I am 24 year old female, I really like a historical figure, and I saw a biography of him at the library. I was staring at the book with eyes I make when I really admire/love someone (the only problem is .. this historical figure is like over 60). So one of the library staff, annoyingly comes up and says "DO YOU WANT ANY HELP" and he was holding in laughter... I know it's not a big deal. but I always get caught doing something when i'm out in public, how do you deal with feeling like that... should I avoid going to places like this?

Are people with all-girl families inferior to those with boys?

ok so im 23 and my soon to be 32 year old boyfriend of 1 year dumped me while we were out "celebrating" the night before our anniversary ( we were suppose to go to brunch in the morning) so he surprises me by picking me up and taking me to a bar the night before he was even going to make a cake for me and as soon as we got there he started talking sh*t he started saying my lips where chapped so i grabbed my lip gloss and i re glossed my lips and he said it wasnt good enough then he saw i was pissed and started talking about how he's glad i finally got a nice weave and why didnt i get an expensive nice weave before now and my hair lately was looking dry old and ugly then i said "if you loved me at all you wouldnt be say this" and he said thats the problem i cant fall in love with you and im not even close to that and started saying i let myself go and i couldnt have a intellectual conversation with him if i tried because im still in college and he has 3 degrees he even told my parents he didnt want me anymore then a few days later he texts me asking can we be friends for his dogs (they love me) and i had said "yes just friends only" and everything was fine until his mom found my youtube and sent him links to the videos i made about our breakup(he knows about my youtube & but she didnt and she was shocked and now hates me) i vlog about my life and i basically told the story of our breakup and how cruel he treated me in the end (before he asked me could we be friends to see the dogs) and i agreed and then he calls me me a few hours later telling me sh*t is OVER he's not going to be friends with someone who tells his business out there ( i didnt mention his name) AND HIS MOM FOUND IT TOO and he told me i'll never see his dogs I use to take care of them like a mom im truly HURT HOW DO I GET HIM BACK AS A FRIEND?

When I was a kid, sometimes I would answer to someone and that person said "I was not talking to you" but I couldn't tell. That made me very self-conscious. I often don't know if some stranger is talking to me or someone else around me when they initiate a conversation. Does me being autistic have something to do with this? Like I would be at a cash register and the cashier would say something and I wouldn't know if she asked me or the person next to me and I am afraid to answer because it's so awkward to get the "oh, I was talking to someone else" as an answer. Do other people also have this or is it just me?

i have this feeling everytime im around him. whenever i get uncomfortable, he says things like "you think im a pervert?" and "i used to change your diaper" and other creepy things. its disgusting but he told me if i keep doing it he will take my computer away, because he sees this as misbehaving, which is totally wrong. i dont know who to tell, since my mom tells me its all in my head, and i should just stop, so she does nothing about it. im not paranoid, and i know that for a fact. hes a creep, and i just want him to stop. should i tell someone about this? my dad keeps staring at my butt and breasts? my dad keeps staring at my butt and boobs?

I wanna go vegan but my boyfriend doesn't want me to. I know what to do and where to get all my foods and nutrients but he thinks I will become really thin, like anorexic. Which I won't. But I find that eating meats upsets my stomachs, gives me gas and bloat. the only thing I know I won't be able to give up is yogurt. So I know I won't be vegan, I'll be vegetarian I guess? How can I convince my boyfriend to let me go vegan? Or should I secretly do it and prove him wrong?

Long and a tragic situation in few words. I wanted to marry a girl but our parents didn't agree. Later on we both got married to other people but still remained in contact. My wife told her husband about this on facebook message. Our own marriage ended after a year and we got divorced. The main reason for the divorce was that I still loved that other girl. I used to check facebook profile of her husband. He blocked his account when my wife told him about this. At that time they were just engaged. Later on they got married and he unblocked his account. Met my ex last Saturday after not seeing me since November. He has kept in touch since, but he was the one that let the relationship go because he can't handle the responsibility of a relationship. (This is what I'm guessing, as he never really told me). He couldn't believe I'm single and while we were out he said yes when someone asked if I am his girl. He held hands with me at his, we kissed. He said he doesn't really know why we broke up. He said he hasn't slept with anyone since & he likes his own space. He was hurt that I'd slept with someone else. He still has my rose body cream by his shower, even though I hadn't seen him in ages. He brought it with him when he moved to the upstairs flat, even though we'd split up. The next day he was happy I canceled my plans & we went to the park & spent the whole day together. He said he wants to see me again & he'll text me, but he hasn't. Is this a bad sign? The way she speak and ask me question is normal like other time. My mom woke me up just as I fell asleep at 3:45 to have me turn on I Love Lucy because she's too drunk to do it herself She was asleep For like an hour and a half. Then she said she's gonna get something to eat. So she went into the kitchen and I went back into the living room. When I came back, I found that a troll moved my question to the "LGTB" section. And a man answered my question that wasn't supposed to. My boyfriend's mom says thing sometimes that makes me angry. She told my boyfriend that he could spend time with me on my burthday and told him to tell me to stop asking questions because I wanted to know who was going to drop him off at the mall, what time and if he wanted my friend and I to pick him up. He never showed up. That was a few days before my birthday. The other day I asked if I could spend the night so I wouldn't be late for his cousin's baby shower and sometimes my parents doesn't feel like dropping me off places. His mom said "no" which I could understand it is too early. The 2nd comment is what made me refuse to go to his cousin's baby shower on Saturday because she claims that we would do something in a bedroom and that he is still a baby. Which was not our plan . I just didn't want to be late and my boyfriend wants me to come to the event. So as a result after that comment I lied and said that I have to baby sit and my parents are going to San Francisco. If his mom keeps making commennts then I would never meet his family until she stops saying comments like that because I don't want his mom to say something that would bring me down or piss me off in some kind of way. I ve been wondering for some time now if my best friend s husband is safely expressing interest or if he s just being a great friend? His wife and I are best friends and she often invites me over to spend the night. We all work together as well. He and his wife have seniority and conduct trainings that I m in. During these trainings he tends to make eye contact with me for long periods of time and bring me up throughout the training for examples and "I don t want to make [my name] laugh, but..". I ve noticed others in the training look at me as they noticed how directly he was making eye contact. His wife and I wear the same size clothing, so I ll often wear her clothes. She prompts him to look at me and compliment me and he doesn t look at me at all when she does this. She has said to me before that he talks about me often. He s helped me with my taxes, offered advice, let me borrow books, even advocated for me on one occasion--He woke up early and took notes to help me with a situation. He s always been super huggy with me. I have noticed lately, when I was really upset about something, that he was especially concerned and talked with me and laid his head on me, which is something I ve seen him do with his wife often. She was not there that day. Today after I complimented him on his beard, he said I look really nice. Maybe I m overreacting. What do you think?
