Posted: 24 Aug 2017 01:39 PM PDT so i recently got to know by my mom that my brother is actually my half brother. so we have different dads. i've always felt that something isn't "right" since i really don't resemble my brother. so the story went on and i got to know that i'm half polish. i really don't like poles or poland in general beacause of personal reasons. and i don't really know what to do. i don't like myself anymore and i won't see my brother again as i saw him before. i'm 16 now. do you think it's unfair that everyone in my family denied it when i asked stuff and said that i was just over exaggerating. i mean my brother got to know that when he was a little kid and my mom motivates the answer as to why i haven't got to know that is because i was too young to know. but what about my brother? wouldn't it be better if i knew that from the start?? |

Question: How should I react to this birthday situation? Posted: 24 Aug 2017 12:35 PM PDT My youngest sister is now in her late twenties. My mom decided just the last few days before her birthday that she was going to surprise her. So my mom called all the ladies and invited them to come. It was ladies only, so no guys. My oldest sister texted all the girls to come. On the day of her birthday, right after my youngest sister left for work, and i got dropped to school, my mom and oldest sister set up the table quickly. I was told to get off school early to help. Because my oldest sister was low on money, I spent $130 overall on the birthday cake and pizza that I ordered. I went to help pick up speakers, cake, ordered pizza, walked a long way to buy something that was sold out at a plaza. Walked to another plaza to buy something, I vacuumed the house. After all of that, nobody mentioned my name or that I helped. My mom and oldest sister were credited, but my mom and sister never mentioned that I helped. They all felt empathy for my sister. The problem is, I'm almost never given credit or mentioned for anything, I think its because I'm the youngest. When my birthday came, it was another stress for my sister even though it was planned weeks in advance. They were doing so much planning that my youngest sister tells me "do you realize how much organizing were doing for you?" As if I didn't do **** for her birthday. Also, during her birthday, she tells me to be in my room and my guy cousin, he's 16, came later that night, my sister offers to dance with him. |
Question: 9 year old cousin is in love with me? Posted: 24 Aug 2017 12:11 PM PDT Well im a 16 year old boy and i have this 9 year old cousin that is deeply in love with me. Well we dont live in the same country she lives in turkey (we visit every summer and sometimes winter too). Everytime we are there she tells me how much she loves me and always writes me notes etc. Im always hanging out with her brother but her brother hates her and always hits her. I always protect her and instead hit him instead because come on dude why would you hit a 9 year old girl. This year she really cried alot when i left she told me so many times that she will always love me etc. And i think it gets kinda annoying. She always sends me messages from her mothers phone too. What should i do with this? |

Posted: 24 Aug 2017 11:30 AM PDT Really immature topic, considering I'm nearly 17 now, but should I apologize to my older brother after saying "F*ck You" to him? The reason why was because I was already having a stressful day as it was and I asked him if he could help me out with something and he said no. I would've been fine with that answer and went on with my day but he replied in a rude way and then topped it off with "no, because you were being a dick to me earlier"... I was very offended and got very angry because I had just given him $145 to help with his car bill and also bought myself two new games and a console so that I could play but I also let him play just as much as myself even though it was basically free for him and he had to go and say I was being a "dick" to him... That's when I said "f*ck You" and haven't replied since. Should I apologize? |
Question: Is there any way I can make my mom give up custody of me? Posted: 24 Aug 2017 10:39 AM PDT My mom has been verbally/emotionally abusing me for the past 6 years, threatening to beat me and punch me in the face (a couple times she actually did), partly neglecting me and treating me like the household "maid" (she actually called me her maid before). I have been taking care of my siblings more than she ever has and it s more like I m their parent than their own mother. She forces me to do all the chores in the house (I really don t mind a few chores) except when I have to do every single chore, it s a bit much. My friend volunteered to take me into her family and live with them and she even talked to her mom about it and her mom said it was totally fine and she would treat me like her own daughter. I m just wondering, is there any actual way I can get my mom to give up custody of me and have my friends family to adopt me into their family? |
Question: How do I recover from having a narcissistic mother and an absent father? Posted: 24 Aug 2017 10:33 AM PDT I was the ignored child. Not the favored one and not the shamed one. I and my brother were the ignored ones. Yet our mother wouldn't let us see our Dad and our Dad did not fight to see us. Everything with our mother was about her and not us. I am now 19 and a sophomore in college. |

Question: I fear my father is a sadist. dont know what to do.? Posted: 24 Aug 2017 10:24 AM PDT i sometimes wish he was dead but then i blame myself. but then i see hes a sadist and im like, "fine. i wish he was dead." hes so savage against animals. especially cats. there are living stray dags in our street and they occasionally come to the front door of our house. he kicks the poor animals or he looks for a stick to make them go. he has no sense. he doesnt think theyre fvcking living beings! i hate him!!! and im so emotional right now because some satanist kid (im calling her a kid because she happens to be underage. or else id call her a creature, not a human being.) posted dead cats to her instagram and she doesnt get punished because shes underage. shes set free with a small money punishment and im in disgust. many people are in this area, but we cant do anything. i hate these creatures who happen to be "thinking animals". because theyre worse than animals. *stray cats (i was thinking of dogs at that moment) |
Question: Would you assume that every child has a loving good family? Posted: 24 Aug 2017 10:18 AM PDT Sometimes kids' behaviors are coming from whatever goes on at home. Even if it's something like their dad letting his 10 year old twins watch a violent, pornographic movie. Some individuals assume that their bad behaviors will stop if they tell their parents, assuming they will care enough to do so. I think most people do love their children, but lots of them are neglectful or give them too much freedom. You're "neglecting" your child in a way if you let them hang out with bad crowds or let a small child play with a smartphone unsupervised. A lot of people imagine childhood as a wonderful, stress-free fantasy. It's not so pretty if your parents are drug addicts though! So, would you assume that EVERY child has good parents? |
Question: How should I react to my parents' behaviour? Posted: 24 Aug 2017 10:10 AM PDT I'm 35, I live away from my parents (in another country), and I'm getting married soon. Once we had all the final details about the venue, I e-mailed it to my parents. It's been 3 days and still, no answer from them, no comment, nothing. I know that they are home and they saw the e-mail. It's not the first time they act like that and it really hurts. What would you do if you were in my position? |
Question: Who else is striving to be single mother? Posted: 24 Aug 2017 10:08 AM PDT I really hope the guy that's gets me pregnant leaves...or maybe I'll just leave him. |
Posted: 24 Aug 2017 09:29 AM PDT If things are really bad now, people will tell them they'll live a happier, successful life when they're 25. That doesn't happen to every child because some of them don't have good families. Coming from unstable homes can affect a person for their ENTIRE lives in a negative way. A lot of serial killers, robbers, sex offenders, and psychopaths come from unstable, violent homes. Some of them experience financial and emotional issues because their parents hindered their development in a drastic way when they were kids. People think it doesn't affect them as adults and that it's only temporary. |
Question: Why do I feel so bad about sons leaving their moms? Posted: 24 Aug 2017 08:42 AM PDT I had a previous question asking why do guys forget about their mothers. I haven't even had one relationship yet and i'm under the age of 15. For some reason I feel bad for mothers because their sons leave them for another women after all the work she has done for him. I was really happy when my dad ran to his mother after not seeing her for a few months, and my uncle doing anything he could for her. I just don't understand why I feel so bad. Does anyone know why? |
Question: Why are my parents so strict ? Posted: 24 Aug 2017 08:27 AM PDT I'm 14 and a guy. My parents are VEEERY rich. They own lots of very exspensive cars, we live in a very big and modern house, they can afford everything, but they don't give me a single penny. They say that I must earn everything myself(I have to work, get perfect grades or be their slave) Only thing they provide me with is food, water and everything I need to live, I need to buy everything else with my own money that I earned. They're very strict parents and only allow me to eat "healthy" food and drink water. They never allow me to eat pizza, burgers, fries or cola and say that nothing in life comes easy. But they did say that they will pay for a good university. My dad came from a very poor family, but he got rich afterwards |
Question: Trying long distance...again? Posted: 24 Aug 2017 06:43 AM PDT My ex and I had been together for 9 years. It was rocky cause he cheated alot and often acted bipolar. He'd give me sh** sometimes just for waking him up in the morning but he swore he loved me. He helped me raise my 2 sons that aren't his but wasn't taking care of his own son. His son was in Chicago while we were in Texas. His son was 9 years old and he decided that he wanted to move to Chicago to be closer to him and I didn't want to go. He moved anyway. We tried to make it work long distance for 1st 6 months but it didn't. He was seeing other women as soon as he got there and whenever I questioned him there was an argument. My friends told me that if I really wanted to be with him that I'd follow him anywhere. That there are women he relocate to be with their men all the time but I didn't want to go. After 2 years he kept reaching out and when I went to Chicago to visit him and I went out on a few dates. We had great conversation and a great time. He said that he wants to try again with me and that he still loves me, but I'm not moving to Chicago although I've agreed to visit as much as I can which is probably every other month since my youngest son is still in school. Does it mean that we're not in love if he was willing to leave me in Texas and I won't move to Chicago? Do two people in love really relocate to be together? Should I try this long distance? |
Question: Is it okay for manly guys to work with babies? Posted: 24 Aug 2017 06:06 AM PDT So what i mean by this is, i live in a christian household. We go to a non denominational christian church. My mother and dad volunteer in the childrens nursery at church every Sunday. Heres the thing, my dad is a police officer. Hes a really really nice guy. I feel like hes almost too nice haha. He works out too and has a great physique. But every sunday, hes at church helping with little babies. My question, why would a dude want to work with kids rather then do something like working on the grill at church? Or something that most guys do? My dad enjoys the enviroment and loves babies so its probably why. |
Posted: 24 Aug 2017 05:29 AM PDT I love my mom, we re close enough that she like one my best friends. But I see her as my mom first friend second. I m 19 going to college on FA at 9 in the morning to about 4 and then working till about 10:30/11pm right after so you can understand since it is my first year back to school and my first time really working Im going to be a little burned out the first week. But the problem is my mom gets mad l if I ask for one day off. One day not two or three just one day where I can take some. Time. To myself. I don t my helping around the house and pay what I can, but it s starting to get to the point where I m paying EVERYTHING. and if I want to buy something for myself she guilt trips me for buying myself one thing with MY check. How do I deal with this? My mom works but gets paid monthly, I work but I get paid every two weeks. My uncle dose nothing and still gets money and yes has to pay for nothing..... |
Question: Why doesn't my mom love me? Posted: 24 Aug 2017 05:12 AM PDT I am 16 Every time I try to talks to her she will make it about herself and tell me I am killing her, she is also a compulsive liar she lies about everything I can't trust her whatsoever she literally lies about everything and she tells me I am going to hell because I talk back to her and just ask her why she does the thing she does, she puts me through a lot and I don't know if I will ever get to go to school because she won't move me out of the town where the school is way to dangerous for me a kids get stabbed. |
Posted: 24 Aug 2017 04:33 AM PDT Her mother is a classic narcissistic parent. She means well but everything is about her and how she feels. Love must be earned though I don't know if her mother realizes this. Her mother has a golden child who is her favorite, two ordinary children, and then this hated daughter. All are young adults with one of the ordinary ones a minor (17). So the older two kids from her first marriage are both girls. The older of the two is the golden one and the younger of the two the hated one. She has moved in about 20 minutes from my Dad and I though my Mom is her blood aunt (my Mom is deceased). She knows my Dad though as my parents were married through my Mom's death. So how do I show support to her? Her mother occasionally reaches out to seem like a martyr but she generally puts the daughter down as "the worst teen I have ever known" and the daughter is now an adult at 23. The daughter's mistakes are common teen mistakes like sassing, getting drunk at a party once, and due to anxiety having a hard time holding down jobs. Also she got pregnant and miscarried at 18. Her mother talks like she is a slut because of this and an alcoholic since she got drunk once. So how do I show support without getting too involved and without cutting down my late Mom's sister or her parenting? The cousin already was abandoned once as her father was a severe alcoholic and didn't contact her the last 5 years of his life and she was 15 when he died. Her mother tells her whenever they would fight "you look and act like your father" as a way of hurting her. |
Posted: 24 Aug 2017 04:22 AM PDT I know a ten year old its normal. My mother caused it by spoiling my sister silly but my sister is a brat at 23 and maybe a little bit of a narcissist. |
Question: HELP on letting personal issues not get in the way of college education?? Posted: 24 Aug 2017 03:46 AM PDT I ve dropped out of 2 colleges, both wrongfully wasting my parents money. The first school was an expensive school my parents urged me to attend although I had no desire to go there. My first dropout was half way through the year, after almost overdosing on pills. My parents and I agreed it d be best for me to come home. I took some time off, worked full time, and straightened out. So my parents agreed to pay for me to go to state school, since I d be commuting (the money I previously wasted would be made up for by no housing costs and lower tuition. I also paid for all my books, food and gas.) All was great until the last week where I withdrew from everything. Prior to that, I had stopped attending classes regularly. I was pregnant and wanted to keep it concealed. I ended up having a miscarriage a few months along, which furthered my decision to dropout-again. These shouldnt be excuses for dropping out and wasting money, which is pathetic. There are people out there dealing with far worse who aren t doing as poorly as me. I feel ashamed for and guilty. Despite all this, my parents are STILL willing to make an investment in my future by paying for community college. I want to pay it myself, but I can t afford it right now. It s embarrassing to work full time and not be able to afford this tuition. It should ve been my first priority, but I made my homeless bf first and now I m just as broke. I need real advice and help, please. |
Question: I have a inner wish.. It confuses me.? Posted: 24 Aug 2017 01:55 AM PDT I want a man to dominate me sexually.. I don't know if it is wrong or right. I don't understand what to do. I like reading hot novels like hostile takeover and want that to happen to me. Please advise |
Question: Should I tell my mom my dad cheated? Posted: 24 Aug 2017 12:38 AM PDT Earlier today, they had a bad argument. My dad left the house and me being conspicuous I followed him. He was going to home Depot, the beach, the park sleeping chillen. Then something strange happened.. I saw him picked up a prostitute at Pch.. She walked up to his car, and he invited her in.. Me being the son, I was grossed out and turned on at the same time. I can see the hooker giving him oral, and I watched for 5 minute and had an accident in my pants.. When the hooker finished I saw he handed her money, and she walked away.. I ran up to his car, and I yelled at him "Dad, wtf are you doing? He quickly zipped up his pants, and told me... Please son, don't tell your mother." He go on saying this is the first time he ever had sex with a hooker.. And that I shouldn't tell mom because it was a mistake.. He was blabbing about how my mom always blame him for everything.. And he just had to get out the house to clear his mind and have some space.. I said "whatever." to him.. I don't know if I should tell my mom or not. My mom don't deserve to be cheated on.. But from a guys perspective, I kinda get his point. Also, he said it was a first time so he made a mistake.. Should this be a secret forever or should I tell my mom? |
Question: Is my brother on hard drugs? Posted: 24 Aug 2017 12:33 AM PDT I always heard that he's into ecstasy and will take 5 at a time, that's bad enough. But lately it seems like he's graduated to other drugs. In the past year he disappear all weekend and won't answer the phone,.He took my moms truck and we couldn't leave for vacation. He left his children with me and I had to miss school to stay home with them. Each and every time he come back from his disappearing act weekend he is either sick or very moody and will start arguments. When you ask him where the helll he's been he flat out lies and says he was trying to call you and will get aggressive in a minute..This past weekend he spent his whole pay check in one weekend and came home broke..Him and my mom was arguing and he threw a chair at her and he is clearly the one who is WRONG..He has never been like this.He is killing my mom because he can't keep a job and my dad is in denial and refuse to say anything to him .To top it all off,I notice his teeth are now rotten and I'm trying to figure out what the hell hes on.It so hard to believe my only brother is on crack. |
Question: My son I haven't seen in 10 years just got killed ? I feel sooo depressed? Posted: 24 Aug 2017 12:11 AM PDT Last time I seen my son was in 2006. He was 5 years old at the time. But my ex would NEVER let me see him. I would try sooo hard to it was hard cause I couldnt take her to court cause I know I wasn't paying child support so that pretty much messed it up. I tried to contact his mother in 2012. She tries to tell my son how bad of a father I was even though I was trying my best she doesnt even want me to have a relationship with him and she said she would let me see my son and I drove all the way from South Carolina to California to see my son. When I got there she blocked me on facebook so I called her and cussed her out so bad. So now she just would never let me see him. So about 4 months ago My son came to south Carolina for summer to spend time with his grandma and uncle and aunt cause they live in the same house. Well 1 day I had to pick his uncle up and he told me my son was in the house. But his grandma said he couldn't come out I was VERY upset. Recently 2 weeks ago my son Added me on facebook. I called him and we had a long catch up talk and I told him the REAL story and that we need to meet up cause he wouldve started driving. Yesterday my 1st born son was hit by a car and was left to die in the middle of the road. A truck saw him laying there after about a hour after he was hit and he was unconscious at the time. He died on his way to the hospital I AM EXTREMELY BROKEN. I need some help :-( I DO NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO :-(( |

Question: So tired of my mom ? Posted: 23 Aug 2017 11:06 PM PDT Before reading this post, I ve told my mom how I feel and she just calls me selfish. My parents got divorced when I was 12 since then my mom has had countless men over. At first I was so excited for her to start dating but now it s a nightmare. She s always bringing guys home to sleep with them. She s let an ex of hers push and scream at me. She used to love and defend me and now it s like she hates me. She d leave days at a time with guys and has even been fired for calling off so much to spend time with them. The last 6 weekends my mom has either been drunk with friends or at a new guys house. She works everyday so my only time to see her is also weekends. My 16 birthday is this weekend and I asked her to stay home so I could spend time with her and she told me the weekend is the only time she can see her new boyfriend that she s been talking to for 3 weeks and so she won t be home. I ve been competing for my moms love since I was 12 and I m so defeated I don t know what to do. I can t live with my dad since he lives in a one bedroom apartment with his wife and new family. My relatives all hate me since my mom posts about me all over Facebook saying I "force her to stay home every weekend" all the comments are saying that there s something wrong with me and that I need to grow up while they only know what my mom tells them. I just don t feel loved by anyone and I genuinely wish someone would kill me already. Advice on how I can solve this without just waiting it out? |
Question: How do I start look my age, without makeup, think I look 12 but I m 18? Posted: 23 Aug 2017 10:59 PM PDT I just turned 18 and I would like to know how to look my age, everyone mistakes me as the youngest looking sister and I m not I m the 2ed oldest. My 19 year old sister came to visit after 2 months and I noticed that she looked like an adult and I still don t. I know that later in life I m going to be happy looking younger than I really am but right now I wanna look me age |
Question: How do I deal with an older sister who resents me? Posted: 23 Aug 2017 10:10 PM PDT My parents seem to give me more attention and affection, I guess because I'm the younger child and my personality is more affectionate and submissive than my sister's. My mom especially can be nasty with her words, and is really manipulative. Honestly, since I'm extremely sensitive and emotional, I think it actually affects me more deeply than my sister, which even she herself admits to. Of course I understand that they don't always treat us equally and fairly, so as a child I always let my sister get away with taking her anger out on me, beating me up and punishing me to "even the score" without ever once telling my parents. The thing is, even now when we are both grown up, she is under the impression that I've never suffered in life, that I think I'm better than everyone else and never think of others, and that I get a lot of things easily that I don't deserve, so she makes a point of calling me ugly and stupid, etc. I am the first person to recognize my flaws and criticize myself for them, but I don't understand how she can make me out as so… inhuman?? Of course I suffer… who the heck doesn't?? She always makes me apologize for everything--she is always right and I am always wrong. I understand that she's hurt and it's hard to feel compared to all the time (I was always compared to her and felt utterly worthless all throughout childhood), but why can't she understand that I'm also a person so of course I suffer and feel badly about myself too?? |
Question: My dad is always a mean drunk.? Posted: 23 Aug 2017 09:07 PM PDT My dad has been drunk all of my life. My mother went out of the picture when I was about 11. My dad got custody of us for some wild f*cking reason. EVERY SINGLE DAY he is drunk. He comes home from work, and what do you think he does? Guessed right! He takes a glass of liquor or wine, whatever we have. He comes down often to get more. He is always drunk every single day by 7 PM I would say. My dad always yells at my brother and I. My dad slaps and hits my little brother all the time. And he full on hits him and slaps him in the face, too. My dad hits me when he gets angry enough. He slaps me upside the head, punched me once. He also once yanked me by my hair. I cry a lot because he makes my life a horrible mess. When my dad is sober, he is a nice guy. But when he turns drunk everything goes grandpa and grandma always get drunk too. (They live with us.) so everyone in the house is drunk by evening. And sometimes they drive drunk in the car with us. And when they are all drunk, sometimes they will all get in a screaming match. I can also tell my dad smokes weed. I can smell it in the vents, and when he come out of his closet his eyes are really red. And he smells like weed. My mom is saving up money to bring my dad to court and get us back. But, with the condition my brother and I are living in, should I just call CPS or the police? What would they do? What would happen? I'm confused I would hate to call the cops on my dad. I I love him very much and I would hate to call the cops on him. But with the way he treats us I don't think we should stay. And don't tell me to sit down and talk to him he never listens I have done it many times. Don't tell me to talk to the counselors at school because they don't listen either. So do you think I am being over dramatic or should I call the CPS on my dad!?!! I am a teenager by the way, so it's not like a I could move out. |
Posted: 23 Aug 2017 06:47 PM PDT Yes, I know it is gross and horrible to consider, but I am curious what the official biological relationship would be for both: full sibling? 1/2 sibling? 3/4 sibling for the mother one? And how about the sister one? Is it a sister or a cousin??? Or a nephew? Yes, it's incest and should not happen, but from a biological tree point of view, what are they. |
Question: Why Everyone look at other person mistakes but their own? Posted: 23 Aug 2017 06:45 PM PDT Like everyone says what's wrong with that other person and what mistakes they did, but they never see their mistakes. Like this boy in my school used to make fun of me the way I walk, but he doesn't realize that he is chubby, has acne, and he makes fun of people. Like everyone thinks they are right and everyone is wrong. |

Question: Do I not deserve space because I'm young? Posted: 23 Aug 2017 06:30 PM PDT I'm 15, my brother is 18. We're moving into a new house and I want the whole downstairs which includes (the backdoor, a bathroom, my own room, and a small living area) while he gets a room upstairs with my mom. Which includes (a bathroom, the kitchen area, the entrance, and a big living area.) ; when we first got to the house I was excited and hit claims for downstairs and my mom laughed and said ok. Suddenly she had a talk with my brother in private and just like before in our old new house she said 'I don't know who will end up where, and your brother is 18 and a man . so he needs more space.' That got me angry because she'd already gotten me hyped up thinking about having my own space as a growing girl. What do you guys think. |
Question: Person wouldn't even look at me? Posted: 23 Aug 2017 05:39 PM PDT My brother my dad and I went to visit a friend we used to know who is a firefighter to learn more about the job because me and my brother are looking to pursue it as a career. We got to the firestation and rang the bell and our friend answered the door we shook hands and said our hellos and then we went into the fire station. When we were in the fire station the man was not making eye contact with me. He wouldn't even look at me he only looked at my brother and dad as we were talking. I have bad anxiety and I'm a very nice person and I just don't understand why he wasn't talking to me . |
Question: Is it normal I miss my sister so much when she's just on a trip for a few days? Posted: 23 Aug 2017 05:30 PM PDT So my older sister went away on a trip for 5 days (today is the second day) & I miss her so much... we have a really good relationship & never have any arguments. we spend a lot of time together and it's always fun hanging out with her. I can talk with her about everything... she is just nice to everyone. And yes I miss her so much already... there are still 3 more days until she comes back and I can't stop thinking about her. Of course I can still text with her but that's just not the same as hanging out with her & talking to her in person. I also miss getting a hug from her, she always does that when I come home. I cant wait to finally see her again. I even have problems falling asleep because I keep thinking about situations where we had fun together. Do you think it's normal I miss her so much? |
Question: Is it normal for parents to throw things? Posted: 23 Aug 2017 05:08 PM PDT My mom has occasionally thrown things at me in anger. It doesn't happen very often at all, only about three times. One time she threw something at me from across the table in anger. I don't remember why or what she threw because it was a while ago. She also threw this plastic clothes hamper at my feet one time and I think it was because I pissed off my little sister but I don't remember exactly why. The reason why I'm asking this question is because she just threw my wallet across the room in anger because I didn't want to help her look for it and the coins fell out and she just left me to clean them up. Is this normal behavior for an average parent? The other two incidents happened a while ago but the wallet throwing just recently happened so that's why I'm concerned. I also have never seen her do this to siblings. I've only ever seen or heard her doing this to me. |

Question: Dad hitting me since young age I'm 13 and I'm tired of it mom doesn't care ? Posted: 23 Aug 2017 04:32 PM PDT I stand up for myself whenever I do he says what did you say and I tell him then he hits me I wish he ******* goes to jail I hate him so much. |
Posted: 23 Aug 2017 04:04 PM PDT Our mother was bad about enforcing punishments and so she enabled us. |
Posted: 23 Aug 2017 04:02 PM PDT He suffered from alcoholism is why she begrudged him. She still insults her brother who was the only one to reach out and be good to him. She resents him (her brother) for loving her father. It is like a "My enemy has to be your enemy" scenario. Her father I liked but my Mom resented because he had alcoholism. He did get nasty sometimes when drunk and my Dad would leave early with me or my sisters if we wanted (I usually didn't mind staying but my sisters sometimes wanted to leave) |
Question: My emotions are running high and I don't know how to deal? Posted: 23 Aug 2017 04:01 PM PDT I'm a 15 y/o girl. My grandma always cleaned our house and she passed in January. Ever since then, I've been the one picking up the slack. Parents work too much sister is lazy af. I never get a thank you. I found out my mom is diabetic today and it's horrible because I need her. I need time to process that type of stuff. My dad immediately starts lecturing my sister and I about how we have to start helping around instead of being lazy, which is something I've done since January. I get angry about it because I'm the one who does it, nobody else, and I'm never appreciated for it. Just one thank you every once in a while is all I ask. He was pretty much talking down to us about it saying we can't sit around anymore. Overall, I'm just so upset about this whole situation and I don't know how to handle it |
Question: My auntie is always mad at my Mom and her brother. What makes someone this bitter? Posted: 23 Aug 2017 04:01 PM PDT |
Question: How powerful can teenage hormones be when it comes to sleepiness? Posted: 23 Aug 2017 04:00 PM PDT My dad gets to work super early and gets off work pretty late and my sister and him are constantly sleeping. My sister doesn't have a job but she is going through puberty and I'm guessing the reason she sleeps so much lately and is always tired, is because of the crazy teenage hormone crap. So, my question is, can those hormones be so powerful as to make teens as tired as your usual hard working adult? |
Question: I'm not liked by anyone?? Posted: 23 Aug 2017 03:58 PM PDT There are always rumors spread about me. People are always staring at me. In 3 classes there is always 1 person picking on me and getting the whole class to join them. My parents treat me different than my other siblings. One even threw an object at me. Whenever i am given a compliment by someone my siblings find ways to bring me down. |
Question: How long should I give my sister to tell our family she's gay before I tell them myself? Posted: 23 Aug 2017 03:54 PM PDT Earlier I caught my sister hugging & kissing one her friends in the backyard. I immediately called out to them and asked them what they thought they were doing. Her friend went home and she tried to get me to forget about what I saw and help her cover up what she was doing. I told her I wasn't going to lie to mom and dad, so she said she would tell them herself. I don't trust her to keep her word, but I do want to give her some time to tell them herself if she's serious. If not, how long should I wait before I break the news myself? |
Question: My Father tries to fight me, What should I do? Posted: 23 Aug 2017 03:53 PM PDT Im 27 used to live on my own till my mom convinced me to move back now he hates my mom and doesnt talk to me either because i protect my mom. My mom and I are looking to move away because he is and has been abusive to her for over 20 years and i believe he has PPD (Paranoid personality disorder) but not diagnosed. Recently he came to fight me , 3 times i restrained him, told him stop and he kept coming and also trying to dig his fingers into my eyes and hit me. Question: What if my Mom disowns me over how I dress at her nieces wedding Saturday? Posted: 23 Aug 2017 03:32 PM PDT |
Question: How would YOU solve this dilemma? Posted: 23 Aug 2017 03:32 PM PDT To make a long story short, I had a stroke so I have been living with my Parents. I recently met someone, and in being honest, told them about his bad past(a recovering heroin addict and a criminal history) so now they absolutely will not allow him to see me. We still talk via text message, mostly because I felt bad completely cutting him off from me, when He was honest and is legitimately trying to change. I think people deserve a second chance. My problem is, how in the world can I convince my Parents to give him one? And SHOULD I? For now, I've dropped the subject, hoping some time and distance will help me try to convince them again later. |
