Posted: 31 Aug 2017 05:55 PM PDT I don't think I'm a boring person in general, but my best friend is super animated and funny whereas I'm more introverted. Everybody loves her and I feel like next to her, I'm the boring loser she drags along. People are obsessed with her while I'm pretty much an afterthought. People who know us both well understand we're different, but I feel like most people will just think of her as the fun one and me as the boring one simply because she's so extroverted. I can't really change myself into a bubbly extrovert, but it's making me feel insecure. Any advice? |

This girl at the old school talked to me many times before. But the catch is she's best friends with my ex friend. The new friend of mine posted all these pictures of us and deleted all of them after she brought to my attention that she heard from someone from my old school (obviously the ex friend because she doesn't talk to anyone else) and said how I had no friends and didn't get along with anyone at my school and started fights. (Which is not true I had a lot of friends) but yeah. I don't know what to do because these rumors are not true and the new "friend" probably hates me. Advice? |

How to stop their constant over criticality and esp if they are not your parents, teachers or relatives just a neighbor friend! You cannot avoid them because they are biegbours and they mean well but being critical about everything I do is not the right way is getting on my nerves. How to break this habit of theirs? |

I always send them letters of encouragement in the mail, at rare times through out the year, when I feel they might need a boost. I want to send them letters again this month except I wanted to make them a little more special. I know Braille, it is a language/way of writing and reading that I've HAD to learn.. I was thinking of writing them a letter in Braille and mailing it to them, of course with a side paper saying (in writing/English) what it actually says.. I thought it'd be special. What do you honk? It was tragic, so many people at school, expecially in the girls. in the class. I didn't know her that much, though. On August 31 2016, a girl in the grade above be got into a car accident, and died. She was in my Orchestra class. She didn't like me, because she thought I had pushed her into a wall, which I never had ( probably mistook me for someone else cause I would never do something like that ) I got defensive, and annoyed but, felt really bad about it last summer. But the point is, death just seems so weird to me. Your there and then gone. In movies, a lot is of saving peoples lives, There big events. And at my school, it actually happened. So, he's very tender with me, in the sense that he's too kind with me (more than he is with the others). Sometimes I say something like joking and he smiles tenderly at me and caresses my hair. It's not the first time that he strokes my hair. He calls me "dear" a lot of times. He winks at me whe he goes. And in general, he's always trying to make me feel good when he sees me discouraged, even if I try to hide it. He has a very good position, and he has helped me with my own work (which I should have do myself, it's not his responsibility).I feel kind of protected when he's around. I know there's a huge difference of age, but even that, we understand each other very easily, even just sharing a gaze... What do you think? Is he just kind...? |

She works like two blocks away from me. She and I know each other. She would always go up to me and order and I would make her drink. I would always get nervous around her. I dropped an entire plate of samples when she walked in and said hi to me. She laughed when that happened. So anyways, I took her the drink and told her it was hot and I thought of her. She smiled and asked if it was because I thought she was hot. I blushed and started to get nervous. She then asked if she looked thirsty. I began to stutter and look away. Her coworker giggled and I told her that I thought about her because I hadn't seen her a while. I told her she looked "grice" (I meant to say great or nice). I then looked down and told her bye. He didn't like walk in that night and caught him it happened years ago and he just got angry about it. He even has kids with this women and I heard the kids were home when it happened. It happened outside his house and after the stabbing he even pointed out a gun out the window I heard. I know one of my friends is hanging out with him again. This friend of mine that forgived him can be a selfish asshole drunk and I recently cut ties with him. This guys sister who stabbed the guy has 5 kids by 3 different guys at 34 years old. He has 2 kids by his girlfriend. I guess you can say he comes from a ****** up family. When I used to hang out with him he was good to the kids and hes never done nothing wrong to me. I know he can be judgmental and hes done other violent acts over this women to other people. Yet he forgives her. I've seen him go back to her after she's cheated on him. I guess you can say when I was younger I didn't have the best judgement for chosen friends. |

I had two many people in my life. You really can get people that can **** you over. People that are just selfish to you. I'm now living the loner lifestyle and its going to stay this way. Yes I do go out to bars and see live music on weekends. I have internet friends from this cool chat program. I try to meet people all the time. I just don't have close friends. Well I have maybe 2 but they don't live here and I don't see them anymore. There still my friends though. I just really like keeping to myself. Lately I've been going out to bars by myself and approaching women and I love doing that. Going out alone to different bars where you don't know anyone. I'm a people person and I do live in a city so there's allot of bars and restaurants here. Right now I just deal with family and that't it. I do come from a decent family. My sister is in a happy marriage and so is my mom. My brother found a good girl. None of us have kids. I would say when I was younger my judgement for friends wasn't the greatest. |

My friend made a comment about how I don't make eye contact with anyone and how it's rude.... but I don't know anyone to strike up a conversation, so I just go about my business. My friend, on the other hand, it a lot more social than me and knows a lot more people. I explained this to her and she still doesn't understand. I get uncomfortable making eye contact, especially with men, & especially at a gym. I'm afraid I'll get hit on or harassed or taken advantage of, which happens a lot, so I just avoid eye contact, it just irritates me. Posted: 31 Aug 2017 08:12 AM PDT So I made this friend over a social media service where you can join communities based on your interests and we've become very close over time. I tell her all about things that stress me out and she does the same with me, but there's always one thing that comes up when she's venting to me. She always talks about how her parents yell at her for absolutely no reason and she says that they only berate her more when she starts crying. I worry about her emotional health because of all of this. She always makes jokes asking some of my other internet friends (we have a sort of group) to kill her, but sometimes I don't know if she's joking. The things she tells me that her parents are doing sounds like clear verbal abuse to me. She's a bit younger than me, about 12, so some would say that she's just being a preteen that overreacts to everything her parents do, but I don't think that it's just being a preteen when she's goes as far to tell me that she isn't ashamed to admit that she wishes they were dead. It's not like I can call anyone to report that her parents do this, since I have no idea where she lives except for a general idea, and the state she lives in is all the way across the country. I don't even know her real name since all of us just call each other by our usernames. I just wish I could do something, but all I can do is send her words on a screen. What should I do to support her in a time like this so she can stay strong? I don't want her to hurt herself. |

She asked me why I felt I was bullied by her, and I described all the situations. She discarded all I said and that I was lying. There was another flatmate in the room who kept approving of what she said or telling me 'you're wrong', 'you're lying', 'we have a hard time believing you'. After 30 minutes of them saying I'm a liar I became really frustrated and I started crying and I wasn't controlling myself anymore. I said that other people at our workplace (we work at the same place) also know she's a difficult person (it's true). She and the other flatmate just kept repeating that I'm lying. I couldn't take it anymore and I said the name of the person who said 'Your flatmate is known to have problems with other girls'. I immediately felt ****, and I knew I ****** up big time. This morning I immediately called the girl that I sold out, told her what happened, told her I ****** up and that I'm so sorry for selling her out and bringing her into the conflict, and that she has the right to hate me, and I apologised. I acted shitty and I just used her, however I didn't do it intentionally because I was extremely stressed that I was being accused of lying. Is there anything else I can do to make it better and make it up to the girl I sold out? |

On the last day we came in and she completely ignored me all day and the day after college i reached out and she ghosted me from everything. like i had done nothing wrong and always been there for her and yet she just cut me off with no explanation and wouldn't tell me why when i reached out. its been a while since then and sometimes i think back to it of if there was anything i could have done differently. but friends would say she had used me to get her work done etc and was never a real friend to me like i was too her and she isnt worth my time thinking about. ive tried to find my own closure but does anyone have thoughts/ideas on how to properly move on without thinking back to it. ask questions if you want, thanks anyways :) |

I also love sex so I have slept with /dated most of them in the past but I do truly value them as friends as well. PROBLEM is jealousy with them! One insisits she only likes me as a friend...yet she went off on me for not replying to her texts while I was on a road trip AFTER she realized I was with another woman FRIEND of mine and said she felt abanded by me and left out. WELL we worked it out when I got back and she apologized. BUT last night she paid me $100 to help her paint and redo some stuff in her bathroom in her house. I was going to just crash there but I felf really tired and realized I was not fully over my cold after the job was done so asked if she could possibly just drive me home . She did not like that I was leaving /changing plans . SO I said I would just call and UBER or my other friend Jessica (the one I was on the road trip with ) to come pick me up. THEN SHE REALLY got mad and accused me of throwing that in her face to manipulate her to drive me home ! I was just casually mentioning it and I then told my friend I'm not gonna keep living my life in ways to not offend HER or make her jealous when we are JUST FRIENDS...with benefits yes...but I've been clear I don't want to date anyone right now and she claims she understands but then acts like this! |

| Posted: 31 Aug 2017 03:23 AM PDT So, I'm a 14 year old girl and there's this boy I like and I'm stuck in the middle of whether he likes me back or not. He's known I like him now for nearly 4 months and turn back 4 months ago I actually did tell him I liked him and asked him out. He didn't say yes or no. He said he wasn't ready yet and he likes me but he didn't want to go out yet because he thought it was a bit too soon. So I left it and we have been through a lot since then, it was v hard at first, v awkward between us and arguments starting happening. I did text him saying can we just be how we used to be before all this (only because our friendship was now ruined) and he said yeah that's if I don't love you I still don't know. And he started saying he doesn't know if he likes me. But now we are in a much better place I was talking to him about it and he said he didn't want it to ruin our friendship so that was why he started saying "I don't know" if he likes me. So now it's all confusing because he has hinted signs saying that he's attracted to me, and he said that he has to set a good impression when he meets my parents. It's just I really want us to get together but he's just not asking me out. Also what does it mean to "get off" with someone as we was going to at my friends party. Advice on al of this please? I have a best friend and we always love to hangout together. And I would always go to her house and hangout all day. But then suddenly I've been so done with everybody. Like when my sibling ask stupid questions, i just get so annoyed. Or when they don't listen or wash their own dish at all! And letting my sister and I do everything!! And so I haven't hangout with my best friend for two week now and I honestly don't really care that much. Until one day she say "hey! When are u gonna meet me?" And idk but I just got so annoyed cuz like in my head I'm like "wtf do u always want me to go to u?! If u wanna hangout then ****** come to me instead!" Like idk anymore. I'm just so done with Everybody.. I'm always the patient person in the house and friendship. Like I think I'm just so done doing everybody bullshit and being so nice and fake as ****! My other friends are a mixture of people who I knew from a younger class and people who an afternoon class and I have a good relationship with them, it's like whenever I try and talk to her she is very cold and is a Yes NO person to keep the conversation small and if I have an idea for the group she always shuts me down. | Question: Why are people copying me? Posted: 31 Aug 2017 02:03 AM PDT I used to be friends with a guy, and I introduced him to anime and kpop. He became interested, and we used to be very good friends. But after being interested he started copying me. Then, I was introduced to one of his friends, with whom we're still friends. The first guy was really jealous that I was the second guy's friend, so he started hating me. He met some people online and made fun of me with them. He pretends to be original. He bullies the heck out of me behind my back, but he's still copying me. Then, that second guy, with whom we're still friends, found out that I watch anime, and started watching the exact same animes as me. I was kinda interested in the Japanese language, and when he found out, he suddenly became interested in it too. When he found out that I also like kpop and kdramas, he suddenly became interested these too. I'm seriously studying Korean, just because I like the language, and he seems to be trying to copy me again. When I tell him to try to be a more original, he starts calling me a koreaboo, when he is a koreaboo, who wants to be Korean and go to Korea. He's copying EVERY single thing I do. Also, there's a girl in my school who follows me on Instagram, and I only post photos of my favourite kpop groups on Instagram. So, one day, she liked most of the photos, and it was like 12am. Then, at 9am, she ******* almost copied my whole kpop-themed profile! Isn't that crazy? What can I do to stop people from copying me? |
