Question: What is wrong with my mother? i'm convinced she's got some sort of mental disorder? Posted: 16 Aug 2015 10:52 PM PDT So I let her borrow my charger to charger her ipad since she doesn't have one. and that's the only charger I have. so right before i'm getting ready to go to sleep I tell her " I need my charger so I can charge my phone. I have to wake up early for work and I use my alarm clock on my phone" and she pretends like she doesn't know where it is. then i'm like " I know you hid my charger. please give it to me" and so she was like " get out my room before I knock you out" and i'm thinking to myself " are you seriously threatening me right now. I just want my charger that I paid for with my own money. Then she locks the door and she locks the door to my brother's room as well which made me believe she might have hid my charger in there as well |
Question: How should I propose? Posted: 16 Aug 2015 10:45 PM PDT Talking to my uncle a few days ago, he revealed that family is making bets on whether I get engaged when we come home for a wedding and vacation. Yes, there has been a family tradition of getting engaged in a certain spot (which my gf doesn't know about) but it wouldn't be a surprise to her. We're supposed to go skydiving this weekend I think and even if not, we will be doing a lot of fun stuff, so would it make sense to just get a whatever-ring to pop the question maybe when we go skydiving or whatnot and then give her the real ring when we go home to kind of keep a good story while at the same time maintaining the tradition? |

Question: Eternity rose for 25th wedding anniversary? Posted: 16 Aug 2015 09:00 PM PDT With my 25th anniversary coming up, I am looking for a nice gift for my wife. I came across a sight that sells a real rose preserved in pure silver. for $169. Is anyone familiar with this? And what do you think of the idea? https://www.eternityrose.com/gifts-for-her-silver-dipped-rose |
Question: Am I a bad daughter for wanting my step father to give me away at my wedding? Posted: 16 Aug 2015 08:02 PM PDT So I'm getting married soon and I want my step father to give me away. My father wasn't really in my life when I grew up (I'm 25 now). My step father was there for me when I grew up. He drove me to school, helped me out, paid for college, was there for me when I needed him. My father was never really there for me. But am I a bad daughter for wanting my step dad to give me away. Should I feel guilty? |

Posted: 16 Aug 2015 02:37 PM PDT My friends have been able to get married and have nice simple weddings. They already have houses set up for them. And my boyfriend and I are renting a space from a landlord. I feel like everyone else gets everything they want. I hate whiners, but I suppose I am one here. I just want to vent. They are so spoiled and it irritates me. By the way, I am not a bridezilla. I just want a wedding at city hall. |

Question: Winter wedding honeymoon ideas. Where to go? What to do? Posted: 16 Aug 2015 01:01 PM PDT Okay, so me and my fiancé are getting married December 5th (so its cold) also, he works for a gas company and he can t take a whole lot of extra time off that time of the year, so the honey moon is only gonna be the 6th, 7th and 8th. ANY ideas on where we could go that would still have fun things to do?? Also we live in North Carolina if that helps! |
Question: Which church should I have my wedding at? Posted: 16 Aug 2015 09:03 AM PDT The one church is where my parents got married and the other is closer to my parents house. Which one should I choose? The one where my parents got married has red carpeting and the other church has low lighting. |
Question: Things I need to ask her hand? Posted: 16 Aug 2015 08:49 AM PDT Hi everyone, I want to ask my girlfriend s hand and we already know we will get married but she don t know yet that I am actually going to ask her hand soon so I am trying to surprise her in a way , but my problem is that I don t know what kind of a ring exactly should I buy for her is there a certain kind for that ring or I can buy her something I know she will like ? Also what else do I need ? Do I have to be wearing a suit ? Is that ring I am going to buy should it have a pair for me also ? Or that ring is at the wedding day ? I am so confused All what I know is that I want to surprise her and I know where I am going to say it and when, I don t know everything else. Thank you |

Posted: 16 Aug 2015 04:33 AM PDT Hey so I have 5 bridesmaids and I want to get them something they will actually like. I thought about putting a basket together or getting them pearl jewelry since that's the theme of the wedding. But I'd rather get them something that they actually like even in jewelry then get something just because it goes with my wedding. So suggestions? 50 dollars is max. I was thinking even getting two gifts like jewelry and a small gift basket. So other suggestions, or what would you want in the gift basket? And also does anyone have any experience with etsy, is their stuff cheap quality? Getting gift cards is something I will definitely consider. To be honest though this may be one of my favorite wedding planning tasks. I love the idea of getting something everyone will like and even more so putting it together (actually this may be my favorite part). I know that part can become super stressful so I will keep the gift card in mind. |
Question: My sisters called me a bridezilla but I don't think I was acting like one.? Posted: 16 Aug 2015 01:47 AM PDT When I clicked "submit" somehow the rest of my question got cut off - I felt like I was very understanding towards my sisters and laid back about a lot of things that happened. All my sisters could say was that I didn't hang out with them enough before the wedding (because I was busy planning, etc.). A week after the wedding and my sisters are still not moving past this even though I have sat down and talked to them/apologized for not spending more time with them. How do I move past this? |
Question: What music should we play at our wedding? Posted: 16 Aug 2015 01:36 AM PDT Hi, getting married in a private Catholic Church on a South Texas Ranch this November. Very conservative people. We are having our reception dinner near a river/creek- very beautiful. Nearby is a giant gazebo in which we'll have the dancing. (only 25 people including us) are coming. What music do we play? We can't decide. Bride likes country, Latin, Top 40, or quiet classical. Groom couldnt care less but likes to listen to Electronic dance music. Both bride and groom were thinking of something classical with a bit of modern. Song suggestions would be appreciated |
