Posted: 19 Aug 2017 01:10 PM PDT basically she talks really loud basically screaming so every ******* person can listen to what she's saying then I tell her and she gets mad at me for telling the truth i camly tell her to quite down and she either yells at me or rolls her eyes |
Question: How to control my 6 year old nephew? Posted: 19 Aug 2017 01:07 PM PDT He's been acting up, he's always visiting and acts like our house is his castle; he takes away the remote when someone is watching tv in any room so he can watch his dumb youtubers; he yells and smacks anyone who doesn't do what he says, and my mom is just trying to be the favorite grandparent and she lets him do anything he's gained so much weight eating all of our foods and I've told my mom this is how people end up obese but she only listens to him and buys him all this pizza and happy meals whenever he ask which is every hour. He makes hugemesses and blames it on us because they only trust him, I mean even during Christmas my parents bought him all these toys he wanted and all I got was one video game from them that I didn't even want and lots of clothes I didn't even like. They don't listen to us when we tell them how he acts; the worst part is when he hits my dogs for no reason, that's when I finally decide to yell at him and sometimes smack him; but my parents just say "He's just a kid let him do what he wants!" |
Posted: 19 Aug 2017 12:59 PM PDT My parents are separated. I'm living with my mom on weekdays and weekends with my dad. I really miss my dad. What should I do? I don't like to go places with them because I think about my dad. I miss my old life. I just want to cry and nobody understands. |
Posted: 19 Aug 2017 12:51 PM PDT My father has retired from the military in Tx at a high rank and also still works from the gov. I'm 18 and now going to college. My mom and my father were never married and she also retired from the military but in Sc. Even though she retired from the military we don't have bundles of money. I'm going to school in IL bc I got more scholarships at the school there, but even then college is still really expensive. And we have no money and Fasfa ain't giving us nothing. So is it too late to fill for back child support so my father can pay some of my school bills? |
Question: 16 year old daughter keeps asking me for rides? Posted: 19 Aug 2017 12:49 PM PDT My 16 year old daughter keeps asking me for rides to her work, which is 15 minutes away. Sometimes she works 5 days in a row . Often times these are at bad hours such as dinner time or late night closing shifts. I am just feeling that it is getting out of hand. Today I told her that I can drive her to her 10:45 am shift tomorrow, but I won't be able to pick her up after 2:45 because I want to go golfing with my son and she got quite upset about it. I just feel that since she is making so much money, I should get some gas money . I brought it up to her and she said that it is not fair since my son (her older brother) does not buy and of his own food. This is true, she usually buys her own food. She also has given me gas money, but reluctantly. I just am very inconvienced by the hours and how far away her work is. Should I stop giving her rides or should I make her pay for the gas? Am I wrong to think this? |
Question: I'm sick and tired of this world? Posted: 19 Aug 2017 12:14 PM PDT When will all agree? I'm sick of being hurt, I've been hurt so much that I can't feel anything anymore. But deep inside it hurts me so much, people tell me to shot myself. Nobody is a good person anymore. |
Question: My mom brought a guy home? Posted: 19 Aug 2017 12:08 PM PDT I came home from my grandmas house and my mom said she was sick so she d be in bed most of the day so I just went up to my room, but I began to hear my mom talking to somebody in her room and I thought she was just on the phone at first but then I heard a male voice too it was really getting on my nerves that my mom had brought a guy home while I was there and lied to me about it. Plus she also told me if she was to start dating that she wouldn t introduce me to anybody until I was ready. Anyways I didn t have to courage to ask her why there was a guy in our house so I just stayed in my room. They went to the living room so I texted my mom saying I was hungry And I couldn t ask her why he was here or when he was gonna leave because she kept reading out the messages. She always lies to me about things and breaks promises and although I don t pay rent I still live here and I think she should have respect for my space and what I feel comfortable with. I have really bad anxiety as well which makes the situation a whole lot worse and I ended up crying in my room. She cares more about her love life and getting dick than she does about me and my brother. She doesn t care what I want then wonders why I hate her so much. It s not like I can move out either I m too young to live on my own. What are your thoughts? |
Question: Where is a safe place for me to fool around with my cousin on Thanksgiving? Posted: 19 Aug 2017 11:59 AM PDT so my cousin and I have been fooling around for years, this year we want to do something on Thanksgiving while our family is there from different states. Where is a good place for us to fool around without getting caught? |
Question: Why does my dad degrade me? Posted: 19 Aug 2017 11:45 AM PDT My dad sometimes calls me smart and give me compliments about mt intelligence. out of my siblings, i have definitely always did the best in school. However sometimes He'll call me fast or say i dress nasty and things like that. Ive only ever had two boyfriends, the first boyfriend i ever had i am still currently with and weve been together for 2 years now, im 17 years old btw. i wouldnt consider my self fast and i dont think i dress like a prostitute either, i dont even wear shorts or skirts. He got really mad once because i was wearing a shirt and it i waws pulling it up over my shoulder because i slid down a bit and when i raised my arm a slight bit of my stomach showed and he got so mad and yelled at me in front of everyone and got in my face. before that, i wore a crop top once and he threatened to burn it and he yelled at me about how im fast and nasty and im always trying to show off for boys. I dont know if this matters but im the only child that he has actually thrown on the floor and beaten and he once slapped me in the face for singing a song he didnt like at a family gathering. sorry i typed too fast, theres a lot of errors. |
Question: Little brother is driving family crazy, does he have a disorder? Posted: 19 Aug 2017 11:38 AM PDT My little brother is a cute, handsome and lovely 7 year old kid (i'm 16 by the way). I have suspected that he might have ADHD for a few years now. He litarilly drives us insane sometimes 1. He always talks back no matter what - example: When we tell him not to do something, or if he is not allowed something he will scream, yell, cry (this seems pretty normal, but ... 2. Whenever he plays with other kids he is always fixating on winning, and that's all he cares about. He cries a lot when he loses something, and can't handle being talked back to (he is not agressive, since he's scared of fighting), sometimes the other kids are a little mean to him but instead of defending himself he screams, yells and cries 3. He never listens, not even when the situation is very serious. My brother always cries for the smallest reasons whenever something doesn't go his way, and this drives everyone insane, but also the fact that when he cries it's not just normal crying --> it's screaming like a devil, not listening to absolutely anyone! My mother litarilly cries and tells him to shut up, but yet he keeps talking back, like he doesn't understand the situation. My mom and dad suck at handling this situation, i've constantly told them that he maybe has ADHD or some disorder. His behaviour is simply too evil to express in words. Is there also any way for sure to know if he has a disorder, if he has ADHD ... wouldn't it have been identified already? Hope i get some help here He does really well in school btw |
Question: I'm 14 and might be going to a concert alone? Posted: 19 Aug 2017 11:31 AM PDT Ok so I won't be entirely alone, my mom will be there, but when I get into the venue, my mom won't come into the crowd w/ me. I don't want her to, and she said she's not one of "those moms" in front row with their kids. My concern is that there are these 2 creepy dudes who might be there. I see them at every show I go to pretty much and I don't want them to creep on me. This might be my first show I attend alone. I'm so excited for this show and I don't plan on letting 2 creepy *** dudes ruin my night, but I'd like some tips for how to stay safer? |
Question: I'm 13 and my parents are thinking about divorce? Posted: 19 Aug 2017 11:28 AM PDT My parents just fight all the time nowadays and when my mom brought up the topic of divorce when fighting with my dad I really wasn't surprised. It's going to happen soon and I can't really do anything about it. My dad is an asshole sometimes, not verbally abusive or physically abusive if you are thinking that, but he's just really rude sometimes around me and my mom. But I still love him and we still have good times together. My mom is constantly nagging at me and my dad and never lets things go. She restricts me from ever doing stuff I want to do and instead insists I must do what she wants to do. Tagging me along with my little brothers. Very few times I enjoy stuff with her and it is most likely I'll be staying with her most of the time if they do divorce. I honestly just don't know what to do. They are constantly neck and neck with each other and honestly they do need to break up. But I'm still upset in a way I can't explain. |
Question: Is my husband being unreasonable about this? Posted: 19 Aug 2017 11:17 AM PDT My company is being taken over by another company and they notified us that our department was being eliminated. This will put 11 women out of work. The new company offered us a new position with higher pay if we complete a training course. They found an employee, Bob to give us this training at no cost to us. We take 4 hours of training each Saturday morning. Bob is 25, single and a great guy to give us his time to train us. He is not getting paid to do this training. All 11 of us gals have called him after work or after class to ask for help and he is always available to help us when we need help. We all thought the least we could do to repay his kindness was to take him to lunch after class. When I told my husband about this he had a fit. He said he did not want his wife taking a single guy to lunch. When I pointed out to him that there would be 10 other women at the lunch AND he could come if he wanted to it did not solve his problem. Gals, what do you think. Is my husband being unreasonable? All of the other women's husbands don't have a problem with this. In fact they are grateful to Bob for saving our jobs. I will really look ungrateful for all of Bob's help if I don't go. What should I do? |
Question: Did I do the right thing here? What would you have done? Posted: 19 Aug 2017 11:12 AM PDT My sisters husband Joe works at the same place I do. He was getting behind on a project he was working on and he ask me to help him. I said sure and I worked with him during my lunch and sometimes after work. He was afraid he would loose his job if he did not get his project done on time. It was a struggle but we got the project completed on time. I got an email from my sister that said "I hope you remember all the help Joe gave you at work and all the time he spent with you so you could keep your job". My first reaction was that I should take that email to Joe and tell him to tell my sister the truth about who helped who. However on more thought I didn't do that. I thought why start a family fight when it can be avoided. If Joe wants to keep the truth from his wife, I will not interfere. However when Joe needs help again (which he will) I am going to be not available. Please tell me if you think I made the right decision. How should I handled this situation? THANKS |
Question: Salty meal...what now!? Posted: 19 Aug 2017 11:07 AM PDT My dad was making nachos, but he's like really stubhorn when it comes to doing things. He was using a whole stick of butter for cooking beef (idk why) SO I TOLD HIM TO USE A LITTLE OIL NUTT NOOOOOO I GET YELLED AT FOR DOING SO! Anyways I let his stubborness make the meal, he added salt to EVERYTHING!!! OMFG, now I just had the meal (Salty Level - Tasted Like Salt) So now I feel bloated and like ****, I also have prediabetes but apparently "one time meal" he says. This ******* stubborness of his pisses me off, but I don't want to be disrespectful because he is my dad. Basically now I am really bloated and will this one time meal affect my prediabetes in any way? GUYS I CAN'T ******* DIE YET, WTF I DO NOW? LIKE I FEEL SICK AND ****! |
Question: Why do I have more chores than my brother? Why does my expect me to do everything? Posted: 19 Aug 2017 10:21 AM PDT I'm 21(f) full-time college student and I have a 24(m)year old brother who's basically a hermit. He's not in school and he isn't looking for a job either. My mom gives me more chores to do than him. Every time she asks him to do something he gets mad about it. I do the same thing but I don't show it I just do it. My dad does outside housework but he never ask my brother to help him, he just does it by himself. My parents are in their 50s so they're up their in age where someday they won't be able to move like they use to. Do you think it's in a way sexist as well? Is the women always expected to do all the inside housework? |

Question: My mom's new boyfriend.? Posted: 19 Aug 2017 10:06 AM PDT So, my mom recently got a new boyfriend. I don't really like him because he's quite rude to me but i'm trying to like him. But here's the thing, she has some friends staying over as well, they're gonna stay here for long. Everytime we eat dinner they make jokes about sex and my mom keeps touching her boyfriend's thigh under the table (i've seen it). it makes me incredibly uncomfortable, and sometimes i just burst out of the room because it makes me so extremely upset? Because of this i hardly eat anything during dinner. Is there any way i can tell her to stop, kindly? |
Question: PLEASE HELP!!!Concert Trouble? Posted: 19 Aug 2017 10:04 AM PDT So, I am 13 years old, and my mom is a single mother. I have a younger sister who is only 7. I really really really wanna go to this concert, it's dirt cheap, and it would be my very first concert!(Plus the artist who I want to see is fairly new, but on their way to becoming really famous, so I know the tickets won't ever be this cheap again). I want to go with my mom, but she says that if she were to go, my little sister would have to go too. I think that would be really weird, bringing a seven year old to a concert? It's all ages but still... I'm kind of a lone ranger, but I did attempt to ask a friend, but my friend is kinda unreliable. So... I guess I have two questions. 1. Would it be weird to bring my seven year old sis with us? Like would people look at us wrong and stuff? 2. Do you think it would be fine for me, a 13 year old girl, to just go alone while my mom and sis just walk around town or stay in the car? I am a little nervous to go by myself, in all honesty, concerts seem kinda scary alone. Forgot to mention, my mom doesn't want to hire a babysitter, we've heard way too many horror stories and she wouldn't trust it. I really wanna go to this concert but not enough to risk putting my sister in danger! So that's out :( |
Question: Was she being selfish?? Posted: 19 Aug 2017 10:00 AM PDT So last night something ended up being wrong with my tire, but it was so late that me and my fiance just decided to go home and take care of it early in the morning. She was supposed to be at work at 8:30 this morning, but had to take care of my tire problem first. I went to Firestone and found out there was a bolt stuck in my tire. They charged me 113 dollars to fix it, and I said no and took it somewhere else, but the whole time my fiance was being very rude and pissy because she was being made late for work and honestly she was acting like a brat, and I really felt like she was being selfish because I had a problem with my car and all she cared about was getting to work. I'm like I'm sorry but things happen, that's life. I was trying to get it done as fast as possible because I knew she had to go to work and I didn't want her to miss a lot of time but she would not stop being upset and when she's upset she gets quiet and moody and rude and I'm pissed because I'm like I don't need the disrespect right now. Was she being selfish because I feel like she was. |
Question: How can I persuade my 9 year old cousin, with austism to wear a leash? Posted: 19 Aug 2017 09:29 AM PDT He normally wears a leash when he goes out because he always runs off. However he thinks that I don't know he wears it. I'm taking him out next week and he'll try to get me to not put it on him. What should I do? Shall I just put it on him or shall I argue with him? |
Question: Is it normal to have super jealous first-cousins? Seriously.? Posted: 19 Aug 2017 08:58 AM PDT First cousins are supposed to be best friends, no? I find it so sad that they can be jealous towards you because you are successful. I though they WERE RELATIVES!!! |
Question: 25 years old and still have a curfew! HELP!? Posted: 19 Aug 2017 08:46 AM PDT On top of that yes I still live at home, and i just graduated so I'm looking for a full time job. Due to that curfew it seems impossible to stay out past 12. Am i in the right to feel upset about this, i understand im still living at home and that i need to follow my parents very old school rules but I feel i deserved to be cut some slack. It has also become an issue if i hang out with my friends "too much". My mother would usually wait until I get home and scream at me. I'm just embarassed mostly because my friends have asked to hang out and of course I cant since they plan things late night. Am I missing something here!? I thought you were supposed to spen time with your bf/gf. Any suggestions? And no I cannot move out its financially not able to happen sadly with my minimum wage paycheck. Please no rude comments and thank you for commenting :) |
Question: Mother likes me more than when I was 40 lbs heavier? Posted: 19 Aug 2017 08:39 AM PDT Ever since I started losing weight, my mom seems to like me more, maybe because she sees in me what she was like when she was my weight? I m 16 btw. She s nicer, buying me more things and more interested in my social life. Is this strange? I have changed since I lost weight however, I used to be quite lazier, now I m lighter I can get more work done and I have more energy. |
Question: No freedom for this hot-headed, stir crazy, middle schooler? Posted: 19 Aug 2017 08:33 AM PDT Okay. So lets start off with an obvious fact, I'm a bit hot-headed. But it can get to the point where I punch/kick the wall, which has givin me injuries. Not enough to be hospitalized though, Im not an idiot. Anyway, I want to take up kickboxing or karate because I heard it can help with anger and Ive asked my mom before but she always says "go ask your dad" or "we dont have the money" The first ones hard since my parents are divorced and my dad only has himself to provide on, but my mooommm. She works for about 40-50 dollars for a few nights then her boyfriend (whom we live with) has a job too. Also my mom and dad dont give me freedom. Like, I cant walk to places, even if theyre RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER, or walk the creek path which is, might I say, is RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER, then when it ends, where does it end, hmm? RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER! For at least my moms house, I get it for my dad since our little neighborhood is a bit secluded from anything. But seriously, Im becoming stir crazy. Especially at my moms, since SIX other people are living here and I share a room with my littlest sister. Like, I hate my little sister so much I now sleep downstairs on the couch. But anyway, over at my moms, going outside on the weekends is like rare. Like, if theyre scared for my safety or something, give me one of your pocket knives. EASY! Erh, sry for ranting. Is there ANYTHING I can do for freedom? ;°; |
Question: WAS I WRONG FOR CARING? Posted: 19 Aug 2017 08:29 AM PDT Hi so I'm 22 and my boyfriend is 28 and he got a dui charge in 2015 and this weekend he have to do jail time for 48 hours which started today.his older brother told him they don't give you a sobriety test or drug test when you go so they got beers and weed before he went in there and his brother let him drive and I told him he shouldn't drink or anything before he went in but he still decided to listen to his brother. So we got mad at each other before he left. I wasn't trying to be his mother or anything but I honestly didn't like he listen to his brother about almost everything and he didn't listen to me in a situation like this. He told me i shouldn't care about what he do and I'm not caring about him. (Didn't make sense) any thoughts?? |

Question: Back in Feb my step dad died of a heart attack the day before my 14 birthday.? Posted: 19 Aug 2017 07:39 AM PDT Yesterday marked 6 months from his death and on July 4th my mom got a boyfriend which is great and all but he has 5 kids! And my mom has 4. All his kids are brats and loud and they are always over. They have had sex numourous times and I can't stand it. And he is using her. Ever since they got together we have had to take his kids to the doctor, babysit his kids, take them school shopping, and he is using our new truck because he won't get his car fixed. But my mom has her head too far her *** to realize what she is doing. No one likes the situation other than her, the whole thing is ridiculous. What do I do? Is there some way I can break them up or something? |

Question: How do I deal with my mother? Posted: 19 Aug 2017 04:27 AM PDT I feel like my mum and I are from different worlds and in some sense, we are. We grew up in different countries with very different mindsets; hers being that parents have the right to control their kids until they die... Basically, I m 20 so I m not a teen anymore but I m also Asian, which means that parents are super judgmental and controlling. My mom doesn t like the outfits that I wear and constantly tells me that the clothes I wear and my style are too "trashy" when they re actually not. To top things off, I have a job and buy my own clothes using my own savings. She is constantly telling me that I should dress more "appropriately" and more "sweet and girly" and constantly says that guys will never like me because of the way I dress just because she doesn t like the fact that I have somewhat of an edgy style. (I ve had two boyfriends, none of which she ever knew about.) Also, she ll NEVER LEAVE ME ALONE. As much as I know she cares for me, she doesn t know how to let go and calls/texts me at least 5 times a day when I m out. When I m at home with them, she constantly wants to talk to me about work, gossip, celeb news, food e.t.c when I have zero interest in talking to her and it is so draining. I ve talked to her about it but old habits die hard. I live one of the most expensive cities in the world so PLEASE don t tell me to move out anytime soon. |

Question: Today my sister is leaving for college. How do I handle this? Posted: 19 Aug 2017 03:40 AM PDT Hi. So my sister has been my best friend my whole life. To make a long story short, we had a very bad mom who chose to do drugs and be intimate with men, than be with us. We were just along for the ride. So when my mom was gone for several hours to even a whole day, my 3 year old sister had to take care of a newborn me. She had to steal food from neighbors, steal milk, beg, take beatings, etc . all to protect me. She was basically my mom. My best friend. All I had. She's the literal reason I'm still alive. Our mom met a sugar daddy, he didn't want kids, so she put us in an orphanage. We went through foster care, and a lot of abuse before a year and a half later, our grandma took us in. Our grandma kept us fed with a roof and clothes, but instead of physical beatings, we took emotional ones. All we had was each other. We both made plenty of friends in school, but last year, I lost them all and was severely bullied because of a fake rumor. I left school and became homeschooled online. My cat and my sister for the past year have now officially been my only true source of friendship. Now today she is leaving, and I feel like a part of me is dying. The longest we have been apart from each other in our whole lives, is 2 weeks. Now she's going to college and will be leaving home forever. How do I cope? I'm sorry for the long story. I wanted to give some back story so that you could know how much my sister really means to me and why this is so hard. If you read all this, thank you. |
Question: Would this upset you ? Or would you take it as a joke? Posted: 19 Aug 2017 01:58 AM PDT So I went to my cousins house to visit since she lives 7 hours away from where I live and then we went to six flags the second day I was there then I was scared to get on most rides and my cousin got mad and said that I should've stayed at home with my grandma, that hurt my feelings when she said that. Also she kept repeating the same stuff that I should've stayed with my grandma in L.A Taking care of her ( I live In Los Angeles) she lives in north cali Each time she kept saying that hurted my feelings a lot Then she would call me fat sometimes |
Question: Pain in heart/ left side of chest?? Posted: 19 Aug 2017 01:21 AM PDT Since yesterday, I'm having this shooting pain in the left part of my chest only. It's not exactly 'painful', but I can feel it and it's making me stressed. My parents are always pressurising me, especially my dad who is sending me to a holiday camp forcefully when I don't want to go and my mum is just agreeing with him. I tried telling them politely that I only have a week left till school starts but instead what they say is: "You only deserve to sit at home and you'll grow up to work in a tiny shop." That's so discouraging. A few weeks ago, I consulted a doctor and she herself told them to give me some freedom because I have abnormal stress levels that caused hormone imbalances, harming me physically as well as mentally. My parents care for me, but they never let me take decisions for myself so I never feel like i'm a part of the family. I've become negative, useless and I now have confidence issues. What should I do? |

Question: I have to wear a dress to school. Is this even fair? Posted: 18 Aug 2017 11:48 PM PDT I recently made fun of my sister for wearing a new dress and told her that she belongs in the kitchen doing woman's work which isn't even a big deal. My mom got mad at me for no reason so I called her a **** since that's what she was being but now she's making me wear my sisters clothes as punishment and says I have to go to school on Monday dressed as a girl. She's gonna make me wear panties, bra and dress with heels since apparently I've been disrespectful of women for so long which is bs. She's even thinking of getting my long hair styled with nails painted too. She's already got me dressed going to bed in my sisters nightgown. I'm soooo embarrassed and don't want to show my face at school. What do I do? Do you think she'll go threw with it? It's not even fair to do this to a boy, is it? |
Question: What could I possibly do? Help!? Posted: 18 Aug 2017 09:12 PM PDT I'm 13 going into 8h grade and I'm currently unhappy with my life (not suicidal) and very far from suicidal but ever since my dad died in 2016, life hasn't been the same for me. I'm left being the only boy/ man in my fam amongst my mom and 3 siblings, one of which is younger than me. She's the slob of the family. I always get told by my fam that I'm the cleanest one of the family and get almost no appreciation. I'm not one to take money from my single widowed mother who "fights" to provide us the best life possible. My sisters are often up late playing their shows and **** loud and it gets annoying but not only that they always leave messes around the house that I end up cleaning up cause I feel bad for my mom and can't stand to see her get upset over this. I always tell my younger sibling to do this and do that (clean up something she did) but she never does. I hate living in my household, ideas? |
Question: Can I but bomb a single room? Posted: 18 Aug 2017 08:47 PM PDT I've seen so many larder Beatles in my room this summer and I'm sick of it. I asked my dad if I could bug bomb my room and he said yes. Can I just leave my door shut and bug bomb my room and go downstairs and wait? Or does everyone in the house have to leave the house for a few hours? I have a geuina pig, do I bring her downstairs or outside with me? And I also want to know what the most affective bug bomb is. |
Question: Should I apologize for saying "f*ck you" to my dad.? Posted: 18 Aug 2017 08:28 PM PDT We got into an argument over some really minor mistake I made (dropping food on the floor). I immediately started cleaning up my mess, but the situation erupted into a mountain from a molehill. He started making VERY insulting remarks to me, and I told him "f*ck you". This provoked him to physically assault me, rip my eyeglasses off my head, and throw them in my dark bedroom. I can BARELY SEE where I'm going without them, and had to feel around for them in the dark while trying not to step on them. He seems to think he deserves an apology, even though he's equally at fault for the way he acted towards me Who should apologize here? |
Question: Is there a term for my older cousin who's my grandads sisters son? Posted: 18 Aug 2017 07:02 PM PDT Isnt it just like 2nd or 3rd cousin or something? |
Question: What should I do about this void/tension between me & my sister? Posted: 18 Aug 2017 06:39 PM PDT I know my sister has been feeling down lately but she s really pushing me away too, I don t mean to sound bratty but I honestly feel like my presence is unwanted most of the time.. we developed a very close bond since losing our dad 3 years ago, we were raised like twins but were definitely drawn closer since the loss & we would lean on each other through everything.. She says she s felt down since quitting her job & I know she may suffer with depression but I literally run to her the moment she s upset attempting to lift her spirits which always seems to help & she comes to me for advice etc but things drastically changed since she got involved with her new relationship.. I don t want to sound like the jealous, bratty sister bc I m engaged & living my life too, but I can t help feeling like the way she s treating me now will affect our relationship in the longterm; she never responds to my messages but when she s with me she s always on her phone. If I m spending a couple of hours with her she s also making plans with her new bf as he s calling her every 20 minutes, she s trying to live her life around him. I hardly see her or hear from her anymore & when I visit her there s so many awkward silences unless she s asking for advice. I ve tried opening up about this but she ll discard everything I say & try to alter my perspective so I prioritise her bf too. It s been 4 weeks I hardly know him.. what should I do?:/ |

Question: Do men care about their appearance like women? Posted: 18 Aug 2017 06:00 PM PDT Do men want to look like models too? |
Posted: 18 Aug 2017 05:57 PM PDT my dad decided that they needed to stop at the local Mexican restaurant and get drunk at 3 pm. My younger brother has his first game/scrimmage today. I told him that he was going to embarrass himself and my brother because he was acting ridiculous. He was spouting about being in his forties and being allowed to do whatever he wants. I told him that he was ignorant and selfish for doing this on a day that his kid was starting his last year of football. I told him that he was acting like a douchebag, and that he was just trying to impress his friends but they'd probably think he was acting like a teenager. He screamed at me, telling me that at least he has friends unlike me. He's right too. I'm a kinder and introverted. I'd rather be at home than going to parties. He's right though and I feel worthless, like I shouldn't even be alive anymore. What's the point when I'm just a huge disappointment. My mom gets mad because I don't talk to boys, ny dad... well I know what he thinks of me and my brother, I'm pretty sure he wishes he was an only child. Today was the closest I've come to giving into my suicidal thoughts. What am I supposed to do? Do I just keep it bottled inside? My parents won't listen, they'll think I'm overreacting. I have one friend who only talks about the guys she likes meanwhile I'm not even good enough for guys to look at. I can't talk to her about this because she'll tell her mom who is conviently my moms best friend. What do I do? |
Posted: 18 Aug 2017 05:56 PM PDT It would mean a lot to me. |
Question: My Aunt wants to charge me rent, but I don't want to pay rent, what should I do? Posted: 18 Aug 2017 05:54 PM PDT I am 24 years old and my parents recently passed away in a car accident. I was going to find a place of my own but my Aunt made the suggestion to come live with her and her husband so I can save a little money since i am going to school. She says she is doing it out of the goodness of her heart so i am wondering why she wants to charge me 300 a month for rent. I figure if she really was doing it out of the goodness of her heart she wouldn't charge me anything. Anyway I don't like that she wants to charge me rent so I want to tell her I'm not staying here, but she treats all her adult nephew and nieces like 6 year olds, so how do I go about telling her? |
Question: How can i make my dad know i'm not a disappointment? Posted: 18 Aug 2017 05:35 PM PDT so this may seem like a bad question to ask because of course i love my dad and he's the best dad for me in my opinion but i don't know it's just hard i guess. anyways lemme start this off on this, i'm 14 years old and i live in mexico. Anyways i'm always doing things for my dad, usually only when he asks me to help because usually everything is done and there's nothing i can do really. i'm usually on my phone and he always gets mad for not going out enough but i usually do go out... i don't have many friends here because i can't speak spanish i only can understand it. it honestly seems like i do everything wrong and nothing i do is ever right. i'm learning to cook and i don't want to burn myself so i go slow usually. he gets so mad and calls me a clown. anyways just to make this short it seems like i do everything wrong and i can never keep my dad happy and usually he gets so mean to me i want to cry but if i cry he would hit me because crying is for babies... he's a story to tell you |
