This can be for siblings, parents, spouse, dating, etc. But even if it is an important topic, when you are feeling a certain way, do you ever feel immature or childish for expressing those feelings? Kind of like you are complaining for no reason? For me, I just recently felt those feelings when I told my friend how much I love her. We've had the conversation before and she told me she didn't mind talking about it (not sure if that is the truth). It seems wrong to suppress the feelings because it is like I just keep forcing them down, but then I feel silly after saying them and expressing them and like it was the wrong thing to do. When I confronted him about the relationship he denied it until he was blue in the face asking for proof. This is because he knew he deleted the profile 1 day after we saw the girl at a party and she recognized him. He says he activated it because he was bored at work and just wanted to mess with her to keep himself entertained. All the txts she sent show him being somewhat rude but i cant get ober the fact that he reactivated a dating account to engage w/ other wmen to feel somesoet of way. We've known each other for years and so he told me first. I'm very accepting of it and assured him that it would never change our friendship. So a week later he decided it was time to tell his conservative family. He one night met with all of his family and it went horribly. They basically kicked him out of the family calling him a "disgrace" and told him he was disgusting embarrassment to the family. That really upset my friend and he lost w lot of his confidence to tell people. I feel sooooo bad for him. He doesn't deserve this treatment at all, his family is pretty messed up to shun him. They told him never to come back to any family gathering. I talked to him today and basically invited him to be part of my family. I told him he can come to every family gathering of mine and spend Christmas or other holidays with my family. My family are all very liberal and accepting. They were totally fine with this and have met my friend many times and like him. My family actually had a dinner tonight and I invited him and he seemed really happy to be part of a family again. So my question is is there any other ways I can include him? What else can I do to make him feel welcomed into my family? I'm not preventing him from going with his family but they won't talk to him anymore and call him a "shame." I really want to make sure he feels like he is cared for. Thanks so much for help |

For a while the plan was that I was going to move to Europe with my folks, but lately I've decided it would be best for me to stay in the USA (for various reasons). Tonight a friend and I are going to have a discussion about renting a place together and possibly go apply in the next few weeks. The thing is I don't know how to tell my parents this, they really want me to come with them, but I know it wouldn't work for me. I'm old enough to move out (I'm 21), but I know if I tell them it'll likely start an argument (that happens around here), and they'll be devastated (they like having me around, and without my sister I'm all they got). My mom is supposed to be babysitting these 2 young boys but she always leaves them at home with me they are 3 and 6 the are very hyper and I can't do work because I have to watch them from 6:00 am to 6:30 pm. when their parents get home I try to do school work but then my younger sisters keep on making a lot of noise. I already asked my mom if I could try to do my work at the library but she said that I am to young to be left alone at the library by myself. my mom also makes me go to bed at 9:30pm and its hard to cram a whole days work in to 3 hours When I asked my mom if she could stop babysitting since she can't watch the she said I was being selfish? Am I? |

PD: por razones en las cuales no quiero entrar en detalles, no puede ser nada evidentemente romántico ni que haga pensar que me le voy a declarar, pero tampoco algo que sea algo dado por "un amigo mas" |
