Okay so I'm gonna be a sophomore this year in college. Things were great with my freshman roommate (we were friends in high school). so we decided to room together this year. At the end of the school though, things turned bad fast. I found out she is a compulsive liar and lies about EVERY LITTLE THING. I also suspect that she has been stealing from me (little stuff like makeup and clothes). I don't know what to do. I do NOT WANT to live with her but I'm stuck. She's part of my friend group so that will make things very difficult. Its also impossible to change things for the fall. What do I do?? She's done way to many things to me for me to trust her and I don't want to be her friend?

I have no good friends that I hang out with and my only good friends stopped being friends with me, I feel like no one notices me and nobody cares. I hate school because I have no one to talk to or be in a group with. I'm a funny person but I'm extremely shy and I'm tall and intimidating so people stay away from me. My gf recently broke up with me...for the 3rd time. Below are some of our recent arguments. Was I wrong in them or was she just looking for drama? She went to her friends apartment because they were going to a comedy show. She said there was no parking and she was just going to park in resident parking when her friend let her in. I told her she shouldn't do that, the large company that owned those and many other complexes towed if they didn't have resident stickers. She said it would be fine, she has done it before. A few hours she gets back to her car and finds out she has been towed. I said I was worried about that. She said how were you worried about that? You don't even know. I said I knew that company tows cars without stickers. She said that isn't helping her right now and I was being rude. I said I don't know why she is being so drama. She said just go have fun with your friends, I'll talk to you later. So I thought fine, I'll let her cool off. The next day she was mad at me, said she needed me and I wasn't there and I just wanted to hang out with my friends. That I should have asked her if she needed help...even though she never told me she did She got upset that I liked one of her friends photos on facebook. In the photo was her friend and some other girl I didn't know. Said that would only be ok if she was in the pic. She would go to my fb and look at my recent friends and say I was adding random girls if I had a new friend, but was actually my friends girlfriend

So about 2-3 times a week I'll come home and find my roommate playing GTA 5 and all he does is run around and beat women with hammers. He will often text me to make sure where I am. I think he may masturbate to this.

I just moved for the 8th time and I only have one friend but shes into partying and drugs so we never hang out. My self esteem is really low because i spend every single day alone and i feel like im the only teenager that never hangs out with anyone. My friend invites me to go to parties with her but every time that I go everyone there just does drugs n has sex and they never have anything interesting to say. Ok so I'm 16 she is 17 where r going into the 11th grade. Anyways her mom and her moms boyfriend have this friend he is 60 years old married and and very obese. I'm an 18 year old guy and nobody really seems to like me. I am autistic and I lack social skills so I'm always offending people on accident. My girlfriend seems to like me, but I feel like she's just infatuated with me and she won't like me either once she realizes what an awful person I am. I don't really have any friends except for this one I know on the internet, and we don't even talk that much. My parents get angry at me for being sad, and I'm isolated both at school and at work. Nobody talks to me. It's almost like I'm invisible. Then there's my therapist and psychiatrist. I think I annoy both of them because I can't explain stuff right. There's this town I live around, full of poor people, but a very low crime rate. My parents won't even let me go there, where most of my friends live. They say "have you seen that place? There's no nice houses" But and then they act like they feel bad for poor people, and they say not all poor people are bad. But and then when I ask them to hangout with poors, thy say they don't trust them. This question sounds stupid, but I wanna hang out with my true friends, which happen to be poor. I'm an 18 y/o teenager, and I have a very greedy father. He's always spending money on my brother and mother, and himself of course, always spending money to brag infront of people, but never on me, he rarely gives me a very small amount of money, that doesn't make any difference. I can't go out with my friends, because I'm tired of being the burden that they have to pay for, so I just stopped socializing sometime ago, and I find it a better solution. I'm a college student living with a swinger couple downtown. Its not a very nice house, but the rent is too good and its close to campus. Anyways, a few times a week I'll just be sleeping minging my own business, and my roommate, Angela, will just start playing with my jiblets! I'm not a particularly attractive dude either. I know this might seem dumb to ask but I feel like it's a totally normal response to be annoyed and kind of jealous when my two friends hang out. They've been friends for about 4 years when I've only been friends with them for about a year and a half. They have more history compared to me. But getting to the point, they always seem to make plans without me. It's not something they avoid, because they honestly don't at all seem to care about my feelings. If they hang out, they'll post pictures together on social media, almost in spite of me, and they will make plans without me purposely. If they have a plan in mind, I'm not even in there thoughts, only each other are. When we do hang out, it's usually rare and they always say things like, "Oh, this reminds me of yesterday at Dunkin' Donuts when blah blah did blah blah blah." They know I'm standing right there and they DO NOT CARE AT ALL. I'm getting a bit fed up with them, and I know if I only hung out with one of them, that the other would get wildly jealous and would immediately confront me. Please don't tell me to leave them because it's summer and that would mean I'd be alone. Also, we're going off to high school in a month and one of them is going to a different one, so that's why I'm trying to enjoy our last summer together. What should I do? I'm a 17 year old guy and I've been friends with this dude named Jim since kindergarten. I didn't really go over his house until I was about 7 though. His mom has always been mean to me. The first instance I could remember is when I was 9 and I was over his house. Me and Jim playing catch with a football and I kept dropping it. She started making fun of me calling me a sissy and a little homo. Then she grabbed it off me and said I was pathetic and she was embarrassed for me and took it in the house. So I stopped going over there until I was about 16. This time she was nice to me at first but after a while she started being mean again. Last week was the last time I was over his house. He invited a bunch of friends over for a pool party and to stay over. All his football buddies were there so his mom was outside hanging out with us. She kept insulting me and making fun of me so they would laugh. Then when ever everyone was talking she would say stuff like "nobody cares" to me. Finally Jim told her to stop and they started arguing. And finally she said "ok" and told me to " get the f:ck off my property" and she made me walk home at 2:30 in the morning in a rough ghetto neighborhood because I live on the other side of town. The next day Jim apologized for his mother and I acted like it was no big deal. But I'm still very pissed about it. I just feel so disrespected. It's like his mom still thinks she's a teenager and tries to fit in with the cool kids. I have never done anything for her to hate me either. The same thing happened to my buddy Jeff that used to go over there. He's honestly one of those computer nerds but honestly there's nothing wrong with that. It's pretty much all his friends that aren't preppy or an athlete are the ones she treats like crap.

I'm 17 and I told my mom this guy from my school invited me to his b-day party. Well I lied. I was actually invited to this raging party by this 19 year old guy I knew. Well my mom dropped me off at like 10 (which was very embarrassing because when she saw how big the party was she freaked out). Since I never do anything fun she agreed to let me go. Well me and my friend got super drunk/high to the point where we couldn't even call a cab. When we finally got to my house my mom knew I was drunk because she could smell it. Not to mention my friend couldn't hide her hangover the next morning. I don't know how to handle this situation...my mom partied like crazy when she was my age so she understands but she's also mad/disappointed. I said I was sorry and that it was just my one night of fun in high school but things are just so awkward! I've just been sitting in my room all day hungover, and at first my mom was like "well at least you had fun." But then later she was mad and was like "I can't believe u and ur friend did this!!!" I don't know what to do?? It's so awkward...idk if she is over it, okay with it, or really mad....

What's the point? I'm thankful for it but I'm not sure what the purpose is. I'm not one to judge on socioeconomic classes but even though I was from a rich neiborhood I'm acruelly living on my own in a new town and poor. But sometimes well to do adults say hello to me on the street and professors I don't know or people who work in offices in my school. At least this summer. Hey guys and girls, I'm 15 years old and there's this thing that has been disturbing for a really long time; let's say about 3 - 4 years already. I have this problem when I meet people whether it's from the park, the gym, the mall, the grocery or in my case, the school. I do have quite a lot of friends by the way, but why am I scared to talk to people I haven't met before (Strangers). Even though I become friends with them, there's this thing with me that I don't feel like that I'm worth as a friend. Because I rarely eye contact to them during a conversation, I don't bring up conversations, I stutter a lot to when I talk to strangers especially girls. But the only thing I think about is how I become talkative sometimes. I do have like 3 - 5 bestfriends, on whenever I'm beside them, I'm the one who's quite the loudest in the classroom. I could present in the front of the class pretty well, do have a clear voice most of the time and just recently aced English. One more funny thing is that I do YouTube, I talk a lot, vlog in public and etc. But why am I scared to eye contact, release my full opinion/things I have to say out there. Even to parents especially, why?! Example: I just became friends with these two cousins with my little brother in a school park, ask me how we became friends? I don't know why!? Me and this guy named Tom were supposedly friends. We worked together on the same team at this finance company for the past year. We were having issues on the business side of things the past few months. Tom said I can't work with you anymore Ryan. I am still at the same company as Tom just recently moved to a new team. Tom took a vacation from work at the finance company right after telling me in a very brief phone call that we can't work together on the same team. He hasn't been in the office for 5 weeks. I called Tom to ask where we stand and if we are still friends or what. He wasn't answering my calls or text messages for the last few weeks that he was on vacation from work from the finance company. This is the first time that I have ever showed up somewhere unannounced. Anyways I showed up at his family restaurant unannounced and Tom says to me right when I pulled into the parking lot I feel like I am being harassed right now and I am borderline going to call the cops. Then I said to Tom while sitting in the car, that I just came to hash things out face to face. Tom said we can't work together than I said so are we not friends. Tom said if that's what you want me to say. Then I got out of the car and Tom said I don't have time to talk my family is yelling at me to go pick up supplies for the restaurant. I then told Tom that he never explained to me how things were going to be. Tom then apologized to me for not explaining things and calmed down. Me and Tom spoke for like 30 minutes while standing in the parking lot. Tom said we just need to separate our teams from a business aspect. Tom asked me who would I liked to be work with in the company. Then Tom says I will find you a new team. The conversation took a pause and I stood their 1ft away from him and just stared at Tom in silence. Then Tom put his arms up motioning for me to go give him a hug Tom then asked me if I would like a bottle of water. I said sure and he went into the restaurant and brought me out a cold bottle of water. Then Tom says I will still invite you out to family events like my birthday party, Christmas parties etc and then Tom said we will definitely go get dinner and a beer together just not right now at this very moment. Then Tom gave me a side hug and Tom said are we good? That happen at the very end of the 30 minute conversation in the parking lot. Tom claimed the reason we couldn't work together anymore was because he needed to see instant results on the team and I wasn't providing that so he wants me on another team. Tom claims it was nothing personal. Based of all this and what he did at the end could it be he wants to be friends but doesn't want to work together in business? I'm 2nd year at university now and all throughout my life around this time of year I start feeling lonely, like I don't fit in with y friends. Like they don't care about me. It's not true, but it seems to be a state of mind I can't avoid. I can handle it better than I used to but I still feel like crap for a couple of months. Sad and lonely and "depressed". Most of my friendships don't survive this phase. I really don't want to lose the friends I have now. How do I get out of this? How do I stop thinking so negatively once a year? Any idea what could be causing it to happen on this annual cycle?

I have a boss at work who has a dry, sarcastic humor and sometimes dirty. Whenever I have to communicate something to him he seems to always have some type of comment to answer with. I would never give it back and I usually just laugh it off out of respect (he is my superior) but I feel like that is getting old now and annoying. How do I deal with this?

In all honesty, my friends are literally the most annoying people ever. One texts me everyday when she has about 20 other people to text. And I started ignoring her for a few days and today my mom finally forced me to answer her. The first thing she says is "why were you ignoring me?!" I literally just sighed and said my phone was dead. I went back to watching anime after that but she kept texting. She was saying how she thinks I do it on purpose. I mean yeah, it was on purpose, but still. Lol how do I deal with this?? When school starts again she is just going to try to be with me every minute she can. She acts like a slut and I can't take it. She is fat, I am not in anyways trying to be mean, but she is. She only wears bikinis that are literally the sluttiest thing ever. She is hairy and fat and ugly. I hate to say that about someone but it just is. She acts like a prick and thinks she is better than everyone. I don't understand why she likes me so much!! I'm 16, my mom & her friends (elana & Dona) instruct Zumba everyday for about a year. We have a very close family bond. I'm really close with Dona, she's always supported me through everything, celebrated my birthday with me & home coming,. I love her alot, she's always so sweet & loving to me. Recently Dona got frustrated bc she couldn't get the dance moves as quick as mom & elana; she got mad at elana, Dona feels she doesn't deserve to be on stage. She hasn't come to Zumba in 3 weeks, she's over exaggerating everything, we love her so much & have tried everything to get her back. She hasn't been acting herself for a while & no one knows why.. 4 days ago I texted her "just wanted to say I love & miss you so much Dona! Been thinking about you lately, I hope your doing great!" She put "aww love you & miss you too!😘😘😘" (I know she means it because she's a very serious, reserved lady who Is very straight up!) today she wasn't on my Facebook anymore, turns out she blocked me, mom & Elena. Why'd she block me??? She even got her son to block me & it hurt so much.. I cried to mom about it, mom said she's probably going through something & doesn't know how to handle it maturely. Why would she block me? I didn't do anything :( I really wanna text her 1 last time saying "I hope your having a great day Dona! Love & miss you so much!" (I always used to wish her a great day randomly) should I? I'm having so much trouble accepting she's gone, I miss her & it really makes me sick..

It's beyond annoying and it's nearly daily at things like school or around friends who want to joke around. I don't get it.. I can't help the way I was born. And I wouldn't even say I'm THAT short. I'm like 5'7 maybe 5'8 and weight like 130. I'm also 17. Does it get better when I'm an adult? Do people still talk crap about stuff like this in college and beyond? It's super annoying.

Things were simple once, for about two years in my mid-20s. I got what I wanted from people in my life. Then things changed: I grew as a person, and some "friends" proved to not like it--by simply making snide remarks, or not talking to me at all. When I stopped hanging out with them, they had the nerve to get angry. It's like: You haven't spoken to me at parties in years, and now you care? On top of that, I'm just not that easy to write off. I appear modest and quiet, but I'm actually quite adventurous and wild underneath. I'm constantly being written off before I even exhibit this side of me. I'm 33 now, and I just feel like this is life, huh? You have to be "simple" to be happy. Everything about you has to be easily understood. Too bad it's just not true for most of us...

I'm studying abroad with my friend this semester but I'm worried that I won't make as many friends as her. We are living in completely different dorms that are far away from each other, but she's a lot more extroverted than I am so I'm worried that she'll make lots of new friends quickly and I won't, and I don't want to be annoyingly clinging to her all the time. I met this girl at work driving buses. Whenever she passes me going the other way she waves, usually she sees me first. Few weeks ago she was parked at a bus stop and I was coming towards her and as I checked my right mirror I noticed her waving at me, but in a slow way with a soft look at me. Also on that day when overtaking my bus she looked back and waved at me. A couple of weeks ago we met at the bus terminal on the way to the toilet and she started a conversation with me. She would then talk about her getting into trouble for speeding by management. We were talking for about 5 mins. She said she was running late and needed to use the toilet and had better go. I left to go outside and she then came out after using the toilet and on passing me to get into her bus said she had bad hay fever, again as if initiating something So few days later she was coming towards me on her bus and she pushed her hair up but acted like she didn't see me and ignored me. So couple of weeks ago we both pulled up at bus stops on other side of the road from each other and she looked behind over her shoulder at me and waved. I looked at her but ignored her. So she waved again and again I kept looking but ignored her. She then looked puzzled and waved again and I smile laughed because she kept trying and she then had a little smile and drove off. She's just come back from holiday and when she saw me today she done a circular wave, like enthusiastically. My friend said she may have missed me

I'm going into 11th grade this year and last year I moved to a new state and met 4 girls and they were all close. I found out one of them was talking bad about me behind my back and I havent talked to her since. Now the other three have come to my house 5 times total in 1 school year and that was only so I would help them with Homework. So, a friend (Amie) & I (Ashley) have been friends since 2012. She went through some stuff with a mutual friend (Maleah) & complained to me about Maleah every chance she got, & it made me really uncomfortable. They eventually patched things up and all was well between the 3 of us again. Fast forward to January of this year. Amie and Maleah are back at it again and it's worse than ever. A legal battle has even errupted between the two of them. Maleah and I used to be very close, but after the first fight she had with Amie we drifted apart & never really got close again. I think there is no possible way the two will ever work things out again. Amie started up the same things again, talking about Maleah to me. I finally worked up the courage and told Amie I couldn't be part of any talk about the two of them. I'm pretty sure she took it personal. I've distanced myself from her since then. We're still friends on FB but she makes real passive aggressive type status updates that seem aimed towards me. She is a highly confrontational person and I am not, so she does intimidate me. Our entire friendship I've always visited her and bought little things for her, but she's never once visited me in my home (my man is kind of antisocial) or bought me anything. I feel like she tried to hijack my facebook & would tag me in 5 different things a day that had nothing to do with me. She, as far as I know, has never maintained any lasting friendship with any women. Continued in comments..........

so my mums going away for the weekend and i asked her if i could have a sleepover and she said no, but i want to do it anyway. its only girls and 6 of us. my sister will still be at home though my mum will be very angry if she finds out but getting grounded isn't a punishment

Ok so I've been friends with this girl (let's call her Sydney) for about a year and a half now. Sydney and I started talking on multiple social medias and have become good friends. Another friend of mine (Melina) asked me recently if I was going to Sydney's party. I asked about it and learned that she invited people over A MONTH AGO. I did tell Sydney I'm going to camp for a couple weeks around the time her birthday is. The thing is Melina is going on a road trip for a couple weeks during the time of Sydney's party, and she still was invited. Melina and I then started talking about motives as to why Sydney wouldn't of invited me. Sydney has been hanging out with another clique over the summer and has had no time for me and Melina. Some of the people in this clique don't like me also. I also am not that social so Sydney has been one of my few close friends. Finally during one of our conversations I said by the way are you having a party. She saw the text but hasn't replied in about two days. I am not looking to be invited, I'm just trying to figure out why she wouldn't invite one of her friends to her party. Did Sydney not invite because of this other clique or because of camp? What do I do?

Okay so I had a favorite teacher in middle school and highschool and we would eat lunch together and I'm a girl by the way. A couple times when I was in highschool we would go off campus for lunch and go to her house and I don't think she did that with any other student just me and one time when I was at her house I got stuck in her bathroom and I couldn't the door open and the knob came out in my hand and she's like I need to get that fixed and then another time we went off campus and got Chinese food and then took it back to her room at school and ate it. Was this all okay to do or was it weird?

So I am in my village and my 3 best friends are away for vacation and I have a hole to hang out with but she is very annoying so I ignore her but my mom makes it such a deal that I am not hanging out with anyone this week and she calls my cousins and this annoying girl to come and hang out with me like I will die if I will be left alone for a week. I chat with my friends and boyfriend in my hometown and I do not feel lonely at all but thanks to my mum now all the village knows I am alone and some kids my age here heard this from my mom and now they will think I am desperate or something. My best friends will come next Monday and tomorrow it's Saturday.

How do I cope with this?

I am a shy and extremely quiet girl who's going into 8th grade. I never talk in class unless somebody or the teacher talks to me or asks me something. None of my friends are in any of my classes either and I only have 2 or 3 good friends and a boyfriend, the rest of the people I know are acquaintances. I have never joined any clubs or after school classes or sports either. I have tried talking to a guy before but a few months he started ignoring me and blocked me on Instagram (I never stalked him). I feel like I was trying too hard to befriend him or seemed desperate by always trying to talk to him. I never smile or show any sort of emotion to anyone in class because I feel like if I randomly smile at someone that would be creepy. When I see people talking to each other in class I get sad and just look around because I feel like their conversations are none of my business. I have Asperger's too so how can I fix this? Also how can I talk to someone without looking desperate? This is my 3rd time having to ask this question since nobody answered it -_-

I'm 22 years old and I'm pretty much a wimpy Dweeb. I never stick for myself. I'm just scared to fight anyone. Even in non violent situations it's the same thing. Like my coworkers being rude to me or messing with me for no reason I just ignore it because I don't wanna start any problems. It gets embarrassing when a 16 year old girl co worker has to tell people to leave me alone. In high school I wrestled for one year and I was terrible. I never won a match. There were dudes that were scrawnier and shorter than me that would even kick my ***. I think it mainly has to do with the way I was raised. I was raised by my elderly aunt. She's real religious and humble. Ever since kindergarten she basically told me if anyone ever messes with me to break eye contact and keep walking and if they chased me to run. She wouldn't even let me do sports. The wrestling I did she didn't even know about. I honestly just feel pathetic. @bre. There is when people always walk over you and you end up being a follower instead of a leader.
