Question: My boyfriend deserves better... What should I do? Posted: 15 Aug 2017 06:30 PM PDT My bf and I have been together for 3 years now (live together). He is wonderful, husband material, loves me more than I could ask, doesn't mind my flaws or shortcomings, even does the dishes when the sink is full, he's just that wonderful! He's a great communicator, attractive, tall, never ever has an ego. I, on the other hand, have communication issues and act immature and petty. I get upset easily by the slightest thing he does (leaving his clothes in the living room instead of walking them to the bedroom, etc). During arguments I have an ego and hate admitting I am in the wrong. I love him dearly and he treats me so wonderfully, but I find myself creating arguments all the time and making him unhappy. I know he deserves better and I know any woman would provide him the love he deserves, but I don't want to let him go. I truly do try to get better and have even taken up praying to God recently (I am not even religious but am desperate) and nothing is working. What should I or can I do? Also, I am interested in therapy or counseling but I am unemployed and wouldn't be able to afford it.. |
Question: Would you assume your husband has a love child if this happened? Posted: 15 Aug 2017 02:34 PM PDT My husband and I were at the supermarket and a young boy maybe 2 years old ran up to my husband saying daddy. A woman came over with a baby in her trolley and the young boy kept saying mom I found daddy. The woman apologised and said he has a habit of doing that My husband said he didn't know who the woman was. About 2 minutes later I saw her speaking to one of my husband's colleagues. The next day I asked my husband's colleague how he knew the woman he was speaking with and he told me she used to work with them. I was thinking about my husband's behavior 2 or 3 years ago and we were distant, he told me he was working a lot of night shifts but I wasn't convinced. I remember smelling perfume on him a few times, I confronted him at the time and he told me I was crazy. Would you be alarmed if this happened to you? Any advice on what I should do? Should I confront him? |

Question: How can I talk to him about having a baby now? Posted: 15 Aug 2017 08:48 AM PDT I came off birth control a month ago because my husband said I could. He said if we get pregnant now then we do if not we will just try again. Now he's been avoiding sex as much as he can cause he doesn't want me to get pregnant yet. I've been wanting a kid every since I met him and he knew this. Now he's telling me maybe in a month after our vacation in September. But I feel he's just going to put it off again. If I knew this I would have stayed on BC for now cause my periods are intense and I have a hard time dealing with them. I'm not sure what I should do or how I can change his mind to just have kids now. |

Question: Should you quit doing something if it makes your spouse uncomfortable? Posted: 15 Aug 2017 08:38 AM PDT Shouldn't your spouse just trust you? Sometimes a male friend of mine downloads on me about his relationship problems and gives me compliments and will text late at night. My husband says its inappropriate and makes him uncomfortable. But shouldn't my husband just trust me and let it go? |

Question: What kind of odd fantasy is this (husbands)? Posted: 15 Aug 2017 07:08 AM PDT He wants me to wear a football jersey with nothing underneath, and panties. And then go to the bedroom with him. This is the weirdest thing I have ever heard. I have sexy lingerie and he isn't interested. Is this bizarre or am I wrong? |
Question: Trying to plan a "surprise" baby shower for my wife? Posted: 15 Aug 2017 06:46 AM PDT The Pastor of our church has offered to let us use the social hall for our baby shower in exchange for work I've done around the church grounds. He initially wanted to put me on payroll as a p/t handyman, but I declined. I didn't feel accepting money for working was right, especially since the church is in a poor financial state. And my wife pointed out that no one else is compensated for their service, so why I should be? I asked my wife to call to reserve the hall, which was a bit stupid of me since it was supposed to be a surprise. The office manager told her the rental fee is $250 and will she be sending a check or dropping it off. I don't think our Pastor left word with the manager that the fee would be waived, and he's now he's away for the next 2 weeks. My wife said just to wait and straighten it out when he gets back, but my co-host is worried that we'll lose the space if we wait. We are already on the calendar, so my wife's not too concerned. I asked to her call the office again to let the manager know of the arrangement I have with the Pastor, but she said that we'll still end up having to wait for the Pastor to return to confirm with the manager. The Pastor needs to let the manager know personally. I just don't think she's wants to call again. I don't know whether to just wait or insist that she call again to inform the manager of the arrangement? I'm not scared to talk on the phone. My wife has more time than I do during business hours to handle these things. She works in an office with down time most of the day during the summer months. Also, English isn't my first language, so conversation is a bit hard. I know how to write and read in English, but verbally communicating is a bit difficult for me if I'm not face to face with the person. |

Question: Should I just give up? Posted: 15 Aug 2017 12:24 AM PDT I've been with my husband since I was 17, I'm now 23. We have 3 kids. Im a homemaker so I'm always home with the kids. He works half of the year and the other half he's just around the house. When he is home he's always on his phone and of not he's watching tv. I go to sleep around 10ish and will wait for him but he just never comes to sleep with me. If we have sex, once he's done he will go back out to the living room. I have tried everything talking, taking the initiative in sex. I buy lingeray. I'm trying so hard. I just feel so lonely and neglected. I just want my husband to be with me to actually care. Should I just stop trying? |
Question: My husband says hurtful things... ? Posted: 14 Aug 2017 10:45 PM PDT We have been together almost 3 years. No kids of our own, I have children from a previous marriage and he has one from an ex gf. When he gets mad he says hurtful stuf in spanish. He is mexican. I am from puerto rican parents. He'll say that I am a whore, piece of ****, that I am a failure, muerta de hambre, other personal stuff. Than he'll bring up my ex which is father of my kids and says that he is the one who takes care if my kids money wise because I can't nor they're dad. He rubs in my face what he does. I work and never ask my husband for money. He'll also say that he regrets marrying me, that I am a nobody. He just said all of that today and more. Along with he doesn't wanna be with me. He made fun of my highlights I recently got a few days ago. The day I got them he said he liked them until today. Like wtf. After hearing all of this earlier I went to supposedly wash my face in the bathroom. I began to cry. I held on to my tears while he said it all. To myself I kept saying "don't let him see you cry, don't let him see you weak". I have cried and ir teared up before and he makes fun of it. Idk what or why he is like this. This started after getting married. Why the hell he got married? Why is he with me if I am such a failure. |

Question: My husband did something stupid? Posted: 14 Aug 2017 10:01 AM PDT I recently heard of something my husband did 6 years. He used to work for a small cable contracting company. They have these little devices they could put on people's Internet wires if they needed to block the signal to repair something or if there was too much noise coming from it. We were talking about an officer that was fired and said that about six years ago this officer approached him and asked him for a few of the little devices. Apparently the guy was having an affair and didn't want the girlfriend posting about it while he was at her house. My husband gave him a few! My husband said that 1 or 2 times he had a trouble call to the house because the officer never took it off When he left. So my husband went over and took it off. He says that after doing that a few times he told the guy he needed to knock it off. I think my husband was under the impression that the officer was using it while he was actually there, not leaving it on. Regardless,it was stupid. I'm mad because maybe if there Was an emergency she couldn't call 911 or something! I feel like the Internet and landline phone might've been connected back then. What do I do?? My husband doesn't work for the company anymore, he has another job, and this officer was eventually fired for other shady shady things he did around town. My husband said he was stupid to do it back then and wouldn't do something like that again now, but I am really freaking out. I feel like this makes them a horrible person. What do I do!? |
