I appreciate these nice gestures. But I am wondering if I should distance myself because things like this make me like him more. He dates other girls though. He has never asked me out or shown romantic interest. Is it healthy for me to be friends with him? |

I know them both and I believe it too. They literally meet each other since March in their college class and ever since they've grown to be best of friends (which nothing really wrong with that) Anyways Alex told me Harris is usually shy and and is very soft spoken but with him he's more open. They like to text each other and stuff (almost every day). So I asked Alex how does that make Harris gay ? Don't all guy best friends do that ? Alex told me Harris asked him stuff like What time did you wake up this morning and all other weird small talk questions. Plus every class Alex wants to take next semester, Harris wants to take too. I don't talk to many people in my classes so I don't really have anyone to hang out with. I don't really like the lunchroom so I just go to the library and do homework or read. Somedays the library is being used so I do go to the lunchroom. The thing is I feel so lonely. Clubs haven't started so I haven't met many people yet. All my classes are full of people who have known eachother for years so they wan't to talk to their friends, not me. I didn't think much of it at first and I kind of liked it. But now it's kind of getting to me. Like I would try and make friends but there's no one to make friends with. When I actually knew my bestie, she never wanted to think about the girl, let alone the others she's with now. And now she's going to occasions with them? She was always an introvert, and at parties she socializes with everyone. Lately, more things are happening. Lots of people go through life with a copy-cat or two; but usually when they're around 12, right? Well we're way past that age--and suddenly, basically, the complete opposite girl of me who I knew is becoming ME. A friend from my old school goes to my new school also so we were able to talk before school started. She was going to introduce me to her friends and all that. Well, the first day of school was 2 days ago. And it turns out that those girls and I didn't really hit it off or mesh well if you know what I mean. Anyway, this whole situation is completely different than I expected. I was so happy to go to a new school and leave all my friend problems behind at my old school but I guess I had no reason to be excited. I had drama and friend problems at my old school, but at least I had friends. Here, I don't have any. I'm sitting at another table now. Since high school started she only really talks to me when her friend ships with others are rocky and says stuff like you're always their for me, you never leave my side blah blah Blah. Currently she has a new group of friends and every single night they go out partying and recently I was creeping on my older brothers Twitter and I saw that they have been talking and flirting just a little bit . Everyone from there will be rich with successful or famous parents, and I'll be like 'Hi I am poor'. Yeah, I'm quite poor when comparing to very rich people. I will travel to college every day, for two hours, unlike them - they will all rent in the city. My clothes aren't designer clothes, my pocket money will be low. I have a friend who's one year older than me, and she's in the same college, same situation like me. She's the only one who travels to the school, and her financial status flows in the air. Everyone is rich in her class, and one girl's father even owns a private plane. High school was so different. I'm coming from a small city, and it was felt in my school, I was on the same financial level like everyone, everybody wore clothes from cheap shops and nobody had successful parents. Nobody was judged. I'm scared that people in college might judge me - I know I shouldn't care about other people's opinions, but I don't want to feel like crap or to be that different. How can I change it? If somebody tells me something about my finances, I will probably fight with them and then nobody will talk to me. :( (In my country, in college you have a class of 30 people, and you spend 6 hours with them every day, it's very important to make friends there, I know that it's different in some countries). I'm excited and scared at the same time, I can't sleep because of this, what should I do? Thanks! I am not from the US. I never said I was. Any teacher that previously really liked me, if they don't greet me really excited or if they don't at least say hi in a happy tone, I think they hate me. My favorite teacher doesn't laugh when I try to be funny and he doesn't say hi as often and I think he hates me. I need help, this is just the tip of the iceberg. The reason I don't want to go to school is because of my quietness and cuz Im scared I'll get horrible teachers. Last year I got some teachers who didn't like me because I seemed 'rude' and too 'quiet' :( even though I'm nice and friendly and I tend to smile and make more eye contact now than before like when I was in middle school, they still think I'm just being stuck up rather than plain shy. I don't have friends at all so I spend break and lunch alone with my sister who also doesn't have friends anymore. It's weird cuz I like rock I see people with band shirts I like and even they don't want to be my friends. -.- I have an outgoing personality if I know someone though. Everyone in school knew each other for years so they don't let others be in their 'groups' unless you're cool or pretty. And I'm kinda 'new' cuz I didn't go to the neighboring middle schools around that area part of my city. I never had real friends but it's okay I guess.. I do try talking to people but they act like they don't hear me or just give me one word answers. They make fun of me behind my back and I see people staring at me in class or at lunch when I'm walking to my locker. In PE these girls tried to 'accidentally' hit me with a ball when I was sitting in he corner of the gym. It miss me hit someone else and they were like laughing at me for some reason I don't want to go :( |

I have no real life friends (I have a few on Xbox live who I don't know in real life) I have lived where I am for under 2 years and am moving on to my third school, I am autistic and cant seem to find the perfect school around the area. I left mainstream early year 7 as it was a stressful environment (300 kids screaming and shouting, bullies, few friends, teachers who didn't understand me/autism, kids who didn't understand me/autism). After 11 months I got into a school for kids like me, it was just as bad, there was only 4 other children there. 2 didn't talk, one just annoyed me and when someone I got along with came along the teachers split us up because we were laughing once in the trip car. From then on we wasted fuel by taking 2 cars even though we had a seven seat car we could all get into. I've been told this wasn't right of the staff. I left that school after a few months. I am now going into year 9 and have missed out on most of year 7 and 8, I am told I am intelligent but I think I am stupid. I am hopefully going to start a brand new school opening in my area, I want to be the first student. I am often asked about clubs, drama club, youth club etc. But I just don't wanna go to any clubs. I'm afraid of being stared at and it being awkward. I also cant find anything that interests me. Any ideas on friend making? I will write the rest in updates There isn't much more to say really, I just want some mates to hang about with. I wanna have a laugh and actually enjoy my teenage years (I forgot to mention I am 14 in January) I actually did go to the youth club twice, I found it boring and cramped. For the hour I was there both times I just played online games, its not worth paying a pound to go on the computer when I have two laptops and a computer at home. The children didnt seem interesting and already had social groups, none of which I saw myself fitting in. Should I give it another shot? |

AND THIS WAS THE FIRST TIME SHE TOLD ME. AFTER A YEAR... So I was really freaked out 1. That it was online 2. That she s never met him 3. THAT SHE NEVER TOLD ME... THIS WAS BEFORE THE 3 MONTH TRIP TO MICHIGAN... She apparently Skypes him EVERYDAY and has been doing so for a while. I was so mad and immediately told her that I didn t understand how you befriend someone you haven t even met before, then call them your boyfriend, then JUST NOW tell me after a full year of having known him. I know it s not a creeper bc she video messages Matt all of the time but HOW COULD YOU DO THAT. She says she didn t tell me because she was afraid of me not being her friend anymore and judging her. Posted: 21 Aug 2015 02:01 PM PDT First of all sorry for the long post, but I had to share it with someone after keeping it from everyone for 4 years. okay, my father was my closest person in my life when I was little, and he always taught me many new things, he always was there for me and the he was the only male person in my family (I have 3 sisters). He had some kind of a factory he bought few years ago, and when I finished 4th grade he told me that we are leaving the country and moving to Guatemala, and it turns out to be that he escaped because his factory owes 2 million dollar to the bank (I discovered it when we moved to Guatemala and I was 10). I was really upset that we had to move again, after I had new friends. (We moved earlier from our real house, that I lived there until 3rd grade, it was definitely the toughest move, and he sold this house so he could cover his debts, and I lost all of my friends, and then I had to discover we move again but to a different country!). But in Guatemala they speak Spanish and back then I barely spoke English, so I had to learn another language, and at the same time I went to school with much more study hours per day and unable to speak with anyone, but I was really happy to see my father again and we lived in a big house and we went to many trips and this country was stunning, I have many good memories from there. Posted: 21 Aug 2015 01:56 PM PDT ok so I have had a best friend for nearly a year now and she became my bestfriend in secondary school I know her since primary but she was pretending to be my cousin on ask.fm and made a fake snapchat page of her so my cousins mom got it traced down to her phone and iPad and I said it to her and she got really bad at me saying it wasn't her and Just got really bad at me so she then told this other girl that I hacked her ask.fm page when I didn't it was her that hacked it so she blamed it all on me and then I told this guy she was texting that she kissed another boy and he got really bad at her but then they started going out with eachother but I said sorry to her and she wouldn't accept my apology so I just left it at that but schools nearly starting and I miss her like terrible What should I do I really need help 🙏 |

Posted: 21 Aug 2015 01:51 PM PDT Can't afford overly expensive... 13 year old girl isn't going to happen lol (I don't know his taste, don't want to make him uncomfortable around family, and I don't know any 13 year old girls anyway!hahah) Birthday cake is obviously already going to happen. He's not crazy into sports anymore by the way. I know a couple of years ago he was into x-games and stuff but I don't think he's as into it now. |
| Question: Friends with teacher on Facebook? Posted: 21 Aug 2015 01:46 PM PDT So I'm in high school and I'm really close with one of my teachers. I'm shy and have some trouble making friends, but she's really taken me under her wing and helped me out through some hard times. We hang out outside of school occasionally, getting coffee or going to school football games. We have each other's phone numbers and text each other from time to time. Facebook has recommended her as someone I might know, but I don't know whether it's okay for me to friend her since it's more public. I get nervous about sending a friend request to anyone (like I said, I'm pretty shy), but I don't really know what to do. I don't want her to think it's weird or something and deny my request. Is it okay for me to be friends with her on Facebook? Is it okay? Most people know we're friends outside of school. |

I really want to make the next 11 days go fast. I know I won't have to think about making the 2 school days that I have go faster because I'll just be settling in, but just the 9 days that I have left of my holidays |

Posted: 21 Aug 2015 01:07 PM PDT Growing up, I barely had any close friends and my classmates bullied me for being ugly and weird. I would try to make friends, but I was ignored or treated badly. After high school, I started losing friends. People stated distancing themselves from me and some would switch up on me. I think this is why I wasn't very social my first three years of college, because I just got fed up with these failing friendships. It was until my senior year that I became social again. However, two females who did become my friends turned out fake. One was only using me for my money, and the other turned out to be a backstabber. I'm starting to think it's because I'm a very boring and strange person that nobody wants to talk to me. I don't drink and I don't like going to clubs because of how loud and obnoxious people can be. I mean, if people started ignoring your texts and started distancing themselves from you and/or backstabbed you, wouldn't you blame yourself for it because you're always the victim? |

I am just very dead set on becoming an orthodontist. I am planning to be finishing my generals at MCTC for 2 years. Then I don't know where to go from there. I know I will have a lot of schooling to to do. My questions are from there on out where should I go? School suggestions? Scholarships for seniors and freshman/sophomores in college that can help me pay for my college tuition. If there is any advice at all. Please be discreet and as specific as possible for I don't know what I'm doing. You or a family member or maybe even a friend that has experience in the dental field can you give me your input. She told me she was moving back to Ukraine and that she's never coming back because she needs to spend time with her family because of the war. This was a lie and she let me cry and believe it. I need revenge. Really good revenge like i dont care how elaborate or how much work it is. I want to either make her cry, or scare her A LOT. I want it to be much worse than what she did to me... I love their music and the band members are adorable, funny and so cute. I personally really enjoy them and they're my favorite band. But if I mention it to any of my friends they'll judge me and say that I've become brainwashed. They hate them so much and some of my friends think they're "Emo". I laugh. These dorky boys are not emo :D They're not even punk rock. They're cute cuddly bears oKAY. I want to tell them I love them though so I can introduce them to their music and convince them to listen to them. Any help? Luke, Calum, Michael and Ashton are not perfect. They make mistakes, they are human. Yes, they've done things that people find offensive such as being homophobic and sexist. It was a few years ago and bringing it up more will only make people more upset. So if you could please not hate and bring up those tweets and things from those time, It would be greatly appreciated. I am not blind and know what they did but everyone makes mistakes and can be offensive at times. Please do not hate on them for this, they have realized what they did was wrong so yeah. Just wanted to clear that up. |

When I was 18, we just started drifting a part and she started ignoring me for no reason. Now I m 21, and I ve been told by other family members that she made friends with these two-faced cheerleaders that keep pushing her to have sex ant parties, and currently, she is 16. She becoming a rude and condescending as her friends, and avoids me like the plauge for no actual reason... Maybe because I like video games, and her new preppy friends tell her that it s gross for girls to play video games cuz the smell and are "dikes" :/ (for the record I m straight with a bf I ve been with 3 years, and I shower daily) I mean suddenly she s become one of those backstabbing, superficial, mean girls, and going to parties doing who knows what... She was such a sweet girl growing up and we were very close... Pretty much best friends our whole life.. Is that true? Despite not knowing anyone going in, do you really make friends like that. I've been with the same set of friends (8 people, 4 of them my best friends) for 7 years of my life. Posted: 21 Aug 2015 11:39 AM PDT No friends nothing in school.. the grades I once had turned terrible because people bullied me and threatened me day and day....I lost my bff to the girls who wish me dead.. I'm constantly bullied because I'm foreign..my appearance is not the problem because I've been advised to become a supermodel by adults and other people alike.. School is starting in a week in a half.. I've got nobody to lead me to the school ceremony.. nobody cares of my entire existence.. two girls managed to turn everyone against me.. because they didn't like me..I get on good terms with the boys but people make rumors if they talk to me... I can't even go anywhere alone... without getting pushed by somebody or laughed at...nobody sits beside me for what reason I don't know although I'm really friendly and helpful and I keep good hygiene by showering everyday and brushing my teeth everyday.. I take good care of my appearance..especially my hair and face At the start of the year.. I did have friends but they turned out to be fake friends.. then I found my ex bff who was there for me.. but she never let me have any other friends and I became isolated..then she ditched me but it was my fault too I guess.. P.e is just horrible.. where I never have a partner and I'm forced to work with people who despise me and talk behind my back after... they don't even want to sit beside me in P.e and treat me like a total outcast although I've never done anything to them I just tried to be their friend... |
