We all share a love for music, and that's pretty much why we'd meet up. We would talk and play our stuff. It's a hobby, none of us think we're going to be famous or anything like that. But we do like playing, and making our own stuff. I missed our last couple of meetings, and haven't heard a word from any of them. That isn't a surprise because, even though I didn't want to believe it, I've known for awhile that none of us are really friends. For awhile has been talk that we could play at a local bar and grill that one of the guys girlfriend works at. This idea has been tossed around, and we were all interesting in doing it. Pretty much, we'd each play one of our own songs one at a time. Just something for fun, and for any family or loved ones who'd want to see you play to see you at. I have an actual friend who works at this place, and she told me that my musician "friends" all had their little gig there the other day. They didn't let me know or anything. Not to just come and see them, and certainly not because I wanted to do this too. I find this out, and I'm getting more bothered as I think of it. It tells me even more, that they were never my friends at all. Am I right to be upset by this? |

The only job I could find to fit my hours and paid good was at a legal brothel. I maintain their computer system. Someone from a local church must have heard about my job and a group from the church came to visit me at school to urge me to quit my job or they told me I was going to hell. What that group did not know was that I recognized the name of one them as a repeat customer of the brothel. Should I have confronted the repeat customer and asked if he was going to hell with me or just ignore them all? It is sure was tempting to tell the group about his history at the brothel but if I did I would probably get fired. What would be something I can say to this brothel's repeat customer to shut him up? |

That's ok but he acidiebtly led me on. (He didn't do it on purpose but unitnelaly) he was kind of clear he couldn't hang out whenever I asked but I was in denial I stopped asking now but I was still mad. He's helped me through a lot he just didn't make me a priority. Anyways I was pissed so i texted his cousin and said that he hurt me and I wanted to do the same to him. He said ok so his cousin told him they were going to play baseball where I planned and made a huge mud pit. Anyways I showed up and said hey. He was happy to see me and asked how I was doing. I said good you? Then I said I had a surprise for him. I blindfolded him and led him to the mud pit. I then yanked the blindfold off him and haven him a huge shove face first into the mud. I laughed so hard and so Did his cousin. He was flithy. He was cowvred in mud all over his face and hair beard everywhere. I then dunked his face back into the mud gave his cousin a high five and left. I feel kind of bad now though. He didn't mean to hurt me but I was upset in the moment should I feel bad? |

I want to start off by saying that Sarah the most humble and kind person so she isn't ever condescending towards me. But the problem here is centered around academics. Next to her, I feel like a complete idiot. She has well over a 4.0 gpa (4.75 gpa), she's in numerous clubs, she's the vice-president of one of the clubs she's in, she's most likely going to be valedictorian and if not that, then salutatorian, she's been personally emailed by many great colleges including Harvard, Fordham University, Oregon State, etc. and some have offered her scholarships and college application fee waivers. She can pretty much get into nearly any college of her choice. And then me. An unweighted gpa of 3.6, in 2 varsity sports, an embarrassing PSAT10 score of 990, and I'm apart of my school's honors program which Sarah is apart of as well. And that pretty much sums up how completely and utterly amazing I am. I'm extremely happy and proud of her and sometimes I even find myself bragging about her and her accomplishments, but I can't help but feel bad about myself whenever I hear of another one of her many many achievements. My self esteem has stooped so low that it's most likely at the point of no return. My question is, how do I stop feeling so bad about myself as well as feeling so inferior to her? |

We are all friends and have all been hanging out all summer. So one day, S invites H, L, and B to an amusement park. Everyone else would not have made it anyway, but T was home alone and doing nothing while two of her best friends were at the park with the other two. T was upset, but she let it go and moved on. The whole group was okay after that, but then T decided to have her four bests over: W, B, and L. Now, H, S, G, and D are freaking out and calling T, W, B, and L bitches on social media. Also, W has an eating disorder, and S posted that she was "crazy". Now T wants to argue but L and B do not and want no drama. What do I do? I am T. And also H texted me a bunch of **** and we left it with things being tensed. I'm super pissed and wanna fight but as I said they are posted on social media and already have other kids taking their side calling us bitches. One of these steps is to get in good with her friends, and another is to join some activities she does. Today, I found out she's signing up to do scenery in a school play, and that sounded interesting to me, so I signed up. This will make it so we have to interact on a daily basis for a while. I was telling my friend this, and he said it was manipulative for me to be nice to her friends just to get to her and to put myself in situations where she's forced to talk to me. Within a month he started staying with me b/c he lost his home and his job. He never got me to pay for anything he worked side jobs to pay his own way so I never had to spend extra for him being there. he was always loving and attentive to me and how I feel. 3 weeks ago he was arrested for stalking his ex b/c of wanting to see the kids. I knew the time he was arrested b/c I literally got sick to my stomach over it and didn't find out until the next morning. I have always had a connection with him, I've managed to call him a lawyer to help him but financially I cant put money up for a lawyer. He knows how I feel about him and he tells me all the time how much he loves me and misses me and all of the kids (6 total between the two of us). I am now sick to my stomach and upset b/c I received a letter from him explaining that he had been on drugs before going to jail and wants to start fresh. I haven't heard from him since I got the letter so I'm on edge. I'm wondering if I'm just stupid in love and feeling sick b/c of that or just sick in general that he never told me. he is getting help while in jail so that's a positive thing. I want him home and cant help but wonder if everything he is saying is true or a lie. Am I connected to him so much that me being sick is natural? |

Since my family has problems and we need to be at home all the time I went on vacation to a resort for TWO days. I came one day and left the next. My friends however, always make plans together and leave me out. They purposely make plans in front of me and never invite me, and I don't want to seem snobby or annoying by asking. They've had two sleepovers, gone to a water park, the movies, two birthday parties, gone to each other's houses but never invite me. I'm pissed but I'm also miserable about it. They talk about how fun it was in front of me. I hate it. There's another girl specifically, we'll call her M. M used to be invited everywhere, and always made tons of plans. She's the most popular. But she always ruins everything. She never invites me when she says she's my friend. However people began to notice how annoying she was. People stopped inviting her because she took fun out of everything. Then even when people don't tell her about plans, she straight up confronts them and talks about how bad they are for not inviting her and how sad she is. She doesn't understand how annoying she's being when everyone's else just wants to have a good time. I don't want to ask for an invitation like her because I don't want to be like her and act annoying and vain. I'm just lost and miserable and bored and just ugh. |

I do understand that some people aren't into texting but I personally would feel wrong to leave someone I liked and cared about hanging like that. I do once remember a friend saying this person had been texting a lot one night so I assumed she'd be a texter.... Again...I'm asking how you can tell the difference. Posted: 24 Aug 2017 09:44 AM PDT Tonight is my school's first home game of the season and it's a pretty big deal cuz my school just spent an a$$load of money to redo all the fields (very good choice). My brother is on the team so I want to watch and support him but like I don't have anyone to go with. Most of my friends don't go to my school and it's kinda too late to try to make plans with them. My friends that go to my school are in marching band so I won't be able to hang out with them. I don't really care if I'm seen out with my parents because I love them but I don't really feel like feeling self conscious. There's a huge group of popular kids in my grade and idk how they feel about me (I'm apart of the nerd clique). I don't care about them but I just really fear ridicule. I'm really shy but I can be really outgoing. I don't know who'll be there and if I could find a friend to hang out with. I want to join in the school spirit, but I don't want to feel self conscious and I don't really want to put myself in a bad mood. I put so much pressure on myself. I have a cat and she is always distracted by him, which I don t mind because a lot of my friends like to play with him. But it gets annoying every now and then because I feel like I m not being payed attention too especially when I m trying to say something. Yesterday, she met my sister and I wanted to leave my house so me and my friend can go to the park. But my friend kept insisting we stay with my sister and it was mostly just her playing with my sister, completely ignoring me. I eventually went outside because it was getting really annoying and I didn t like standing there being ignored. Maybe 30 minutes to an hour, I finally convince her to go to the park with me. This whole process was just annoying and I hate being pushed to the side for something else. But when it is just us 2, we are fine. She is a really good friend of mine but I dont know if I am just being overdramatic or whatnot. I even tell her directly that I feel avoided because she is doing this and she said that she cares about me more to hang out with. I have a feeling she will forget this and go back to smothering my sis and cat, thats the type of person she is. It makes me want to not bring her to my house anymore to be honest. What should I do? |

I am visiting from out of town and he has to go to work, which I understand. So he tells me he will be back at 4:30 so I plan to head back to his place there. I get to his place at 4:25 and decide to wait. Then he calls and tells me he is going to be two hours late. I feel like he could have told me before the time we had agreed to meet. This has happened on occasioan before. Once I had even turned down other plans cause he was coming to visit for a weekend, then he calls friday and says he will not be able to make it. How do I confront him about this? |

I'm old enough for people to not worry about strangers (I'm not 12) but I'm not old enough to be able to pay for a phone myself. I'll get notifications and she'll immediately read them, even when I'm standing right there. Then when I tell her not to she freaks out, telling me if I wasn't doing anything wrong, then why I had to hide my texts, or how she owns the phone so she can read my texts whenever she wants. She also says that most phycologists encourage it and if anyone asked, they would say she wasn't doing it enough. I am a good kid and I don't text or receive anything inappropriate. Most of the time it's just a groupchat going off or a friend asking a question, but it's the PRINCIPLE that I want privacy and I'm not getting it. She also asks me who I'm talking to when I'm texting and sometimes she'll walk into my room without knocking when I'm getting dressed or something. How can I tell her I expect privacy when I've already told her about 100 times? |

At school I told a freshman 14 year old that she should give her first BJ to am 18 year old senior, she told him what I told her, and he talked to me and her. Yesterday I saw them sneak into a secret bathroom, and then 15 minutes later an officer walked in while they were doing it, and i watched my best friend (the senior) and the freshman get in immense trouble. I found out that he is in a detention center in custody and will be going to court in a couple hours. I saw that the cash bail will be 10,000 dollars. I am not old enough to get a job, and my parents don't have the money. Is there any way that I could make at least half that money? He is not a bad person, he is in jail for something completely and udderly stupid that i told a freshman girl. I need to know how to make the money so my parents can cash it in and bail him out of a possible 1 to 10 years in jail. Please don't tell me how stupid i am, I feel horrible and honestly wish that i could've stopped what's happening, and i feel like he hates my guts. I need to do this or i will never be able to forgive myself for ruining another person's life. |

I don't really train there, I just play while dancers dance. I always play the same music, which I know without sheets since I am going there for 2 years. I really hate going there bcz I don't have friends, and everyone is in groups. I talk to some of them sometimes, but there is no one that I can hang out with. I really just don't want to go there sometimes, but my parents wont listen, and they always say that is my problem bcz others wont talk with me and stuff. I think it's not like that, I am really outgoing person, I have lots of friends, but when I am there I really feel uncomfortable, everyone is older than me, and they always gossip about the kids I don't know, since we are from different areas. I was taken by ambulance because we didnt know how bad my injuries were. In the ambulance the girl that put the needle in my arm did something wrong cause she and in got sprayed with my blood, they cleaned most of the blood up. This girl that is only my friend and I really don't know real well comes to visit me at the hospital. She sees all the dirt and blood on my arms and she started to clean me up out of nowhere. Does that mean that she likes me or was she being extremely nice to me?? |

Posted: 24 Aug 2017 01:56 AM PDT Me and my best friend have been friends for over 4 years and we have had a our ups and downs but we have shown a unconditional love for eachother for so long. He told me he loves me everyday. After he went to college 3 days ago he has been very distant barley texting me and sometimes rude. I recently called him and he just told me "whatever happens, happens" to "go with the flow" and whenever i asked him if hes trying to like forget the past life hes had he said "hes ready to change and move on." We always talked about getting a apartment together and when i when i talked to him recently on the phone he was like "Yeah its fine dude like you can come vist me in my apartment sometimes", like everything we have talked about was a lie. When i ask when i can come vist him at his dorm hes always like "just stop". He was never like this and we have always talked and told eachother how we are gonna be best friends forever and now hes acting like thats in the past and hes ready to move on. We cried over eachother and showed so much love, but after he went to college its been weird. He has acted somewhat weird and off like this before when he got a car. What does this mean? Does he just not wanna be friends anymore? |

I have never wanted to start my own family. I don't date because I see no reason for it. I do get offers but eh.. I just don't like dating anymore.
