Question: Does the best man give a speech talking about the bride as well? Posted: 19 Aug 2017 08:53 AM PDT I am the best man to my brother s wedding. I know I have to give a speech at the wedding about my brother (the groom) but do I also talk about the bride as well? Also, do I give a speech at the rehearsal dinner? |
Question: How can I be a maid of honour from a different country? Posted: 19 Aug 2017 03:37 AM PDT My oldest friend is getting married next summer, and I'm her maid of honour. However, she's the first of my friends to marry, so I genuinely don't know what responsibilities I have, I don't know her other bridesmaids personally (all cousins and aunts) and I live in a different country due to work. Her father recently passed away too, so I know the day is going to be bittersweet. I really want to do it right, and I know she will be really upset and resentful if I don't do my duty. Can you tell me what maids of honour are expected to do (in the UK)? Thank you! |
Question: What should I do? I got engaged to a man 15yrs older than me? Posted: 18 Aug 2017 06:49 PM PDT Okay so I fellin love with a man 15 yrs older than me I'm 18 hrs 33 and he just got his divorce from a 10 year marriage he has 2 kids we ant to get married in October but his family says the that he needs counsoling (he doesnt) they want us to call off the engagement and date other people and wait a year to get married or they won't be there for us I think that it's wrong that they are telling us what we have to do for them to be there for us we know what we have but they don't believe it's real I don't know what to do cause I don't want his relationships with his family to be gone but I think it's our choice |
