So i have a new boyfriend, and everything for the most part is great. We dated for approx 2 months before moving in together (with other roommates who are our friends) we've known eachother for about a year before dating so it's not like we're strangers living together. I have been talking with an individual online for about 1 1/2 months. I video chat with him and talk with him about personal issues and problems and he does the same. There is a bit of a language barrier, he is Puerto Rican and I am not fluent in Spanish yet. Sometimes he may not understand what it is I'm trying to say, if I'm joking around or being sarcastic it can be confusing to him. I'm confused at times when he text something I don't understand but we are working around this and it seems to be fine. The issue I am having is I think he may not like me being on the phone apps. For example, the WhatsApp is something we both have.
