I've been trying my very best to get into shape, going to gym, playing sports, playing outside with friends, and taking gym class. I've never had a girlfriend and I've been rejected twice. I always try to be nice to people and respectful, but most of the guys use me, and every girl sells me out. I'm very ugly and I hate myself. Every form I've ever seen except for one goes for only looks. There's one girl in my school who's pretty and has a boyfriend just like me and they love each other. I look at them and I'm happy for them, but at the same time I'm wishing there was another girl out there who goes for personality. They just reject me and leave me lonely thinking about suicide and go out with handsome guys who are complete assholes. Why are girls so shallow? |

I just met this guy about 2 1/2 months ago at my church, I'm 20, and I don't know how old he is yet. We would always greet each other, then all of a sudden things changed we got quiet. I know he's close to my age. I was waiting for my Mom to go down from the choir loft, and I had my head on my arm laying on the ledge of the door,and I've realized he was starring at me, no one wasn't behind me, and he didn't let go of the gaze, and I made the first moved, and broke the stare because there was a lot of people around, especially in the choir loft and near him,I went behind the wall. I've notice our gaze was like 2-3 seconds, then I went back to see if my Mom left the choir loft,and she was up there, then he came out and passed me, and said hey(name) I don't know if he was day dreaming, or he was actually looking through my eyes. |

Heres what I myself want to know: best cities with little to no snow....will take some snow but not 75%of the year & not a fan of blistering heat either Lowest cost of living. ...after all, who wants to go broke during retirement? Low crime rate if at all possible with these other conditions. California is expensive, I dont want Florida like every other retired person & I prefer a relaxing environment as opposed to a tourist hot spot |

They also have a 4 year old daughter together. My boyfriend is also friends with her boyfriend and has heard that he has been doing it every weekend and told me about it but I haven t said anything to her till recently. He has been doing it and never stopped and she hasn t known about it till the other night. It was his birthday last weekend and they had a birthday party for him. He had disappeared for awhile with his friends to go do it and when he came back she saw it on his nose and right away knew that he had been doing it. She got really upset and went outside crying and I asked her if she knew that he had been doing it lately. She said she kinda had an idea but then I told her that I had heard he had been doing it cause my boyfriend told me. Two days ago my mom's side that comes to grandma's was talking about a Vietnamese girl who got murderer and one of my mom's friend was like you have to be careful coz someone could come up from behind and kill me(not joking about what she said). My mom even wants to come drive up every like two weeks just to do my laundry(she wouldn't be allowed to in the dorm building anyway). 3 1/2 hours away from home if no traffic. Also, my mom wouldn't think I would survive college without having rice to eat everyday and even said I have to eat like ramen/cup of noodles. The alcohol thing is pretty light just watch your drink from other adults since my parents never mentioned a thing about alcohol. |

I have been working there for a year and four months now which is kinda surprising as I actually thought that I would get sent home within the first day. But I have a great boss who is actually quite lenient. Anyway, he tries to get me to open up but I get really overwhelmed especially around all my coworkers as I feel really uncomfortable and self-conscious during staff meetings. We finish work around 12AM so my boss occasionally drops some of the staff home including myself as I live kinda near him. When it's just him and I in the car, he tries really hard to talk to me but I don't really talk back much and this perceptibly annoys him. Anyway one of my managers told me that my boss is considering firing me. And I definitely think one of the reason is because I don't really talk. I did talk to my boss like twice when he dropped me off home in the past and I really opened up but after that I felt self-conscious.. But I was thinking when he drops me off home next, should I open up about my social anxiety? I just think that's the only way he'll understand me. Thoughts? |

She brags soooo much and goes on and on and you just don't know how to reply to that, added to that she lies as well and a lot. For example: Talking about her dad being a doctor and it's amazing and all that and everyone treats her amazingly at the hospital for it, she overly exaggerates everything and is very inconsiderate. The 4 year old is a terrible brat, it's stressful to have her here. Her mother lets her get away with murder and it stresses my better behaved toddler out. The 23 YO and 4 YO occupy the smallest room, 6x8. We figured the smallest room might make them move out, she works FT at a pharmacy and has for years. She also has a low credit score and no one will rent to her. She has sabotaged every effort we make to help her leave. It even became financial, which left us in the hole. She is still home, bringing her BFs over and overtaking the house. I feel like an innkeeper often times and my wife doesn't support my frustrations. The 2 boys, 17 and 18, occupy 2 moderate sized rooms, 9x10. They do not get along at all socially and are very different. My wife and I share our 13x15 room with our 3 year old and we're over it. My wife proposes that the 2 boys share our large room and we split their 2 rooms with ourselves and our toddler. I'm not convinced. 17 and 18 is too old to share a room if you have ZERO common interests, no? My side of the family is already convinced I've given my kid the shaft, as it is, because he asks for far LESS than my wife's kids do. How do I save my life? This is miserable now and I expressed this evening that I've thought of divorce to escape it. |

I just got to the point where I'm comfortable going barefoot around people, but I still can't go barefoot around my parents. They are so used to see me wearing shoes and socks that if I suddenly decided to go barefoot around them they'd question me about it. | Question: I think my mom doesn't care about me? Posted: 02 Aug 2015 08:38 PM PDT Every time I try to talk to her about how I went to visit my dad she says, Why do you allow him in your life? If I tell her what my dad and I talk about she will say, Why do you ask him for advice? I live off of scraps and finger foods. My doctor told me that I was malnourished, when I told her that I needed to be eating fruits and vegies she said "You aren't malnourished". My mom always talks on the phone to other people saying how much she doesn't like having me around. She refuses to drive me anywhere. I really want to volunteer around the community and go to friends houses. but she says that's pointless and I am leaving work to let you do your stupid things. So I am stuck home alone 24/7. If I need to go to my therapist, my endocrinoligst, or my general doctor I have to call my grandpa who lives am hour away, and have him come out. She only wants to talk about how wimpy people are at her work and how they need to man up. She likes to make fun of my favorite singer by calling him a suicidal wimp, when I know he didn't commit suicide. I have tried to tell her the proof they have because she likes those murder mystery things and she says, "I don't care". She will just continue to make fun of him. *not* leaving work to let you do your stupid things. All of my friends refuse to pick me up because they don't know my mom. They don't want to come over because they don't want their kids here without an adult. He doesn't believe anything I say. I try talking to him about it, but he believes that he raised this flawless daughter (this is my mom's dad) and defends her every action. He is really the only family I have. |

| Posted: 02 Aug 2015 07:51 PM PDT Ever since I was a kid, and I mean, as a toddler, my mom told me there were certain things I would refuse to eat. I remember hating meatloaf and green beans (still do) and her getting mad that I'd throw a fit when she'd try to feed it to me. Generally, I get by on my own. But, my boyfriend likes to cook and he likes all these different kinds of complicated foods, and more than anything he really likes spicy foods. I hate anything even mildly spicy, so when he makes something, I'll ask, is it spicy? And he'll say, you won't even taste it, but I can, and I'll still finish it, and then he gets annoyed if I mention that I found it spicy, or that I won't try something I know I don't like. Or the people I work with, we'll be talking about food, and as we work in the food industry, I'll mention, oh hey, that's nasty (an ingredient, such as mushrooms) and on person in particular will always always point out about how picky I am. Yes, I know this. I can't help it. I have no choice but to eat every single day if I want to continue living, which I do, and I don't see a point in eating food I don't like, which admittedly is a lot, but what can I do about that? I have no control over my taste buds, but they act like I do. I don't mind trying new things, but until we're at a point in our lives where we don't have a choice in what we eat, why does it matter to anyone else if there are thing I don't like, and why are you placing personal blame on me for no liking it? Anyone else? |

Posted: 02 Aug 2015 07:51 PM PDT I was in the store with my friend and she jokingly pulled her mothers hair from behind and her mother's head lightly jerked back, then the mom grabbed my friend's side ponytail and yanked it as hard as she could, I could hear a snap and I hurried and grabbed my friend and asked if she was okay. May I tell you this was in public too! Was this a form of child abuse? |

| Question: Nothing in my life is okay.? Posted: 02 Aug 2015 07:23 PM PDT From an outsider's point of view, I might seem lucky. I'm from an upper middle class family, go to a private school and I seem pretty happy. But what they don't know is that I've been bullied from first grade to eighth grade, (I'm going to be in 10th grade next year), although that is not the current issue (current issue is that I feel really useless because of a lot of misfortunes in my life), I have never gone a day in my life where my parents don't yell at each other, and I only have one friend who I could be completely alone with and not feel awkward. Just now, I found out that one of my parents wants to move out and is planning to do so right after our family vacation (which was already paid for, no returns (an attempt for the whole family to be happy)). I realized since I was small that I could do nothing to stop them from this separation, and that it was going to happen eventually, but now that it's happening, I feel useless. I try my best to get the best grades I possibly could at school (even though I'm stupid) so I could please my parents, I'm average looking with bad eyesight, I have an awkward personality, I try my best at playing the piano so my parents will like it, and whenever something wrong happens I don't have the courage to do anything and just stay there quietly waiting for it to pass. I have a lot of people frustrated with me because they don't understand why I have to quietly wait for everything to pass. This is because I've realized that everything will happen eventually and it's best to get it over with. I just feel so hopeless, and useless. My parents told me that they only stayed together for me and my sister because they loved us. So is it better if I hadn't existed? I don't feel like committing suicide or cutting, I just feel empty. I've talked to my friend about it but I still feel kind of sad and lonely. What should I do in this kind of situation? |

We exchanged numbers on campus and only saw each other once but planned on seeing each other again, now that we are taking summer classes when we see each other we don't speak and I find that completely weird because we used to text everyday. He stop texting me because he said I was "playing games". When I see him I get this feeling in my stomach so if we make eye contact I just look and turn away, I bet he doesn't even care. Should I tell him about it or let it go? |

| Question: How can I stop letting people walk all over me? Posted: 02 Aug 2015 05:36 PM PDT So I decided that I was going to change. I was going to be less me and more outgoing so i decided to dye my hair blonde. I went to HairCuttery and now I look like carrot top. Its an absolute mess, I'm going to another salon tomorrow. Its just...I smiled and I thanked her and I tipped her for ruining my hair. And that's exactly why I wanted to change. In my effort to change I failed at my first attempt. And I feel so helpless. So much like a failure. What can I do to fix this? How can I stop feeling like this? I put this in family and relationships because its about my relationship with me? The world? And if you have any hair salon suggestions include those too. |

My life is so boring and empty and depressing. I am closer to 30 than 20 so I am not getting any younger and I have never even been on a date. I have had a lot of trouble with mental health issues, depression, and employment at times. If guys have to pay for dates ect anyway how is that any different if i just hire a girl? |

Posted: 02 Aug 2015 05:18 PM PDT hola empesare con lo que me esta pasando yo soy casado y tengo un hijo llebo 2 años y medio de casado y lo que pasa es que conoci a una muchacha muy bonita, muy amable conmigo, muy noble y sencilla de muy bonitos sentimientos y hermosa la muchacha ella me empeso a ablar y tratar muy bonito de una manera extraña pero linda me empezó a llevar de comer al trabajo y de vez en cuando me llevaba postres pero así solamente me los daba y se iba siquiera dejaba que le diera las gracias, y derrepente fuimos ablando mas la fui tratando y no se que paso pero es que me enamore de ella yo en algún momento dije le voy a dejar de ablar para no enamorarme o sentir algo por ella pero simplemente no pude ella fue asiendo muchas cosas que mi esposa no ase yo trate de evitarlo pero no pude me enamoro esa muchacha y ella sabe que estoy casado y que tengo un hijo y ella me dise que no quiso que esto pasara que se siente como una zorra pero que no podia evitar verme y ablarme y luego me toco ami y aclarando que aun no aah pasado nada no nos hemos besado ni hemos tenido intimidad de echo nol ose yo si me enamore por que hay gente que solo busca una aventura y ya nose que aser ando bien estupido por ella yo alli en el trabajo pedi cambio de area solo para no verla pero de todos modos siempre ablamos por telefono y msjs no se que aser la verdad por que esto se siente feo por mi familia pero ala vez se siente bonito por ella |

So we see each other every weekend which doesn't bother me I am fine with her we talk and are civil with each other. My thing is I dont want to hang out with her like as far as im concerned if it dont have to do with the baby I don't feel it to be necessary for us to be around each other. Im not trying to be hateful or rude but to me going out and spending the day with her and her boyfriend isnt my idea of fun... I think that if it was their childs birthday or a holiday then that would be more understanding to me.. I just want others thoughts on this. Am I worng for thinking like this? What do y'all think? |

We had some problems once in our relationship, and he moved out, i want him to move back in with me, since hes left ive felt lonely and miserable, my mom was all with it until then, now they changed their mind on it, and said "He isnt moving back in" He is willing to pay 200$ everypay check for food, since we have money problems right now, he helps out with the maintenance problems! And claims my brother as his own family, he also pays his phone bill of 50$, he also gives them money for gas till he gets a car to go to work. What should i do to persuade my parents in letting him move back in? |
