Question: Today has been so hard...? Posted: 31 Aug 2015 02:54 PM PDT Hello everyone. Today I'm here because I don't have much else. Today has been a horrible day and I really just need some encouragement today. |
Question: How to get my parents to let me continue taking piano lessons???!?!? Posted: 31 Aug 2015 02:51 PM PDT |
Question: Why is my roommate so obsessed with me? Posted: 31 Aug 2015 02:42 PM PDT She would always text me to ask where I am on the hour. And if I didn't answer her after five minutes or so, she would text me "MEGAN!!". She always cooks food for me and washes my dishes, and when I told her it's okay that she doesn't do this stuff for me, she got offended. And she always wants to hang out with me and go to restaurants somewhere, especially when I dress up one day or something. I'm going to move out in two weeks, because I don't feel comfortable... But what should I do? My roommate also told me before that she has ADHD, depression, anxiety, and schizophrenia. If that factors into it... Thanks Patterson. I literally thought I was the only one who thought her list of mental problems weren't true... |
Question: Cousin who wets the bed only in strange locations. Why? Posted: 31 Aug 2015 02:29 PM PDT He just turned 11 and earlier this year he was visiting with his family woke me up to tell me he had an accident. Sure enough he did and I helped him with it. I asked if this ever happened before and he said not in a while. I think he asked me because he trusted me more than our parents or maybe didn't want them to get mad at him. Anyway I recently saw him again and asked him if he still had accidents and he said he did just once. But then he said it was actually twice in the same night. He woke up wet and got changed, then went back to sleep and peed again! The odd thing (besides that) was he was again in a different house, this time the one his family is moving into. So I wondered if maybe sleeping in a strange place can cause someone to wet the bed? Even if that isn't the reason, how could he wet TWICE in the same night? If you empty your bladder and wake up, and don't drink any more, then where does all the pee come from to wet the bed a second time? Or is it common for bedwetters to pee more than once a night and I just don't know about this? Since he is not really a bedwetter, that it happened twice the same night seems VERY unusual. |
Question: Guys what is gonna be your response if you get a message from someone says I need you? Posted: 31 Aug 2015 02:23 PM PDT He was my best friend well he still for me, but we are not in touch for some reasons and I got a message from him says I NEED YOU, what to answer please help |
Question: Why do people equate napping with laziness? Posted: 31 Aug 2015 01:36 PM PDT Why do so many people think that napping is lazy and or a waste of time? I have a busy life, I workout, go to work, go to school, etc and naps are great for me! Sometimes I text people "sorry was napping" and they ask if I have depression, whats wrong and asking why Im not doing homework or other things. So why is napping so bad?? |
Question: Why are my neighbours mad? Posted: 31 Aug 2015 01:33 PM PDT I am surrounded by dogs, dogs are everywhere, they lick themselves, bark all the time, eat up my pet frog, bite my sister. So two months ago, i started throwing fire crackers at the dogs from my window. I bought a dog whistle, and i stand outside of dog peoples houses at night and blow, i blow until the dogs bark as hell and all the lights in the house are on, then i go the next dog house and do the same. Now my neighbours found out that it was me, and they want my family to move out, but it's not my animals that bite people and kill other pets. Why are they mad? |
Question: Why is my mom so strict? Please someone give me some advice on what I do or say??!!!? Posted: 31 Aug 2015 01:07 PM PDT Okay, so I'm 15, and want to be treated like my age, however my mum treas me like I'm 5. My bed time is at 8pm school nights and reading til 9 pm .bed ones on a weekend is 10pm , ad I'm only allowed to watch TV till the watershed. And not allowed to watch most 15 rated TV shows. Fair enough she wants me to do well and wants me to read for 1 hour 5 nights a week, fair enough and I'm happy to do so but at 8pmive tried to reason with her and say I will go to be at 8.30 and lights off at 930 which is still early but a better deal than 8,however she had non or It and when she didn't listen and kept on going on and saying I didn't feel tiers at 8 she went in massive mood with me told me I was being rude and took my allowance off me. Even in summer holidays she still keeps to the routine of 8pm weekdays and 10 pm weekends and has no lea way and gets angry Bed if I go and read in bed at 8-15 , no exaggeration!!!! Also she complains that I don't do anything around the house and hrs angry that se does everything and I never help out,but when I so offer to do the washing up or Hoover or do the ironing she says no and if I'm already doing it she'll just tell me off and do it herself? Can anyone explain? Also is very stict on why I tell other people and am almost told what I can say about family to other people an.Is wry annoying. She shouts my name all the time and gets fed up constantly. And when I ever try to talk to her,she just shouts and says I'm not interested in what you've for to say |
Question: Do you think it's to late for me to work things out with my ex husband? Posted: 31 Aug 2015 12:40 PM PDT am a complete fool. I left my ex husband a few months back because I didn't believe in him and I thought I could do better. I didn't want to admit to myself but at the time I was man crazy and it just so happen to have a job or car at the time. I was with my ex because it was something I was use too not because I loved him. At one point I did but living with the hurt he put me through the love just died eventually, now I want him back and realizing the feelings I still have for him. He has COMPLETELY change. He now have a traveling job where he gets paid way more that he has ever been paid since he and I have been together, he just got him a camera and he have dropped 60 or so pounds. He just seem very very different. I want to acknowledge him and see where things go but I'm scared. I told him some really harsh things when I left him and that I didn't love him. I practical left the man when he had nothing |
Question: Ladies, huge issue in bed (help)? Posted: 31 Aug 2015 12:26 PM PDT I am a good looking guy, and do get attention from girls. But as soon as things get intimate, it all seems to go badly. I will just openly say here that I was born with a birth defect, that makes me very small 'below the belt'. Like, less than two inches small! & under 2 inches is the max, usually its smaller (+ I'm done growing). Four girls have seen it, and ALL of them have laughed at my size (then later apologized). And they were all nice girls! I am still good friends with one of them, who stopped sex after just one time. I still find her very attractive, but since she found out about my manhood she treats me way more like a girlfriend than a guy (this happened with the other girls too). I mean I love just being around her, but yesterday she was telling me about her new boyfriend and how she "loves" his big size. I admit I'm secretly jealous, and wish she didn't treat me so girly. She even has me do her hair & nails. I don't say this for sympathy though, cause I really just wanna know the truth about this. So girls, please..... ANSWER ALL THESE QUESTIONS HONESTLY: 1. Why has every girl laughed at my size (what's so funny)? 2. If a guy had less than 2 inches, honestly how would you react? 3. Why do girl treat me more "girly" after seeing my manhood, or treat me more like a girlfriend than a guy? 4. Why does the girl I like (& other girls) "love" big size? What's so great about it anyway? What can big ones do differently than small? . . . (be honest) |
Posted: 31 Aug 2015 12:16 PM PDT so i just moved in with my boyfriend as we are living together im noticing bad habits and new things about him. last night for example i asked him to wash the dishes and i can clean up the restrooms so i caught him having the dog lick our dishes "clean" and i was very disgusted! i told him not to do that. and he said hell stop once their clean i thought he meant "stop for good" but today when we were having breakfast i complimented on how clean and spotless the dishes were and i asked him what he used and he told me "the dog" i was very disgusted as i just ate off of one the dog's plates! i wanted to throw it across the room! i was livid and we had a argument because that's how he does it in his house. he always eats like this because "dogs have cleaner tongues than people" its still gross! am i overreacting? how do i tell my boyfriend its not okay? no he puts the plates back into the cabinets |
Posted: 31 Aug 2015 12:04 PM PDT I posted this question before, and it got taken down. Im not sure why, so im just going to reword my details in a nicer way. Anyway, a little background behind my theory is: I often find myself disliking people. I dont like going to work in fear that I will have to talk to somone new. I usually dont like discussing anything with people unless they share the same dislike for others also. Let me explain, I am vegan and I would normally only associate myself with other vegans for the purpose that they wont hassle me about my lifestyle. But, even though I sometimes associate with other vegans, I would rather be alone most of the time. Does that make me a misanthrope? |
Posted: 31 Aug 2015 11:30 AM PDT I have always had a thing for pudgier guys. I think it's cute and it's just what attracts me. My definition of pudgy usually ranges from just a little squishy to guys that would be considered obese. I myself am not super thin but average and at my recommended "healthy weight". Because of this the guy I am currently into thinks I'm just joking when I ask him out. I like taking charge so I was the one to approach him and ask him to go to the movies with me sometime. He told me to stop joking around because it wasn't funny. I tried asking him again and when he shot be down I asked if it was because he didn't find me attractive. He said he thought I was very pretty but that i was probably just asking him so that he could say yes and then I'd make fun of him for it. He says that's happened to him before and he knows it's probably just a dare or something I'm doing because I'm bored. I don't know how to convince him that I do like him. I've had boyfriends much bigger than him but there's no way to prove that since I'm a new senior at this school. I know where he's coming from I used to be almost 300 hundred pounds and lost a lot of weight but I still don't know what to say. I want him to believe me but I have no idea how to convince him. Any ideas or thoughts? |

Question: Why do I feel strange about my niece having a boyfriend? Posted: 31 Aug 2015 08:31 AM PDT So I was talking to my niece over the phone a couple days ago were pretty close she's 16 I'm 26 I'm her youngest aunt and she's my eldest niece and well she admitted to me that she had a boyfriend (strict family so kind of a big deal) she said that they had been together secretly for a year and knew each other for even longer of course I knew eventually she would have a boyfriend because I did at her age so I was okay with it.. But late last night we were talking over the phone again and she asked for advice about this boy and I said "well...do you love him?" And she said yes but she said it in a way where she really really meant it and she never even had to think about it for a second and that's been playing on my mind all day? I mean we're really close and it all came out so fast is it just me being protective over her? Why can't I get it off my mind??? |

Question: So my mom is dating my ex boyfriend, how do I deal with this? Posted: 31 Aug 2015 07:41 AM PDT My mom who is 37 about to be 38 is dating my 20 year old ex boyfriend. She cheated on her ex of 6 years with him and her ex has now left. Their relationship has caused huge distrust between us. We used to be very close but now I feel like I cannot look her in the face anymore. He started living with us as "friends" and moved to her bedroom as soon as her ex moved out. It extremely hard to live with them, and I m only 17. Thank goodness for my boyfriend who is now living with me. Help me deal with this |
Question: What do you think of this studnet said? Posted: 31 Aug 2015 06:27 AM PDT Hello all. This student went to the Bathroom and there was some issue with the pluming or something. As a result, he'd gone to the Attendance Office of the School. When he had arrived there he stated to issue to an aide, who is very nice to the staff, and parents, but she isn't not nice to the students. Anyway, she says to the student "do I look like a janitor?" she also said this is a really nasty way. The student said: "What exactly does a janitor look like?". I personally think that he's right because just because someone is a staff memeber of a school doesn't mean they get to talk down to the students. We are all human. I do think there is a level of professionalism students must (all people handling things in schools for that matter) maintain because it is a place of work. What do you guys think? Thank you. 0 following 1 answer |

Question: I'm in a secret relationship with my stepbrother? Posted: 31 Aug 2015 05:44 AM PDT Have been for the last three years. I'm nineteen now and we are both tiered of hiding it from our parents and most friends. Our parents aren't religious or sth. but they care quite a lot about what other people say and think about our family. Appearances are everything and all that. Any suggestions as to how we go about this best? |
Question: Are these signs that he may like me/be interested in me? Posted: 31 Aug 2015 03:45 AM PDT There's this guy at work who I've recently noticed staring at me often, smiling, or sometimes just a straight face. Whenever I catch him staring at me, he immediately looks away. He always seems to be around me/near/me when I am at work, standing closer to me than I'd think is appropriate. The other day we both reached for something at the same time and touched hands, it was a bit awkward when it happened! Not sure if he did it on purpose or what. Also he goes out of his way to reach in front of me for something, and he brushes against me when I get the feeling he went out of his way to do so. Also he always maintains eye contact with me when we talk, glancing at me longer than I feel is necessary. He asked me a question and was stuttering while asking me (just a simple question) but he's usually a very well put together guy who I have never heard stutter before. Also he has helped me with a few tasks at work without me asking him to. took it upon himself. He also stands behind me a lot, idk why? People at work say he's never had a gf before, so will I have to be the one to make the first move? Are these signs hes interested? How can I really test things out to see if he likes me? |
Question: Why am I always attracted to men that don't take me seriously or don't respect me? Posted: 31 Aug 2015 03:13 AM PDT There are many men that want a relationship with me and I usually attract many men who respect me, but it seems that the ones I'm attracted to behave very disrespectful toward me and I always end up getting hurt or chasing them like a desperate woman thirsty for love! They always come with things like "You are a very good woman, but...", or "I'm not sure I want something serious" or "Oh, I forgot to tell you, I'm married" (after a couple of dates of course!!) or they say they will call me to arrange a date and then they disappear because "they were too busy", etc. I don't understand what I'm doing wrong and it's really annoying because I want very much to be in a beautiful relationship, but not with a man I don't want of course. I'm already 27 and all my friends have serious relationships or they are getting married. And before you say that I have a low self-esteem or I like the thrill of the chase, I have to say that when I'm attracted to someone I don't even know that is unavailable, so it's not the chase or the "I want what I can't have" that attracts me. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you and sorry for my poor English. I have also to say that I don't sleep with those men and I'm not easy in general, so it's not that the reason they don't respect me. |

Question: Anyone know of resources grants or assistance in my area that can help? Posted: 31 Aug 2015 01:29 AM PDT I am currently pregnant and a single mom. I just recently lost my job. I am about to have my car repossessed and get an eviction notice from my apartment. I went down to the DHS office to see if I qualify for tanf or childcare assistance and was denied because of 50 / 50 custody instead of the 70/30 they require. All of section 8 and vouchers and low income apartments are closed to a waiting list of 3 years back. My family lives 500 miles away and I am not allowed to move past 60 of my ex husband unless its approved by a judge ( not gonna happen with this short time frame) I know of st vincent de paul but they inly give you the last 100 dollars of rent. I dont have any out of 800. Anyone know of any assistance or help i can receive. My family has no money to be able lend me let alone that much. Or us there anything I can do about my car? |

Question: Why do I feel like this? Posted: 31 Aug 2015 12:38 AM PDT I feel like I'm special and that everything will fall in place for me. I feel like that I'm important to the world and I feel that this is both a good and bad thing, because I feel confident and positive and bright but also feel conceited? I also feel that whatever I want, I'll get it with a bit of work. I know this is dumb but I feel like I'm wrong and I might get disappointed one day if things don't go my way. also if this feeling is a wrong thing to do, how do i stop? |

Posted: 30 Aug 2015 11:23 PM PDT We were in love, he said he was going to marry me (obviously not now) and we both bought things for each other. He broke up with me about a week ago over joining a sorority, so I gave him his gift back with a note that said, "guess your hatred for greek life was stronger than your "love" for me. a little harsh, but I was pissed. I mean it s a petty reason to break up after you claim love. anyways, I know it s a stretch to ask for them back but I d kind of like something to have good memories by. It may sound stupid but to me they say he cared at least a little. Is it too bad of an idea to ask for them back? We ve since talked and are on good terms. Give me your thoughts please and thank you!! |

Question: Is it ok for parents to lie to their children? Posted: 30 Aug 2015 09:39 PM PDT this is mainly a story/ opinion. I came from a low middle class close from the poverty line. When I was young I remember I would save my weekly dollar, and when it was my birthday and I got lucky I would received 80-200 dollars. At the time it was 2004, my mom and her boyfriend bought a home refinanced it and like most american was handed a check for 200k and went on a spending spree. Birthday money disappeared as well my weekly dollar, allowances for house hold chores of 40 a month became 10 dollars. Both claiming it was going to the bank in a very large college account at one point reaching 8k (i looked at a receipt they showed me). The market crashed and so did the allowances, both claiming money was tight and that it was all for college. Birthday money would still get sent to the "bank" but both my mom and her boyfriend still spent money recklessly even though it was gone. years down the line in my senior year, my mother began to worry about college and asked me to apply for scholarships and join a shitty sport I hated. In an attempt to magically become athletic my final year get recognized and be given a free ride to pay for school. Then I remembered about the college account and all those times my mom took my birthday money and put it in the bank. She was surprised when I asked did not give me a straight answer and said she became desperate and spent it all when she ran out of money. |
Question: Help please im really sad:(? Posted: 30 Aug 2015 08:35 PM PDT okay so freshman year i was bestfriends with this girl for the first semester and i mean BEST friends! we went everywhere together, she'd always make me walk her 2 class! id give her piggyback rides, and i couldnt live without her and she couldnt live without me, then towards the end of that semester she likede me for a bout two months, we both liked eachother but she stopped when this kid wanted to fight me which we did so i got kinda cocky and acted too good for her. i let that kid beat me in a fight and now people are talkin... then the 2nd semester i apoligized and she accepted and we were beestfriends again! not the same as before but we were okay. sophomore year i switched schools and she begged me to come back, which i did, so junior year i came back which is now its been 3 weeks and we havent been talking the same! which is really sad, i told her i want to be bestfriends like we used to be and told her all my feelings. she replies with love and says like thank you and stuff, but nothing happens, this whole week i went to where she hangs out (which she told me to do) but we still never talk:( and i dont know those people she talks too plus she runs all around meaning she doesnt stay with one friend.. i really miss her gguys she was my little baby we used to call eachother boo. I dont even care about a relationship anymore i just want to be bestfriends again.. the kid i fought went 2 a new school and he didnt talk to her all of last year but she commented "imy" under his photo which is pretty sad since he doesnt care |
Question: What word(s) would you use to describe this person? Posted: 30 Aug 2015 08:02 PM PDT she is 25 years old. Sleeps in late and stays on the computer all day, hence she is jobless. Lives with her parents, but has a boyfriend. Likes expensive things. Is a an acdemic genius ,but has no street smarts. Always looking for compliments and needs to be the center of attentions. Is extremly opinionated and is often speaks arrogantly. Is late to all events no matter how important it may be. Often acts spiteful, vindictive, condescending and believes she knows evey word that will come out of your mouth. Likes to copy other people who are accomplishing things she has not done. Will use immature stunts and lying to gain majority opinion on any topic. What advanced vocabulay words would you use to describes her, I need help in conquering her extensive vocabulary for many reasons. Btw the way I won't be able the get away from this person for a few years so I need to be able to defend my self in the meantime,I'm sure most of you can figure out why. |
Question: What to do when a kid wants to come over? Posted: 30 Aug 2015 07:54 PM PDT I am a 67 year old celibate single male. A family has moved in next door. I've known the mother for over 30 years (she grew up in the house), her husband for about 12 years and their 12 year old son pretty much his entire life (another son is 10). It's a good neighborly relationship and I want very much to keep it that way. This decent 12 yr old boy seems to have taken a strong liking to me. Bashful, adoring looks, etc. I suspect it's because mom is pretty strict and dad, while clearly brilliant--he owns his own tech company and works out of their home--is not an especially warm presence in his boys' lives. And then there's nice, friendly, single me next door, possibly a sitting duck for trouble. The 12 yr will likely show up on my doorstep. I want to be friendly and warm, but I also don't want to put myself in a dangerous position. As a single guy I feel vulnerable. One measure I've taken is to alert a woman friend to come over instantly if the boy appears. I'm trying to keep a balance between being friendly toward him and being personally safe myself. I would welcome any ideas on handling this situation. I'll probably know this young male the remainder of my life and seek to develop a cordial friendship with him that will last over that time. |
Posted: 30 Aug 2015 06:07 PM PDT My boyfriend and I dated for three years now that we're seniors I needed to focus on getting into my dream college and the fact that we have been drifting apart led me to realize it was best to end the relationship. When I told him he asked if I was serious. I said yes and that I thought it would be best but all he gave me was no. I asked what he meant and he said no we aren't breaking up. I said that I broke up with him but he claims that a HE isn't breaking up with me so we're still together. I ignored it and decided to leave it alone but realized whenever someone hears that we broke up and ask him about it he tells them that we are still together. At lunch we sit at the same table since we have the same friends but he always sits next to me and attempts to hold my hand like we used to. When I pull away he just asks what's wrong sweetheart like he's playing dumb. He sends me texts asking when I want to go shopping for homecoming attire. He will even show up at my house claiming we have a date. When I turn him away he always leaves peacefully but says that I probably just don't feel good today and we can go out another time. My problem is that I really want him to stop but I also don't want to get him in trouble. He's at the top of our class and I don't want to ruin his life by reporting this to anyone. I just don't feel it would be fair since while it is very annoying he isn't hurting me or stalking me. Should i just try to talk to him again or maybe his best friend? I asked this question a few days ago but when I click on it it says it doesn't exist. I think I deleted it by accident or my computer is just messing up so sorry for asking again. |

Question: Neighbor saw me changing? Posted: 30 Aug 2015 04:25 PM PDT Unsure of the correct catahory. I am an 18 y/o male. My dresser is located right beside the window, leaving me in front of the mirror hidden behind white blinds. As usual, after my shower I began to dress myself as I do every day next to my dresser. Today, however, when I opened my blinds, there my teen aged neighbors were and they seemed to be staring directly into my room from their yard as soon as I unfolded the blinds. I ran to lay down on my bed as it left me confused on what I am supposed to do as the adult. I had no idea if my silhouette was visible all these years but I feel horrible inside right now. Should I be expected to apologize to them or force myself to forget about this and move on? I'm going to look into buying some curtains to prevent this situation hopefully ever again. Please comment I have no idea what to do and really can't ask anybody personal considering they're under aged. Thank you for your time. |

He is emotionally and mentally abusive. Calls me names in front our our 7 year old son, screams and yells at me on a whim, has asked me over and over again to hand over my salary to him then he will give me an allowance. ( I pay a large portion of the bills) I never know when he will blow up. Always walking on ice. Told my 7 year old to get out of the house and he was going to call the police. So I need to leave. We are not married and NYS is not a common law state. He lets me drive one of the 5 junk cars in his name but I am afraid he will take it from me or call the cops on me if i take it with me when I move. What are my rights to the property? He has a house in his name that we have lived at for 5 years. I have contributed some of the furniture, dishes etc. Do I just take what I can get and leave? |
