Question: How can I study without school? Posted: 11 Aug 2017 01:52 PM PDT I failed my classes and can no longer attend my school due to too many attempts. but i want to continue studying because I don't want to fail my family and drop out with only a highschool diploma. I can't let my family know either because I'm sure they'd disown me...I wish that was an exaggeration. I'm not a dead beat, I work near full time, but it wouldn't satisfy them enough to be lenient about this |
Posted: 11 Aug 2017 01:40 PM PDT Well until recently, my mom was nice. We got along better than me and my father (I am a guy). But recently, my mom has been giving me attitude atleast once a day every day I saw her in the past 8 days. She went on vacation for a few days and we didnt talk much while she was gone. But atleast once a day everyday I have seen her in the past 8 days (seen her like 5 times in the past 8 days. atleast once everyday of those 5 days she has been fussing, ruthless, and giving me attitude.) She was also acting like a spoiled brat (she left her damn phone at home when she was at the airport, so I drove from the airport, to home, and then back to the airport in such a hurry to give her her damn phone. I did her a BIG favor and she wasnt too thankful for what I did (she says she doesnt owe me anything, and it is me who owes her. BEFORE we went to the damn airport, I carried her suitcase to the car when her hands were EMPTY.) So it seems like we are beggining to have a bad relationship AGAIN (this already happened once. When I was between the ages 8 and 14, my mom and I were always arguing and mad at eachother no matter what. When I turned 15, this did settle though. I am now almost 20.) So is this a sign or warning that me and my mom are gonna wind up having another heated relationship like we used to? (history repeats itself you know). I got a feeling we are about to hate on eachother like we used to when I was younger. |
Question: How did my 13 year old daughter know about this? Posted: 11 Aug 2017 01:39 PM PDT My 13 year old daughter came to me with what she thought was a problem. She had heard her brother tell his friend on the phone that he was going to spank the monkey. She was afraid he was going to hurt an animal. OH MY GOD. How do you explain to your daughter what her brother was really going to do? I explained to her what he really meant by what he said. That is when I got a BIG SHOCK. She said "If he was going to j**k off, why didn't he just say so and then I would know what he meant". He does that all the time. I must also have a talk with my son about locking the door to his room when he does that. Is my daughter growing up way to fast. Parents, (and teenage girls) please give me some guidance? Isn't 13 to young to know about all that stuff? |
Question: How can I convince my mom to let me go to a Halsey concert? Posted: 11 Aug 2017 01:09 PM PDT I'm 13 years old and Halsey is my idol. I love her music and her personality...and she's coming to my state for the Hopeless Fountain Kingdom tour. Obviously I'm not asking for front row seats and to go with just friends...I'm only 13. I told her I'll pay for my ticket and I'd be happy for her to come with me. But she keeps on saying no or brushing it off. She says she might get me tickets for my birthday but the tour will be over by then and I cannot miss this opportunity. |
Question: Is ny brother going to get bullied? Posted: 11 Aug 2017 12:13 PM PDT My little brother starts his senior year on Wednesday. And he's going to probably be the only male in a lot of his classes. He's got classes like culinary, cross fit, parenting, child development and for some reason acting but that's neither here nor there. He did take summer school for 3 weeks and while he wasn't one of the popular kids he did find his own group of kids and for lack of a better term became king of the nerds. I'm not saying this to be mean but I remember going to high school and a lot of the other girls were mean to me. My brother's been teased and met with racism sometimes but he's never actually been beat up. He's not the kind of nerd that will go to conventions but he's not cool either. He's really smart he speaks more languages than me. And I was surprised to find out he was friends with one of the basketball players. But his guy friends won't be in classes with him this year. He has female friends but they're likely not in those classes. I was surprised when I had one of my friends over and she called him sexy I asked if it was a joke but she genuinely found him cute. My brothers not ugly but he's not Brad Pitt he works out but not frequent enough. He's quiet unless you start a conversation with him, he doesn't initiate conversations |
Question: Should I go to the annual family reunion or not? Posted: 11 Aug 2017 11:51 AM PDT It's my mom's side of the family who I don't get along with... crazy fundamentalists (I'm not religious). Also half of the dudes there beat their wives and the wives are the ones who are actually blood-related to me. Even the relatives I find tolerable I have nothin in common with so it's always super-awkward. My parents run around trying to make a good impression on everyone and I just don't give a ****. I think it's all a superficial, sad, dysfunctional train wreck but not actually interesting enough to watch. Should I go or not? |
Question: I still call my older brother "Bubba" sometimes, is that weird? Posted: 11 Aug 2017 11:09 AM PDT I'm 18 and my brother is 24 now.. my brother and family do not see any harm in it (considering I call my parents "mommy" and "daddy" and grandparents "mama" and "papa") but my brother's new girlfriend has an issue with it. She says it sounds like I'm trying to steal my brother for my "own personal reason".. when I'm not calling 'Bubba' it is "Bro" "Big Bro" or "Coda" is it weird? Personally I could care less what people think but his gf's thinking is weird. If you've read my previous post about being the oldest, I mean in my house, not in my family. |
Question: My girlfriends hate me cause I'm American? Posted: 11 Aug 2017 11:07 AM PDT My girlfriends parents hate me cause I'm American. They're Russian and Ukrainian. They are Pentecostal and I'm baptist so they immediately hate me do to my religion. I was in the military and they hate that too cause they're anti war. Now I love my girlfriend to death and things were going amazing for us, until I met her father. He was horrible to me and I left and she moved in with me and they won't talk to her and it's negatively effecting her. She's says it doesn't bother her and I know it does. Her life is being ruined cause we're together, I feel. We have a baby for on the way, she's pregnant and they will disown her if she marries me and they don't know she's pregnant cause when we first got together they said "we will pray your first born child dies". And that freaks me out, I don't believe anything will come from it cause that's nonsense but I don't get it. Why be so rude? For no reason? They're in America not Russia anymore I don't get it. Please help me what do I do?! I don't wanna lose her to her family. |
Question: Is it a good idea to ask my sister to be my model? Posted: 11 Aug 2017 10:59 AM PDT My sister is a perfectionist when it comes to taking pictures of herself. She seems to have very mild concern when she takes ordinary pictures of herself. However, whenever she takes pictures of herself in bikinis, that is when she wants to look absolutely perfect. She keeps saying that she does not look her best in past beach photos taken. Since I have learned many photography skills in college, I was hoping that I could apply my skills to help my sister to look nice in photos. She is not embarrassed to wear bikinis and loves to wear them overall. As a result, I think I can ask her to model in a bikini to help her with her photogenic problem. Should I ask her to be my model? |
Question: Why do i feel like living at my cousins house rather than living at my parents house? Posted: 11 Aug 2017 10:58 AM PDT My parents went on holiday for 3 weeks and left my bro and i on our oen at our request. I stayed at my cousins for the time . Now my parents are going to come back tomorrow. I feel like staying at my cousins rather than my parents. I dont know why. Can anyone help? I do hate my dad and feel like it would be way better if he was out of my life. Im 19. |

Posted: 11 Aug 2017 10:23 AM PDT Non-custodial Father has every other weekend visits, plus Holiday, summer vacation and first right of refusal on his birthday & Father's Day (he can choose to have them or not even if it's not his day). No custody order is currently in place. MOST of our issues we have been able to either compromise on or one of us was willing to give in for the sake of our sons. However, I think it's time to get a formal custody and visitation order. I am looking for advice and outside points of view. Our two sons are both under the age of 12. Their sport of choice is soccer. This is the second season where their Father is refusing to allow the boys to attend any soccer events (tournaments, games, team party, trophy ceremony) that fall on his weekend. He is also refusing to discuss the issue any further than to say "you don't get to dictate my visitation. That takes away from my time with them". I have asked to at least discuss our current arrangement to see if we could compensate his "lost" time with other visitation. However he is not willing to hear any of it. He is remarried with 4 step children and 2 new biological children. I have offered to help with transport. My sons do not have a very strong bond with their Father and I think his participation and interest would help strengthen this. My boys are really disappointed that they have to miss so much. Any Advice on how to proceed? |

Question: Why am I annoyed by my dad so easily? Posted: 11 Aug 2017 10:09 AM PDT I love my dad and I know he has given me everything and I always try not to be rude or say anything that might hurt him...when he tells me some cheesy dad jokes or something he thinks is funny but actually isn t, he is just trying to make me laugh and that s sweet and I know that but I still get annoyed as hell!!! Why??? Is this some teenage thing that will go away by time? |

Posted: 11 Aug 2017 09:57 AM PDT My grandfather on my Dad's side died the Monday before and his funeral was at the same time. I was planning on going to my cousin's wedding but I had to change it due to my grandfather's death. I felt the funeral should come first. Obviously they had reserved a spot for me and I had to cancel 4 days in advance. I feel awful because my Mom is not alive anymore so it is just me they would include to things. Now they have stopped including me in anything and didn't come to the party I had last Christmas. Was I wrong to skip it for my grandfather's funeral? I couldn't imagine not going to my grandfather's funeral. How do I make up to them? When my Mom first died they stopped including us since my parents were divorced, then I began reach out out a lot and they started including me (not my siblings). Now I am excluded again. I was apologetic when it happened and apologized a 2nd time after the wedding-funeral were both over. Any ideas? My aunt is equally as excluding and her brother got married last weekend I saw on Facebook and all my cousins were asked but I was not. They are civil the two times I have seen them but very brief. |
Question: How do get an annoying 9 year old boy to shut the **** up? Posted: 11 Aug 2017 09:56 AM PDT |
Question: Are you close to you're parents? Mine are divorced and it can be hard now.? Posted: 11 Aug 2017 09:50 AM PDT Both my parents are divorced and have been for 14 years. I'm a adult now in my 30's and living on my own. I haven't seen my mom since mothers day. Before that might have been one other time when she came over to see a movie. Its pretty rare that she will call and ask to see if I want to go out to eat or hang out. I haven't even been to my moms at all this year. She lives 40 mins from me and she works about a mile away from me. This guy that she is with doesn't like me for some reason. I have said bad things about him but that's because he can be rude to me. Like when I didn't want to go a family get together. My mom got mad about it and I said "mom I just don't feel like being around certain people. How about if I come over and we can watch a movie together" this guy she is with said "well what if I said I don't want you here" My mom got mad about me not wanting to go and he had no reason to say what he did. Yes I know he was trying to be there for her but he needs to respect my choices. When I told her about his a while ago she said "oh he didn't say that" I said "yes he did you were there" and she told me to grow up and she said "well what would you say if he didn't want you over" Yes I know she was angry at the time. After she she didn't call until like a month later. She just asked to see what I've been up to and never said she was sorry. I guess its time to move on |
Question: How to comfort my little brothers? Posted: 11 Aug 2017 09:27 AM PDT Hi, I am 18 and I have a 15, 10, 5 year old brothers and a 2 month old brother. I am going off to college next week and all of them are upset and don't want me to go. I'm very close to them, and I came home to find all of them crying, especially the 15 year old... He has anxiety and depression and our parents aren't the most supportive people, so I called my older sister who is 23, and she said she'll be down as much as she can while I'm gone. Poor boys :( my question is how can I comfort them, I got all of them something so they have something to think about me while I'm gone, but I have no clue how to comfort them. (15 year old brother has been unpacking my stuff) poor boys :( thank you for answering. |
Question: My dad is walking out on us? Posted: 11 Aug 2017 09:23 AM PDT Last night my dad had a crazy mental breakdown and this morning he starts packing up all his things and says he is leaving, what should i do? My mom isn't going to stop him she is scared and kinda done with him at this point. |
Question: Do you think it is excessive to visit someone every Sunday? Posted: 11 Aug 2017 09:05 AM PDT My uncle visits every Sunday. I wish he would give us a break. He doesn't have a wife or family and I don't want him to be lonley but he is also very rude. He says whatever he wants and doesn't care if he offends. He also won't take a hint if we are sick he still visits. Now he wants us to call him the day before if we are not going to be home. |

Question: Feel like an outsider in my family is it my fault ? Posted: 11 Aug 2017 07:09 AM PDT My mom swears she doesn't choose favorites but when it comes down to it she always chooses one of my sisters over me. But whenever my sister decides to quarrel with me I'm the one who gets screamed at and threatened. Even the other night when my mom was talking to me about my sisters friend who does hardcore drugs and close to my age who bullied me in school severely had a miscarriage she wanted my sympathy when I've had two miscarriages in last 6 mthe nobody except my husband has shown any sympathy. It hurts so bad I don't like complaining but I can't talk to my family about this my moms told me shut up and don't start pity me bullshit when I just try to tell her the way she treats me is upsetting. I was also raped by bf I was staying with before my husband and my mom told me it's my fault and I screwed up my own life and isn't go to college because I'm a failure when really I had two scholarships for it I just still couldn't afford it . I've tried pleasing them and trying to earn their praise and love but it's never enough. She goes on and on about how I've hurt her I get her blood pressure up make her smoke she's gonna sell the damn house all this crap and she calls me worthless tell me I have no feelings and I only care about myself. And she tells me I'm jealous of my sister when in all honestly my sister just goes out and parties leaves my mom to raise her son and she doesn't watch him so he has nearly hurt himself or animals on accident am I the problem |
Question: Where do i go and what do i do? 18 and desperate? Posted: 11 Aug 2017 06:58 AM PDT I don't know where to go or what to do. my mom is kicking me out (she doesn't live with me, she and my brother co sign a lease) and I don't know where to go. They change the locks and put my stuff in trash bags so i literally have no choice. the worse part of the scenario is that my car that i just spent all of MY money on got totaled. Having a car is basically the only sure way of me doing anything like going to work. I can't afford the repairs because they cost more than the car itself. I don't know what to do. I don't know where to go. I don't have any family to live with. I have no money anymore and I have never felt so lonely. EDIT: I am an 18 year old small girl. the thought of going to a homeless shelter when i know i have potential to make something of my life just makes this reality more depressing and there is no answer this just made me realized that my life is going nowhere and i should just give up. i would like to thank yahoo answers for being my absolute last resort. even talking to a suicide hotline- there was nothing they could say to help. but it's not their fault i know. there just really is no solution at the end of the day I HAVE INSURANCE. THANK YOU You can't assume someone's life from what they go through. Reading this makes people think my mom is done with my **** and I am an awful person. She lives with her boyfriend who is rich and supports her and she hasn't supported me all through highschool. I am trying. but it's my fault for assuming yahoo answers wasn't flooded with ignorance and angry 12 year old boys who troll. My mom is an awful woman. I am assuming people who don't understand had their hand held or are closed minded. |
Posted: 11 Aug 2017 06:52 AM PDT Hey everyone, I'm a 57 year old Married White man and when I visit South America next month with some buddies I want to have sex with as many beautiful Latina women in their early to mid 20's as possible. Is it worth the risk of trying to do this? If my family somehow finds out my life as I know it will be over. South America is also renowned for 'honey trap' scams, where younger women seduce older men at bars/clubs on behalf of gangs only to rob or kidnap them for ransom. I want to cream plenty of feisty young Latinas before coming back to my boring life in the U.S with my wife and college age daughters, but doing so would carry enormous risks and danger. My friends who are also married and the same age plan on doing the same. Is this worth it? |
Question: My mom called me and my sister "bitches"? Posted: 11 Aug 2017 05:44 AM PDT So this morning me and my sister me (16) her (14) we're up watching tv just doing what we do and my mom comes downstairs it's not early or anything and she is up and about to leave. She started yelling at us asking why we're up and that I left my Christmas lights on in my room so I was like sorry I forgot to turn them off because I did and she tells me that I can start paying the power bill and I don't have a job yet I'm in the process of trying to Find one but not to pay her bills Bc I am her child and I don't HAVE to pay to live with her. I said okay mom in a respectful way and she still keeps talking and my sister is talking to me and we just aren't responding Bc we don't want to argue and as my mom walks up the stairs she says loud and clear "bitches" it was honestly shocking and kind of upsetting and so wrong. Why is my mom acting this way? What can I do To get her to stop...? |
Question: How can I completely disappear from old life? Posted: 11 Aug 2017 05:41 AM PDT My whole life I've been the black sheep in my family I'm treated like dirt. I'm getting tired of it so I'm planning on leaving my parents house with my husband we've recently had two miscarriages so it took a toll on our finances. But we're both saving up and basically my mom continually chooses my sister over her other kids and if I don't kiss my sisters feet that makes me rude and selfish and apparently I have no feelings. But I'm all honesty my sister has bullied me and tortured me my whole life calling me names telling me to get the **** out nobody loves me and my parents don't want me all this crap she hates me for no reason I don't even talk to her or my other sister either, It hurts so bad because I do want s relationship with them but they hate me for no reason so I basically stay away from them as much as issuable because my mom threatens to kick me out if I make my sister mad all because she's afraid of losing her grandchild I feel worthless. My sister runs around with girl who bullied me in school and does drugs whis my age which my sister said she hates people my age like I feel like she replaced me with this chick I just don't feel welcome. Like all the times my sisters son was being naughty or cruel to animals I got upset about it the bad person im so tired am I the problem here because I feel like I just ruin people's lives so I'm moving cutting contact from all their drama any advice on how to best do that ? |
Question: How do I get my Mom to marry my step-Mom? Posted: 11 Aug 2017 04:50 AM PDT |
Posted: 11 Aug 2017 04:35 AM PDT Even now as an adult my grandma still treats her different my moms father was a abusive towards my grandma and treated her wrong and her brothers and sisters are from my strep grandpa does she treat her wrong because of her real abusive father? Could she see him in my mom? My grandma also treats me differently cause im her daughter I've just been so curious about it could anyone explain why? |
Posted: 11 Aug 2017 04:31 AM PDT The cousin was born in 1991 so he is well into adulthood now. The aunt has not always gotten along with her sister, my Mom, but they are civil right now. We live in different parts of the country so don't see each other in person that much. |
Question: My sister doesn't do stuff around the house and tells me she is not a slave? Posted: 11 Aug 2017 04:25 AM PDT I am older than my sister. When I was her age, mom had a lot of chores delegated to me. But now, my sister is 9 and barely does anything. I am the one to clean the house and sometimes I pass some things to my sister (usually washing the sink and the bathtub, since those are pretty much the only things she does well enough). But my mom yells at me, saying that it is not my sister's job to do things I am responsible for, especially since she "cleaned the sink last week too!" (Well yeah, since that is the only thing she can do). She even told my sister not to accept to be my "slave". Like what? And this leads to lots of annoying stuff, like when I am responsible for my sisrer for days at the time when my parents are away and she refuses to make her bed, even when I ask her repeatedly (I asked her for 20 times I think). What can I do, especially since i don't have my parent's support? |
Question: Need URGENT answer on how to help mum? Posted: 11 Aug 2017 04:19 AM PDT She has depression and dad has been a dick tonight. She started crying in her room and when dad went to bed hes like 'whats going on' as if he doesn't know and she replied 'get ******. Dont come in here after talking to me like im a piece of **** and say whats going on'. This is bad, she never swears. What can i do to help her? :( |
Question: How can I make my mother happy? Posted: 11 Aug 2017 04:13 AM PDT She suffers from depression and dads been a dick lately. I can hear her crying in her room. I have unintentionally made things worse by criticizing some things she does this afternoon. What can I do to make her feel better? She deserves better than how even I treat her :( |
Question: Leave dad soon or wait so he could pay for my college then go? Posted: 11 Aug 2017 03:48 AM PDT I'm almost 18 and I want to move in with a friend in another state. I applied for college locally but my dad... I'm so sick being around him. He got his employee pregnant and now they're brokern up. I'm sure because she found out that he was cheating somehow. I was home when he brought a couple of girls over. And I heard them being intimate. I ask him kindly not to be a floozy while I'm home at least. But he just says "no, I'm not talking about this with you, I can do whatever I want, it's my house." These girls are just a little bit older than me, too. Another thing he said "Don't you think I'm with them because they're not classy." He's a sexist and racist, always making me do literally all chores. I don't know if I should put up with him for two more years till I finish college or move out when I'm 18. My dad is overly protective and never lets me go out, not once. Advice please. |

Question: Are you close to you're parents? Mine are divorced and it can be hard now.? Posted: 11 Aug 2017 12:39 AM PDT Both my parents are divorced and have been for 14 years. I guess its time to move on |
Question: Is this being a spoiled brat? Posted: 11 Aug 2017 12:20 AM PDT My mom seems to think so because I wouldn't let her use my charger base......because there was another charger base right next to her and she won't stop yelling at me |
Question: Do you hate Americans, Asians, and people who bully and threaten others for no reason? Posted: 11 Aug 2017 12:10 AM PDT Those Americans and Asians are evil. They are witches and wizards. They are unfriendly and they don't like anybody. They think they are feared by people and they aren't afraid of anybody. But one day they will fear Queenstar Betty Amoah and Emmanuel Amoah and it's my doing after disguising myself as the two of them and fighting those people back. I will smack them in the back of their head and run them over with a bus. Those Americans and Asians aren't quiet they are troublemakers. They like to bully quiet and shy people for no reason. They are jealous of Queenstar and Emmanuel for being more friendly and well behaved than those blacks, Hispanics, Asians, whites, Arabs, and Native Americans. Those American and Asian adults sped cars, buses, and trucks at Queenstar and Emmanuel with an intention of running them over in a ruthless way when the stop sign showed walk. Those Americans are cowards and they can never try that crap with me or my kids cause I won't tolerate that bull. How can you threaten someone's children for no reason when they never wronged you? How would you like it if someone did that to your kids? You whites and Asians claim to be superior, quiet, and respectful but after all this I doubt this to be true. You are rude and disrespectful. If I was the president of a foreign country I would have passed a law to ban any foreignors from entering my country. |
Posted: 11 Aug 2017 12:03 AM PDT Ok so I have a new boyfriend who recently said that he massages his kids when they sleep, and it just sounded a bit strange to me because he said that they are 14,13 and 7.Then I said but you give them all massages and he said yes? Also they are all girls. |

Question: Why does john b loved make love to his sister? Posted: 10 Aug 2017 11:48 PM PDT |
Question: Hate my dad so much? Posted: 10 Aug 2017 11:47 PM PDT i hate him so much honestly i just wish i could have a better father. Ive actually never really liked him. But the past few months, its gotten really bad. One thing he does is threaten me, like saying he'll put me on the ground or smacking me on the face. I know he'd do something like that because hes attacked me before. Hes also very aggressive and passive aggressive towards me, and its really hard not to say anything back. Today he threatened to hit me because be asked me a question(it was a passive aggressive question) and i didnt answer back and i asked HIM a question(it was passive aggressive too because he was really getting on my nerves) and he started saying things like you better answer my question or else ill smack you, and stuff. I hate living with people like this and i want to tell someone, but i know what he does isnt bad enough to get me taken away. And i know he wont change, this is just how he is.Hes like this with everyone; my mom,his other daughter, me. hes just really rude and i hate being with him. what should i do? |
Question: I wanna go back to my dad but my mom wont let me? Posted: 10 Aug 2017 11:29 PM PDT Lets start from the beginning. I slowly developed depression startijg at the tender age of 6. My mom paid more attention to my shithead little brother than me, and one Christmas, i broke. She got a jacket that didnt fit and that cememted the idea that she didnt care. I started to cut, we moved 3 times in 2 years and i lost really good relationships, and that broke me further. She sent me to my dad for the summer and i decided to live with him. I made some bad decisions and had sex. I had to go to the loony bin bc of the scars i had on my arm from when i was with my mom. I visited for the summer out here and shes trying to keep me, saying that she thinks i have too much freedom and she wants the best for me. My dad wants the best for me too though. Ive expressed to her that im not happy here but she doesnt give a ****. She refuses to send me back while school starts in a week and a half. Can she even legally keep me here? Her and dad are still married and im 15 |
Question: Are my parents being reasonable? Posted: 10 Aug 2017 11:00 PM PDT I am 15 and I have a 17 year old brother . We both have the same amount of freedom which Is not much to me. I'm not allowed to go to sleep overs, stay out past 7 (during the summer time), have friends take me places, leave the house w/o them knowing the full details, etc. I realize they want to keep me safe and what not but it drives me insane. i see my friends go out as late as they want and go anywhere and i envy them so much. Please send some advice or just anything. - a teen who just wants her freedom |
Question: Too many people in my house, do you agree? How do I tell my parents I want to move out? Posted: 10 Aug 2017 10:58 PM PDT To give some background, I'm attending college and since it's nearby, I live in my parents house. My parents house is a newly built 2,300sqft 2 story house(4 bed 3 bath) in one of those "T courts". I used to have my own room but for the past 4 months I've been sharing a room(the rooms are not big) with my younger sister who attends highschool. The reason we've been sharing a room is because my mom's two sisters and her dad(my grandpa) are visiting except my moms two sisters are here to stay as it is their first time in America. With 3 siblings, that makes us 9 people in the house. This house feels cramped, especially when we came from a bigger house with less people. It makes me want to get a dorm or a student apartment(I could pay) but i'm not sure what to say to my parents, I don't want them to take it the wrong way. I find it hard to focus on my schoolwork sometimes since the only quiet place I can do it is in the room I share with my sister which I have to say is weird for the both of us (we're not kids anymore). Sorry for all the details I just wanted to get everything off my chest. |

Question: What is wrong with my dad? Posted: 10 Aug 2017 10:07 PM PDT I dont know if it comes with age (55) or he is mentally unstable, but all his life he has been a short fuse. He will get mad over the simplest things like my mom forgetting to buy bread for him he'll start screaming intensely and telling everyone to f*ck off or degrade my mom and me. If i dont wash my face with his soap he will start yelling and breaking things its scary. How can i get my dad to go to a therapist? To get some medication? Because hes a psycho. And im sick of crying all the time. im probably going to have deep psychological problems because of this rough childhood and i know i could have it worse but it really affects my day to day life |

Question: Why do some people only wish good things only to themselves? Posted: 10 Aug 2017 09:25 PM PDT Most people seem to never mind but I've come across people who don't care if they ruin other people lives. They wish harm and bad things to everyone and only good things to themselves. |
Question: How do you deal with a family member who is an emotional vampire? Posted: 10 Aug 2017 09:08 PM PDT My dad is really an emotional vampire. He talks so much! And that would be fine if we we were both having the conversation but it seems like he indirectly talks. Like its obvious that hes talking to me but he really could care less with what id have to say. He gets mad when i ignore him like when i put my headphones in even though he can talk for an hour straight without me saying a word. Its just so repetitive. It seems like he cant pick up on my facial cues like if im annoyed or if im focused on something or maybe he just ignores them :/ If i say anything about it to him he either gets offended or says im "full of ****" like he doesnt believe me. Ive tried being nice and rude about it. Nice just means me sitting there listening to him and making small interjections which he rarely acknowledges. And rude is me either ignoring him or directly saying that hes talking too much. Both just dont work because i just seem to flip flop between the two. Ive tried sitting down and having a very civil conversation with him where i try my best not to offend him in any way and sometimes he seems to understand but he isnt consistent. The understanding only lasts for 2 days at most then hes back to talking my ear off. So how do you deal with an emotional vampire who you have to see everyday and that youd rather not be rude too? Thanks. p.s. sorry its so long its just a really well-rounded issue |

Question: Can someone with White Pages Premium or something look up my dad? Posted: 10 Aug 2017 07:36 PM PDT I don t have a cc and I m trying to get in contact with my dad. I need his address, email, and phone number. The reason I m asking is due to him not sending any money, and I need it right now for school. His name is Winston Bolls and he lives in SAN Fransisco or Daly City. I know it seems messed up that I m only doing this to get money, but I really need it. I m 16 years old and my minimum wage job at subway isn t enough to pay for tutoring and sports. Thank you. |
Question: Is this a valid reason to be upset with someone? Posted: 10 Aug 2017 07:36 PM PDT So on a recent trip (family vacation), my Aunt got mad at me because I asked her not to post any photos of me on FB. I'm a private person, and though I do have a FB, I like to kept many aspects of my life to the time I have with my family. So she yelled at me in front of many family members after I asked her nicely not to post anything involving me, she has refused to talk to me (it has been more than a week since), has not let me have any communication with her children who are ages 9 and 2, and has deleted me off of FB. I find her behavior to be completely petty and childish. Am I in the right to become mad at her behavior, or should I just let it pass over? Btw I am 20 and she's in her mid-forties. |
Question: Is it wrong to naturally have a favorite parent? Posted: 10 Aug 2017 07:29 PM PDT Both are very loving and great parents, and I love them both very much too. Is it wrong though to naturally love one parent more than the other, just because you can connect easier with one of them? I've been trying really hard to change this, as it really shows how much they both care for me, but I just can't seem control it. I have been feeling guilty and like a disgusting person because of this, as I know how unfair this is. |
Question: My sis stole my charger? Revenge? Posted: 10 Aug 2017 07:07 PM PDT I know it can't be lost, because I didn't bring it out of the room, and I remember it being on one spot. And after dinner, my sis went upstairs, then I followed, went to my room, found it gone. I know she's gonna deny it, so I'm just gonna keep looking, but what's a good revenge. |
