She and I have been a long distance relationship while she was finishing school, but a week ago she moved down near me for good. Since then, she felt alone because she left her family, and attempted suicide(she had cheated while away and didn't know how to face me with that), and after about a week, told me this stuff, along with the statements "I hurt you, i can't forgive myself, you deserve better", Etc, trying to break things off. I love her dearly, and want to be there for her, but i do NOT want to pressure her. I have completely forgiven her, but she insists we would not work out. Should I have hope and be there for her, or should i concede and agree to end things between us? I'm really looking for any help here, and I want the best for both of us. |

A friend of his once told me that I was his favorite employee. I was being harassed by another employee and went to this manager about it. He called me that night and told me he had my back, he'd take care of the situation, and that he and I were friends. I went away on vacation for a couple of weeks. When I came back, and he saw me for the first time, he looked really happy. He also paid for my food later that night (we work at a restaurant). He's told me I looked pretty or beautiful before. He also calls me sweetie all the time. He and I talk about our personal lives a lot. I know a lot about his family and his past. I always say goodbye to him after my shifts. He has said that I'm an old soul and jokingly said said to another coworker that I intimidate him like an older sister. He follows me on Facebook a lot. He and I like the same music, so we talk about bands a lot. He texted me at 1 a.m. the other day to send send me a couple links to some songs. He apologized for texting me so late, but I didn't mind. I've known him for 9 years altogether, he was basically my best friend from the time I was 4 to 8 1/2. We did Taekwondo and church together for those four years and then I stopped going to those specific places so we didn't really see much of each other. We still went to the same VBS and when we were about ten I noticed I might be starting to like him and here 3 1/2 years later I still do. After VBS I kind of ignore it with his mom and mine occasionally talking but then I go back and it comes back. It was way stronger this year and then he was at my summer camp too so I saw him there. My son is almost 19 and his girlfriend is 17 they've been together almost 5 years and I think she's a very sweet girl has a good heart she's not very religious but she's kept my son from steering off the right path and before her I was worried he was headed that way. I do like her and my son loves her more than anything and I don't want that to tempt him to do the wrong thing. They're very touchy-feely and I have walked in on them being a little more intimate than I would like and over the years they've stopped trying to hide it. He's living on his own now and I talked to her mom and apparently they've let him spend the night with them and she's been at his place all day with just him before. When she told me she said they sleep in separate rooms but "we were young once and we know they find ways" then she told me in a joking way not to worry though because as soon as she started dating her daughter has been taking BC so at least we won't be grandmas anytime soon. I said I wasn't comfortable with them having sex regardless and she thinks there is no way with the way they love each other and the way they touch each other in front of other people that they haven't already been intimate. We've gotten together three times regularly, we've admitted having feelings for each other, and just went on our first date, which I felt went pretty well. So four times in total. Thing is, if I'm not guiding the conversation by asking her questions or just myself talking, it's silent. I don't mind silence, but she looks visibly uncomfortable around silence. She looks like she wants to say something, but doesn't. She's also a bit physically shy. The last two times I've gotten a hug out of her at the end, and she says she doesn't hug much, but she seems like she doesn't know where to put her arms when she hugs. So it's me hugging her, and her having limp arms around my shoulders or back. Is there any way to subtly get her past this? Or is this something only she can get used to on her own? All of freshmen year everyone thought he liked me because he was constantly teasing me and calling me this nickname. Then the beginning of sophomore year, his friends were always telling me to go to his sports games and to talk to him more. That was the year that I started to date my first boyfriend named John. We dated for about four months and then broke up. The night after the break up, Chris texts me and asks me if I'm okay and he told me he'd always be there to talk. I said that we should definitely talk a little more just in general and he responded with "just a little?" then he did a sad emoji. I don't know if that even makes a difference but whatever I'm mentioning it haha. He kept teasing me the rest of the year. He texted me a couple times this summer asking me if I was at the same place he was at because he swore that he saw me. Then he would start asking how my summer is going. Well last night I saw him at the fair. He saw me before I saw him. His eyes got really wide and he started smiling. Then he ran up to me and gave me this huge hug. So there's a guy I've liked for about a year and I've noticed that he looks at me somewhat frequently that I've seen from the corner of my eye. It happens often actually. But we never talk and I personally avoid conversation with him and I've noticed he kinda does the same through recognizing the behaviour. Not a whole lot of time ago one of my friends was bugging me about my crush on him and whispering his name to me and unfortunately he was sitting behind me and according to him he smiled bc he over heard. I recently texted him bc one of my other friends took my phone and he pretended he didn't know me even though whabe almost the same exact schedule. He also seemed to want to end the conversation quickly. He continues to deny that he likes me but he looks/stares at me all the time and gets very quiet around me even when his friends are around. All of this confuses me bc he denies he likes me but some of his actions say he does and I don't know whether to continue testing him even though it would be painfully awkward and or what. Please help! |

Posted: 15 Aug 2015 07:08 PM PDT Hey, This may sound absurd and I may sound pretty shallow but I absolutely despise it when my boyfriend wastes his life on video games/pc games (whatever). He s an extremely talented and smart guy/student but I feel like video games have taken over him. He can t go a day without logging on to CS:GO/CO (idek) or some PC game. He spends his time cooped up in his room and forbids and dismisses all social life. I ve talked with him about this issue and he promised to stop playing (like everyday, not forever, not that mean lol). But just today, first day of junior year, and his friend walks up to me and we start talking. I don t think he meant it but he let it slip that my bf has been gaming with him everyday for like a month. So obviously I brought up the issue and he admitted it was true. By then I just walked away and went home. I don t know whether its that he went back to playing video games and wasting his life just when I thought he was withdrawing or the fact that he broke a promise to me which really cut deep. All I want is the best for him and he s such a caring and nice guy, everything that I want. Am I overreacting? Or do I have the right to be pissed? It just really bugs me and i m currently avoiding him. He s been blasting my phone with texts that he s sorry and stuff but it really hurts. What should I do? |

I saw the a**whole whom unfriended me and he glimpsed at me when we returned to class. I saw him looking at me with those eyes that he regretted to unfriend me but I just moved on and took it for nothing and went to my class. I forgive people easily, I'm just waiting for that squint to apologize because he has done way too much damage. Even seeing him sometimes (only twice seen him) in the halls makes me want to punch him in the face because he has done too much damage on me. We were bros but now all I want is not to ever see him in my life, unless he apologizes of what he did. So what does that mean by how he looked? FYI: I was not being a jerk and I just saw him looking at me right after the drill stopped and we were permitted to get back to class. Also, It seems like many people that I dislike were talking to me today. Felt special lol. :P |

Long story short: The first 3 months this guy was PERFECT, everything WAS PERFECT. after that everything changed....he has hit me at least 30 times, he has mentally abused me for months and after big fights he would end our relationship. Last time he did that was a couple weeks ago when he broke up with me 2 days after my birthday (he did not come back for a week and when he called and I did not answer he just came to my house) I have gotten him a ps4 with a couple games and controllers, shoes, sweats, shirts, ring, watch and for his birthday took 14 of his friends to horror night (not ******* cheap) sometimes when I got him the gifts I delayed giving it to him because of the way treated me and he said (I am not mad about the gifts it is you breaking you word by no giving it to me the day you say you would. we broke up last saturday and I deleted him off things but today he BLOCKED me off instagram when I had already deleted him. Why would he do that a week later? This has been the longest we have not talked to each other. We broke up because he wanted a car and my cousin was going to help but I kept delaying it because he treated me like **** so he just said he is over it. He has kicked me out, thrown my gifts on the street and when I have the right to be mad he makes me apologize for being mad.....every time I begin to feel sad I snap out of it because I know he will be back (like a gut feeling) Why does he always come back? |

Everything was fine till Saturday when she mistook a text that said 'ok..' and took it as attitude. I explained and later apologized but never got a text back after it and she didn't text the next day. She said she would be busy so I didn't text either. The next 3 days I tried texting and seeing what happened and no text back and she blocked me on Facebook and Instagram. I didn't hear it but my family had at where she worked last week and someone heard 1 of her friends say 'that's her' and the friend either said friend or boyfriend so she had at some point talked about me at work. What happened I mean I realize we're not going to date now after being ignored and blocked like that but I don't understand what happened and if I should even try texting her anymore after some days pass or just leave it alone? |

| Question: Why does this guy walk away fast every time he see me? Posted: 15 Aug 2015 07:01 PM PDT He is the manager at my local supermarket so I go there about 3-4 times a week to pick up little item but I see him maybe 2-3 times. I noticed that every time I walk in he would see me and start walking away fast or if he was talking to someone and see me he would start walking around. If I am standing on an aisle or walk toward his direction he would notice me and walk in a different direction. I don t know him or have ever talk to him before. This just started a couple of months ago when he notice me. Whats his deal? Should I just stop going when he works? He seem to only do this with me. He looks like he is just a couple of years older than me. I feel awkward to go to the market now. I m 24 btw |
