Question: My husband and his sister are suspicious she acts like the wife?!? Posted: 26 Aug 2017 09:42 PM PDT My husbands sister took in 2 abandoned nephews and she raised them telling them that my husband is there dad? She acts like if he was her husband she calls him telling him that the kids were bad and blah blah blah. This bothers me a lot now because she acts funny like if she was the wife not the sister. My husband and I don't have kids because of the baggage and he take someone else's baggage. I can't understand? His sister lives in my husbands home to take care of her parents and they don't even live with her. We don't live together to make that clear. I think this is not normal do u? Am I over reacting what do u all think??? |
Question: My ex is giving my belongings away? Posted: 26 Aug 2017 09:30 PM PDT I just received a call from his roommate who is still friendly with me that my ex husband (we're currently separated) has been giving some of my things away that last we spoke we had ended up with a bit of each other's things and had agreed that when we had the chance we would meet somewhere or end up sending the items to the other. The roommate explained that there had been a few arguments with him and that every time it was over, he would come to her with a "gift" that she easily recognized was something of mine. She's been keeping them hidden and let me know she was trying to see what else she could get from him to give back to me as he's currently trying to mess them over on their rent and the living situation is becoming unbearable. She also informed me that one of our cats that he agreed to take care of until I got on my feet was thrown out of the house during a thunderstorm because he thought she had pooped on the floor. The other cat had been heartbroken ever since and lost weight doesn't want to eat and won't even use the litter box anymore. He won't speak to me and he has my friend so scared that she's afraid to touch anything of mine because hell know it's missing and is trying to sell or trade them. If he does do this to my things or throws out my other cat do I need to seek out an attorney? There are no children or assets really from this marriage so we weren't planning on making a big to-do over the divorce but now I'm reconsidering. |
Posted: 26 Aug 2017 09:01 PM PDT When your boyfriend proposed to you how did you feel? Were you surprised or was the proposal expected? Did you jump up and down and get very emotional and have happy tears? I am 22 years old and still haven't found the right one unfortunately but I am just enjoying life, focusing on me and being patient. I can't wait until the time comes when the right guy comes along and sweeps me off my feet and proposes to me. |
Question: Why do men who are unhappy in their marriage, stay married ? Posted: 26 Aug 2017 08:19 PM PDT The only thing I can come up with is that they don't want to pay alimony or child support, but at what point does finance stop trumping over happiness ? I mean, you can still be happy with less money but being with someone that actually wants to be with you versus having more money but your wife is uninterested in you. |

Question: Who gets the dogs in divorce? Posted: 26 Aug 2017 07:56 PM PDT husband & I have been going thru issues for almost a year & previously he had agreed to let me take the dogs. One dog was bought by me before the marriage date, she is registered to me and microchipped in my name. The other was purchased about a month after the wedding & bought with wedding money, registered under my husbands name but microchipped under my name. The dogs are very attached to each other & I'm worried about splitting them up. He was willing to let me stay in the house with the dogs, but he recently accused me of cheating and now thinks he deserves to take everything. His accusations are not true, but he came home from visiting family for the weekend & ordered me to get out. I left for work that morning & when I came back later that day we got in a fight & he called the cops and accused me of domestic violence. He then got a temporary protection order against me so now I can't even see my dogs until court. What happens after the tpo? What happens to my dogs? I have filed & my attorney hopes to have the hearing a divorce hearing not a pto hearing since he abused resources to get temporary use of the home and get me kicked out. Am I going to be able to re enter my own home? I've paid for everything for them since they were puppies... food, vet bills, insurance, etc. I've been there for them and taken care of them just as much as he has if not more. I'm just worried because of how a judge views a dog as property. I can afford them, he can't. I need some reassurance |

Question: Should boredom be considered a good reason for divorce? Posted: 26 Aug 2017 06:51 PM PDT I read the article below: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/women/mother-tongue/8739533/Women-and-divorce-Goodbye-darling-youre-just-too-dull....html Now after reading this I'm horrified that anyone would enter a divorce and be able to lose half of everything over simple boredom. This lady didn't even given any indication she tried to save the marriage |
Question: How to stop being a bother? Posted: 26 Aug 2017 05:14 PM PDT My husband s sister, Gina, recently passed away. I wanted to be supportive of him and his family. I realized that I went a little overboard with the stupid supportiveness. I accidentally overwhelmed his mom about the support. So, she doesn t want me to talk to her for a week. I know I have to apologize to her. Pls no negitive comments. |
Question: Why is it a ridiculous idea for a married couple to have 12 kids together? Posted: 26 Aug 2017 04:23 PM PDT |

Question: Should my husband get angry with me for hugging a guy friend? Posted: 26 Aug 2017 02:32 PM PDT Last week my husband and I went on a shopping spree at the mall. During that shopping spree I encountered a distant guy friend I had not seen in years, so I was thrilled and hug him tightly, and the guy returned the same kind of hug. After the hug I introduced the guy to my husband who was standing beside me during the encounter. They shook hands, I talked to him, and everything was cool. After the guy and I said our goodbyes, my husband starts snapping on me, telling me that the hug that I gave him appeared intimate. I reassured him that we were just friends and had not spoken to each other in years. It's been a week and now he's rarely talking to me and occasionally makes sarcastic references to the friendly encounter I had the day. He's not only upset that he witnessed a hug between me and a guy that he construed as "intimate", but he is especially upset because it was a black guy. How do I reassure my husband that I would never cheat on him and that it was just a friendly hug? Also, I befriended the guy on Facebook to stay in touch with him. Should I tell my husband? |
Posted: 26 Aug 2017 12:38 PM PDT My hands are literally shaking.... How can I relax? |
Posted: 26 Aug 2017 12:36 PM PDT I'm curious to hear both sides, from people who agree and disagree. Best answer will go to the most thought-out answer, not just the side/opinion I agree with necessarily. Excellent point made by "." I am referring to monogamous relationships, where husband and wife swear to each other. |
Question: Is it too much to expect to get laid in your marriage? Posted: 26 Aug 2017 11:40 AM PDT No sex should be grounds for divorce, it should be mandatory. |
Question: I Think my wife is questioning our marriage? Posted: 26 Aug 2017 10:56 AM PDT My wife Ruthanne and I live in the country with our two children. A boy aged 4 and a girl aged 1. Every since our eldest was 3 we were unsure, he is a horrible child. I know this makes us sound like horrible parents, I just don't think we're cut out for difficult children . He has serious behavioural problems. He has tantrums very frequently. We thought our daughter would balance the household as my wife has always wanted a girl. But she's almost worse! She is so violent. We have tried everything, but we just can't seem to love our children, recently this has been causing alot of problems in our marriage, we don't even sleep in the same bed anymore, and have not had sex in 7 months. Recently my wife has been vacationing alot on her own. Which we don't have money for. Last week she left with a suitcase very early in the morning, I wasn't very concerned as she's been back and forth to her parents and friends house alot recently but she would never leave for more than a few days without telling me, I can't reach her. I dont think there is another man, but I'm more concerned about being stuck with the kids, we were talking about a boarding school or perhaps putting them in a foster home until they are old enough to act responsible. In fact I was lightly considering leaving myself, I'm not sure how to go on, has anyone had a similar experience? |
Posted: 26 Aug 2017 10:26 AM PDT The reason I ask is that I've been married for 8 years and I probably have sex with my wife 14-17 times a month, but only twice in my marriage have I had sex twice during the same day. I don't even ask because she will just say, 'Again?' with an irritated look. Not complaining, just wondering... |
Posted: 26 Aug 2017 09:06 AM PDT and why doesn't the desire for sex bridge people's differences? why get divorced if you have a stable source of sex and everyone enjoys it? why isn't everyone married? I KNOW THAT SUR LA MER. The question is why doesn't EVERYONE. I was asking WHY do people pretend that sex is enjoyable if it clearly isn't. But then why isn't a priority finding someone you DO get along with so you can have it when you feel that you NEED to. We're told that sex is a NEED, that we're animals and we can't CHOOSE what we want. Or maybe not a need, but something we are driven to is it possible that the concept of "sexual attractiveness" has ruined sex for everyone? that all of this focus on sex and competition has had a horrible effect on society and that you're all part of it? What does doing it with "everyone" have to do with anything? I'm talking about ANYONE But if emotional/sexual intimacy were that desirable people would have it much more often, and one would automatically lead to the other without any effort. I think it's envy, "if I can't have everything nobody else can have anything" If it isn't that important than why don't people shut up about it? They must talk about it for a reason. Why aren't they talking about the things that would LEAD to that type of ideal life where people do what they want. But then why do people TALK about it the way they do. All you're doing is talking about how hard it is to have a good relationship, it doesn't change the fact that people CLAIM they want things that they clearly DONT I'm not AT ALL interested in sex. Actually that's not true, I am interested in sex, because people keep talking about how great it is for no apparent reason, which is why I'm asking this question and you are all talking in circles... I'm reacting TO YOUR PROCLAIMED DESIRES, you're PROJECTING. The fact is sex has nothing to do with pleasure, you just want people to be jealous of you. You aren't actually attracted to anybody. you like to argue. I think you're all part of some weird cult that tortures people with mental illness Just ADMIT IT, It's BLLSHT, everything you do and SAY is bllshit. Especially what you say sry got a bit abusive there That's another nonsense explanation, if one person buys a car and another wants to buy it why can't there be a system which takes account all of the factors in the interaction so that it's agreeable AND fair? All I'm asking is why people can't AGREE and you're making this whole complicated pseudo sexist thing about me as a person . . . Christ just admit it, sex isn't any good. If it was it would be more popular and less stigmatized. If it were any good it WOULD make everything okay, and you've basically said that it's worth as much . . . maybe you all just need to stop being manic and accept that life isn't as great as you say it is |
Question: How can I get my wife off my butt about cleaning the pool she's driving me crazy? Posted: 26 Aug 2017 08:18 AM PDT For 2 weeks she's been on my case that I need to clean the pool and it's getting really annoying and she needs to stop how can I put an end to her demands so I can relax for once in my life. Why did I even get married this is what I have to deal with nagging and whining day in day out |
Question: If your a housewife, do you consider your husband's incomes to be yours too? Posted: 26 Aug 2017 07:17 AM PDT He buy for you all your needs, bring food to the house, pay all the bills and take good care of you...Don't you think that he's income in someway or another is yours too! Question: Wants divorce and still hasn't filed? Posted: 25 Aug 2017 10:35 PM PDT My husband wants a divorce. Said he won't change his mind. I begged for a month. Was sad. Crying. Then angry. Then now I am just civil and we barely talk. Still live together. He says he wants to be friends and wants me to save money and when the divorce is final he says I should move out. He will keep the house because he pays for it and I've already talked to lawyers. There is no value on the house since we bought it so I'm not losing anything or entitled to anything significant. He says he wants me to be independent and happy and it can't be with him. Says we fought too much are not healthy together. He refused counseling until a week before He said He wanted a divorce we made it to one session and he said counseling couldn't save us and there is no hope. He still hasn't filed and it's been about 2 months. We both know financially neither of us have anything to lose or gain It's not a matter of money. I don't want to file because I still have hope. Why hasn't he is what I'm wondering --- any ideas? |
