His best friend said he never saw any signs and that he never came to talk to him about anything like that. But heres my experience with him. I would usually see him and he'd be drunk and people would always tell me he'd get super drunk and do stupid stuff. But then i started taking walks just to clear my mind. I would always run into him in the most random places. This happened multiple times and each time he seemed more mature. He stopped drinking and doing drugs got a job and he was always more positive. The last time i saw him (before i went to basic) he said he was going to start school for coding and start making websites on the side. He also was rapping with a friend and he had many people who liked him. That last day we just went out and talked to girls and chilled. I looked at his facebook and all his post were normal except one the day it happened. It was a gibberish sentence that made no sense. |

I also have such low confidence nd I'm so awkward arghhhhh my family is supportive but sometimes they can be really mean to me. my sister is always insulting me. I have a few good friends and she's always trying to break up our friendship. my mom doesn't even do anything nd then when I say something back to my sister like "stop" my mom gets mad at me. my dad also likes my sister more than me. Posted: 15 Aug 2015 04:56 PM PDT So, i am a 16 year old girl and i told my parents i was sleeping over at my friends house. my mom knew my friends mom really well so she didn't need to check in, But we actually all (all my friends who range between 16 and 21) went and hung out down town and ended up hanging out in the graveyard (Playing games, and drinking) for the rest of the night. In the morning i went to my best friends apartment (He's 20 so he has his own apartment) We ended up doing this for like 3 nights in a row, plus we now do it about every week this summer. I feel like my mom wouldn't be that mad because shes chill and all, but would you be mad if i were ur kid? |

She chose me to go with her, but I have my reservations. Even though I'm 21, I have never traveled without parents before, or even just been on a plane by myself. I am kind of nervous about it and so are my parents. It would be just the two of us on our own and even though I know Disney very well, I have never had to navigate on my own. My parents have been encouraging me to branch out, but is this even something to consider? She thinks it's ridiculous that my parents and I are even concerned because she has been taking trips on her own since high school. I think we would have a lot of fun, but I can't help but feel uneasy about us traveling alone at 21 years old. Am I worrying about nothing? |

I got really close to this one girl, but then she has other friends too that are better than me, so she'd hang out with them more. I am in a friend group of about 15 people, at lunch I'd always sit on the edge, and I would get invited to parties and stuff, but I always felt left out because although I did talk to them, I felt like they didn't wanna be around me (they wanted to be with their closer friends). And throughout all of the summer, I haven't been invited to hang out when I see group pictures of them on Instagram and Facebook. This just makes me feel really bad about myself and makes me feel like nobody. It might seem stupid to you that I care this much about having friends but it really sucks when u don't have any. We were going to go eat at Urth Caffe, and go see LACMA lights. I told her yes, and my excitement was obvious. Last night she went to the OC fair and stayed over her friends house. She came back this morning but she came with her friends. They went to her room and they were getting dressed but I didn't think much of it. I thought they might be going to grab a bite. They came down the stairs and as she was walking out the door with them, she shouted "Hey Mom, my friends and I are going to LA. I'll be back later tonight" and then she left. The whole time she was here, she didn't say one thing to me about LA. She only asked me to help her zip her dress up and that was it. Do I have the right to be mad or am I just over reacting? Looking back, I know why he did: Because I started to grow/change. I became more confident, and would be bolder and funner. Ed was used to the "quieter" me, so he would try to put me in my place. Ed still doesn't know why I stopped talking to him, and he still (THINKS) he likes me as a friend. But now I get it: He likes the IDEA of me, not the reality. Since I remember, she has always been convinced that she is the best in everything and all that kind of stuff. And basically, everytime I do something she always says "You're just copying me". That gets really annoying because, seriously, I'M NOT. For example, in one of this days of school we had to do something where we had to be "creative" and "have ideas", and we, by chance and maybe because we're really close, had the same idea and she accused me of copying her when I had not yet seen what she did. And after I told her the truth she did not believe me. There are lot's of other examples. I need help because I don't know how to prove her that I'm not copying her, I know it can be frustrating for people to think they're being copyed, and in many times she has mentioned how much she hates being copyed but it's also frustrating for me! I'm a very creative person and I value originality and I can't stand up for myself when I'm with her (it only happens with her, with other people I can easly stand up for myself). Le marco para saludarlo y pregutnarle que paso, y me dice que pasar en la tarde nonche por mi sin decirme una hora en especial (osea que en su mente solo queria salir a divertirse) pero la computadora no le importo.... yo la verdad me moleste y le dije de forma tranquila.. sabes que? mejor pues ya no pases.. porque sera muy tarde y no creo que haya lugares para arreglar mi pc... Entonces me dijo que pasaria mas temprano que no me enojara...Le dije que mejor no, que yo iba sola, gracias... My whole life I've been into fashion, sports, (populars are sporty in my grade) and normal popular stuff, but I'm super nice, not mean and popular/manipulative! Not to brag, people say I'm pretty and beautiful, especially friends and family, and everyone assumes only popular people are beautiful! So unfair! Also in my grade, people only like fashion if they're popular, but most schools aren't like that. I have one popular friend who does track and cross county with me, but that's not the reason why! Posted: 15 Aug 2015 01:18 PM PDT i was a freshman in high school and my friends and i had just got back from the skatepark. they had some wax and a g pen but i didnt know the difference between it and green. anyways my frien took advantage of that and told me to take 6 big fat hits. i was coughing for like 10 minutes and i layed down on the ground because we were smoking at a spot by his house. i remember leaving the spot and walking across these rocks over a little stream and everything started to echo. all the laughs seemed to bounce off of everything and i dont remember anything after that except opening my eyes to my friends laughing in front of me. i felt like i was clay like in that one episode of family guy lmao. i immediately started to freak out and started thinking i was dying or tripping the f out which i was haha. i kept telling my friends to calm me down and tell me i was okay but my friend being the jerk he was said otherwise. he told me that wed just smoked laced wax called "herojuanna" and i was on some heroin. i thought i was gonna wake up again in a hospital and kept thinking of my parents. he eventually told me i was just faded af but it still didnt help the clay vision. the high lasted the rest of the day and it sucked ***. we went swimming right after so i told my parents that why my eyes were red but underwater was trippy as hell. it was a good high ;) |

So I'm in Italian 3, there is only one teacher and about 50 kids taking Italian 3. So there are two classes. Last year I had so many friends, and the year before as well. Now, I'm in a class with mostly kids I haven't worked with before who ALL know each other. I have a few acquaintances who I made small talk with but they didn't seem to want to talk to me /: we always have to choose our partners and groups and you literally are not allowed to work alone. Most of the kids are popular in the class and don't like having to work with the leftover kid. And they're rather blatant about that. I love the language, but there's no possible way I can switch to Another class period because it's such a full subject. I'm also the student aide for Italian 2 a different period, so I'd feel terrible if I dropped Italian 3. It's been a week since school started and it's already making me anxious and I dread the class. Should I drop Italian? I really have tried making friends but they don't like me /: please help |

I ask if she wants to come to my place and she says "idk" and never answers me back. So im like okay... I go on snapchat and see she has new pictures on her story. She has all of our friends over and she never msntioned it one time to me. In fact the reason im asking you guys right now is because this is happening right now. I asked her if she wanted to hang out because we havnt in a long time and she says I dont know Ill have to ask.. well about 6 or 7 hours later I text her back and say hey did you ask? and she reads the text and doesnt answer. I go on snapchat again and see she has our friends tori, payton and alicya over. This isnt just a one time thing either its been happening all summer. Shes been having these fun parties and stuff when weve only hung out only once while her and our othwr friends are making memories and having such a fun time. I take this very personaly and it makes me really sad and sometimes just really pissed off. I get really emotional because shes really my only friend that lives near me that I can actually see. I need to know why is she doing this? am I doing anything wrong? Why does she prefer our other friends over me? |

I m not even entirely white! I am very musical, a marching band geek, I can remember little things people who aren t even friends with me share about themselves. I draw realistic portraits but also can do comics, I can listen to Hans Zimmer but also top forty songs. I can write a rap very quickly and tell funny stories. I ll do my best to cheer somebody up. I can list my favorite cod multiplayer maps but also my favorite makeup products. Most of my friends are nerdy straight guys.But if I post a selfie, I ll just receive hate about looking stuck up and mean, and I think that s wrong. I was called ugly a lot when I was younger and now that my appearance has improved slightly, I still get rude comments. This issue is really common and similar to makeup shaming. How do I handle this? |

I guess I probably should be embarrassed about that but I'm an only child so they're always free to take m anywhere I want to go. my friends and I usually just go to football games, to one another's houses, the movies, out to dinner, things like that. we have a lot of parties, but none of them having drinking. my group has about 15-20 people in it. do I have a boring high school social life? |

| Question: I feel like a loner at church? Posted: 15 Aug 2015 12:21 PM PDT I was really lazy at my former church and didn't come to service a lot, so gradually I was kinda forgotten at it. I came back after weeks of not going, and my old friends just said hi to me and ignored me after. It was a pretty big church with a large community, but I still managed to become alone there. I really liked the sermons there, but I hated sitting by myself all the time. So I decided to go to a new church that's much smaller since I felt like a smaller, tighter community would accept me more. At that place, I entered the youth group the same time as A, who I quickly became friends with. However, everyone else became friends with A as well while I was generally pushed aside and people didn't care to get to know me well. So my only friend at church was A. But now A is supposed to move to another state at the end of this month, and after she moves, I'm not sure if I want to stay. I just feel bad about myself because A managed to become friends with everyone so quickly, while I still am acquaintances with everyone. To make it worse, a kid just recently joined our church and they're already friends with everyone too. I'm just shy and awkward, so it's hard for me to make friends with people. Should I switch churches or something? I've visited so many churches, but I still haven't found one where I feel like I fit into and am in a community who worships God. |

I asked my friend to contact him and tell him I am interested. He contacted me through email and sent me pics of the apartment and how much rent is. Honestly, the rent is so cheap and is really close to my lectures. I told him that I'll be flying in on the 1st of this month so I can settle down and get to know my surroundings. When I arrived and knocked on the door, he thought I was going to be a guy (I have a unisex name) and he seemed kind of moody but I signed the lease agreement and got some rules and i settled in. Anyways, its been 2 weeks and all he has been rude to me and according to my friend he is a nice person. I've baked cookies and brownies for him, I've followed the rules we have but he seems off. I told him that all I need is a place to sleep at the end of the day and I don't care if he brings girls over. |

One of those three best girl friends switched high schools, and suddenly I feel like I don't have any friends anymore. My other girl best friend started dating one of my guy best friends, so they're busy with that. I want to get to know more girls at my school and be friends with them, but I don't know how because I've been hanging out with the same people since the sixth grade (I'm a junior now). Any advice? |
