Then I said "wow you're living a rich life!" bc I don't know I'm just really stupid and she looked at me funny and said no not really... I am so stupid for saying that and she (might have????) forgotten by now but... I feel terrible for saying that. THEN to top it off I told her I saw her 3 years ago riding her bike (long story). My teacher took away my phone was I was going to show him something that could have helped with a problem, and I used that phone as a graphing calculator. My friend saw that and let me borrow his. I used it and I was going to do hw with it during lunch, until someone threw some nasty looking stuff at another friend, and I went to get him napkins a couple of times and the last time I was coming back the bell rang and they just left and the calculator was gone. He was pretty pissed, understandably, and I apologized the second it happened and I said i'd get him another one. A few days had passed and he'd ignore me and would only talk to me about the calculator. Flash forward, he tells my group of friends and comes up with the brilliant idea of screaming "CALCULATOR!" at me, presumably to get me to hurry up with me returning one. He'd ONLY talk to me on social media about it, and would never stop screaming calculator at me, so I decided to block him and start to ignore him , while still trying to gather up money. He knew I had money problems, as we lived paycheck to paycheck. He was understanding at first, when I offered to sell my out of comission electrionics to gain money he said "don't do anything hasty". At one point, he and another one of my "friends" wanted to remove $50 dollars if I gave him the electrioncs, which is what I found kinda weird. He was REALLY aggressive about it. Like "your best isn't doing. Shut up and agree" Then, on the last day of that school year he proceed to publically humiliate me by telling ANOTHER group and making me sound bad on purpose. He described me as "wanting to cry", "greedy" , "and never offered me a replace, never talked to me about it" and said NEVER to trust me, in a group that involved my crush. He MADE EYE CONTACT WITH ME AS HE DID IT. He knew he was pissing me off and continued it. He never apologized.. Should I try to pay him back? Can I get in trouble if I don't? |

This has happened multiple times and they never even message me saying they won t be able to come over. I ve ordered them food multiple times before and made plans around the person, and the parents or my friend just won t tell me in advance if they have to cancel. |

She also sometimes gets weird looks and even teachers have commented on her being different. She said that her other friends don't care about her and I told her that it's best to separate yourself from friends that aren't there for you, but she just isn't listening. I've never had a desire to be popular or like everyone else, so I really don't know what to tell her other than be yourself and it doesn't matter what people think, but she seems really sad about this. Posted: 30 Aug 2017 03:31 PM PDT This is just an explanation of something that happened today that I feel guilty about I was with my coworkers (I am a 23 year old female and they are basically all 24-25 year old males and our older partner). They were sharing "boys will be boys" stories, basically. Ones about destroying property and laughing along with it. I thought it was funny in the moment. I told them about how a frat who lived in our old apartment kept our landlord from not just allowing another frat house, but boys at all from being allowed into the lot again as tenants. Only girls. And about how they went bowling in the hallway upstairs as well as having an unhinged door. I told them this story (of course with a disapproving tone) I guess because in the moment I wanted to laugh at them. Then later one of the interns told us how he and friends destroyed a wall. I kind of screeched out "why"? I hated feeling like I was intruding. He told us that he did it because the wall was about to be destroyed. I laughed and said "oh okay". No one seemed to think my comments were out of the ordinary. But I feel bad about them. Like it s not funny to laugh about these things, or ask an invasive question. What do you think though? I guess I just feel guilty about it and things that may not seem like a big deal can really be hurtful. |

The problem is when making new male friends far too many guys seem to think my being friendly means I'm coming onto them - in some cases the guys are just creeps who take it as an excuse to make a pass, they're best not to have as friends anyway, whereas with some guys it's just a genuine mistake...but no less awkward. I've no friends locally (as I've been living abroad) and I'm single so it's a bigger issue for me right now. |

My friend has moved in before me and i asked her to reserve my room by putting all my stuff in there. however have just found out the other girl i am living with has moved all her stuff into there, i told her she couldn't because we had already decided but she won't move so now i'm left with the worst room in the house. They're claiming now that it is 'first come first serve' which is bullshit because we had all decided on our rooms. The girl that was supposed to be my best friend never reserved my room and isn't standing up for me at all in this. they've all turned against me for absolutely no reason? its incredibly immature and i don't want to live amongst these snakes anymore and i haven't even moved in. One night in February she came to my home to speak to me, She thought I lied to her so she needed me to tell her the truth. I began explaining my side of the story but she didn't beleive me, soo she just began walking away. I softly held her for a few seconds so she could hear me out, later that night she told me I crossed the line when I put my hands on her, and she told me she was abused in the past. She blocked me from everything, so I sent her 2 long apology letters with a teddy bear. She eventually called the police and I got a warning from police to leave her alone. Some days I miss her and other days I feel soo angry towards her, could she ever forgive me???.....can I get advice on this situation please???? |

Posted: 30 Aug 2017 02:02 PM PDT School starts in a week for me (11th grade) and I've felt more emotional than usual (that time of month ended 2 days ago so it's not that). I've felt more anxious and unmotivated to do all the stuff I've done this summer (like exercising). Last year was really traumatizing for me and this is the first time I'm not excited to go back to school. I'm kind of done with summer though (my fear of bees has pushed me to the edge. Can't take it). I'm in this weird transition phase which will last a week but everyday feels so long. I've got plans for the rest of the week. But I don't really feel like being productive. I've been really productive this summer, but I feel like I need a break to relax before school starts. I need to prepare myself before going back to school and having to deal with all the pressure that comes with it. I put alot of pressure on myself to be productive but I'm a little out of it. I don't want to force myself to do things I have no motivation to do (that'll cause strain). I've had a hard time sleeping for the past two days because of anxiety. Does anyone feel the same way? I kinda just want school to start but I don't want all my time to be taken from me. |

She cuts back "We'll just keep finding random things to unlock then." I give the quarter anyhow, and the next day wrote a survey asking them to rate our behavior (1-5 scale): how have we kept the bathroom, how have we respected boundaries, how was our attitude ect... They left us alone and never responded, did I do something wrong? |

However, since that conversation, 2 months ago, nothing has changed. She hasn't even sent me one text. I had a pretty major life event happen recently and she didn't follow up to ask how it turned out. I also told her I was going on vacation and the normal follow-up question is, "Where are you going?" But she didn't ask. I reached out to her again so we can meet in person and talk about how I'm feeling. She thinks it's only to talk about her boyfriend. I'm know she's having issues with her boyfriend and I want to be there for her, but I'm starting to feel that our friendship is one sided. And that maybe she doesn't care about me that much. I came up and told her all the things being said, they confronted the one doing all the negative talk and the sht talker and I are no longer friends. I don't mind. I was more and more put off by that sht talker and made the choice to come forward. She has expressed worry on a few different occasions that I will befriend that sht talker again. She has said that she will be mad if she finds out we became friends again, has said on another occasion she would disown me and is curious as to whether or not that girl has tried contacting me. 1) Why does she fear that I'll go back to that sht talker? 2) Why does she care so much? She has a tendency to add friend to everything. Well not everything but like when she needs help with someone or something. She will just add "friend" awkwardly (2-4 times in a conversation maybe more.) At first it made me think she thinks I m gay first that pissed me off. Cause she s 36 or so and I m in my twenties, I m NOT gay, I still have a crush on the same guy I ve had a crush on since we became friends.. and really I only ever saw her as an older sister if anything at all besides my friend. At first I just thought it was weird until one day she said a guy who was into her called her and she kept making it "clear" that they were only friends by adding "friend" when they talked then I was like... wtf. Gross. Okay. Not only that nearly every time we go out to eat or something people always mistake her as my MOTHER. I realize I do look like a kid.. but is this not extremely awkward? It pays higher than average for fresh grads and has a lot of company perks. Anyways, I told a friend about this gig, and they seemed to be really happy for me. Next day, he applies for the same job at my company. I didn't provide any substantial hints and no emails. I told him before when he mentioned it once that he should atleast wait for me to do my probation period before joining and starting an application. He asked me to refer him, he asked me this!!? I said no, but his actions are basically forcing an implied referral. I haven't even started day 1, and although there were interviews of me, i feel my company will think what a cocky and arrogant guy I am that I am already recommending my friends to apply and join. The head of HR sent me a connection request on LinkedIn and another added me on Facebook shortly afterwards. We had a discussion about it and he said how he didn't see the bigger picture and admitted it was a careless move. But I know he knew but couldn't care less about me. I havent spoken much to him since and don't intend to keep him as a friend anymore. Should I feel angry or not? And will my company think bad of me, or can they really tell from the outside what's going on? |

Actually, the problems started in 7th grade. My friends Peaches and Yuki are my amazing best friends but... Ever since 7th grade, they leave me out of things and when I am with them, they don't talk to me and ignore me. I have talked to them so so sooo many times about the way they treat me. I've lost count how many times I've talked to them about it. Sadly... Things are still the same. And I've been considering to just stop being friends with them because they're honestly the reason why I'm always sad and stuff and I don't want people like that in my life. But, if I stop being friends with them then I won't have anyone else... I'll only have one friend left. Posted: 29 Aug 2017 10:13 PM PDT I've been friends with this girl for around two years now and for around 6 months or so she has been constantly sending me random weird pictures of her face, sometimes it's her eating a bag of cheetos, her making a funny face, her trying to make a double chin (it can honestly get really weird), and other really random things. I always just say "oh" or "okay" back, as it's gotten kinda old but yet she still does it. I'd say everyday she sends me 1-2, though every so often she does skip a day/sends me like 5. Is she trying to test me somehow? Does she think it's funny every time she sends a picture even though I clearly show no interest at all? Does she want me to do something back? I don't mind that she's doing this at all, but I'm just really curious why she does it so often or even does it in general. Anything is appreciated, thanks :) I'm a guy. |
| Question: What should I do about my roommate? Posted: 29 Aug 2017 10:00 PM PDT So I'll make this short. Last year I got placed in an apartment with a girl who I did not get along with. Her and her boyfriend smoked weed all day, were loud, and a lot of other things. I ended up having to break my lease because the old manager never wanted to do anything about it (I believe she eventually got evicted months after I left). Then my current roommate is someone that I roomed with a few years back. However now she's SUPER social so people are in the apartment and LOUD 24/7. Like 5-10 people in the apartment non-stop. All of my friends say she's only acting that way because the year just started. I would talk to her but she's sort of the type to take that as disrespect, and she's also the president of the sorority I want to join (not that that's important right now). But what do you guys think I should do? Should I wait and see if it stops? Should I avoid it all and switch to a different apartment? Suggestions? and if you're wondering guys, no i cannot get a 1 bedroom because I cannot afford the $900 rent as a college student. I also cannot commute from home because I live 4 hours away. So sharing an apartment is my only option. |
| Posted: 29 Aug 2017 09:40 PM PDT When I was in 5th grade, everybody loved me. I was known for being hilarious and nice yet shy, and I had 2 girl friends and 2 guy friends. I pulled the group back together and resolved things when we started to argue and divide and I made everybody's day better when we were all happily together again. Then it all changed when the Fire nation attacked. Just kidding, it all changed when one of my girl friends (and coincidentally the hot one) moved away, and the rest of my guy friends though she was starting to act really annoying and obnoxious, but at the same time I felt so bad for her and tried to pull us all back together and spend a lot of my time trying to get everyone to get along but I quickly realized this just wasn't going to work and we just needed things to unfold naturally since they turned out to not be that compatible anymore, but because of the rest of my guy friends' bully-like attitude towards her, I felt really pressured to do the same, and so the 'great uniter' as they liked to call me became the 'great bully' in my words. I lost my notorious kindness— at least for my close knit group of friends that eventually and inevitably divided because of the genders— but I still had my funniness, right? Well, not exactly. My real best friend, Dennis, had never been part of our little group, but he was still my best friend and I would never let him go; we really get each other and share a lot of common. The problem was he stole my jokes and stripped me of my funniness |

He's always saying how he doesn't want to go to jail because my mom has weed, but this is much bigger because he could be old enough to be her grandpa ad he would always say "i didn't do anything wrong".
