So my mother recently discovered facebook about 2 months ago and lets just say she spends a great deal of amount there, she does not work, well she does work but as a housewife so she is at home the whole day. So my sister (16) recently complained to here that ever since she got facebook she doesnt really cook anymore or clean and she is just on the couch on facebook, now let me just say something, every morning my sister washes the dishes and vacuums, i sweep, take out the trash, and clean the kitchen counter and stove and cook breakfast. She still thinks we dont do enough but the way i see it is that my dad works from 6-8 and we already help her, she agreed she doesnt want to work so thats why she stays at home so her job should be to clean and cook, and i cook for myself too im not picky at all if she doest feel like cooking then i will or ill have whatever. But ok she found out my sister made that comment and now she says she wont cook and have the house dirty on purpose ...shes the type of person that if she cuts a watermelon to have some she leaves all of the mess in the kitchen and im the type to actually clean up....yet she says she is clean and we are not... a psychologists diagnosed her with borderline personality but obviously she would need more tests, im just so frustrated its like walking on egg shells with her, and i have to hide my anger sometimes or she will be in a worse mood, i dont what to do anymore.

For the past week, he just decided to take my shoes (I paid for) and wear them to work! All because he has flat feet and refuses to wear his shoes now because he completely obliterated them. He has taken my Air Jordan 3s without my permission to his work and got them all creased up and dirty. He took my Air Max+ today and came home with the shoes completely ruined. There is a paste stuck on it that I can't get off. How can I tell him to stop taking my shoes?? Whenever I bring it up, he just ignores it. Remember, these shoes are EXPENSIVE!!! I always try to keep my shoes in mint condition but it's impossible when he stomps in mud and dirt and spills crap on them! If I try to hide them, he will literally search the entire house to find them!!! Ridiculous! He doesn't even want to buy his own pair, he just wants to take mine!

Ok so my family booked a holiday for everyone. Problem is, is that I didn t want to go. I ve told my parents and they didn t want me to stay behind. I m 19 and I really don t want to go.. Ive been looking for a job and I ve been getting anywhere... Is there anyway of backing out ? I ve always said I d pay them back but nope. They don t want to hear it.. Are there any other options? I m really wanting out and I am struggling on what to do. I ain t spoiled , I m well behaved. Just really don t want to go at all

I love my mom, I truly do. However, she's also the person I fight with the most in my household. Whenever I get into fights with a household member, either my mom or stepdad, I become violent. I punch/kick things, I scream and cuss but I never have the intention of hurting someone physically. When I get angry, a lot of negative emotions come out so I think me getting angry is an explosion of all the feelings I hold in. Do I get into fights with my mom because I'm taking out all my anger on her at once or am I unconsciously blaming her for the family troubles I get? I don't know who my biological father is so I have a stepdad. I've been verbally abused when I was little from him. That stuff barely happens now that I'm 18. I truly don't like my stepdad but my mom can't divorce him since we're still immigrants. However, my mom doesn't even want to become a US citizen. I've asked her many times about naturalization and she'd just shrug it off. Here are a few examples of the fights my mom and I have: -We are currently in a fight right now actually. My friends and I made plans to go out yesterday so I can teach them how to drive but that would mean I would need our car. I asked my mom if she was gonna take the car to work (she doesn't know how to drive but our neighbor drives her to work since they're workplace is located in the same area, my stepdad is injured atm). She said she'd take it so our neighbor can teach her how to drive. I asked if I could take the truck instead then since we have 3 vehicles, a truck, an SUV and a car. But my mom says no just because my stepdad has the keys for the other two. She doesn't even try to ask her own husband for the keys. I personally don't go out a lot so I got really pissed. Another fight was when my amazon mail came in. My mom and neighbor didn't use our car for work but my mom decided to take the keys for the car anyways. It was a Friday too so I had to wait 2 extra days to get my mail since it wouldn't fit in the box. I'm not a very patient person but I think that I was being a brat so I blame myself for the second fight.

Will my life get better. My son is 1 year old and he is very active. We go places but when I go to eat he won't sit and let me eat. When I wanna get ready is nearly impossible. If I clean he makes even more mess. I'm a single mother and it's really hard; I love my child of course but will it get easier:(?

I m a 15 year old girl and I do get good grades. Maybe not straight A s but it s mostly a s and b s. Maybe a c in gym but that s just cuz I can t really run fast like the other kids :/ and the teachers always tell my parents I m a good student. I never really ask for much. When we go to stores my younger sisters always get a bunch of toys they don t need and beg my parents to get it and they end up buying them stuff. I share rooms with my sister and she s so messy, so I get blamed for not cleaning even though I do but my sister messes it up right after :/ Im mature for my age. All the kids in my school don t want to be my friend cuz they think I m a gothic freak..I don t even look gothic but I guess i don t mind.I m friendly but quiet too and I always smile to people when I talk. I don t do drugs smoke or drink. I don t swear (unless it s when I m mad and I ll say it in my head or online lol) I used to be bullied and suicidal but now Im not really anymore. I don t hurt myself or anything so that s good.I don t tell my parents what my feelings are because I m scared they ll think I m joking Plus my parents or family actually aren t affectionate. And my siblings lie a lot to me. Sometimes my parents too so Im hurt cuz I don t lie to them. I have trust issues. they hit me when they get mad at me (doesn t have to be a bad thing) and leave a mark or bruise but I think they did it bc they care and I deserve it. They re not bad they re nice I guess but get angry for little stuff

I need HELP So its kinda tough with my gma. I have no freedom and im always depressed and every year befor we were tooken away my dad always took us camping for his friends birthday bash and this I really wanted tto go bc ive been going sence I was like 6. And my gma said no. I was upset. Then she said my brother and sister wernt going but then I figured out that they all went and now I feel left out. And I hardy see my family . And I asked if I can go next year and people drink there bc its a weekend party. So she yells about it and ive been going sence I was 6 and its like where was she then but now sence im liveing with her she cares . Things you need to know: -live in good apartment with ghetto black kids -usually don't feel safe outside -don't like communicating with new people/making friends -dad doesn't live with me -I'm not stereotypical.I am black and grew up in racially mixed high quality school district So mid July this kid (approximately 10 years old)asked my parents if he could come over.Then they said yes.I asked my mom why she said yes but she said because you need friends.Not just school friends.Which makes no sense because she has said before she didn't want me hanging out with the kids that lived there(some did drugs).Anyway we played on my wii u for awhile.And he left later that night.I didn't like the way he treated my dog and how he asked me for my iPhone!Then a couple days later we left to our dads place for two weeks.In New York.We came back.About a week later my older brother came to visit with his son and daughter.During then he asked if he could come over.We said no we have company.He left.Today.As my dad was leaving from a visit,and I helped with bags.He walked Over and asked if he could come over.I lied and said no we still have some company over they won't leave till tomorrow morning.30 minutes later,he came over and rang the doorbell I ignored him aggrevated after I already gave him an answer.He started to bang hard on the door.About an hour later he rang the doorbell multiple times and quickly left.I am now afraid of him.Something didn't seem right.Is he harassing?What do I do?

Ok, I am in the second semester of my first year at varsity and i really like what im studying (food science) but i am so lonely here and i miss my family(its just over 1000km away from home so i can go home but not all the time nd its a shlep. What should i do next year: 1) stick it out, because its only 3 more years of my life and i may not hate it as much later on 2) go to a varsity closer to home and do somethng simiar (i wld still not be able to live with family and ths one is in a more dangerous area, so i wld not hav the same freedom as i have here) 3) go to my local varsity where i can live at home (very small dull campus that only offers accounting ect, nothing that im passionate about) My problem is that im a loner (not a looser), so i liked being with my family, but im scared that if i go to varsity 2 i might actually get a life and then its too dangerous for me to enjoy it. And im worried that ill be even more bored at home and itll be back like when i was in school (wich was better than here but very boring) This is supposed to be the best time of my life and im hating it. please help.

Basically when I mums in a bad mood she'll shout at you and call me names. She calls me a spaz, lazy, fat ars, selfish cow, ***** and she's even called me a waste of space. I can remember when her and my dad (who is an alcoholic) argued when I was younger she'd say it was my fault and that I caused it. She denies everything she says and she's even threatened me. I'm just so sick of it all and I can't live like this any more. I'm 16 and can't move out yet due to age and I'm still in school and jobless. I don't know if theirs something wrong with my mum or if this is all my fault. Is this normal? I always thought that it was but now I'm not sure. It's got to the point that my heart pounds when I come home not sure what **** she'll say now. She makes me so angry that when she's screaming at me I feel myself beginning to slip and I want to push her and run. Anything goes wrong and it's my fault. I feel like my mental health is screwed as my own emotions are unpredictable and I can't form any strong bonds with people and please just tell me that this isn't ok? So yesterday was my wife's 25th birthday. I was going to take her out to eat but changed plans. I really didn't feel like going anywhere. Well, my sister in law had her baby last week and we didn't know where to leave her because she didn't want to be alone with the baby because she doesn't know how to handle the baby. And she says that she doesn't want to be waking up at night since she needs the rest. So I suggested my brother and I take her to my wife since my wife has experience with babies. We have 3 children together. The baby one has 5 months, crawling, and moving around. The moment I arrived with my sister in law she thought they we're visiting. When I told her that she was going to stay for a month or so she got really pissed off and gave me a look. She pulled me in the room and said no. She said, "sis in law wanted a baby, she's grown, she can do it herself. But I'll give her advice." So I told her to forget going out to eat. Now she's mad because I ruined her birthday. She's not being childish, she just doesn't want to bring it up. I understand that the last times we weren't able to go out to eat because we had other important things to do like laundry, groceries, visit my parents, or take my dad out. But there are plenty of birthdays coming for her. I already told her not to do anything for mine but she always does. Now I don't know how to make it up to her. And she also won't help take care of the nephew.

I take what he says very seriously and personally because I know very well that I am ugly. He is 24 and I am 16. I have been bullied and called ugly since middle school. I've cried before because of being called ugly and compared to girls my age and asked why I can't look like them. I have frizzy hair so I always wear it up. I wear glasses too. I am not pretty. I hate that about myself. In my house I like to relax and not care about the way I look, I wear a T-shirt and shorts and just relax. Every day for almost a year he has been coming up to me and telling me how ugly I am and that I look like a boy. He says, "You have a lot of flaws and you'll never look like a teenage girl. But you know what? I won't even comment anymore," and then he starts laughing and telling me how ugly I am again. Every day. For years. He is telling me how disgusting and ugly I look and telling me to die. He is very shallow and always pays attention to how every girl looks and he thinks blond girls with tons of makeup in dresses are beautiful, typically those girls from Disney channel. He always compares me to them. HE IS 24. He says such horrible things I cry and scream, I take it so personally it's driving me insane. None of my parents help me or tell him to stop, they blame me instead. Please help. What should I do? He stares at my face and says how ugly I am, that he's never seen anyone uglier, how am I even a girl, etc.: I hate the way I look and I didn't choose it. I wish every day that I can look like the other girls my age. I hate my hair and my face with a passion. I always beg my parents for new clothes, to get my face fixed up, to wear make up, but they always say no. I've never used make up once. I try to ignore him when he reminds me of my disgusting appearance but I can't anymore. I end up crying and screaming like crazy to take out my anger. He calls every girl who isn't pretty ugly. There was a girl on TV who was a bit overweight and had frizzy hair and he turned off the TV because he was disgusted. Then he looks at me and says, "Well, she isn't as bad as you." He throws things at me and treats me like a guy and his excuse is that I am hideous. Oh and whenever I happen to wear something girly, like a skirt or a dress or if I do something with my hair, he stares at me disgusted and laughs his head off. He says, "Those clothes are for girls! And no matter what you wear, you'll still be ugly. I can't believe you think wearing that will make you look better! I can't believe you even try! You're hopeless!" I am so sick of it I just don't know anymore. no one's going to answer this wow ok cool I do NOT watch Disney channel. My 24-year-old brother does.

I have a cousin who lives a block away from me and who keeps coming over every day and it's driving me NUTS! She has a slight mental disability; she was laid out on her stomach unsupervised when she was a baby in daycare, luckily her mom caught it but half of her brain doesn't get as much oxygen because of that. Shes 23 but has the mind of a twelve year old. She is obsessed with games like IMVU, the Sims, Secondlife ect but told me that she's gone through numerous laptops because of the viruses (not including the sims) which is why she continuously shows up at my house to play on my laptop. She unfortunately doesn't understand that other people require down time so she shows up at my house every day. I'm an introvert so I don't really enjoy company like that especially when it's unannounced. I entertained her last week every day just about. If I tell her I'm tired she'll say "ok I'll just come by tomorrow" if I don't answer the door, she'll just sit on my doorstep and ring and ring and then eventually she'll start banging on my door which I don't like because that makes me think something is wrong. If I tell her I'm out, she'll wait on my doorstep until I get home, won't even let me change. My parents just tell me to make up an excuse but I don't like lying to her especially every day. She has friends but shuts them out. I love her to death but how do I kindly tell her to leave me alone?! I start college next week and I'm trying to prepare! I don't have time to entertain her

I'm about to turn 18 and every year around my birthday, because it's in the school holidays, I normally have a day out with my parents. We've never been to hever castle before and I was wondering if maybe I'm now too old to enjoy. I've always wanted to try archery but is it really just for children? I mostly like to take pictures so is it a nice place for that? It looks quite picturesque on the website. Also, if we do end up going, what do you reccommend doing, there just seems so much going on!

My step dad hates me. The reason i say that is because him and my mom act like I don't exist. Plus they are irresponsible and are lazy. Its always up to me to clean everything even if I've been gone to my friends house or wherever else. My step dad has called me names and just the other night i heard him talking to my mom outside of my window about how he was gonna "kill" me and i didn't know what it was about until the next day he asked me if i took cigarettes out of his tool box. He's even called me a ***** to his family and then another time, i stood up for myself and he kicked me and my mom out of the house! Then one other time i was with my friend going out of town and apparently i lied about not cleaning my room so he called me and told me that he shot my cat and killed her. and made me cry in front of my friends family and i couldn't explain to them why.. Who does that?? ALSO in early July, we went on vacation and he hit my mom and then left us. Like seriously he drove 2 hours away in our car and then eventually came back to get us. I just got really tired of him being rude to me and telling me what i can and can't do, so i started acting reckless and i decided that i was going to sneak out. Buuuut, i got caught and my mom told him and he woke me up this morning and told me that i was grounded forever and I'm never gonna get my phone back and then told me he was gonna make my life"hell" Such a douche bag. I'm just looking to find some way to go against him. Oh yeah, and I'm 16.

I getting fed up with my mom she is ou T of control

I get mixed messages from my mum, sometimes I feel like she loves me and other time I feel like she doesn't. I'm always the first to tell her that I love her, she's never the first to tell me. I have a baby brother, she always tell hims that she loves him and she always tells him he's beautiful ect. My mum never tells me that I'm beautiful, she once said that my brother is the most beautiful baby she's ever seen. And when I'm ill, she just says 'when are you not ill' or 'you'll be fine', she never comes to check on me. earlier today I couldn't go into a shop because i hate small spaces, I can't breathe in them, and my Nanna got mad at me, but my mum just kept quiet. I was once really ill with a condition and I couldn't go to school and my Nanna told me that I was lazy and dumb and that I wouldn't have a good future, my mum once again kept quiet. I am the product of rape and my brother was planned, I feel like she sees me differently. My family do show me love, but I can't help but feel confused.

okay so today really made me mad. I had a guess over at my house and my dad got mad at me because he said no but I told my brother to ask him if it was okay and my brother said yes and I brought her into my house and my dad yelled at me and thought i was lying. Then when the guest left I went back upstairs in my room and closed the door and my other little brother had trouble opening the door and my big brother thought I locked it but I didn't then I started to cry because he thought I was lying. I admit I lie sometimes,but what really hurt me is that I'm being called a liar by my own family.

They are very confrontationa, I have a 2yr old with my kids father (my boyfriend) and my inlaws aren't really on the greatest grandparent list. I say that because every weekend they party and every weekend there is a new story about them getting into group fights with random people at times. But just yesterday they called my boyfriend to go meet up with them knowing we where spending time together and told him to head over to help. Instead of leaving. So my boyfriend did and instead of his mother calling him to turn back around NOT TO GO her best friend that was with them called me and told me to tell him that the people are caring weapons in there cars. By that time my boyfriend was there already there. Should I talk to my inlaws about how it bothers me that they would just call him to go fight knowing he has a 2yr old son and a girl that is home worried. I don't want my son losing his father over his grandparents drama. (DONT GET ME WRONG IF I WAS THERE WITH HIM I WOULD TAKE MY KID AND LEAVE AND I COMPLETL UNDERSTAND THAT HE WOULD THEN FIGHT, BUT TO DO SO FOR PEOPLE WHO ALWAYS GET INTO FIGHTS EVERTIME THEY LEAVE THERE HOME)

My brother is two years older than me, half a foot taller, and seventy pounds of muscle heavier. When he is angry, he can (and will) throw me into doors, kick me, punch me, and so on. A few times he has feigned stabbing me with knives. A few times, when I told him he was scaring me, he said, "Unlock your door and I'll show you something to really be scared of." Once or twice, he has told me to kill myself. If he really wanted to, I believe he could kill me. We stay home alone together quite often, such as after school and during the summer, due to our parents working full time. We ignore each other in daily life, and so everyone assumes there are no big problems between us. However, when something provokes him, he can also be verbally abusive. (At least, it seems like verbal abuse to me.) He calls me weak, worthless, mentally unstable, immature, dramatic, etc. I've told two friends of mine about him and what goes on in our house. They both told me, "You say he 'abuses' you, but what evidence of that do you have?" They are determined not to believe me, always putting quotes around "abuse" as if to trivialize the situation. Are they right? Am I making too much out of this?

I'm 15 years old and my parents have a business and they are having to be constantly be calling people and making emails and making appointments, and neither one is good at that so I do it all for them. I make them appointments with people and I email everyone and I call people and all that jumbo fun bo. Also I keep track of there accounts and I pay all there bills and that stuff too. I Also spend my days in this car and I have to go to people to get checks and I have to go change checks and deposit money and I basically live in this car. I'm rarely home. Sometimes they ask for so much I get over wellemed and I'm only 15 and I get tired pretty quickly. They stress me out, and don't get me wrong. I'm not angry. I understand that my parents can't do this and that they don't have time and I have to, and I don't really mind. I have my own little home office and sometimes I enjoy it I have all my little folders, and I'm a pro at excel and I do it all. anyway. the problem is my parents get me over wellemed with all their demands and I get so stressed and I just need help on how to cope with all they ask me and all the stress they give me. please help. thank you. gracias

She seems like a nice girl, I'm just so jealous when my brother told my mom, she isn't his fiance yet. My brother and I have never been close, we stopped talking regularly when we were younger and we don't talk much anymore. I really wish we were closer, I would love to be friends with his fiance, but first I wish I was friends with him. So i'm just extremely hurt when I think of my brother leaving with his wife. school starts in a month and this summer sucked. my moms has a neck problem so she can't drive and my dad goes to work and I'm 16 but its illegal to drive under 18. some of my friends travelled while others went to the mountains/country side. I'm from the city and I dislike my mountain house cause there's no one to talk to. anyways, any ideas on what to do before the summer ends? My mother says that I get mad at her and my dad because he is more affectionate with her than me. I have never heard anything as stupid as that in my life. My dad talks down to me. He's always asking me why I'm not paying any attention to him. But he doesn't understand that I don't need to pay attention to my parents 24/7. I feel like THEY'RE the children. So my sister is 20 and I was wondering if I could live with her... I live with my mom right now and just living here is so stressedful she hits me and what not when I talk back to her or do something she doesn t like, she never trusts me so I m always on lock down basically all the time, she controls my life 24/7... Whenever I sit down at dinner with my mom and dad, I almost always end up with an unnecessary argument with my dad. When I tell him that I just want to end the conversation because "I don't want to argue" (my words), my dad feels that I am trying to censor him and that I am trying to dictate the conversation, and that he wants us to bee equals (which is what I want), but then goes on to say that I don't have the choice to stop talking and end that conversation. I even told him "I don't want to stop talking (that was his worry I think). I just want to change the topic" and to him that counts as dictating the conversation, yet when he forces me to talk about that, he is not? I told him that he was the one dictating the conversation and that what I want works both ways making us equals. We both get to talk when we want to talk. My question is more of, What should I do in a situation like this? Also, my dad try's to give me advice (which is not anything that really matters because he is an extremist) and I simply don't agree with it and don't want to even talk about it because there is nothing he can say, no magical words, that will change my mind. What can I do? Also, I want to add that my dad (like I said is an extremist) told me that if I don't what to talk, (which I never said. I wanted to change the topic) then that means I have life completely figured out on my own (which I never said) and that I can just leave home if I have everything figured out. I mean what the hell dad? I want to change the topic of conversation and I almost get kicked out? Really?

I am 17 and I live in Maryland, my parents are living in Florida in order to take care of my little sister my parents moved and I stayed in Maryland working and going to school paying for my own expenses but I have no insurance, I recently got a cavity and realized how expensive it is to do things without insurance please help me

(I'm fourteen years old.) Okay so I was going to the beach with my grandma and my little brother. We were going to get my brother a sandwich from subway for dinner. I was wearing a bikini (I think... It was a two piece and the top resembled a tank top) and shorts. I didn't have any clean cover ups and it was too hot to wear a shirt, shorts and a bathing suit. I was putting my jacket on because I didn't think it was appropriate to walk into a sandwich shop in a swimsuit. I guess I was taking to long to put it on. My grandmother said, "Come on. You don't need it. I hate to say it, but you look like a twelve year old." This really stung. Mostly because I thought I was going to look like that for a very long time. Even when I turn twenty and stop growing. And a lot of people say that small isn't good, big is better, come back when you have grown up. Also, I always feel like a twelve year old around my friends. The next day, I was in a store with my mother. She was getting me a few bras. She noticed that I looked slightly upset. I told her what my grandmother said. She told me not to listen, that I'm not twelve I'm my fourteen year old self and that it took years to look the way she does now. She also told me that when I get to be her age I'll be grateful for looking young. When I was six I wasnt growing at all (in height and weight). I was underweight. I was told to eat more candy :). Does that have anything to do with it?

She always have to criticize me... But our main problem is the fact that she believes that I don't clean often. Come on, I don't have to clean the entire house everyday, I sweep the floor, clean the windows and tidy up the house every two days. I am 16, nearly 17, and I'm on vacation right now. Even if I have time, I don't want to do only that. She says that when she was a teenager she always helped her mother with the farm, the animals, the house, etc. It was really hard for her, but she says that was the way she showed respect. She keeps talking to me during long hours (true story) about everything and so on but it makes me really mad because I waste time and it worsen my mood. She always say the same things, criticize me, saying things like I hate her, and don't respect her, I am a failure etc. But, I mean, I am a clever student (well I have some issues on some topics but I can improve myself), my room isn't perfect but I am organized, I am engaged into some NGOs, I am smart and polite, etc. But she wants a perfect daughter who cleans the house everyday, educate her three siblings, and has got the best grades! Really... it seems ridiculous but arguing with her everyday kills me little by little. I never start the fight! It makes me want to go away from this place, to not see her everyday. I am really tired, help.

Im 15..year after next year im goin to study in september and my parents are telling me they dont trust me so its best i dont study at all. they are treating me like a little kid.When i was smaller everything used to be open but now im older and they still think i dont need privacy.they never knock on the door..If im going out i always have to be with them..If im anywhere and i see anyone i know they always scream "Let Go" and embarrass me ..They are church folks and the entire church is coming down on me thanks to my parents. dont get me wrong i love them but they have to realise that im getting older.. they even go as far as monitoring my period and if all of us are sitting in the living room and i get up to go with my phone they order me to leave it or ask me where im going..I dont get to even go to the movies with my friends only with them and for this entire summer i stayed at home ..they tell me im too young to have boy's number on my phone and that i should stop communicating with my friends and only communicate with people from church..i found no help at all and everytime some one trys to help they insult the person and tell them "Dont tell me how to raise my child" please someone asking for help they are driving me crazy.

Well, so I've been having arguments with my dad and I honestly dont know what to do now. He really hates it when I play my video games and is really dictator-like. Im those types of kids that prefers to keep to himself and doesnt like hanging out with my friends. and most of my friends are the same as me. I also like to play video games and usually spend 3-4 hours per day playing and maybe 2 hours per day browsing the internet. He's really demanding and imo blocks way too much stuffs. -No computers after 6pm -Internet is restricted after 10pm or so -Maximum of 4 hours leisure time(tv, internet, gaming, phone, etc.) per day -expects me to go to the gym everyday -signs me up for classes and camps that are out of my interest -expects me to be more social And these are all of his restrictions for me during the summer break. Cant wait for school to start, hehe But then, I also think he should be less strict because I honestly think Im a good kid -I get ~85% in school (except for english cause im an esl student taking academic english) -never tried drugs or alcohol (while most teens have tried alcohol) -dont get into fights or problems with teachers -my teachers says that im respectful and polite although my parents think the opposite -goes to my youth group meetings from my church. and im also the captain of my school chess club So what do you guys think? should I go to a guidance counseller? or should I just give up my hobby and follow my dad's wishes?

Ok I'm the youngest out of three and the only girl. My bother is 17 and the other one is 21. Alright I'm so goddamn sick of those 2. I get that my brother is 21 and he still lives with us but he doesn't follow any of the rules in clouding the 17 year old. The 17 year old gets his then comes upstairs and just eats everything so my parents said they aren't gonna buy snacks for us anymore. That's not fair to me cause I need food and stuff like that. Then the 21 year old got a girl pregnant recently and no thing happened. She lives with us now and ****. If my parents found out I was having sex (I'm not) then my *** would be grass. My 17 year old brother came home at 3:10 in the morning nothing happened to him, all my mom did was take away his xbox and the computer. My dad doesn't even say anything to them ever. He literally doesn't care. When he found out my 17 year old brother was smoking and getting high he didn't do **** and all he said was,"We are gonna pray for him." No what you need to do I whoop his ***. I don't care how old children they aren't to old to get their *** beat. It's just sometimes I think that I'm a better parent than my own ******* parents. I don't want to feel that way but it's just god I'm sick of it. What can I do? I just want to them to listen. They don't have any mental disabilities so I don't know what the **** is wrong. I'm the youngest one and I have more sense then them.

Anyways, i m not at all happy working there, mostly because of working with a few people(oldest brother in particular), which is stressing me out to an extreme. It s a joke really I feel like, since I no longer want to see any of my family out of work because of it. I get paid pretty well which is really the only reason why i m staying/feeling obligated to stay. But anyways, was wondering if I should even be working there if I am feeling this way. Think it s a no brainer, but I m the youngest of the family and can t seem to find any other solutions other than working less there.

Imagine - You are at a hotel getaway with your kids and wife. After a long and over stimulating evening (seriously, it felt like a herd of people trampled over you), your wife says "I'm going to go find a vending machine because I'm thirsty" and you know water bottles are going to be $3 or more, and you know she's not the only one thirsty after a long day in public, so you suggest to go shopping at the local super market to get an entire mini fridge of water bottles for half the price. After leaving the store with water and breakfast foods (but feeling even more drained) if your wife says "We didn't have to go to the store, I could have went to the vending machine"; what is she trying to say to you - My assumption - She was being selfish and wasn't thinking of anyone else and how anyone else might be thirsty. OR. She was willing to spend $12+ on four 16 oz. water bottles and pay $$$$ for breakfast in the following morning. Honestly, I need to stop trying to figure out my wife; she just doesn't have linear and focused thinking like I do...

I have noticed a lot of odd behavior going on lately. Our cell phone Bill is off the charts, and I don't even have a phone so it's not me! He works late all the time and his hours change like crazy. The job he has shouldnt be changing hours like that- one time he was gone for three days. He made some excuse about something coming up. Whenever my mom touches his cell phone, he gets all angry, and he won't let my little brother play games in it anymore. His colleagues are always calling him late at night, and he has lots of odd contacts I've never heard of in his phone. My grandfather cheated on my grandmother which is why I'm worried, and I'm old enough to understand what this means. I was hoping I could get a second opinion. (I'm a 16 year old girl, by the way, and I really, honestly don't have a phone!) My brother and sister are 12 and 8, and aI was also wondering what would happen to us.

Its a bit embarassing to admit but we forgot to check that the door wasnt locked and didnt notice that he opened it and came inside and saw what we were doing for a good time and then shrieked realizing it wasnt normal We werent covered by bedsheet and I dont know how much can it scar him... .I've not talked to my sister about it but should we take him to a psychologist...also i'm fearing that he might explain what we were doing to others as a matter of childish curiosity???

My mom always meets new guys and after knowing them for like a week, lets them stay at our house. She trusts people too easily. This is a problem for me because it also affects how I have to act. He's bringing his dog which hasn't even met mine yet (what if they don't get along?) I'm 18 so I can move out and stay with my dad for a while. However, I don't have a tag or insurance for my car yet and I also don't have a job (but I'm planning to when my car is fixed). My dad doesn't have a license, but he does have a car that I could possibly use. Would that be legal? I feel that it's my responsibility to leave and sort everything out myself now since I'm an adult. What do you think?

My boyfriend. My daughter can't stay because he only has a one bedroom apartment !! My mom will watch my daughter until I can find my own apartment ! Yesterday I asked my boyfriend if he found someone else because all weekend long he wasn't the same and always on his phone and he's never like that . I am a high school senior guy with a 13 year old sister Lisa that I really like. My high school buddies like to hang out at my house and they also like Lisa a lot. Lisa has a lot of homework and she often ask my buddies to help her with her homework. They are happy to help as they enjoy helping her. Since they have started helping her, her grades are much better. Lisa is a very affectionate person so after her homework is finished she thanks the guys for their help, hugs them and gives them a kiss. THEY LOVE IT. It is not a romantic thing with her. It is just her way of saying thank you. My buddies just like being kissed by a beautiful girl. They act like they are just helping their little sister. I am afraid my buddies will get the wrong idea of Lisa's intentions. Do you think they will? Should I tell her to stop the kissing?

My parents are upset that I'm moving out and I'm going to move with my aunt near Fresno area. I'm gonna get a new fresh start in my life because simply the old one is not working out for me. My mom Is upset because I'm leaving and I wanna leave because my father has a gambling addiction. She tries to use religion on me, and is attempting to every possible way to make me stay. I don't wanna stay here, and my father is also upset but he doesn't realize the damage he's created and so I'm moving forward with my life and striving for the better... Any advice???

this is going to happen within a week. Dad is sick and on oxygen,just got released so he can work part time. Step Mom is finishing school two weeks left and sounds like she has some jobs lined out. They are getting evicted,cant pay rent when hes lost his job(ran out of medical leave). So we offered to put them up,its that or they move 5 hours away to stay with another kid. Im looking for boundaries we should set and any advice so we all get along okay and dont midnight murder each other. Fyi they said theyed help with food,bills,and dad wants to fix our deck. Anyone else been there? How can i help them feel more at home?

My cousin is a year old. Her mom obviously has an eating disorder but I don't know why she over feeds my cousin. She gives her a huge meal for breakfast lunch and dinner. She also makes her nap for almost 6 hours everyday. It makes me really sick just watching. My cousin tries to spit out the food and tries to cover her mouth so her mom won't feed her any more but it doesn't stop her mom just gets angry. What do I do about this? Should I do anything?

So recently I've realized I don't really like football anymore. I don't like practicing and I feel like it's a chore. I don't like going to the games and it just is boring to me and I don't have a passion for it anymore. I've played for seven years and I feel like I'm disappointing my family by not playing. The only reason I'm afraid of not playing is because I feel like I've let down my dad. Everyone keeps telling me I'll regret it. I'm not worried about what I'll regret in the future but I'm worried about my dad being disappointed in me. He keeps saying how I use to run around and say football is my favorite sport. And I just feel like I'm doing something wrong by not playing

Ok so first things first, I am currently in my early teens and into gaming, throughout my life I have had very understandable restrictions towards my gaming. Recently my parents decided that I could not touch a single game or even view on on youtube until the weekend, I only have 4hrs of free time i the afternoons and I see no reason for this and have asked them why, they say I don't spend enough time with them and not enough time outside. On top of this my dad is in the film industry and says that with games you can't experience any story telling or plot development in game. I have tried everything to lift this restriction but it always ends the same. the hard part about this is not if the game is violent or the impact on my education but it's what i do with my free time they see as a problem. Any helpful replies are appreciated

Every so often me and my older brother spend time with our Aunt and her daughters and for the most part it's great. She's often really nice, loves shopping and is really girly but often she is doing everything to ensure my brother is happy. Me and the girls usually go out and do our own thing while she is being all nice to my brother. She's given him a job and often takes him on business trips to a different country for a few days. She always showers me and her daughters with gifts but much of her attention goes towards him. I never receive too much cuddles but she's always a lot closer to my brother and it annoys me. She rarely kisses me on the lips or is as warm with me. I'm always being told how beautiful I am but she treats my brother like a king. Should I talk to her about this?

Well my sister is 11 the youngest she is getting rid of her dolls soon she thinks she's too old. So she feels bad about playing them and doesn't want her friends to know. Now I'm 17 and I know How tough it was at that age. Does my 23 yr old sister but she's 23 and she video tapes her playing with them and snap Chet's it to my cousin and her boy friends little sister!!! Now her boyfriends little sister is 12 gave up her toys when she was 6. She is a fan girl . My cousin is 13 and my sister looks up to her and is her puppet they are good friends. My sister changed that she brings my cousin to her boyfriends house to play with his sister. She is now a I'm sorry but a itch and is rude to my sister. 11 isn't really that old but snap chatting it to them my sister saw her and yelled "stop!!!" I saw her send it to them. She puts this 12 yr old I'm our family's life to much and thinks she knows us like that and gives her OUR business. But she plays with dolls once In a whiles and gets video taped by a 23 year old then lies and says no I didn't . Like wow wtf her boy friends niece is 11 and plays with dolls everyday my lite sister told me and seed her. My little sister isn't immature just she's getting rid of them next week and just wanted to say bye now these kids her age thinks she still plays with them daily. Everyone who has gotten in my life, friendship, love etc... somehow did not last because my family never approved of them. I always felt like a victim never trusted anyone. i was a lonely teenager always seeking love at the wrong places. I was given everything from start but i wasn't happy. When i went to college i realized that people in my family only liked me because what they could get from her. Since i was living with them it was very hard on me. Because everytime i have tried explaining to my mother they turned her against me. They even had my cousins, even the little ones spy on me and report what i would tell them so they can use it against me when talking to my mom.i feel like everything i try to build is always destroyed. They even introduce me to friends they know they can control. Even to get my own place was a nightmare. I still had to live on ground level a block away from them so they can send the kids to spy on me.i have caught the kids at my patio door listening to me before. Now i realize if i do not help my family they stop their kids from seeing me. Now their kids hate me. My relationship with my boyfriend is slowly getting destroyed because everytime my mom always tell me something bad about him. I don't know who to believe him or them. When i confide in her i know she will confide in them because it will always come back to me in a conversation. I don't know how to shut my mouth. Because i have been raised to open up to my family. What do i do?

We are both Christian. But the only thing that matters to my mom is money. She complains my boyfriend can't pay all the time for me and my sister. But not under his personal situation. I have been slowly developing a friendly relationship with a coworker who I find very attractive. We have been talking more and more every day. Recently, we went to lunch together. I think this could lead to more than a friendship. But, last weekend while stopped at a red light, I looked over at the car beside me and it was her....She waved, then I saw a sudden facial expression change. It was a sign of disgust.
