My brother is always trying to tell me what to do and trying to control me. Like, if I'm at home just watching TV or texting my friends, he'll tell me to stop, and do my homework instead. And he's always trying to control when I come home. I drive myself to and from school, so I don't always come home right after school, and he'll constantly text me, asking where I am, saying that I should be home by now, and when I do get home, he tries to lecture me on the "rules," that I'm supposed to come home right after school, which is stupid! I usually just ignore him, but it causes so many fights. He claims that he's allowed to tell me what to do, since I'm 16 and he's 25, and he's technically my legal guardian since our parents died, but I know that my parents wouldn't have wanted him to be this bossy or controlling. When they were alive, they'd always tell him to back off when he started telling me what to do, and they weren't very strict with me at all. My brother is so different and I can't stand him! What should I do?

My boyfriend and I have been in a relationship for 5 months but had been friends for 5 years. My boyfriend just recently moved out his mother house, because his mother felt like I was taking him away from her and disrespecting her because my boyfriend is changing into a man, and his sister came to the house talking trash. So he moved to his dad's house and they were okay with me visiting. So then after a few weeks my boyfriend brother said he can come move in with him so my boyfriend can be closer to his college and said that I could come along. So I moved in and everything was great, until recently my boyfriend sister come over trying to take over and make me mad so she could run me off. I told my boyfriend and he got mad and confronted them. They tried to play innocent and he felt like the issue wasn't serious and that they wasn't against me. His sister has came at me wrong on 2 occasions now..and he feel like he shouldn't say nothing to her because he need her...it making me feel like he need her more than he need me. It's understandable that's she family but if she comes before me and you still team her...what I am with you for just to be here and she disrespects me.

ok im a cancer he's a virgo im 23 and my soon to be 32 year old boyfriend of 1 year dumped me while we were out "celebrating" the night before our anniversary so he surprises me by picking me up and taking me to a bar the night before he was even going to make a cake for me and as soon as we got there he started talking sh*t he started saying my lips where chapped so i grabbed my lip gloss and i re glossed my lips and he said it wasnt good enough then he saw i was pissed and started talking about how he's glad i finally got a nice weave and why didnt i get an expensive nice weave before now and my hair lately was looking dry old and ugly then i said "if you loved me at all you wouldnt be say this" and he said thats the problem i cant fall in love with you you think time equals love you and your parents both thing i need to be proposing and fallin in love because were at the one year mark and im not even close to that and started saying i let myself go i wasnt on his education level and i couldnt have a intellectual conversation with him if i tried because im still in college and he has 3 degrees so when we left the bar he started saying i wasted his money why would he spend all this money an a anniversary weekend and a gift for me and i cant even make him fall in love or "keep myself up" and i "used him " and dumped me he even told my parents he didnt want me anymore but i want him back cause i feel gulity for not being a better gf he still seems to text me everyday BUT HE CLAIMED JUST LAST WEEK THAT HE DIDNT WANT TO BE FRIENDS WITH ME EVEN AND WONT ALLOW ME TO SEE HIS DOGS NOW THAT HE'S BEEN ON A BUSINESS TRIP HE'S BEEN TEXTING ME EVERY DAY TELLING ME HOW HIS DOGS MISS ME AND HOLDING A CONVO HE HASNT MENTION US GETTING BACK TOGETHER JUST ABOUT HIS DOGS AND HIS TRIP AND HASNT TOLD ME HE MISSED ME OR WANTED ME BACK BUT KEEPS TALKING TO ME AS IF HE'S PICKING UP WHERE HE LEFT OFF SHOULD I ASK HIM IF HE WANTS ME BACK OR WAIT TILL HE COMES BACK IN TOWN IN A FEW WEEKS?

I noticed on a Co worker a mark under her eye and a large bruise on her wrist. She hasn't been wearing her wedding ring in the past few weeks after it was rumored that her husband caught her in an affair with the boss.

I've been at a low place in my life and I'm just not doing too great.. my friend has noticed and has checked up on me a lot lately because of how I've been, I cried to her on the phone the other day as I wasn't doing great at all. (Which I've never cried to her before) She talked to me for a long time, she even said how heart broken she'd be if something happened to me, how I'm like her kid. She got after me and put me in heck, she's a blunt person. She even threatens to drive all the way over here and whip my butt. She's helped me through a lot but she told me she's monitoring me and watching what I post and making sure I'm fine or not doing anything dumb. Why is she doing all of that? She even put me in heck the other day (got after me) for considering something bad. Why has she been all over me like that? She even told me if things got worse she'd call my family.. she's super caring to me but why is she all over me? I'm 20 and she's 40, we're very close friends.. like I had said, she said she would be monitoring my posts and if she saw anything that worried her she'd call my mom. I decided to deactivate it. Should I tell her that I did? Or just let her find out... all though if she searches my name and I don't pop up, I don't want her to think I blocked her.. Why is she so worried about me?

how to deal? its my teacher, i think she s so cool. she s 50 or something and just really like her work, but i feel weird about it and i don t know why? lol like it makes me shy!

My girlfriend has been very sad lately. Her uncle died a few weeks ago. It's been hard for her he wasn't around much he lived 3 hours away she saw him maybe every other 5 years. It's a family she's close to but doesn't see much. She feels bad because she didn't get to go see him or say goodbye to him. She's usually not one to cry but she was in tears at his funeral. She's also scared of doctors even more right now he was supposed to have surgery but some rare disease got into his heart the doctors couldn't get it in time she thinks the doctors had killed him. She's just scared and upset right now she doesn't know what to think. She's reading his obituary right now she hasn't read it yet she's mad because they listed her in it and spelled her name wrong. Also it was sad because he died on his daughters birthday . We got to go see them I never met him I heard he was a good guy also his family is nice. It's the first time Mt girlfriend saw her cousin and aunt in a long time. Like her grandma she felt strange being in her uncles house when he wasn't there. That's how she felt when her grandma passed too. It was even more strange because she hadn't been there in years. How can I comfort her ? What should I say to her ?

My roommate keeps threatening to shut off our utilities every time we have a disagreement. Saying because his family paid most of the deposits to get into the place he has more of a say, even though all bills are split down the middle and I pay everything a week or two in advance. Do I have any legal ground?

I started school last week and I came to school with a black eye yesterday and every one of my teachers ask what happened to me. I didn't want to tell them so I guess they became more concerned and I was sent to the nurse and he saw bruises on my arms. I told him that everything was fine and that I'm not being abused or anything at home. Sometimes my dad will be ruff and hit and punch me but that's only because sometimes I will talk back or not do something he ask me to do but he's only preparing me to be a better man. I don't think my teachers would understand this and I don't know how to explain it to them and I just want them to leave me alone so I can focus on my school work and stuff.
