Question: Hi, I have a question about becoming a resident/citizen in the USA.? Posted: 29 Aug 2015 07:50 PM PDT So, I am doing an essay about this topic, and my question is, is it true that when you get married only for papers, you have live with your "spouse" in order to get papers, or can you just get married and wait for your papers in the comfort of your own home without living with your "spouse?" |
Question: A married man says he is willing to help me with my bills. Should I let him? Posted: 29 Aug 2015 07:47 PM PDT Been knowing him for well over a year now, haven't met the wife.... But he's says it's not about sex because that would be wrong he just likes me and wants to help... Should I let him He's like 15 years older than me,,,, I'm 28 and he's 43.... Do you think sex is what he is after or just friendship? |
Question: Would it be wrong to say something? Posted: 29 Aug 2015 07:43 PM PDT I need some serious advice on what to do. My girlfriend has this best friend she's known since the first grade. This friend has an older brother that sometimes hits on her and comments on her pictures and things like that. We've been together for 6 months and I've hung out with her at her friends house with her brother there so the guy knows who I am. The times I've told my gf about it she's just said he's harmless and just playing, but I feel like this pricks disrespecting me by doing it. I'm at a crossroads about what to do, should I tell him something and call him out on it. Should I tell him something? |
Question: A married guy suggested I go shopping for him. What do you think? Posted: 29 Aug 2015 07:41 PM PDT So this married guy I've been acquaintances with for a long while suggested I go shopping for him since he doesn't enjoy it... I've never met the wife but he says he's not trying to have sex with me because that would inappropriate. What do you guys think? What should I do? |
Question: My son wants to get married? Posted: 29 Aug 2015 07:40 PM PDT My son (19) asked his girlfriend to marry him (19). They've been together around 4 years and have lived together for a year. My son is a welder and she is still in college. I'm unsure how to feel about this they've been together quiet long and she's very close with our family. I can't say I'm really surprised he asked her he even asked me when he was 17 about how I would feel if he married her. Should I be happy sad worried I'm not sure it's a lot to take in. Is he too young? |
Question: Sexual desire and thoughts? Posted: 29 Aug 2015 07:28 PM PDT I'm struggling with my sex thought I got divorced three years ago and I'm very desiring it. Plus I don't want premarital sex because of my religious beliefs. So now I'm suffering with thoughts I want to have a husband good one. It's getting hard to find a husband. It's so much hard now days I'm struggling with sexual thoughts need your advice |
Question: I don't want to be too bold, but I want to tell him I want sex? Posted: 29 Aug 2015 07:19 PM PDT A month ago he asked if we were, I said yes. Then we made out in a parking lot and we both had to go. Then last week we did a little foreplay. We go back to work Wednesday, and I'm putting my house up for sale literally the day after Labor Day, the same day school begins ( we both teach)... And my period started.. Ugh... So I want the first time to be relaxed and not rushed or with these things going on. I wonder if I just saw him Wednesday morning and suggested we go for it Sunday, if he'd say yes? We have nothing due at work and classes all set up... Gosh I'm just really nervous at getting the nerve. I guess if he asked me a month ago then I shouldn't worry, right? It's just that we looked at a calendar a couple days ago in his office but he turned around and we did oral instead of choosing a day. So I'm wondering if he didn't want to pick a day or if his brain just switched to oral and we just didn't get back to it. Silly to worry like s teenager, but... I'm realllllly into him and don't want to appear too eager. Plus, he's only divorced from his wife for a year and a half, so I'm worried that maybe he's nervous? He's also 20 years older than I am, and recently had some minor surgery for prostate cancer. He said it's not a big deal but libido is a little lower. Is there anything I can say to make him feel at ease? |

Question: I suspect my husband is cheating. What should I do? Posted: 29 Aug 2015 06:09 PM PDT I recently reconciled with my husband after running away because he had hit me. when he hit me I also punched him in the nose which he claims I broke. While he was out, I packed up my things and flew overseas to be with family. While I was there he was supporting me and our daughter. He told me he would change when if I came back home. it's been a month since my return and he's been talking non stop to a woman he refers to as his "Friend's wife" He says she's his friend and tried to convince him to stay with me while I was away. What I find strange is he talks to her for long periods of time every day. I've never seen this friend he speaks of. He swears he's not cheating and laughs at my allegations. She called him today and not long after that call he went out and came back 2 hrs later he drinks a whole bottle of red wine and whisky While we were away my son would keep asking me about his father which is why I came back. Now that I'm back he's still yelling and talking down to me. One minute he's the perfect gentleman and the next he's a mean jerk. What should I do? |
Posted: 29 Aug 2015 06:03 PM PDT I believe that if God has bless you to be financially able enough to not worry about any bills, needs, or wants. You can buy just about anything you need and want. Here's the thing, People get married, and stay married for years, then they decide to divorce, OK, well if a person is independent, whether they are male or female they shouldn't need to relay on the ex spouse income in order to have money, in my opinion, if you "have it going on", as far you having money, then you should need nobody.. Keep your stuff and money, I Don't need it. |

Posted: 29 Aug 2015 05:52 PM PDT So I guess that's more than one question. Oh well, I've dated but I've hardly had any real relationships in my life with me. I get told that I'm attractive sometimes by random people but, I don't do a lot in my social time to go out and meet new people. If I want to try date more, what's a good way to meet men especially if I'm shy/quiet? *hardly any real relationships with men, typo |
Question: Am i wrong? I feel lonely since my husband is gone and? Posted: 29 Aug 2015 05:42 PM PDT I have a cheated on him twice and carried on a relationship with a live in bf that went horribly. My husband was deported to Honduras and we had a decent marriage before he left, but I decided to stay behind. Big mistake! I haven't my hubby in almost two years and it is starting to hurt! |
Question: What are the best options I have right now? Posted: 29 Aug 2015 05:23 PM PDT I ended things with my husband at the end of January 2014. He moved out around the end of February 2014, and we have been separated ever since. He said he was going to file the papers for the divorce and I would get mine in the mail to sign and send back. It is now August 2015 and I have not received any paperwork, and anytime I ask him about the papers, he said he's going to do it soon. I don't think he's holding out for a reconciliation, because he's been in a new relationship for about 14 months now. I currently do not have the funds to file the paperwork, but I want to get the divorce taken care of and finalized so I can finally move on with my life. What options do I have? I live in the state of Pennsylvania, if that helps. Ok, so here is what I've been dealing with in more specific terms, since people don't seem to understand: Ex and I parted on mutual terms. Both agreed to divorce and ex said he would take care of paperwork, cost and all. It's been about 18 months and still no papers. I see him every week(we have a child and share custody) and bring it up every single time. He always has an excuse, like he bought something and has no money, or he forgot. He did have papers at one point, 'cause he showed me -c- -c- He showed me the papers he had and said I would get mine certified mail to sign and send back. I never got them. Even asked the post office a few times about any certified mail. They hadn't gotten anything to deliver. He's been with his new girlfriend for 14 months, and they go out all the time. He's admitted to blowing his entire paycheck on her before. He claims he wants to ask her to marry him, but yet he keeps putting off the paperwork instead of filing like he promised me he would. |
Question: Want so desperately to leave? Posted: 29 Aug 2015 05:23 PM PDT I want so badly to leave my mate of 8 years. We have a child together (7) and he is verbally and emotionally abusive but not physcially. I have been denying this for a very, very long time to just get by. Everything we have is in his name. NY is not a common law state. Im screwed. I found a house I would like and my mom said she'd help with with the deposit and my oldest son said he'd help to pay rent. He also hates the way he treats us, me especially. I am not sure how to leave. I do work full time at a good job. But with the car in his name, I am afraid he will take the car away from me. I am miserable and everytime I get away from this house I am so happy. I am not having an affair, I just want O U T |
Question: Calif divorce and spousal support? Posted: 29 Aug 2015 04:48 PM PDT Divorcing (my request) after 36 years of marriage in Calif.. Husband has $400k salary but says he would just retire now if I finalize divorce. I don't think I deserve any spousal support as he only has to work to keep up his extravagent lifestyle which I understand I will not have. My Soc Sec will not cover my costs of living. Lawyer however, says if I don't ask for it, court will likely know I am being pressured and will nullify which will cause more legal fees. Anyone have experience on this? |
Posted: 29 Aug 2015 04:05 PM PDT The advice I get is you don't need to have sex and should be focusing on your career and become a workaholic. Why can't married couples just suck it up and focus on other aspects of their lives like people tell me to do? |
Question: Worried I won't ever find love? Posted: 29 Aug 2015 03:45 PM PDT I wonder a lot if, I will ever find someone to love again? It has been a year now since, I had a relationship that actually meant something. It's hard at times, but never tearful, like it has been lately. I miss the companionship, having the butterflies in my belly, the joy of seeing someone who actually wants to see you, compared to someone who has to see me. I have wondered several times if maybe something is wrong with me. After a year of online dating. Nothing excites me... That scares me, is it a sign that something is truly wrong with me? I miss that feeling I got in my past two relationships. Maybe they were love and I lost out... Any suggestions or advise? I am 27, I have a college education, a good job, I'm back in school working to finish my prerequisite courses to get into a masters program to become a Physicians Assistant... I have an amazing family, I have a cousin who is my best buds and keeps me busy. But, there is just always that sadness of missing out. After I had cancer, I knew my life would always be different..., but I am healthy and I have been for 4 years now. It's just really hard, watching all my friends get married, have babies, attending shower after shower. Wondering if I will ever have a shower? Any advice on meeting someone special? I want a husband, love, marriage, someone to push me through school, someone who supports me, I my own family. Life is hard. Sometimes it's hard putting on a happy face, whenever there is pain in my heart. |
Question: Marriage at first sight? Posted: 29 Aug 2015 03:38 PM PDT The story goes, when my father first met my mother he knew right when he met her that he was going to marry her. Another story with my mother's best friend's husband, he knew he was going to marry a woman named Paulette before he even knew anyone named Paulette. Then he gets married to someone and they don't work out. But later down the road he marries again and what's her name? Paulette. And another thing, the other night I was watching a show on Dateline and then the moment she first saw him, the first word out of her mouth, she was saying, was, "marriage." Are these just weird coincidences or is there research or something behind this? |

Question: What is your opinion of parents that had kids at a very young age? Posted: 29 Aug 2015 03:00 PM PDT I'm in the process of reconnecting with my father after a long absence (long story) and I'm starting to wonder if our age difference being so little for most that it may pose a problem for many. He was extremely young when I was conceived. Though, were it not for an interloping, soon to be ex wife of his we would have held together. It should be noted that we kept in touch mostly through letters years ago before I'd the ability to email (mid 90's) and she intercepted a few of mine and replaced them with ones of hers. Making him think I hated him for his being so young at the time. |

Question: CO-worker kissed me? Posted: 29 Aug 2015 02:36 PM PDT After I gave my 2 weeks notice, I joked a couple of times with a female coworker about giving me a goodbye kiss. She came back to my office and asked me if I was serious and if I was joking. I said it was no joke and then she said ok and kissed me on the lips. There wasn't any tounge, but it was open mouth about 10 seconds. I am married and she knows it and has met my wife. She then kissed me again on my last day. I have texted/called her several times since then to try to get together with her but she says she just can't do that with a married guy. Before you answer, don't tell me that this isn't right, all I want to know is why a woman would kiss a married guy like she did if she didn't want more? |

Question: Military wives only!! I need advice.? Posted: 29 Aug 2015 01:51 PM PDT Well my husband is away at JRTC and usually when you go to JRTC you're supposed to go to the BOX but he's not. He's been spending his days in the MWR and playing video games and if he does work it's for like an hour or two. He also has friends out there that are stationed there and he's been going out with them pretty much every weekend. Staying out late, going to the movies to see a movie that we promised to watch together and going bowling and just basically doing stuff that we don't even get to do at home. When it's just us it's the same everyday. Netflix and stay in. We haven't gone out or done anything for ourselves because we never have the money anymore. So since I e been home I've gone out twice and have been just watching Netflix and doing school. And I really feel upset about all that is going on since he's been gone. Should i just get over it or what? And on top of that I'm pregnant and feeling really hormonal. |
Question: I'm in love with my boyfriend, we are both 18, is there really a possibility of marriage? Posted: 29 Aug 2015 01:50 PM PDT My boyfriend is seriously the only person in this world I want to be with. I've known him for four years and dated him my freshman year of high school and hung out with him a bit afterwards too as we never really officially broke up but grew apart. I moved far and didn't see him for about a year and a half then dated him again then bad timing happened and I couldn't see him for another year. Then now we are dating again lol. When I dated him in ninth grade we fell in love and though I wanted to marry him and he told me if we were still together when he graduated high school he would, I was 14 and never thought it would actually happen and I'm sure he even forgot saying that as it's been so long. When we dated again last year he asked me a lot about marriage and what I would do if he proposed and everything. This time around he asks me about children, how many I want, names, boys or girls, things like that and shared his ideas about children and parenting too. We are moving in together in January. I feel so dumb but I can't help but think about marrying him and wondering if there's really a possibility we could be together forever. He's so perfect and is so good to me and would be the best husband in the world. Is there really a chance? Or am I just completely out of line for thinking these things? Thanks so much! |

I thought that you will only meet "the right one" once so I took the change to peruse the relationship with boldness even though I had no idea what I was doing due to having no prior experience. Due to an operation being needed we had no sex-life for about 7-8 years after getting married. Ever since then for 7-8 years our sex-life has been ok-ish I guess. But I made a commitment to stay with her for better or worse and I wasn't lying when I said it. Now I just feel angry and sad that after trying to do "the right thing" in life I am just frustrated and have had a really sad life. People have said we should both go with other people for a while so that we can "live a little" but that sounds like very bad advice especially as someone who said that split from a long term relationship after saying that, after he was found out to have been cheating on his partner. I'm just angry that I have never kissed girl, had a date, had a girlfriend, got intimate or danced with a girl before meeting my wife. Even while being engaged and married those things didn't really happen much. We did date ofc but not too much because we just very comfortable with each other and didn't feel the need to go on dates as such very often. My wife and I both want to get this sorted and are actively looking for ways to address this issue as even she had a boyfriend and kissed and danced with boys before she met me. |

Question: Women-would you talk to male acquaintance who is with his partner? Posted: 29 Aug 2015 11:37 AM PDT The background between you two is you kinda sorta like each other and have flirted... But didn't go further because you both are in a relationship. You saw him with his girlfriend and you're dying to acknowledge him. Should you not acknowledge him just in case his girlfriend is extremely jealous? |
Question: I don't know why he is acting strange all of a sudden? Posted: 29 Aug 2015 11:27 AM PDT My parents thought it was a good idea to arrange a marriage for me. They have set me up with my father's best friend son. I agreed to it but only if we have a trial run marriage so that we get to know each other more. Their son has been coming to our house for the holidays for the past decade so he's not much of a stranger. He has been acting all jealous and possessive lately. Last week he surprised me by coming to my workplace to take me out for lunch. He saw a rose placed on my table and he asked me who it was from and threw the rose out and then the next day, my office was filled with 6 dozen roses with many colours. Yesterday, he had someone follow me and take pictures of me in different places. Then asked me who I was having lunch with ( male co worker). Then I asked me how he knew I was having lunch with someone male. Then he spilled it out and told me that he got his assistant to follow me. I was pissed and I asked him why he has been acting strange but he gets all defensive. I mean our relationship was perfectly fine and I seriously don't know what I've done to lose his trust. The only thing we have argued about is the fact that he doesn't want a prenuptial agreement and if we actually get married and get a divorce he could lose millions of dollars whereas I won't lose anything. But that fight was a couple of weeks ago but it wasn't fully sorted. Any reason why he would act strange ? |
Posted: 29 Aug 2015 11:00 AM PDT My boyfriend had left is phone at my house and when a random number called I figured it was him trying to call it to find it. I have been told I sound like a guy over the phone, or maybe this chick was just trying to screw him over, but when I answered this woman was saying that she had a great time with him the other night. I figured I would talk to him about it later and left it alone but called my best friend to talk. Somehow from her word got around until my boyfriend found out. Next thing I know he's running into my house crying and saying it was a mistake that wouldn't happen again and he was sorry. So I said okay and told him there was no reason to cry if he's sorry what the hell else could I do. I asked if it was more than once and he said yes but that it was just for sex. I said that I'd be upset if WE had been having sex (because of stds he could get from other people) but we aren't. I told him that I understood he was probably upset from not getting any from me but I don't want him to sleep with anymore people while we are together. He went from crying to straight up screaming at me claiming I didn't care about him or anything he did if not I'd be upset about him cheating. I just shrugged. He said he cheated on me so I would pay attention to him. I feel like I spend most of my time with him when we aren't at school besides he said nothing about that earlier so I feel like he made it up. I think he's being ridiculous about this but I dont know. What do you think? By the way when I say school I mean we are both in college not high school. |

Posted: 29 Aug 2015 06:03 AM PDT My husbands is addicted to video games he is on them all the time even at work. He is on them from the moment he gets up till he goes to bed& if he is not on them he's on his shows. He never spends time with me, talks with me, or even looks at me. I talked many times to him about it and he always promises he will do better but that only last a few days. I tried everything I tried playing the game with him, playing board games with him, taking the stupid thing and hiding it. Every time he just gets really defensive& it always becomes a fight. Recently we got into about the games cuz i told him I'm lonely& its me or the game. And knowing I have no family or friends once so ever he choose the games& told me& my daughter to get out Of course I didn't leave because the house is half mine but right then he broke my heart and now when he gets off work it kills me to see him knowing he choose some game over me& I just try to evade him all day. He is a good man and works long hard hours, he makes me laugh and smile, and helps out with my daughter even tough she isn't his I love him to death I really do but being ignored all day& not having him be there for me in other things is killing me He don't even want to have sex with me but once every few months he would rather be alone for his own release. I'm not even sure if he loves me at all anymore but loves the things I do for him. He says the games& shows are a release for him from the world but it feels like he is just escaping from me |
Question: When does someone get to the point that they like to settle down with someone? Posted: 29 Aug 2015 05:20 AM PDT How does this part of life work? How does one know when they are finished looking for someone and they decide they want to live with someone or need someone? Priorities? I thought I knew everything there was to that part of life, but I am still learning. I thought it was too late for me to learn about these type of things. |
