I personally thought we were going to be tight throughout highschool. But then they met other people... They invited the new girls into our group and started having a conversation with them. I tried to put in my two cents every so often, but everyone brushed me off. I tried to make new friends as well, but no one seems to like the things I do. I'm upset, and I don't know what to do. She was my only friend as a kid. She became my best friend later on. But I feel like she never considers me a best friend. I have never heard her even say it about me. Lately she makes excuses whenever I call her up and ask her if she wants to hang out, she tells me clear lies to avoid it. We hardly talk online, even though she's always texting someone she doesn't know irl, she will never text me. She pushes me away when she has serious problems, and there are things that other people tell me, that she never told me. I tell her things about my life, but she doesn't do the same. I know that not everything needs to be said, but I'd still like to help. She spends more time with her girlfriend and her girlfriends friends at school than she does with me anymore. 'Our' whole friend group has completely split up, what used to be 5 of us is now 3, and it seems like I'm more friends with people i've only known for a little amount of time than I am with her. |

I always bathe every night (since I don't have time in the morning), and in the mornings I always put on deodorant, brush my teeth, and wear clean clothes. It's not like one friend that could be messing with me that says I smell bad, its about a hand full of them. I have one friend named Kael that says I smell bad, and he doesn't know any of my other friends, so it's not like they're all messing with me as an inside joke or anything. She's the same friend mentioned in my pervious question pertaining to the acrimony towards women with ubigquitous assets. Now, she has her fair share of issues, being schizophrenic and all. But it worries me how she acts. She's lied on me to friends, called me names and called me an attention seeker for having a big behind. She gives me glares when I'm asked to do a demonstation of a dance at cheer. (I asked her to cheerleading with me in hopes of helping her social skills.) and she rolls her eyes when I get positive attention from anyone. I don't trust her at all, but I'm the only legitimate friend she has that accepts her and her mental disorder unconditionally. I don't want to hurt her feelings. I'm a junior(high school) and haven't gone to a SINGLE event like football games, dances, homecoming, etc ya know, the classic high school list of things you should do. Also, I really don't get invited anywhere. But the reason for all of this is because I have trouble socializing and get nervous so I just keep to myself. One reason I want to try it is because like everyone smokes and they are all cool with each other, so it gets you more friends. And proof of this is that I lied to someone saying I did, and BOOM I suddenly became a little popular out of nowhere. But the main reason I want to is because I've read and have had people personally tell me that after smoking weed, they became more social(which is the goal here) and I think that it would help me. I know it's bad but my uncle and my moms boyfriend have admitted to smoking weed in highschool so I don't think that it would be a big deal if I atleast try it. I have very easy access to it but what's holding me back is that I haven't done it before and I guess I'm just paranoid. But anyway what are your thoughts? Should I try it? I played football in high school and had couple friends,no girlfriend. Then graduation time came and one of my friends,who was like the most popular kid in high school,joined the marines. He served during Iraqi freedom and less than a year later he was KIA . You can't imagine how many people were at his funeral,I'd never seen so much people in our town,like thousands. It shocked me how many friends he had,fellow marines,high school friends,ex girlfriends.After 10 years he's still pretty famous in town,while my old high school buds have all gotten married. I work at the ancient history museum in our town and I feel so lonely. I like my job and coworkers but it seems nobody really likes me.2 Days ago it was my birthday and at work nobody wished me happy birthday,the only people who did were my parents and my neighbor. We hung out all the time and we were inseperable. Then, in seventh grade, y had a falling out with me and x. She just stopped talking to us and started hanging out with new, "better" friends. It seemed as if she wanted to cut all ties with us and pretend like we didn't even exist. It hurt a lot at first, but i eventually got over it, or so I thought. X and I still hung out all of seventh graade and all this summer. then the other day I found out that Y follows X on instagram. She was liking all of her photos and commenting things like "miss you so much! Cant wait to see you when school starts again! xoxoxo" It definitley hurt to know that Y still wanted to see X, but never reached out to me. She has my phone number and my email, so she could have easily contacted me. It just feels super personal now. I'm not at all jealous of X and I know we will still be best friends for a long time. I'm trying to get over Y, but I just can't. The year that we were best friends was one of the best years of my life. I still want to be friends. How do I get over this? |

Even in high school people hated him because he was nerdy but he would do really arrogant and stupid stuff and when he'd get his *** whooped he was convinced that he was the innocent victim. Even his own brother avoided him. I even almost hit him once back then because I let him borrow some CDs and he didn't return them until I went to his house and they were all scratched and stuff. Now he's 22 and I'm 21. He's honestly going nowhere in life. He still lives at home, never had a job and no college. But just being around him is irritating from some of the **** he says. Like he said it was creepy that I'm dating a 19 year old. And It took the life out of me not to slap him around because he kept rambling about it. This dude has never even kissed a girl. And he was trying to give me advice I didn't even ask for. Or he will ramble about how his brothers are jerks because they nag him about getting a job and moving out. And how he's still young so it's not a big deal. It's like he lives in a fantasy world. But I can't help but to feel bad for him. I tried getting him a job. He went to the interview but he skipped the first day because he wanted to go to a concert. But apparently they are the jerks for firing him because they didn't understand how he's always wanted to see that band. I don't wanna cut him off cause I feel like he can't help it. She has all the qualifications: she is in the top 3% of her class and has exceptional speaking skills (went to Nationals for a debate&speech tournament). One thing she lacks is a large group of friends. Most girls in her class are shallow, so she's mostly friends with a few guys and my friends (I'm a year older than her). When she discovered that the officer positions were dictated by popular vote, she was worried. But when she delivered her speech, she still held her confidence. She just got the call though that she didn't make it because she didn't get a "popular vote". She has been extremely depressed lately because she is aware that she doesn't have many close friends since we moved, and this situation just ignited her distressed feelings even more. I don't want to be cliche but I also want to comfort her the best I can. TLDR: My sister is lonely and has no friends, so she's extremely distressed and suicidal right now (this is no joke). What can I do/say to her her? |

The people that seem to love to micro manage my every move is my boss, and friends. I don't know if I come off helpless or what ... Recently, I was telling one of my friends about how drained and tired I was and she went on a whole spiel about how I need to sleep more and eat more and should see a doctor... Not in a loving, friendly way either, just ordering me almost as if i have no insight or am stupid. I never asked for advice and don't know why she wanted to act like my mom. As for my boss, I brought up the fact that I'll be commuting quite a bit from school to work and she says well you don't pay for your gas so it doesn't matter....completely threw me off because for one thing, I have a job (WITH YOU) why wouldn't i pay for my own gas, and another thing this just shows how helpless/clueless/irresponsible people think I am. My gf explained that she and her girl went to a dudes house after the bar which is only 2 blk away from the bar. I get to the address my gf gave me. I saw three strangers and my gf and her friend sitting outside a house with them. It then turns out that her friend wanted to stay with the strangers so we left her. As me and my gf was walking back my car one of the dude's screams out loud "I WILL TXT YOU". I didn't say nothing because idk wtf was going on. I then got into it with my gf in the car and checked her. I told her if she wanted to be with me she'd have to cut off all her slutty moves. Before you talk smack on me. She also admitted to playing strangers at bars for free drinks. She also admitted to stealing cell phones/wallets from strangers at bars. Her and I used to hang out a lot before. But then she always started to complain about how she hates hanging out with just me alone, she wishes she had a big group of friends. But this summer I met a group of people who are really interesting and fun. When I met up with A we were discussing everything going on in our lives. But the thing is that when she said that i felt really sick and uncomfortable and I don't want her hanging out with my new friends. She never introduces me to any of her friends. And plus I sort of want them all to myself. I feel selfish but at the same time I know I would get jealous if she gets too close to them because I consider them MY friends. And it's just weird for me to see her with them. And I know she will make them cliquey and will think she is better than me and try to do stuff without me. Am I wrong? What should I do? Posted: 31 Aug 2015 02:04 PM PDT im 16 now and im starting to get mad.. my mom wont let me do driver education bc she does not want me to drive... everyone at my school has their license and goes off campus during lunch time at school and drives home and to school on their own.. my schools lunch is an hour long and we have to stay in class for the first half and in one of my class, im alone with this other girl.. and it gets awkward... and also i had to go to someones house (and i didnt know the person very well) for a project and when it was done, everyone left in their own cars and drove home.. but i still have to wait for my parents to pick me up.. and it was so awkawrd sitting at someones house like that.. and im tired of waiting for my parents and following them around... i wish i can have my own car and go to the mall and go off campus and drive to places with my friends without having my parents follow me... im a junior and i want to get my license before i graduate high school.. but my mom is not letting me bc im too "young" and when i tell them that all my friend drives, they say im to young to drive anyway (because i skipped a grade bc my bday is in the summer and im supposed to be a sophmore..) but freshmen takes drivers education.. and i really need to apply for dirvers education now before it gets fulll!!! and she also says i cant take it bc i should focus on school work... and i want to drive to the library everyday after school to study without having my parents to drop me off and pick me up at a certain time... -,- |

The school is the only school I had ever been to that has students who are all so friendly and Dow to earth. It wasn't your cliché high school. So suddenly during this summer break my dad got a promotion where he works and he has to move to another city. So he decided we'd all move with him and change schools and everything. He even got me an admission to a new private high school. And from what I heard it was the kind of high school which had snobby kids and whatnot. So now I'm just really sad and angry because I don't wanna move to a new school. I have a lot of relatives in the current city that I'm in and I'll be willing to go live with them instead of moving with my family. And especially because I've got only two years remaining to graduate and I just really like the people in my school and I don't wanna leave all of my friends. What do I do? |
| Question: How to deal with discouragement? Posted: 31 Aug 2015 01:49 PM PDT I just started playing soccer and joined a club that's supposed to be for beginners and experts. There's a really skilled guy on my team and today my friend told me that that guy was telling everyone that I suck and will ruin his team. I barely even know him. I joined with the intention of learning how to play the sport, but now no one passes to me because that guy is "popular" and my stupid teammates literally hail him as king. I've tried talking to the head coach but I don't want the "popular" guy spreading rumors about me. This is really discouraging because a year ago I tried learning soccer but after I messed up a warmup, my coach asked me in front of everyone why I was still playing soccer. Does this always happen when you're new to a sport or is it just bad luck running into bullies? |

We kept having fights, at school, when she wonders off and we go looking for her, she always shouts at me for losing her, she doesn't even mention the other five people. She's really possessive too, she sometimes asks me if I have met up with this girl who we're friends with, and when I say no, she usually says "good" and meets up with her by herself? She wants to meet up with me by myself but because she's so mean I usually invite my other friends (who she's friends with) but she hates it. Yesterday, she sent me this long text about how she just wants to meet up with me and how it was stupid I liked anime. We also have this bucket list and she says there is stuff on there she doesn't want to do, but there is stuff on there I don't want to do either? Anyway, I decided to stand up for myself and we had this big argument, I said sorry (even though I felt I don't really need to) and she didn't reply, yet she was active in Instagram and was crossing the road nee my house? She also cancelled on me after the argument for this thing we were doing, and I only went to cheer up my friend who was feeling really depressed recently, what do I do?we are in the same friend group and no one stands up to her. What exactly defines a "badboy"? Sidenote: I'm constantly in trouble or being investigated for things people believe I've done due to my history. My reputation only really "lives" with people that know me or who have been on the receiving end of my actions. Yet people who dont know or who just met me refuse to believe what they hear due to my appearance, I look like I'm in my mid-teens and have a rather high pitched, and what's been described as , an innocent voice. I'm somewhat petite, 5'4ft and 115lbs, am quiet around people i dont really know and wear glasses. Yet I've been told that at times I give others a look at hints a cruel side to me, that is alluring and makes others wanna get to know me.... How is that so, I mean what kind of look am i giving and can this quick glance really be attractive to people? |

Posted: 31 Aug 2015 01:03 PM PDT are you ever end up into a situation where you don t wanna talk and hang out with your friends anymore because you just find out that their attitude towards you it wasn t only due to immaturity but also to a huge lack of respect, so you decided to stop go out and talk with them , but at great price: feeling alone. Right now i ve got one, only one real friend that accept me the way i am( often shy and quite silent and a bit insecure person). I know it s weird, since i m 20 years old. All the other people i know are in the other group of friends, and a lot of them disrespect me as a person, and also everybody in that group try to act hard to appear as someone they aren t, with the fear of being judged for what they really are. I Know this is a quite stupid situation, but i really don t like to hang out with people that always try to judge you for whatever you say or do.But the things that makes me sad is that i discovered this after some year that i spent with them, probably because people often change while growing up, and now i still would like to be their friends, but i really know that friendship is not about pointing finger one to another and judge, instead is accepting and respect the other one. This truth hurts, and i ve to leave these people behind and forget them, but is hard to do it. As i said right now i ve got only one real friend, and most of the time i m alone.I m not necessarily looking for help, but i d appreciate your story if u ever felt like me thanks. |

N is 18 and I've been best friends with her for 2-3 years now and I'm best friends with her siblings too and I know her entire family. So anyway, N has a friend let's call her C and C is a big party girl. So I met C and I really like her until I started getting jealous and angry that she was hanging a lot with N because I felt replaced. Then N's sister who we will call T started texting me about how C is a bad influence on N. I agreed and then we both started to talk crap about C, I only did it because I was jealous of C and I actually like her. Recently N's family has been fighting a lot since N is always hanging with C going to parties. T told me a lot of false info that actually wasn't true. However I still talked crap about C to T. Then T told her sister N all this fake **** that I never said. Both of them hate me now and they think I'm fake. N says she can never trust me again since I told her sister all about her when I didn't, I just sent her sister a screenshot of some texts with N about her ex. (It was just about how nothing was helping her break up and we were talking about N's break up anyway and that's probably the reason she started to party) now N says she can never trust me again. N also blamed me for "putting crap into her sister's head" about C and that I'm the one who caused all her family fights recently. What do I do? How do I fix this? He had attacked her and was trying to force himself in her mouth, but she bit down hard. Over 90 percent of his penis was removed, and it could not be reattached. The article didn't give names, but said the woman was 20 years old, and the man 44 years old (who apparently had a history of sex offenses). I was reading some comments online about it by guys, and they felt sorry for the rapist! They said he was wrong, but also that the girl went too far. They thought its unfair that he can't "bust a nut" now (and that she deprived him future sexual pleasure, and he "has to pee, and feel, like a girl now"). 1.
