Over the past year he really made me think that I could trust him however I had my doubts. I went through his messages and found he was talking to other girls. I confronted him and he was basically shocked and couldn't speak. He swears he never did anything physical with another girl, only texted them. He told me why he was talking to other girls and I think it's pathetic. He said he thought I was talking to other boys so he wanted to keep other girls around just in case I was doing something. He said he didn't want to know if I was cheating because he liked how it was and loved seeing me, basically didn't want to lose me. He also said the conversations with these girls weren't going anyway and he replied to them because he didn't wanna seem "rude". Pathetic! Anyways he did cry and was genuinely sorry we spoke about a lot of things and I showed him my phone straight away and I did cry. He was almost shocked that I hadn't cheated on him. He said now he knows my true intentions he's gonna change. He said he'll do whatever I ask, like see his phone, give me all his social media passwords. Of course I want to be with him but I really don't know at this point and just need some advice. It's not the worst thing but it still hurt me and that trust has been broken. His actions meet his words when it comes to me and he actually cares about me and is sincere. After my dad met him he questioned me about his career because he didn't finish college. I've been thinking about my dads issue and it's been stressing me out my dad thinks he is full of it and just telling people what they want to hear and that I'm settling and can do better. My boyfriend is a writer (he has a few books published), but he's been taking a break from school for a couple years now due to personal issues. He currently works in the electrical field, has been for 6 years and he has his associates. When I first met him he told me that he plans on getting his PHD in both English and Psychology but he isn't working towards it currently, he also told my Dad this and this is why my Dad came to his conclusion. I understand college isn't for everyone and that people go back to school whenever they are ready too. I just don't really know how to ask If he is really serious about going back to school? Started dating around 5 to 6 moths ago all was going well. It is a long distant relationship so it is hard but we work things out.. Recently he'll text me like him"Hey, whats up?" me "hi, nothing much how are you doing?" then 6 hours later I'll get a response saying he's been gaming or fell asleep.. I don't know anymore... He makes me happy, but at the same time I feel like maybe he doesn't care anymore. I've been dealing with a ton of **** lately and all I want is to have a decent conversation with my boyfriend. I get he has a life away from me but is it too much to ask he make a little time for me? Is that selfish? |
