I am the only girl in one of my high school senior's class. They are fun guys and they like to tease me about how hot and sexy they are. One will say "do you want to see hard". I told him I would need a microscope to see it. Some guy will say "Most girls think I am hung". My reply, "you misunderstood, Most girls think you should be hung". A guy will tell me "I have sex more than any guy in school". I said "that explains the blisters on your hand?" Another guy said "My dong is so long, you will need a yard stick to measure it". I told him a 2 inch stick would probably measure it. No matter what they come up with, I always have a put down for them. They think it is fun and so do I. We all enjoy doing this. The guys told some of the other girls in school what was happening and these girls told me I shouldn't have to "take" it anymore. That is sexual harassment. They say these guys are insulting all women by talking to me this way. Gals, is that true?

Where I work the company owner, my boss brought in his new wife and introduced her to us employees. Our boss John is in his mid 40s and his new wife is in her early 20s, my age. A few days later he ask me if I thought his wife was cute. I said, "I had not give it much thought but yes she is cute". It became known at the office that John was very jealous of his wife with other men. One day John ask me if I would like to "fool around with his wife". Wanting to not get involved with his personal life and wanting to keep my job I said "I would not fool around with any man's wife". He said "then you are the person to train my wife to use the company's computer system so she can help me with the business. I did not want to do that but I had no choice to do it if I wanted to keep my job. I did train her but it took a long time. After the training she told me "I owe you big time. Please let me take you to lunch to say thank you for being patient with me during the training". I told her I could only do that if her husband John came with us. She said he is very busy and probably could not find the time to join us for lunch. I told her a thank you lunch was not necessary. My thoughts were that a lunch with her without him would put my job on the line. Do you think I made the right decision about this or was I worried for nothing?

okay so I've been homeschooled for about a year and a half now. I left school because I was bullied by everyone from school and people in my area. i now have no friends and it's hard to make any because nearly everyone within a 5 mile radius hate me. And I don't like going out a log because I'm very self conscious about my body...

So, at my lunch table, there s me, my bff, my brother, and my "friends". So one of my "friends" (girl) was saying how my bff was so pretty and beautiful, and then my bff said, "well this is the real beauty" (points at me) and then my "friend" was like "I mean... Eh.. like what even is that". I just sat there my self esteem lowered. Then we went to recess, and I sat in a corner silently crying (I wasn t with my bff bc she had to go to band) and they were like "what s wrong? We re your friends, you can tell us". Idk what to do anymore. (No I can t move tables because all of them are full and even if they weren t all of the popular kids sit there.)

I brought a small birthday gift in to work for someone. It had a thing of nail polish, a face mask (for skin), a bath bomb (place it in the bath and it fizzes, releases essential oils and smells nice) and a small bottle of perfume (like 2-3 ounces). I came in to work and handed it to her, she said thanks and gave me a hug, peeked inside but she didn't open it. I said a little later that she could open the gift - there wasn't anything inappropriate in it. She said it's the thought that counts... Yes, but... I spent time getting those little things together and feel that it's appropriate to spend time looking through the gifts a person spent time finding for you... She had time to eat cake and etc. Why didn't she want to look? Is this normal? Neither of us are Chinese nor do we practice the Chinese culture... I've always had people open my gifts in front of me. Otherwise, how do I know they got it and what they think of it? It might just sit in her trunk unopened now. And usually, there's some back story to the gift that you tell as they open it... It just makes sense to spend time appreciating a gift with the person that got it for you..

Ok so my friend was talking g about how she had plans with another one of our friends (closer to her than me) and they were gonna drink a lot all night. I'm 21 and I've never drank simply because nobody ever invited me to do so. So when she told me she would try to get some alcohol for tonight with her friend, I took the opportunity and said "oh, I wish I had done something fun and wild this summer, but I never got the opportunity to" simply Because inviting yourself is kinda tacky. So she said, you can come tonight, but now suddenly "idk if we will drink tho I'll ask haley(the other girl)." Like wtf!! She was so excited about drinking before but after I asked she wasn't so enthusiastic. She then said that they were "too tired to drink" and so I backed off the subject. Then I guess she made it seem like my invitation to come over anyways was taken away by changing the subject. Yes, I know that if I really want to drink then I can just go out to a bar and do it myself, but I don't want to drink alone. Also I'm more asking why she wouldn't want me to come drink with her?

I've known her since we were kids. We are now 22 years old, and our friendship has been a bit rocky over the years. I think it was because we were so codependent/ the duration of time we hung out. We took a break for a bit earlier in the year, but hung out a lot in june. She left for the summer, and then got back a few weeks ago. When she returned, my identical twin sister (my actual best friend as she always says lol) and I went with her to the movies. That day, I took a while to get out of the shower, and didn't know she had arrived. I felt really bad to have kept her waiting. I still recall when she had been late to come to my family gather I was very sweet to her, but she seemed exasperated understandably. I felt crappy having not seen her all summer, so it sucked to hear her say she might go. We finally went out, and midway through walking at the paseo promenade, she said she felt ill. We left. She sent a message to my sister apologizing, but said nothing to me. I know she's moody. Our good friend from hs admitted she felt relieved when this girl was gone. It's just, I've stuck by her through thick and thin. This seems so strange. My "deep friendship" aside, I messaged her that night to say sorry for the holdup at home, and that she was feeling ill. I responded back to her message, which was surprisingly civil but not too genuine. she said "sorry for not getting back to you." not I'm sorry. Hi guys! Someday I've watched a show where a person was in a restaurant with his friend, and then when he goes to the toilet he is told to participate in a challenge. He was forbidden to tell his friend he was in the challenge and had to do everything he was told to, like eat paper, etc. If he did all the things he win like 5k. I recently texted one of my close guy friends, thanking him for the care he showed me when I was in the hospital a few years ago. He said you're welcome, but then went on to apologize for being distant. He said "I know it seems like I've been isolating myself from you at times, which I would like to apologize for. You're a very sincere person and I'm sorry if I'm ever distant." Context: Last year I said something that really upset him and he cut all communication with me for four months; we have since made up, but since then the effort in the friendship has been coming almost exclusively from me. We're both university students so I get that he's busy and understand that people change and move on. But why would we apologize out of nowhere, and what would my sincerity have anything to do with it?

I'm sure she has an ulcer, we're roommates. I hear her throw up basically every morning, she's not convinced that she has a health issue.

Update: I'm 13 and I live next to a girl who is always lying and recently started talking badly about my best friend. She called a guy saying my BFF liked him and that's false. I tried to stop her and I told my best friend. Every time I do that my neighbor gets mad at me and the only reason I'm friends with her is because I live right next to her and I have to walk to school with her everyday until I graduate. PLEASE HELP ! On top of that she is on me soccer team and I tried my best to tell her to stop.

I met this guy at a place we both worked, and whenever we weren't placed in the same group he would go out of his way to come to wherever I was and talked with me, whether it be for a few minutes or for like a half hour. we got along together extremely well and have practically the same personality, and overall our conversations were playful and we had a lot of the same interests. Our job ended, and he said that he wanted to stay in contact w me and so we exchanged snapchats and he said I was the coolest worker he met there and that he actually genuinely enjoyed talking to me. A few days pass, and we didn't talk to each other, but I saw something that was a joke between us so I sent him a pic of it and we talked for hours, and he was overall very talkative but the conversation got cut bc he fell asleep (it was late at night). After that, we haven't said a word to each other, and I'm just curious as to why. he's not the type of person who starts conversations when he has something cool to say, he will just say hey whats up and go from there. nothing got awkward and I don't think I said anything, we were just talking about a musician we both liked and concerts. any ideas? should I start conversations again? I don't want to annoy him lol

Someone who had been a *very* good friend of mine insulted me and wouldn't apologize, and then said SHE doesn't want to be friends anymore because she didn't want to talk about it. In the past 2 years she contacted me a couple times but I didn't reply. She contacted me again and invited me for an important life event. I don't know what to do. Yes, I am happy for her. And she truly was a great friend. But I also remember how awful she was to me during this incident. I don't know what to do. I don't know that my family will be happy if I go to her event either. Because our families were close and when she cut ties she made her family stop talking to mine as well. I don't know what to do.

A couple years ago I used to play Xbox with this group of people. One person in that group said something offensive to me. One day they were in a party and had the party on invite only. The guy that offended me was in the party so they had it on invite only to avoid conflict. I message one of the people that was in the group to ask the guy that offended me to leave the party. He left me a voice message saying that he doesn't care about my beef about him and he is a good friend of his and he would never ask him to leave the party. I then sent him a message saying that I hope the guy that offended me gets brain cancer and dies from it. The very next day he blocked me. I sent him a message on a dummy account saying that I'm sorry for saying that. He didn't accept my apology. I think he still has a grudge over me to this day.

I'm a 24 year old grad student who is seriously dating a grad student from Spain. I've been invited to join his family's vacation house in Spain next week (they are even paying for half the plane ticket!) and it'll be the first time I meet them. His family was really worried he'd meet an american (wanted him to marry spanish), and while they've been very careful to be nice about me, I have that in the back of my head as incentive to make a good impression. And I want to try really hard. I was a spanish major in college (that should help!) I just found out that pretty much ALL of the women in his family and extended family go topless at the beach, that it isnt sexual, just normal. I'm worried that if I don't it'll make me seem sooooooo an outsider. To his credit, he isn't pressuring me AT ALL to join them, he just wanted to make me aware. But it just seems such an in your face reminder of how American I am if I don't. On the other hand, it seems really awkward being topless around his family like that! I'm not super modest around other women, and I get that breasts arent' seen as sexual in spain. I'm open minded, but nervous. My instinct is to NOT do it, but I also really want to push myself to make a good impression, not do things that make me seem SO foreign to them. Thoughts? I'm honestly so hurt rn. Basically, there's this girl (let's just call her Cam) I've been friends with for about 3 years so far. We care a lot for eachother. Anyways, turns out she had another bestfriend she's basically known for almost her whole life. The thing is, her best-friend hurt her multiple times, she's really bossy (no offense), and sometimes really annoying. Cam complains a lot about her, and usually I just joke a little and listen to her little rants. But, that's not really the point... I would actually die for my best-friend. I'll do anything. Like, anything (besides anything involving my family, of course. but I include my best-friend as family too.) I always try super hard not to get jealous when I see her with her other best-friend, because I want her to be happy. She still wants to be best-friends with the other. I don't see why though, but again, I want her to be happy. Before all of this happened, I had another bff (let's just call her Ume) who hurt me alot, and i had lots of family problems. I was pretty much depressed, and I still am. Then I met Cam. We talked to eachother 24/7. Eventually we became BFF's. I was there for her through thick and thin. When she was hurt, I did everything I can so karma bounces back on the person who hurt her. I defended her with all my heart. The thing is, I don't think she would do the same... It's just that I feel like she doesn't care for me as much as I do. i'd do anything for her, and she might just do little. On the other hand, she has another best-friend. Which hurts me a little, too. Then, again, I have issues with myself causing depression. (family problems..) I recently had to drop some drinking buddies because of the way they act. We would really say some mean things to each other. Then we would forgive each other and again it starts all over. Doing this really made me cut back for good. If I drink its once a month at the most.

I noticed that a total of about 6 people (all of whom sent me friend requests) deleted me from their friends list. FYI - There is no bad blood between us, so I think they deleted me because I barely do anything on there, other than wish them a Happy Birthday. In addition, I have no pics, except my profile picture. One of those friends I sometimes see on the bus on my way home from work. She always ignores me, unless there's a situation where she has no choice but to make eye contact. But that's as far as it will go, as she'll just give me a "Yeah I see you sitting there" look with a meaningless smile. So it's kind of awkward, and I pretend I do not realize she deleted me, as I don't want to give off the vibe that I'm trying to ask her out. So I simply kill her with kindness, thus me acknowledging her presence even though she ignores me.

I'm going for my first ever professional bra fitting tomorrow (my bras never fit right) and I don't know the protocol. I'm not overly modest (around other women) so I don't mind getting topless if I'm supposed to, but I don't know if I'm supposed to. It makes sense that it'd be more accurate if you were topless.... But I don't want to commit a big faux pas either. The store advertises "free, professional bra fittings" on a sign but there aren't any more details. I assume they take you to a fitting room for privacy. How much do I strip down? Will they tell me when? Sorry, just young and new to all this lol If I do have to get topless, I'm more or less comfortable, I just wanted to make sure I wasnt wrong. Will they tell me when to take my top and bra off or do I just strip down right away? Will it just be one girl doing the fitting I assume?

OK, so last year I changed schools and started hanging out with these kids that I met in one of the sports I play. At the end of the sport, I noticed they were starting to act like they were in some type of gang. But not really having any other friends, I followed them, and got accepted into their gang, at a low level. Basically speaking they started making fun of me, but wanted me to stay in their gang so they could keep on mocking me. So around February, I started catching onto this, and slowly started pulling out of that gang. It was hard, but in the end I started hanging out with people that actually get into the same stuff as I do. My parents noticed and started getting concerned, because by May, I was fully out of the gang and just hanging out with my friends. So my mom forced me to hang out with some members of this gang because she is friends with this one kids parents. I didn't do anything because I don't consider this kid a friend. He smokes weed, and recently got out of juvie because he got caught drinking beer. I try to tell my parents that I don't want to hang out with these kids but they don't listen. If you are wondering, the kids in the gang are only hang out with themselves as they have no friends, and when they do hang out, they smoke weed, drink beer, and some other stuff that you are better off not knowing about. To my mom, these kids are super nice.

I have this one specific friend who, if she asks for money, I'm not sure if I'll ever get it back. For one of two reasons. The first reason is because she is broke and the second reason is because when we make plans she always cancels last minute so I'm not guaranteed to see her. How do I refuse to lend her money when she asks and what do I say to her? Yesterday when I finally did see her she owed me money she owed me $4 and gave me 57 cents and said she'll give the rest to me another time so I said just keep your 57 cents. Another time when I thought she "bought" me a gift without my knowledge she expected me to pay for it. How can I refuse to give her money and what do I say to her if she asks why?

I used to be really close friends with this guy, until he got a girlfriend. He randomly stopped hanging out with me one day, saying he was super busy, when he easily made time for his guy friends and his girlfriend. He could not tell me to my face: "I still think of you as a friend, but I have a hard time balancing other female relationships along with a girlfriend". When my birthday comes, this friend gives me chocolate and champagne. When I decline the gift and explain how I felt hurt and abandoned by him, he did not understand. Our summer break passes without us talking to each other, and when I arrive he greets me like nothing bad happened. Because an old friend of our's was visiting, I decided to put my differences aside, and spend time with my old friend and former friend together. During this time, two things happen:1.When I'm asked if there is any guys in my life, my former friend stops what he is doing to look and listen to me. 2. When my former sees the same chocolate he tried to give me when the three of us are out, he reminds me that the chocolate is his dad's favorite, and that I turned it down. What do you think? Does he have feelings, or is he manipulating me?

so I've had problems with this girl since high school. we've never liked each other over petty drama. We're both 19 now and last week we got into this big twitter beef. We were both talking sh*t to each other. So one thing led to the next and she threw some insults at me, so I took a very low blow and basically talked about her disabled son calling him slow and r*tarded. I started to lose weight last year and now I'm happy with myself. I feel more confident, so I decided to change my profile picture. I had the same profile picture for over a year. When I changed my profile picture, I started to notice that my middle school bullies started to send me friend requests. I've accepted some people. They used to make fun of me because I was overweight and supposedly ugly. I was also very quiet at school. Why do they send me friend requests now?

I feel so worthless and betrayed right now. I gave them my all and now it just seems like all the time we spent together was for nothing. I'm glad I still have my best friend with me but it still hurts. Those people were family to me. I work in a small office with just three of us, and my work requires full concentration as I work in the medical sector. From 8:30 until 4:30 ALL DAY EVERY DAY she just will not.stop.talking. I have tried everything, entertaining it, leaving the room, ignoring her, (i require headphones sometimes to listen to dictations, which is handy but she will just wave her arm in the air and say can you hear me, and then proceed to blab on about every single thing she possibly can). I accidentally upset her the other day when i snapped (this happens when I don't talk about things) and told her she was pissing me off. I just want a calm relaxed environment because a few times i have messed up my work because I just cannot concentrate. That combined with her whiny accent really makes me want to throttle her. Shes a lovely girl, just SO GOD DAMN ANNOYING.

I am very sad and depressed, without energy. The only thing that gives me life is my friend but he lives fahr away from me and I haven't seen him for 11 year and there is no chance that I can visit him because the ticket is expensive and he needs visa for visiting me and I also need so this makes thing even harder. So I live without him. I put my all into study and work, ignoring my emotions and through time I got depressed. The thing that my family do not want to conntact with me does not helps. I do go to church and pray for God's help but I do not understand why, but some things just never work for me I wish I had one thing to enjoy and to know where I am going, having a goal, but nothing makes me happy. He's married, I'm single. I'm 26, he's 37. We're friends and used to work together. He used to be touchy feely with me when we worked together (not too crazy, mostly high fives), but not so much now. He's never hugged me, though. Whenever we're together and he buys food, he buys it for me (and our guy friend too, so I don't think that's much). We have sent innocent messages to each other around midnight or so. He's prayed for me (again, he prayed for our guy friend, too) while praying with his daughter. He's told me (while we were riding alone together) that his wife complains that he doesn't get home from work until 8pm sometimes. He also mentioned to me today in a passive aggressive way, that his wife never listens to him. His wife didn't want me riding alone with him today so she forced their son to go with us. Today at church, we were the only ones sitting in the front row and he seemed to purposely sit a couple seats away from me. Back when my mom used to attend church with me some days, I noticed he would only make convo. with me after service when our mutual guy friend was there, but if it was just me and my mom, he'd come say hi before service, but he'd leave immediately after service. When we rode alone together once, we talked the whole time with no awkward pauses. He's always laughing at things I say that I don't think are all that funny. Sorry, it might be kind of mean to ask, but I have a friend who has autism, and it keeps getting worse. I mean, I don't have a problem with and special problems about someone, but it's just that his autism is getting worse and worse. His parents won't even try to help him out with his problems. What should I do?

I'm 15 and I'm in love with an older guy. My friend is 20 and she thinks I don't barely know what love REALLY is. I showed her what he looks like when she came to pick me up from school and she just shook her head, laughed and said this: "oh he isn't the one.. You're obsessed with him but you probably won't marry him. I remember those crushes". I'm pretty experienced in dating BTW, I dated a 14 year old when I was 12. My relationships usually last for a few months or so.

I wasted my twenties doing nothing, being young and stupid. I blame nobody but myself for that. I find myself at 30, in a few months I'll be 31, and I have nothing to show for my life. This year has been a waste so far. No accomplishments, nothing. Now, I'm trying to change that. I've made a lot of mistakes and wasted a lot of time. But I learned from them and I blame no one but myself. Now, I need to make up and atone for my idyllic past. I'm not asking what I should do, that's common sense. I'm looking for but success stories of people who changed their lives around.

Why do some people treat me so bad, yet treat others so good? I didn't do anything to them, they have always hated me. I don't get it. And then they converse with people that I would like to get know, but I can't because they literally have kept everyone from trying to get to know me. It wasn't until they started hanging out with those people that they don't even try to talk to me anymore. Makes me wonder why they hate me so much. Guess I shouldn't care.... 😔

I m a bit on the quiet side but I can tend to ramble. I don t go out much but when I do I just can t seem to connect to people. Even when I meet mutual friends from the one or two friends i do have they don t add me on facebook or try to ask me to come along. I am a single mom. My daughter makes friends better than I do. The friends I do make tend to use me. One got my car impounded and I had to pay to get out. Learned a lesson from that. Stuff like that. I try to be nice and help people but I get screwed. I wish I knew what I was doing wrong. Or where to meet decent people and how to connect with them. I m pretty lonely. Every time I try I get burned. Clearly I m a bad judge of character. I try to be pretty quiet. I mostly read write and take care of my child. I don t even have good family members to lean on. I just wish I knew what i was doing so i can fix it. Or stop attracting the bad friends or why my family doesn t even want me around or be decent to me. I must be doing something wrong right?

I recently had to drop some drinking buddies because of the way they act. We would really say some mean things to each other. Then we would forgive each other and again it starts all over. Doing this really made me cut back for good. If I drink its once a month at the most.

I haven't talked to this person in a few years. All this drama happened from me trying to protect that person. I admit, I came across as a little clingy and looked weird. Things are different now and I just want to be friends again. I tried messaging this person but I don't know what to do after not being replied to. I mean they said Hello to me, and I asked how they been then saw but didn't say anything. Im hesitant on what to say now.

Hi... so my brother has a little silver sedan style car and he is in college. I used it over the whole summer because he was away. Well, school is starting tomorrow and I'm taking a class in which I have to drive to. I'm so upset because my friends take me EVERYWHERE and I always ask my friend for rides because she lives about 1 minute away from me. Anyway, I feel really bad but I have no other way to get around and everyone has their own car except for me. This is a problem for getting to work too. My parents keep telling me to wait and they wont let me try to buy my own car because they've been "looking" for a new car for my bro so I csn have his current one. I am soooo frustrated. What do i do :( I could drive the family van to school but it is ugly, big, embarrassing, and hard to drive. I just feel left out from everyone and embarrassed and frustrated at my parents

one day he was fine, then the last two weeks he's been wearing the same shirt, acting paranoid, fatigued and not hungry. He seems to spas out at times. I thought it was bipolar personality but it's starting to look like drug abuse. I know he said something about cocaine before but do this sound like drug abuse and he claims to sell drugs

I used to be so outgoing and loved to meet new people, over the course of five years, I've encountered difficult situations and now I find myself severely introverted and afraid to meet people, afraid of what they might think of me, afraid if it will even last, the girl I was five years ago never cared about any of that. I didn't care what they thought of me, I didn't care about large groups of people, I met new people all the time, got along with almost everybody, I loved group events, now I'm leaving people on read because I'm too shy to reply, I have no friends, too afraid to get into large groups of people let alone meet a new person. I feel ridiculous, Any advice on just getting out there?

I'm a 17 year old boy , just started college and the person I thought I would marry dumped me, my friends that are supposed to be my brothers left when I needed them most , and my family just doesn't care. It's a lot more, but I'm just always there for every one and no one isn't there for me. I'm tired of complaining though. How do I go from always being around ppl to being by myself?

the problem is that i ALWAYS make plans with them and i get really excited about them. we get all dressed up, do our hair and makeup, and then they have a huge blowout fight. then we can't go anymore. i hate that they do this to me every single time. maybe it's selfish, but i find it so annoying my plans are often ruined by them not being able to get along. what should i do?

fight that resulted in us not talking to each other for a while. I went to go hang out with a group of friends (one of these friends including one of her own friends even though they weren't really that close) and we all spent the night at my friends house. we all had drank quite a bit. after we were done drinking and chilling outside, we all went inside and it was just me and her friend alone together as everyone else was passed out. That's when she made a move on me and started feeling on me. I was drunk, and on top of that she is INCREDIBLY attractive so I started feeling her back. one thing led to another and we had sex. when we woke up in the morning we decided it was best not to tell anyone but I feel awful. what should I do?
