and when I do she doesn't converse back. Essentially, she doesn't make an effort to be involved and, in my humble opinion, acts very backhanded. We're not fully ready to start working it bc we need a trailer or a moving truck. We advertised and got allot of calls. His sister & his brother-in-law saw that it's a business with potential so they Offered to "help" at first by providing the trailer, advertising using our company name but with their own number &they wanted half of the earnings. & after, they would separate & do their own thing STILL using our name. I said haha! no. so the other option was my husband & I doing our own thing and they would just rent us their trailer for a certain amount. I was ok with that. But out of nowhere my husband's sister & her husband switched it up&won't just rent him the trailer, they want him to use it & give them half bc they'll be providing other things such as the wrapping paper& security blankets to protect the furniture. I told himI'm not comfortable with that &id rather us work harder to be able start our business just us two without ppls "help". If they really wanted to help him they wouldn't be there trying to take advantage of the fact that he needs help by trying to make of profit out of it. I only slept todAY 4 hours so go figure it's stressing when your the only person working on your own company. I never went to college and i make about 80k-120k a year. I have a cousin he's 21. He is the opposite he works at verizon 9 hours a day and goes to college. He doesn't have what i have. Maybe in a decade from now but not not this second. He's always trying to bring me down. For example let's say business is good he will then ask how's business? i will say very exciting fine. He will then talk about how i need to go to college just to be sure i will be future proof/in case my business fails. He then talks about how i need too loose weight or a girl will never love me. He also say's "Yeah bro you need to chill and leave your job thing alone go chase some girls since i know you don't get laid". Just pure similar stuff like this to bring me down. I also just got a 80k 2015 mercedes and he's like wow crazy payments you got in financing that's insane. He thinks he's better then anyone else in his head. While he has no car he takes the bus. |

Posted: 26 Aug 2015 10:57 AM PDT my dad's never been good to my mom and i. he's always been verbally abusive and careless toward us and very selfish. for the past year things have gotten so much worse. his job keeps him out late, but he comes home even later around 2-3 am. on his day offs he wakes up, leaves and comes back at night, even when he's home he doesn't talk to my mom or me. he never asks me how school is going, or anything about my life (maybe rarely). my mom says she's stayed with him this long for me, so that i could have a family. i'm getting married next year and i just can't deal with this constant anxiety of what my dad is going to do next. and i feel SO much guilt that my mom is taking this for me. I'm not even excited for planning my wedding because i'm afraid any minute my dad's going leave or we'll find out he's w/ someone else it's just too much.... i don't know what to do :( most of all i feel bad for my mom |

They began to say I am spoilt, and they then said I am going to loose every thing. Now I do get the fact I can be spoilt, I do ask for a lot, but only sweets. It then escalated, and I just said " meet any other person my age, all of my friends get nikes, and holidays, and a nice room!" Now I understand it was cruel of me to say this because my parents are trying I am just fed up that they keep calling me spoilt. All of my clothes are hand me downs, my bed frame is a hand me down, every thing I own is basically a hand me down! And if I do ever get bought anything over 3 pounds I am so great full and I make that clear. She never pays for anything on the car-I pay for gas, and pay my dad for repairs, and she still gets upset about me driving it, and says it's unfair. But she still gets to drive the car everywhere. She questions me when I come home late from work, and tells me it's not fair that I drive it 90 percent of the time. 2.) She doesn't have a job, and just sits at home all day on the ipad-my parents aren't making her get one. The only time she leaves the house is to go to school. 3.) Whenever I try to resolve conflict with her, if she's being a little ****, she fires back and tells me I'm immature, I cause conflict and I need attention. It gets to the point where I have to go talk to my parents about it to resolve it because she just won't listen. 4.) Reminds me every day that I shouldn't be living at home at 20 years old, and I was supposed to go away to college so she could have the car, but I can't because my grades are so shitty. (I chose to stay home to go to a local university to save money.) How is any of this fair? She is rude and over the top with me all the time, and I still get blamed for it. She acts like she's 5 (Example: Crying because she couldn't go to a soccer tournament with my parents and my other sister; cried enough that she got to go in the end.) |

They both dont back down and are most likely going to fight. They are both over 20 and living on their own, I have told my daughter to ignore any gossip, we are all family and my daughter is pregnant. It so happened that her cousin was in the neighborhood with a girl that just had a baby with my male cousin's brother, I know its complicated, anyways, they began to curse at my daughter and my daughter got upset because she is pregnant and everyone knows, yet they still want to fight her. Long story short, My male cousin is threatening to kick my daughters *** and on top of it all, he has his ex involved, they are both trouble makers. always have been. My daughter is not a saint, but neither is my little cousin. To top it off, the new girl that had the baby is going back to my male cousin and his ex spreading lies about me. My husband and I live miles away, and we are afraid the cousins might fight and hurt each other. Posted: 26 Aug 2015 09:18 AM PDT We have been dating since february and we have met very few times saying she isn't allowed out of the house ever (coz she isnt earning to be independent enough?). She's 22 years. And because of that the only time we meet is when her parents aren't home; and since we live in the same apartment, we used to stand at the door and keep a watch for elevators every 10 seconds. I can never call her when she's at home (says her parents will hear her from outside the door?). At the beginning she wouldn't send me photos after her parents are asleep (coz if she turns on the light in her room or uses the phone flash her sleeping parents will knock at the door and start shouting); but now that's not an issue. She gifts me things that seem to be factory made (like intricately designed and painted clay models and really unique looking posters 'done by hand'...etc) telling me she made them. I just moved to Canada and she's still back home; things are getting weirder. Sometimes disappearing early in the morning saying her parents are abusive and keep degrading her by shouting at her for no reason early in the ******* morning and for hours on end, wasting their sleep and peace even though they have work the next day; sometimes shouting for over 5 hours with no stop. Weird things happen in her college that make no sense to me. And disappearing once in a while with excuses that are hard to believe. I don't think she is cheating one me. Wtf is going on? Seriously feel screwed up. |

Recently I went to her house to try and have a calm discussion with her about her sons bullying my oldest son. She ended up never letting me speak and called the law on me telling them I was there causing trouble and wouldn't leave! I firmly believe she suffers from middle child syndrome. She always has to be the center of attention. She rules the roost everywhere she goes except in my home. She's even went as far as to forcibly remove me from my MIL home and said nothing about her two sons laughing their butts off at their mom bullying their aunt. I haven't seen or talked to them since. I've been apart of this family for 15 years and I'm tired of my opinions being ignored and my SIL pretending I don't even exist. Everyone else in the family accepts me. So I'm done with trying to prove to her that I'm a part of this family too. Not to mention it's causing problems in my marriage. What to do? |

Posted: 26 Aug 2015 09:15 AM PDT Well first off, we live way out in the country on a dirt road on farm land in the middle united states . We own a small farm. When its the warm season, late April till about early November my 2 sons pretty much stop wearing shoes as does there cousin of the same age down the road, the only time we force them is if we are going someplace in public which is honestly once a week if that. They will put on there overalls and shirt in the morning then out the door barefoot. They are home schooled by there Aunt. The only thing I tell them is to be careful and thus far they have never suffered a major injury or infection because of it. When I was young, I did the same thing without problem as did my grandparents generation. I sort of stopped when I was about in my late teens but is there a set age when I should encourage them to stop or will they just grow out of it? They are 11 and 14. |

It's usually been about stupid and insignificant things but recently it's been about selling our house. I used to think that they shouldn't get a divorce, that it would ruin my life, but recently I've really wanted them to divorce. But they won't until the house is sold. Now, their making me choose between them and I don't really know who to pick. My dad is really pressuring me a lot more than my mom though, but that doesn't mean I don't want to live with him. My dad and mom both are great parents but I hate having the pressure on me to choose between them. I just really want joint custody and want them the be okay with that. However, whenever I want to talk to them about the issues, they get all defensive and it always turns out into a fight. Please tell me what I should do? Who can I talk to? I'm really scared and don't want to make a mistake in a decision that can ruin the rest of my life. |

I can't drive, and there's no buses going anywhere near me, and so I practically can't leave the house, unless I wanna hassle my 87 year old grandma to drive me to the nearest bus stop, as my parents are out at work all day. There is literally nothing I can do, so I spend most my time on my phone and the laptop. But my parents always get angry with me for not doing anything, and at the moment it's summer. During school I always do my homework and work and everything when I have it, but now it's summer I have nothing to do, And basically this whole summer my parents, especially my mum, comes home bitching about how she knows I haven't done anything all day and just sat on my phone, which is true but I enjoy wasting my time on my phone, especially if there's nothing else to do. Then my sister, she has turned into some bossy ***** and she's always saying how I should do stuff, like get off my phone and do extra school work or whatever, but I have no school work or anything I can do cos I haven't even started the next school year yet so I have nothing I can physically do, But I never see her doing anything! She spends her entire life in her bed and my parents don't say **** about it It's so annoying I literally just wanna move out |

I was trying to be different and get some free samples and she went through the mail and saw my stuff and then she copied. My whole life my favorite color was like the beach teal, sea green,and Aqua Like my room. Her colors was yellow and gray. Now she keeps saying "I want my room to be Beach themed just like mine. She knows it bothers me but she does it anyway. She always says that my parents have favoritism towards me because I clean the kitchen for $30 and because I get away with stuff. He constantly makes fun of me because I'm chubby. He tells me his brother can do better and he's probably dating me as a dare or because he feels bad. He calls me dumb and mocks my slight Southern accent. Of course Roderick never does this around my boyfriend and acts polite when he's around. I don't know why he hates me; the only time he has ever apologised was once when he literally made me cry and he kind of freaked out and said he was just joking with me. Yet he still continued only days later. It's gotten worse to the fact that I feel uncomfortable around him because he will make comments about my "fat a$$" and then slap it hard. Or he made comments saying that the only good thing about me being fat was that I had huge ****. And just the other day Roderick asked if I'd ever slept with his brother. I said not that it was any of his business but no. Then he asked if I was a virgin which I wasn't ashamed to admit that I was. Then he said "do you still want to be?" And started rubbing my leg. He then saw that I looked totally scared and started laughing saying "as if I'd do someone like you" before waking away. Roderick and my boyfriend have always been super close and I don't want to get between them so I never brought it up to my boyfriend but I think my patience is wearing thin. Posted: 26 Aug 2015 08:29 AM PDT my dad's never been good to my mom and i. he's always been verbally abusive and careless toward us and very selfish. for the past year things have gotten so much worse. his job keeps him out late, but he comes home even later around 2-3 am. on his day offs he wakes up, leaves and comes back at night, even when he's home he doesn't talk to my mom or me. he never asks me how school is going, or anything about my life (maybe rarely). my mom says she's stayed with him this long for me, so that i could have a family. i'm getting married next year and i just can't deal with this constant anxiety of what my dad is going to do next. and i feel SO much guilt that my mom is taking this for me. I'm not even excited for planning my wedding because i'm afraid any minute my dad's going leave or we'll find out he's w/ someone else it's just too much.... i don't know what to do :( most of all i feel bad for my mom |

My Brother-in-law is a great man..He funded my college education and allowed me to stay with my sister in city even though it could have invaded his privacy...After college,he helped me getting a good job and now I'm slowly able to repay the debt we took using our house as collateral.. Though now I live in PG,I regularly visit my sister and bro-in-law atleast once a week and we go to my native place together... I recently heard that my relatives on my dad's side have spread rumors that my bro-in-law helped us because he had an affair with me and my sister and mother allowed this because of our financial situation... We are Indians who have conservative values and family honor..and people believe rumors easily and villify someone as a slut without verifying..and no family would decide to marry me thinking I'm not a good girl.. FYI,My bro-in-law had always been a gentleman and never ever tried anything wrong with me even when my sister was in my mom's house during the time of her pregnancy... I dont know how to reverse this rumor as it will knock off potential suitors looking for me.. |
| Posted: 26 Aug 2015 07:22 AM PDT I was ironing my clothes earlier, and decided to go downstairs to see my sis and mum. I kept the iron on because I thought to quickly go downstairs, look and come back up. In the end, I stayed downstairs for 20-30 mins. My mum went up and started shouting my name, I went up and she told me that she accidently touched the iron and it was so very hot, her arm got burned and I bet it hurt A LOT. Is this my fault for keeping the iron on? I totally forgot about it when I was downstairs..I didn't mean for this to happen. I iron clothes rarely. This isn't really my first time but I just do this rarely. What should I do now? My mum said it's okay since it's one of my first times ironing, I'm also a young kid. :L |

The fact we also share rooms makes things more complicated and even more so the fact that she often sleeps naked & walks around with very little clothing. Sometimes she will cuddle up to me and act like it's not a big deal. I love her very much & she loves me too but she is such a control freak at times. |

I have a cousin who is the opposite he works at walmart and goes to college. With that being said he doesn't have what i have maybe in a decade from now but not now. He's always trying to bring me down in a way. For example let's say business is good he will then ask how's business? i will then say fine. He will then talk about how i need to go to college just to be sure i will be future proof. He then talks about how i need too loose weight or else a girl will never love me etc. Just pure stuff like this to bring me down. I also own a 2015 mercedes and he's like wow crazy apr you got in financing that's insane. He just thinks he's better then anyone else in his head. While he has no car he takes the bus. Also,I'm going for a barbecue tomorrow at the beach and my dad wants the exact pit number and everything which I think is a little ridiculous like why else would he want the pit number if it isn't to come and spy on me? Ever since he came here and he started working. His family ask him for money all the time non stop. They always have some type of issue going on. The main characters here are his mother, his sister, and his grandmother who raised him. Who all aren't poor at all. They are almost middle class people, they do not starve or anything like that. His mother wasnt even around much until he came here and she became a loving mother all of the sudden. She has a hair salon which gives her some income and shes married to a guy who has a bar as well. His younger sister is also married with no kids and her and her husband both work and make enough to get through life. His grandmother has 4 daughters one of them here in new jersey who helps her alot. Plus she owns her house and has another house for rent. Which gives her some income. Excuse me I just dont ******* know what to do. I have talked to him about this and he agrees with me on putting a line to them. But then days later they basically persuade him to do something for them all over again. Im tired of wasting my saliva talking to him. And i just dont want to tell his family off myself because i know they will make a huge deal about it. And make my life a living hell. |

The reason being we were talking about old gifts when I was a kid and I said my favourite was the doll house I got when I was younger etc. So for my birthday she decided to get this huge dolls house. Only problem is me and my partner live in this tiny flat and you can't fit anything in it. At the moment it's on the floor in the way of everything.
