He didn't have a snapchat, his camera didn't work, his age. And I caught him in all of them and said I'm not dumb. So since we didn't trust each other because I feel at least 2 of his brothers were talkin ****.. So then we drifted. In the summer we met up and he looked at me a lot, found opportunities to touch me, he flickered the lights cause he loved my reaction (scared). He liked to touch my hair. We were about to have sex I confessed that I was a virgin I told him you do it. He pulled me close.. And since I was a virgin I bled. He was uncomfortable. It's like he never did a virgin before. Long story short she liked me and I liked her but I didn't know she liked me. I made her feel rejected by walking away during a conversation she started due to my own confusion. Then I only learned she had been interested in May when my mom and her aunt talked about us. I started talking to her again back in July around her birthday after I told her happy birthday. I wouldn't have done anything further but she texted the day after sending a picture of her schedule and asking if we have any classes together. We texted for a few days after and the enthusiasm that had been there when we'd first started talking seemed to be back. We really haven't talked much since mid-July though since there were summer reading projects and I had my wisdom teeth taken out. My interest had also kinda waned over the summer, but as soon as I saw her in person again it's like it all came flooding back to me. Now I'm interested in talking to her again but I don't know when to do it. See the class we share is in the middle of the day so neither of us can really afford to loiter around after class and neither of us are really seated near each other. I already have depression, which is caused by the way people treat me and its lead to some pretty low moments in life including the fact that I seem to attract people not good for me. I used to think that anyway until the same things kept happening making me think its me and there's a reason people treat me like an annoyance. It always happens like this: someone is in a bad mood, I am around just being myself, next thing I know they are annoyed and treat me badly, say things and do things that aren't right in any extent. A good example being my suitemate's boyfriend getting mad at me because I tried to look at his eyes (he wears sunglasses 24/7), he threatened me, walked up on me, and then threw me out of his girlfriend's room, slamming the door in my face. My other roommate told him that it wasn't his space and he had no right to threaten me or anything because of something so stupid, he got mad and accused me of lying while his gf just stayed quiet the whole argument. The next thing I know he dumps her and she blames me saying I started everything, she basically went in on me. After all that ****, and acting like I don't exist for like three days (I kept the texts she sent me) she suddenly asks me to do her a favor when I was with a friend...then she up and cleared our plates away from where we were eating. Stuff like this makes me think I'm a bad person, but then... Stuff like this constantly happens to me. Most often its like the above situation, other times its like the person doesn't care how they treat me and move on to the next one. My first sexual experience was the latter. Update: My roommate's boyfriend is still mad at me apparently, she on the other hand keeps talking to me and asking me for favors like nothing happened.... |

He asked me my life story and I asked him things too. He really made me feel good about myself. The all of sudden started acting like I didn't exist. He started putting up things about finding the right person etc. Then one day I noticed he was going on a date so I told him have fun. Thats when he said he was gay. He asked if I could accept that. I said yes I could but why didnt you tell me before? He said he doesnt like his personal life talked about so I said ok. I said are we still friends and he said of course I have always loved you. He also said I want to to get to know you better. But then didnt hear from him for 3 months. When i finally did he said he wasnt gay & asked me to attend church with him. I didnt hear from him so I opened up and asked him with no response then 2 weeks later out of nowhere asks me how i was doing. I said i was busy and didnt hear from him for another month. I got fed up and told him straight up I was done. Now he has gone a little crazy & deleted all his friends from FB & then ended up deleting it all together, b4 that he was trying t get my attention again but I ignored him. He was married and divorced about 8 years ago & I feel he was hiding something from me. We saw each other a month ago & he was trying to warm up to my mom. I guess my biggest thing is why did he do this to me? |

My mom's mad that I don't want to go on a weekend family trip with her and her side of the family in Mexico. This is an annual trip we've made ever since I was 3 years old and once I turned about 13 I started dreading it (now 18). I'm moving out to LA for college in 17 days and I'd rather spend this weekend with close friends who are also moving out of town. My mom's making it seem like the world's gonna end if we don't go on this ONE trip. Idk what to do Also I have some conflict with going over to visit family in Mexico. It's hard for me to get along with most of my mom's side of the family. They all live in Mexico and things are just different over there. Whenever we go over to visit ALL they (my mom and her sisters) talk about is gossip and about other people. Basically we just don't have common interests. The only cousin who was my age and I would talk with got pregnant when we were 15 and ever since then she's been a completely different I feel bad that I don't know how to get along with my family from mexico, I really do. I try to get in the conversations/bonding that goes on but I just can't. I don't know if it's because I just had a different upbringing because I live in the U.S. and they live in some tiny town in Mexico. But I just wish my mom would let me for this ONE time, not go on a family trip and stay home. |

| Question: My mom doesn't like my boyfriend? Posted: 05 Aug 2015 06:48 PM PDT Me and my boyfriend have been together for 11 months. We've had a rocky relationship but we do love each other. My mom doesn't like him anymore because he's hurt me but what she doesn't know is, I've done the same. She thinks I'm all innocent, getting my emotions toyed with but she really has no idea what goes on in our relationship. Its gotten to the point where my mom said I can't be with him or me and her are going to have a bad relationship so now I'm basically sneaking around to see my boyfriend. I'm 18, I don't know how I should handle this. Any advice? |
| Question: How to keep a relationship from being overwhelmed by conflicting interests? Posted: 05 Aug 2015 06:47 PM PDT My girlfriend does some things that I am, and most likely will always be, against but I don't want something so insignificant cause problems in our relationship. I love my girlfriend and don't want anything to try and go against that, but I also hate what she sometimes does. I don't hate her for doing it, I just hate that she does it, if that makes sense. I even feel horrible for having brought it up before because it's pretty much the only thing we can't agree on and I don't know if our views will ever change. I just want to know how to keep something she does sometimes and probably won't stop doing from causing problems in our relationship. She uses marijuana for both medicinal(which I can understand) and occasionally recreation(which I have never, nor will ever condone beyond a benefit for taxing it much like tobacco). And I'm looking more for ways of dealing with or maybe fixing the conflicting interests without having to "drop her" |

Posted: 05 Aug 2015 06:40 PM PDT My house is falling apart, there are holes in the ceilings, Possibly mold in the walls, we live in a run down home that was abandoned for 10 years while the owner was barely able to move and we had to take care of him until he died a few months ago, I don't have a bedroom, I'm 16 years old and my family barely has enough money to buy me new clothes. we live off of foodstamps and my grandpas monthly checks. I feel like I will never have a normal life under these surcumstances. |

He offers her money or other things in exchange for hooking up. Last weekend I saw her texting him and he was asking to hang out this weekend, but she said she was just trolling him because she doesnt like him. Now she tells me shes going to hang out with a friend this weekend. I know its pretty slim that its someone besides him because she is very shy. I am very worried about this. I don't want to be the untrusting bf, and I definately want her to have someone to hang out with besides me, but if she hangs out with him again I think that's really sketchy.
