We broke up (his choice), but we kept seeing each other on and off even though he didn't treat me very well (hooking up with other girls behind my back, wanting minimal contact with me when we aren't together, etc...unhealthy I know). One day he said he wants to set me up with one of his best friends. I think my ex just didnt really care about me and wanted this friend to lose his virginity, while I sincerely liked this guy as a person and suddenly saw a potential healthy relationship with him. I started seeing his friend and was very healthy, but within a couple weeks, my ex got jealous and said he realized how much I meant to him and he made a huge mistake ever since breaking up. Im now kind of torn between the two, since my ex and I have so much history and are so comfortable around each other, while his friend is such a down to earth guy who I feel would never hurt me the way my ex has in the past. To make matters worse, im moving 45 minutes away from our town, and the friend is moving about 3 hours away from the town. I know im an idiot for ever putting myself in this situation, but what do you think I should do? |

She smiles and stares at me with interest. The first few trips I think nothing of it because I believe she is doing her job and nothing more. As time goes on she makes it more obvious. She stares deep into my eyes and locks eyes while she is swiping my ID card. One time she looked at my card a little too long perhaps trying to look me up on social media that isn t attached to my real name. I always stayed composed and never talked to her. I saw her talking to someone else in the café I stayed cool. One day I was looking at random pictures taken on my campus and came across her profile on accident. Mind you I did not know her name. The first picture I saw was her and a boyfriend who was not the same guy I saw in the café. I laughed and was not surprised what I found. Saw her again at the gym she smiled and got in my personal space and I backed away with a face of disgust immediately making her look stupid she has no knowledge of what I know. She s too embarrassed to say anything. Last semester I didn t go for a while and came to the gym when it was busy. She s getting everyone s card as soon as she notices she has mine she looks up and locks eyes at me. Last week she s giggling with some guy as she passes me her demeanor changes and she looks straight ahead with no emotion. Yesterday I barely see her pass me and her body is turned so she s facing away from me. |

Today was my first day of college, after having 4 days of orientation. I decided to wear this new dress today too, so I was having a great day so far. I went to go outside on the patio of my dorm to study for about an hour before I had to go to my next class. As I walk down the steps I see this guy sitting at a table. He gives me an up and down and I give my best not to get creeped out. I go across the patio and sit down with my back facing him on my usual picnic bench. I knew something was up. He then suddenly gets up and comes toward me. I hoped he was just passing by. But No. I only just sat down and started pulling my computer out. The first thing he says is something like, "I don't mean to scare you, but I'm just going to say it, your cute.And I want to talk and get to know you and blah blah blah" I don't really remember. And he leaves at that for a second an continues staring at me like I'm meat or something. As soon as he says that I start getting really nervous and I start shaking. But I thought "okay I can handle this, I don't want to be rude and he gets angry or anything like that". And the only other person that was there just left. So I am literally all alone with him. I don't respond, and he asks for my name and we shake hands, ugh. He then spouts all of these questions about myself and more. He keeps getting creepier and creepier. For that first year we only talked when we had to, to ask for the answer to a classwork question or to borrow a pencil. In the beginning of that first year I did not felt anything special, i just found him mysterious and good looking. Towards the end of that year i began wanting to have a conversation with him. The next school year we did not had a class together but our first class was right across from each other and our second class was in the same hallway. He was the one that began saying hi to me and as the school year progressed those heys turn into small conversations as we walked together to our second class. As i got to know him a little bit better every time i saw him and talked to him my heart will start beating faster and i would get really nervous. But the nervousness and along with a faster heart beat stopped in the second semester of that year. three weeks before that school year ended we stopped talking because of finals and schedule being different. I often found myself walking slow to class in hopes of seeing him. In those three weeks i found myself being sad because i did not see him. I wanted to get to know him more. She sat in the back of the room, and the door is in the back on the side. Where she sits you can see the side of her head when you walk in. I was walking in and saw her (didn't look directly at her), and she turned her head and saw me and quickly shifted her eyes down to the table. We didn't make eye contact but she looked at me and diverted her eyes immediately. I wasn't looking her in the eyes when she did this, but it was still visible. She had her head still turned halfway towards the door when she looked down and you could see almost all of her face. She was also holding her head up with her hand on the back of her head. Yesterday when he dropped me off I mentioned to him when the next time he thinks he will need to get laid again. He said prob this Friday we can chill. Last night around 9:30pm I texted him telling him the things we should do the next time we meet up. He never replied back to my text but I had a feeling that he wouldn't. I already have a feeling that's exactly what's going to happen seeing he didn't reply back to me last night. Like I said I'm prob over reacting for no reason. He's super sweet other than that, like he will make me gifts and spend quality time with me.
