I love my dress, it is the exact same shade of blue as my mom's wedding dress. This morning I showed it to my mom for the first time and she was not impressed. She wants it to be fuller at the bottom from about the the knee down. I don't know anyone who can do the modification for me so it will have to be a DIY project. I want to wow her, since my mom is hard to please. How can I add this fullness from only the knee down? She wants in to be more flared like a trumpet dress.

Unfortunately, my mother and father were never able to have a proper wedding due to financial issues. We are now in a much better situation, and I ll be getting married in a few months! My mother always talked about wanting to have a proper wedding like mine will be, and I d like to give her that opportunity. My first idea was to buy her a nice, white dress as well so that she can feel and look like a bride on my wedding as well and I can hold a speech for her, I don t mind sharing my special day :) My second idea was throwing a separate, smaller wedding for my mother and father, but it ll be very tedious. Do you guys have any other ideas?
