I have never been to a bridal shower. Any ideas on what I should get the bride?

My wedding venue only allows 90 people, 60 of those people are my fiancé family which wouldn t be fair to me, so we rearranged our list to accommodate both families. Only problem is, I can t invite a single friend from work.I let them know that I m unable to invite them to the wedding and they understand that. However I still feel like throwing a get together with them a few weeks before...is that appropriate? What would that invitation look like? Sorry I can t invite you to the real wedding but I hope you enjoy this party?...I m not sure, but I would love to include them somehow

My mom is a methadone addict and her and my aunts do not get along. My mom is begging to come but I also do not want my soon to be husband get mad because she harrassed him and I do not want my aunts to get upset. I want no drama and I thought about having my aunts in the first row and my mom in the back row and not even invite her. Advice?

My aunt is having an outdoor wedding very soon and hired me to be her photographer! However I am not sure if I should dress professionally, like I would with any other client, or dress up as if I were going to her wedding as a guest along with the rest of my family. I want to take her wedding as an opportunity to build my portfolio and be as professional as I can, but I also do not want to stand out and feel excluded from the rest of my family on such a wonderful occasion.
