Question: Does my ex like me still? Posted: 19 Aug 2017 09:51 PM PDT I met my ex after 10 years (we are both married to others now). I've visited the city many times over the past 10 years and my eyes would always search for him. The last time I visited, I thought I should just meet him rather than wonder about it.I sent him a casual email and asked him if he'd like to meet. He responded saying he would be happy to meet me anytime. So we made plans to meet. The whole week, I was completely fine. The day I was going to meet him though, I felt like a teenager again - butterflies in my tummy. He finally walked in and my heart felt like it was going to stop. We greeted each other with a light hug. The first words he said sounded rehearsed and stand offish - "hello, how are you?" which actually made me feel upset that he was talking to me like a stranger. That was immediately followed by a surprised sounding "omg, you look the same - you look great" which made me feel better. We did not talk about the past except once when I brought up a place in the city where we used to hang out, and make out. I said "do u remember that place" and he said with a sly smile "yes - for all the wrong reasons" which I played off like I didn't hear. When we were leaving, he offered me a ride to where I was staying and I declined because I felt sitting in his car would not be something his wife would appreciate. We ended by saying I should let him know when I'm in town again. We hugged again. I felt such a high meeting him, and now I'm left wondering - does he still like me? |
Posted: 19 Aug 2017 09:22 PM PDT Almost 2 years ago my husband admitted to me that he was developing feelings for another woman that he had met at the gym he works at. They were texting and calling all the time according to phone records, since he wouldn't let me read the messages, saying it would make the situation worse. He says they never slept together but would never deny that they kissed and or were handsy. I was 8 months pregnant with our youngest at the time and I forgave him but he knows that I will never ever forget. Fast forward to the present and I am still plagued with depression, anxiety and heartache from this event. I try talking to him about it to make it better but it only makes it worse. I honestly don't think that I will ever get over this, but it feels rather silly to leave him 2 years after the fact. I still believe he hasn't told me the entire story, but at the same time I wonder if its just the pain that makes me think that way or if its an actual instinct. We have two children and I don't want them to grow up in a broken home but at the same time I don't want to live with these doubts about him, whether or not hes finding someone else or if he really did sleep with this girl or not. I'm almost tempted to text her as I have her number in my records. What should I do? Any woman with a similar experience? What did you do? Please no hateful or stupid comments, this is a hurtful situation, so have some respect and dignity. |

Posted: 19 Aug 2017 08:23 PM PDT Are ust dating. We have talked about getting married. But it wasn't in detail just that it would happen and that he doesn't want to have kids as soon as we get married. I personally don't want to be screwed over like how my mom was she was a house wife and was left high and dry with no degree or anything. So I'm working now to pay for my online classes and have money left over for my car insurance and what not |
Question: Am I prepared for a child? Posted: 19 Aug 2017 08:00 PM PDT I'm 21 and making like $5k a month working in digital animation. I've been living together with my girlfriend for 9 months. She's also 21 and makes like $3k a month. We're not married btw. We've been having unprotected sex for the last days and she tested positive. We want a child so we don't consider abortion. We're so happy about it and we've grown closer since then but I'm also nervous about the future. Do you think a 21 year old couple making together $8k a month and living on a rented house is ready for a child? |
Question: Is my friend s husband interested in me? Posted: 19 Aug 2017 07:17 PM PDT I ve been wondering for some time now if my best friend s husband is safely expressing interest or if he s just being a great friend? His wife and I are best friends and she often invites me over to spend the night. We all work together as well. He and his wife have seniority and conduct trainings that I m in. During these trainings he tends to make eye contact with me for long periods of time and bring me up throughout the training for examples and "I don t want to make [my name] laugh, but..". I ve noticed others in the training look at me as they noticed how directly he was making eye contact. His wife and I wear the same size clothing, so I ll often wear her clothes. She prompts him to look at me and compliment me and he doesn t look at me at all when she does this. She has said to me before that he talks about me often. He s helped me with my taxes, offered advice, let me borrow books, even advocated for me on one occasion--He woke up early and took notes to help me with a situation. He s always been super huggy with me. I have noticed lately, when I was really upset about something, that he was especially concerned and talked with me and laid his head on me, which is something I ve seen him do with his wife often. She was not there that day. Today after I complimented him on his beard, he said I look really nice. Maybe I m overreacting. What do you think? |
Question: Is it possible to fix my narcissistic, controlling husband? Posted: 19 Aug 2017 07:11 PM PDT My husband forced me into marrying him. Whatever ground rules there were in my favour, he's been changing them into his own benefit. He tells me what to wear, where to go and whom I should talk to. took my facebook password and changed it without my permission. I am not a weak person. I know he has issues and that he is a dick. I love him nonetheless and I want him to get better. I asked him to get help initially and he says doesn't need fixing and the reason why he has been acting this was is because I of the mistakes in the past. The fact of the matter is the 'mistakes' he talks about or my past relationships were never a part of our relationship. They were before we started going out and things I didn't want to talk about when we started the new relationship. So I obviously didn't tell him details about my past relationships. E.g. about my sex life with my previous partners. I believe the past is called the past for a reason and it needs to stay that way when you start a new relationship. However he never stopped asking questions about them and then he started getting upset about them on his own. Started calling me a slut and ***** and what not. I have never called him names. He has done prostitutes and I never accused him of being anything. It's been several years since all of this happened and they still keep coming up if I ask him about his friends who are girls. Which makes me wonder if he's trying to hide anything. Does anyone know if I can fix this situation? |
Question: My mom is a bad grandma because she told me to get an abortion? Posted: 19 Aug 2017 07:04 PM PDT Her reason was because she doesn't like my boyfriend and knows he won't stick around because he would tell me to get an abortion also. She gave me an ultimatum either abort it and I can stay home. Or have it but move out. She is strict when it comes to kids and believes in old fashioned Therioes that men are supposed to take care of you not your parents once you get pregnant. But what if I didn't have that help? Did the baby deserve to die too?!,. That's what I'm asking her... Im 26 at the time but I didn't have money to move out on my own if i had it and she didn't care she still told me get an abortion. She's like why have a baby with a guy that doesn't want it!,? She picked fights with him, because of that dilemma. He then told me to get an abortion so I just got it to make everyone shut up but now I'm the unhappy one. I'm mad at both and i resent the crap out of both. I'm now in school so this won't happen again and I don't have to go along with anyone's decision. Is she a ***** or what? And so is he?! |

Question: Why do they call the single party a "homewrecker"? Posted: 19 Aug 2017 05:11 PM PDT When it's the married person's who is stepping out on their partner ? If someone's single, they can do as they please, it's the married person who should keep it in their pants, how are you a homewrecker of a marriage that's down the toilet anyways because you picked the wrong person to get married to ? |

Question: Am I overreacting caught husband on dating site? Posted: 19 Aug 2017 02:55 PM PDT My husband and I met on a dating website 3 years ago. We've been married for a year. I realized via email I never deactivated my account from the dating website just deleted the app so I decided to deactivate the actual account. When I went to deactivate it I found my husbands profile still on the dating website and that he had been active 9 hours ago which was around the time my girlfriends and I had left for the flea market. He's been acting odd lately and at times I've felt like he "settled" for me. Should I flip out? I don't have proof he's cheating. It's just VERY odd. |
Posted: 19 Aug 2017 02:34 PM PDT I don't have a car. I live with my bf and he travels for work. So I basically sit in hotel rooms and do nothing. So I have been applying for jobs. I got one, but when he's out of town I have to stay with my mom and she's kinda crazy. And his mom doesn't want me there bc she's works from home. I want to be with him but I don't want to be stuck in a hotel room all day . Another thing I don't want him paying for my car or car insurance. Bc we aren't married and that's a lot of responsibility for him to have and I don't want to stress him out. I also don't want to sit on my *** either. |
Question: Is lack of sex a problem in marriage? Posted: 19 Aug 2017 02:02 PM PDT My wife and I haven't had sex for 2 months now. I don't feel like it. I'm tired from all the slaving I do all day. |

Question: Will my mind change about marriage as I grow up? Posted: 19 Aug 2017 01:18 PM PDT Hello, I am a 13 year old girl, and for most of my life, I had been against marriage. I just don t see the point of it. The earth is already overpopulated, it requires commitment and work to make it work, and it s just a bother. I know a lot of people say you say this at 13, but when I was younger than 8, I actually liked marriage and wanted to get married. But as I grew up, saw my parents divorce and those around me, hearing about how tiresome it is, I guess I changed my mind. I don t think it ll change. But maybe it would who knows? Do you think there s a chance I might not actually change my mind, even as an adult? Thank you. |

Question: My friend seems unhappy in his marriage, career and life in general.? Posted: 19 Aug 2017 11:43 AM PDT So, he is 20 years old. He is married. He works 3 days a week and gets a lot of money (because he works in a good industry). But those 3 days, he has to go out of town to a nearby island for work. A lot of the time, he seems really unhappy with his life. He says that nothing is going right. His wife complains about too may things, and also wants him to spend time with her. At the same time, she understands why he has to go out of town. To get money. Also, they have financial problems. They want to save money for the future (which they do. They save quite a lot). But at the same time, they dont have much money to spend. I dont know what he should do. To me, it seems like they want everything, and the fact that they cant have it all is causing all of these problems. They get a lot of money (like, enough to make them very financially secure). But they save too much and complain about not having money to spend. They want to continue getting that much money (the only way that they can continue getting that much money if he works in the same industry he is working in. It is the most profitable industry in this country. Thats why he gets so much). Which means that he cant be seeing his wife for 3 days a week, since he has to go out of town, which is still a problem for them. What do you think they should do? The husband asks me for advice sometimes. They just want all of it. The money, the savings, the time and no fights. Also, he says that he doesnt get enough time. He says he is always busy. That's also causing problems for him. He works in a resort island. They can't move there. |
Question: Why would a married guy flirt with a woman at work ? Posted: 19 Aug 2017 10:45 AM PDT So, there's this guy at work who is married and he is always coming on to me ( I haven't seen him do this with other women, but am sure he does ) Now, I was thinking if he is unhappy in his married life, he would divorce right ? But then I thought, well, maybe he doesn't feel like paying child support or giving her the house, so he stays married. But then, if he doesn't want to divorce, why would he risk his wife finding out, by hitting on women at work ? Or risk his job with a sexual harassment case ? |

Question: Wives - How many of you would be upset if...? Posted: 19 Aug 2017 08:22 AM PDT If your husband has access to discounted car service and you found out he picked up his ex-wife's car and brought it in for service for her. Actually went to her house, left her a car to drive and then took her car for service. He said its because she's "the mother of his children" but all three kids are adults! He says I'm overreacting for being upset. |
Posted: 19 Aug 2017 06:19 AM PDT I've been with her 3 years and just got engaged a week ago. I had never yelled at her before. I've always shown patience and understanding. Whenever there's an issue I always want to resolve it and I'm willing to take constructive criticism and always make the necessary changes to help the relationship. I admit me yelling at her is entire me my fault and nothing she did wrong. I'll always admit when I'm at fault. We went shopping and she got worried and told me to watch the cart while she was walking somewhere else and I just had a bad moment where I lost my patience and yelled "I told you I'm going to". I immediately said I was sorry for it and just lost my patience. I feel guilty and she's been mad at me all week. Even told me doesn't feel the joy in being engaged to me anymore and that really hurt the most. It takes her a long time to get over things. Usually takes her days at a time to get over a disagreement or wrongdoing. She's worried about me becoming abusive and stuff she says and if I ever yell at her again she'll never see me again. I've never shown any signs or being abusive and never will be. I know I'm going to make mistakes here and there too and that worries me. This situation just hurts me a lot. How do I handle it mentally? |

Question: Should I marry my 28 year old boyfriend? Posted: 19 Aug 2017 03:28 AM PDT I'm 18 and he's 28. I have to be CLEAR on this, WE WON'T have kids, we both hate kids and we want a different future. I will be a collage student and he has a career already, he is smart and mature, I'm not going to say we are the same since I know we have different stages in our lives and thats okay/ In my opinion theres not marriage that is perfect, and most of the times those marriages doesn't work because kids or money problems but we are bothgoing to work and have our resposabilities without ruining our lives with a child ... and why I say this? because almost all people think that If you marry (young) you will get pregnant no matter what but we have talk a lot about it and we won't (they ignorant)/// How should I tell my parents? the thing is that we don't live together and it's hard for us to see each other, we want to cut distance as far as we can |
