We've been talking for almost a month over chat. She's on an anonymous account, so I don't know her and I don't know where she's from. No info at all. Except that she's 14, has a child, and lives with a monster with anger issues and his older brother (who's never around). So far I've been encouraging her to practice speaking up and being firm with her bf, and that everything will be okay. She's suicidal. Oh, right, and she's also mentally/emotionally unstable and had depression and bipolar disorder. She doesn't want to tell anyone else, and only started chatting with me about this because I asked her what was wrong. She's afraid to speak up against him, fearing that he'll beat her. He pushed her down the stairs yesterday. She says she wants to give her child a better future, but yet she says she doesn't want to be here anymore. I really want to help pull her out of it, and if she slips out of my hands I'm gonna feel guilty forever. Please, can anyone offer any advice? I sometimes lose my temper when people try to use me. I am working to let things go but how would you handle a situation like this knowing the other person is using you? I talked to leasing office manager yesterday for the security & pet deposit to be refunded full/partially after I move out. The contract I have says I had a security deposit of 700. He said his system shows $600. I told him the contract is my proof and both parties have signed so your system must be wrong. He kept saying no and trying to convince me with some non sense. I finally got a bit upset and my voice got loud. Since I am working on my temper, at that moment I realized I was getting loud but that little voice inside me way saying, it is your right to be upset, he is at fault. So that voice sometimes convinces me to yell. How can I control my temper in that kind of situation knowing it is not my fault. How would you handle it?

He said yesterday was a really stressful day because it was his last day of being at his base and he is having issues with adjusting to the new life he will be living. He didn't want me seeing him like that. He said he was talking to her because he found out she was going to be at a birthday party for his friend's child. He said his ex is friend's with his friend and his friend's wife that is hosting it. And that they have lots of mutual friends so he can't really avoid her. He found out she was going to be there so he contacted her to make it clear that he doesn't want any problems with her. He said he likes me but he's just being honest about his past. That they talked briefly on the phone to clear the air. He said he had her blocked on Fb and only unblocked her to speak about what happen between them since they had a fight the last time they saw each other and that he wants to get along with her if he has to be around her. He said he's always been honest with me and was hurt that I got upset with him. I want him to have fun and not miss out on anything because of her and he knows this. He knows I've been hurt.

I know this is a really strange question, but here it goes. please don't judge. : ) Ok...my brother and I are on the school swim team, and so lately I been seeing him in his little speedo and he looks really cute. I know that's TOTALLY strange. But I can't help my self but kinda stare at his body. Am I totally a physico for thinking that? Shouldn't even say anything to him?

In a story I am writing the character is in collage, he knew the person for years and they are best friends. They have a love/hate relationship, but they mostly hold a strong platonic love. The main character feels conflicted when they see said friend all over there brother and are suddenly really jealous of them together (like hanging out/talking). At first he thinks it because it will get in the way of there friendship, but soon realizes that it's probably more. I want to know how long it should take them to realize it. The character is pretty sharp, but doesn't have much experience when it comes to romance. That doesn't mean they are really completely brain dead in that department! Also to note the best friend has liked him for years and he hasn't noticed because the friend was good at hiding his emotions. Is that believable? Have you ever been in a similar situation? Did you figure it out or did someone tell you? How long did it take you to figure it out? Sorry I just want to make this part realistic since it's the main relationship I'm focusing on. Any suggestions on how I should write it? Thanks so much!

My boyfriend has been an alcoholic for years. Pretty much as long as I've known him (which is 10+ years, we were friends first and just started dated about a year ago). It's gotten worse over the last two years once his dad passed away and another major negative life-changing event. I've been with him and it's been tough for me to be, but I stuck through it anyways. We got into horrible fights and I left a few times. The drinking has gotten better since. He quit cold turkey and I helped him through the detox. He's now going to the doctor and he's finding out that his health is in really bad condition from all those years of drinking and bad eating habits. I won't go into detail, but it's severe. The stress and concern has caused him to put a wall between him and I. I knew the detox/rehab/health issues would mean that he'd go through mood swings (depression, anger, etc) and I thought I would be prepared for that, considering everything else I had been through with him. His mood swings were pretty horrible when he was drinking anyway. I promise I am not trying to be selfish, it's just a lot harder than I expected. We live together and he has been acting like I'm not around - eating dinner without me, walking the dogs without me, leaving the house and not letting me know. It is starting to make me wonder why I am even here? I know there are groups like Al-Anon but I can't imagine I have to go to a support group for this, but I get it now. Has anyone else been?

I have been going out with my boyfriend for about 5 months and he is amazing and caring and treats me great and we get on fantastic together. Today a girl that once was my girlfriend contacted me. It's been almost thirty years since we have been in touch. I'm married now to a super awesome woman, with two kids that I have. She has been fallowing me for years she tells me. She asked me if we could be friends, she said she wouldn't hurt me. I told her it's not me I was worried about getting hurt. It's my wife, my kids, and deep down inside her. I told her I can't. I told her yesterday is gone. She was one of the last people to know my mom. My mom died twenty five years ago today. I think I did the right thing. I know I did the right thing. I don't look back in life, you can't look back if you want to live forward. Anyone else have this issue? I can't be the only one who used to love someone deeply, but it didn't work out. Someones gotta have this? What did you do or didn't do? I love my wife to much to look back now.

My live-in bf and I have a great relationship. We are very affectionate, open, and genuinely enjoy spending time with each other. However, for the last couple of months his occasional habit of falling asleep on the couch has turned into an almost every night thing. I need more sleep than he does. I usually get about 7 hours, he only needs about 5. I usually get tired and head to bed around 10 or 1030. He will then say that he is going to stay up and watch a bit of TV or get some work done, and that he will join me later. He then usually falls asleep on the couch an hour or two later. I have told him that I love falling asleep together but I realize he's a night owl and that can't happen every night. I've also told him that the part I dislike the most is that I sometimes wake up in the middle of the night (I'm a very light sleeper) and feel like I need to go check on him out in the living room. After doing so, I have problems getting back to sleep. He has made an effort to come to bed with me a couple of times a week, but the last three times he's tried, he's been too restless and ends up getting out of bed about a half hour later. Sorry about the long post, but any advice on how to reach a compromise on this? I don't want to nag him or annoy him, but my sleep happiness is important too.

so I just found at that my boyfriend of 5 years slept with someone else (who was supposed to be my friend) a month after our son was born. This happened 8 months ago but I just found now from a friend so I confronted him and he admitted it said it was a mistake and he regretted it right after and that he was drunk and thought that we were not going to last. Let me say that after I had my son I got postpartum depression very badly and he didnt realize it and just was always gone out drinking or whatever just never home but anyways I am having an extremely hard time dealing with this and I cant figure out what im supposed to do. All I keep thinking is I wasnt good enough for him because I was still big from the pregnancy and had stretched marks and just wasnt looking the prettiest dealing with a newborn and battling depression but does that mean that is was ok? Im hurting because i love him so very much but right now all I want to do is hate him. Me and my boyfriend have been together for 8 years and lived together for 6 years. Me and my boyfriend basically work opposite schedules and he is home during the day while i am at work. every night when he gets off work he comes to bed and watches TV while I sleep and then he eventually falls asleep next to me. Well last night I woke up at 1130 and he was not in bed and the light I left on for him was still on so I went to see if he was maybe eating a snack. As I went into the dining room I did not see him and then I saw feet on the couch so I started to head for the living room and as I turned the corner I saw my boyfriend head phones on, cell phone in one hand, junk in the other. He quickly curled up and I awkwardly acted like I was asleep and was worried he was not home yet. I quickly turned around and went back to bed. He quickly followed and I asked what he was doing and he said watching music videos on YouTube. he said he was watching them in the living room cause he did not want to bother me with the light. I knew it was BS and I was kind of upset he lied to my face. But the question I have is should I approach him about walking in on him? The topic often embarrasses him. I'm OK with him doing that but I don't want to be home when it happens. Also I can not stop feeling like I did something wrong like I am the one who was interrupted. Please help! I feel like this will be in the back of my head until I talk to him about it but don't want to make it awkward.

I have been with my boyfriend for about a year. The first couple of months were absolutely amazing. Then I noticed when he got mad he would call me the most horrible names EVER, sometimes lay his hands on me, embarrassed me in front of his friends and family NUMEROUS times. Every time I HAD A RIGHT to be upset he somehow turned it around on me and I ended up apologizing for even being mad, he has broken up with me atleast 30 times and it was all his fault but every time he came back I had to tell him what I had to change. I have bought him a ps4, shoes, watch, sweats, games, and sometimes when he gets mad he will take those things out of his house and throw it in the middle of the street and everytime I picked them up because they were so expensensive he would knock them back down. THEN HE WOULD let me back in and make me apologize for doing that to him. I have delayed giving him some gifts because of how he treated me and he thought I was a liar for not giving it to him right away......he has cheated on every single ex girl he had and has hit them all, he has not cheated on me. Him and his family have thrown me out of their house atleast 5 times just because they could and I have done nothing but respect them. My cousin helped him get a car and I have delayed for about 2 months giving it to him because of the way he treated me and he broke up with me because of that, yet everytime I begin to feel sad my gut feeling says he will come back...why will he come back if he does? He also checks girls out infront of ME ALL THE FREAKING TIME and if I get jealous he thinks that is wrong... he is also 27 so he is not young. At home I keep to myself when my mom is home because she makes me feel bad about myself and yells at me for small things, this has been going on for years. I do want to help around the house, but I don't do too much because I either forget (I am kind of forgetful) or because when I do she still critisizes me about how I did it and it doesn't motivate me. At school and with my friends and boyfriend, I always feel so much happier and willing to help everyone out, I feel like they value me and they make me happy. They make me feel like I matter and that I can achieve things if I try. I am an A student, and I love drawing, I can do so many sports, my dad and brother support me but my mom doesn't, I feel like she's never proud of me. So if I don't act nice/happy around her, am I being a bad?

What my question is should I be concerned that my man cheating on me ? Because he told me they were talking stuff but he never told me what there snap chat name is or send me screenshots he just told me they wrote him talking stuff about us and or kids and that he blocked them .

Towards the end of school in May of this year, I had a sports banquet to go to so I asked my golf coach, who is also my math teacher, for a ride. Since the school is 3 blocks from my house I didn't see nothing wrong with it and neither did he. When we get ready to leave, one of my friends mom said that it was totally inappropriate for me to be riding with my teacher alone and I told her that he's my cousin and won't try anything. Yes he is also my cousin which is also another reason why I asked for a ride. So I go to school the next day and my friend tells me that her mom told her that me and our teacher are in a secret relationship and that we're sleeping with each other. I went and told him what happened and he told me not to worry about it and that he'll take care of it. Well I didn't hear nothing about it again until school started back yesterday. People started messaging me and asking why my teacher had/has a crush on me and I responded that there's nothing going on with me and the teacher. I haven't talked to him since school got out and I'm in one of his classes this year and people started saying he was getting boners by staring at me and he shows me too much affection, which to me he doesn't. My parents go back to our homeland. We have lived in the US since I was a small child, in the 80's. I'm now 35 years old and I will miss them badly. In fact I do not even want to remain in this country without them. I could never find decent work in this country, on the contrary, I was unjustly stuffed many times in jail so I have a criminal record and I have suffered many traumatic experiences. I have never been able to start a family, and I really have no one person who cares about me, or will help me in need, also no friends. And that will not change either in the near bewing. I would prefer to move to a country in Europe, but I do not know how to start with that. Can anyone give me advice, please ??? I am a US citizen. Our homeland is "India".
