He seemed to be genuine and was more of the pursuer. We went on a date and had an amazing time. Then neither of us contacted each other for a week until he broke the silence and sent me a photo of the sunrise at a beach he was at. Then shortly after he became cold and went silent on me. After a few weeks went by I texted him and he told me to take a hint and that he was not interested in me at all, which seemed odd to me considering our past experiences together. We didnt talk for 6 months and we are not connected on social media and I moved to another state and got a new phone number due to a work commitment. He then contacted a co-worker at my former workplace via social media and asked her to please have me call him because he didnt have a way to reach me. I sent him a message and he asked me to call him so I did, we talked for hours and seemed to hit it off again. Then the next day he went cold again, did a complete 180 and as casual as can be told me that he was not interested in me, despite having tracked me down and had a long convo with me that included him telling me he enjoyed making out with me and thought about me often. That was the last straw for me and I asked him to never contact me again. This guy completely messed with my mind, why would he behave like this? |

She went to almost an all men's college so a lot of her friends are guys. 4 of her best guy friends and one girl meet up in the city a few times a year and every summer do an overnight weekend trip together, I've been invited every time but I've always been busy. When we first started dating she was very insecure and in love and one night she mistakenly thought I was texting another woman and cheating on her she cried got very upset and noticed she txted this guy right away as almost revenge. I noticed the name and it was one of the 4 guys and over the years I would ask her if anything ever happened with any of those guys. She would always laugh and say no way they were all just friends. She recently admitted after much pulling that she did have sex with him in college a few times and nothing came of it and it meant nothing. We're in college and I live about 3 hours away and she's already back for recruitment. I went down to see her and told her I would be there. She showed up to the bar I was at but didn't even come inside. So basically I drove 3 hours for nothing. I got mad at her cause I drove 3 hours to see her on her birthday and she didn't even say hi. I haven't seen in her in three months cause of summer so I thought she would've been at least a little excited. This obviously shows she's not into me like I am into her. But it also told me she's a pretty bad friend too. Her excuse was that she was drunk, but I don't think that really solves it. She got mad at me for getting mad at her but I really just want her to acknowledge she was kinda a bish cause I did quite a bit of work to get there on that day and she didn't even say hi. Am I being unreasonable for getting upset with her? Cause I feel like she could've at least come into the bar and said hi instead of just leaving. I'm still pretty mad about it and we're not talking right now. Should i just forget the friendship altogether? She never apologizes when she makes me mad and that makes me even more mad. The thing is it is one of those towns with some sort of ingrained racism (yes I am black and the girl is white). So far we only hung out once and I can just tell everyone was looking wondering what the heck is going on. I am just trying to get to know her and not rushing things. Just seeing where it may progress, at worst friends at best who knows a relationship (I am trying something different, my other ways never worked. That is another story). I am just afraid to keep moving, because the area she is from is pretty much the same way. The thing I am afraid of is that the white guys might try to come after me, because to them it is this (all the name calling whatever which I won't post) is talking to this white girl. Then comes the possible harm or just name calling. I should mention that there hasn't been anything that was overtly racist that happened to me, other than them looking at me. That to me is expected, because I am really the minority where I live. That doesn't bother me, and they do "act" nice too me. Some are seem nice, others might do it out of politeness (but in the back of their mind, they just want me out of here or worse). Just want to hear other peoples opinion? |

We ended up hanging out, he treated me to some food showed me around the city before ending up at his aunts place where I met some of his family. We left the place to go buy some liquor and wound up having sex with him (I initiated it) he walked me home after and hugged me around my neck kissing my cheek.
