we have been dating for 6 months. she's 24 and i'm 28. I really do love her but I feel like she could use a little guidance sometimes. She's not very good at balancing out her life. She has thousands of dollars worth of makeup but insists on buying a new lipstick every week.. yes EVERY WEEK. and the lipsticks she buys are not cheap.. they cost about $20 a pop.. I've been with her when she does all this buying. I could understand if the lipstick was about 3 dollars but it's way more. She gets them from a really expensive store called Sephora. She claims she has to get it as soon as they release it because if it she waits if it will be out of stock. and I told her " okay well let it be out of stock. you have like 50 lipsticks already and they all look the same" and she said "nope I cant let that happen. when certain lipsticks go out of stock at Sephora they could be out of stock at months at a time. what if I need that certain color for an event". I'm telling yall she will spend her last 20 dollars on a lipstick if she has to. it's crazy to me. it's not a NEED but a WANT. she acts like she's going to die if she doesn't get the lipstick. I understand she has a passion for makeup and wants to be a makeup artist but she can't keep spending money like she's rich. especially since she only makes 150 a week at her job. even millionaires budget their money. also she talks about makeup 24/7.. that is literally all she talks about day in and day out. She needs new clothes because most of her clothes don't fit anymore or they either have holes all throughout them and she says she can't afford them. I told her" wel you could if you cut back on your expensive makeup buying" and she has matted hair because she hasn't had her hair done in 3 months. she said she doesn't know how to do it and she can't afford a professional. she doesn't even wash it or brush it. it just looks dirty. i'm not trying to be a mean boyfriend but I can smell her hair

And if yes, any suggestions on what to get them. Sending a thank you card to them just seems like not enough.

My girlfriend and i have been talking about eloping for years. A few days ago i finally proposed after 13 years and, already plans have changed.now she is concerned about not being able to decide a lot of the little details about the wedding (I personally thought that was the whole point in eloping). Also we have 2 small children that she would like to include in the wedding. Also she does want to have a reception when we return regardless. Does anyone know of a good place or good way to go about this. Have any of you ever eloped before? Thanks

I had everything planned out; I was going to propose in a restaurant, only to have someone pop the question just before me. It really put me off and I found I couldn't go through with it. What should I do?
