They speak another language and some speak good English and most of them dont know any or limited like a few phrases for small talk. The thing is only my uncle will even try to communicate with me and sometimes his adopted son as they both speak English. However aside from them I sit at family get togethers when mu mom flies with me to their country to visit them and I just don't say anything because I've always been very quiey and shy which everyone knows. They all sit talking to each other like I don't exist. No one bothers to translate what's going on or to try to ask me about my life or how I am... In an adult btw. Yesterday I was left alone for 5 mins with my English speaking cousin and he didnt say a wor to me or look ay me whereas a minute ago he was making jokes with the others like he's the life of the party. I actually was homeschooled most of high school and have not had a single friend in years now even though I'm in college. I'm very socially awkward and quiet for a woman. Its extremely rate for me to feel comfortable enough to say something to someone first even if its jusy a random question... So yeah. My mom knows I have nobody yet she acts like I'm stuck up and not interested in her family... Yeah right. She also knows that I was bullied by my father growing up mentally and emotionally mostly and that I was always scared to barely speak a word in front of him even to this day. |

He was so wasted for example, he left the light in the kitchen, the living room, the dining room, reading light on while sitting in a chair reading ( I turned it off then go back to my room after 15 minutes, they are turned on again :(.) I have noticed in 2 consecutive weeks that he used the dishwasher once a day for only a FEW DISHES that he ate. I think this is very wasteful, he could just wait for it to be full loaded or hand-wash them. We have known each other for a year and this is the first year we live together. I really feel uncomfortable about this but don't know how I should approach this situation without hurting our friendship. |

I remember he would stand behind her and press his waist against her butt. He would place his hands on her head so ppl thought he was just being silly but I saw what he was doing. I saw that he would thrust or even pull her back to have her butt rub his penis. I ignored it cuz I didn't want to ruin my friendship with him or her brother. A few days later he told me what he was doing. He said something along the lines of "hey bro you know (our friend)'s sister. I was rubbing my penis on her butt and she didn't even care. It fet Great, you should do it too. Just act like your playing with her. You can even grab her waist and pull her into you or thrust your waist. It's great and feels good."I passed and tried to change the subject. I didn't want to ruin friendships. From then on anytime his sister came by us he would do that and I ignored it. She got to the classroom and we started working. My desk is right next to the door and my friend took just a few steps backwards from my desk and she tripped over the recycling bin and her butt landed right in the trash can behind it, she sunk all the way to bottom. We got a good laugh out of that. Then my friend stood up and it came with her and then she tried to push the trash can off but it would not budge. She asked me for help and tried pulling it off while she was pushing, but this trash can would not move at all. She is still wearing her spandex shorts and her shirt got rolled up as she fell into it. Everytime we try, we can t seem to budge the trash can at all, shes been stuck for a good 20 minutes now. I don't know if he feels the same as he is very closed off and doesn't express himself. I supported him as a friend and went out my way to show him how I felt. As time went on, he started ignoring my phone calls and text messages. Made me feel real unappreciated and unimportant. The last time I texted was July 12th he texted me back saying he wasn't ignoring me just was extremely busy. I was so hurt who ignores someone like that prior to that he didn't text for s few days. It was my cue to leave him alone as I wasn't his priority. I text him back 3 weeks after that saying I needed space because I was dealing with housing issues. I really needed the space because I was tired of him treating me bad and I wanted to reevaluate if this between him and I were worth it. It's been over a month and half and I have been focusing on me and my kids. He hasn't reapperaed back in my life, but I'm not sure if I can give him a relationship especially after how he has treated me. He won't let me get close to him to love him as I feel as I'm at fault for his issues. His last gf did him wrong and I'm paying the piper for it. I've been single 2 years before meeting him. I never forced this man into anything. |

She has had 2 major episodes with 1 including being kicked out because she thought her daughter was going to kill her. She was in the hospital and doing great.. got out and stopped taking her medicine and had another major episode. My friend told me that her family has given up and said it's up to her now. They said they can't keep helping her when she won't help herself, and gave up. The police where called and are now signing paperwork to put her back in the hospital... But the family member who was laying for care, is no longer paying. My friend doesn't know what she is going to do. How can she make sure her mom can stay in the hospital and get the care she needs when they can't afford the bills? We are in our early 20s and don't know anything about dealing with these kinds of situations. Thank you in advance. |

She's always at the nightclub, drinking, throwing herself around random guys, dressing revealingly everywhere, even to formal events, etc. It's just not my cup of tea. I'm the total opposite of her; I don't feel the need to get drunk to have fun and I'm more focused on studying. For a good time, I don't like giant crowds of people, alcohol, and sex with guys I don't even know. This is all she talks about. She's supposedly dating this guy like 10 years older than her who she hardly even knows. She gets drunk even though she's underage. She swears in literally every sentence and when I'm talking to her, I almost feel as though she doesn't know any other words. I don't want to get involved in these events and get myself into the same trouble, but she's taking some risks and I'm worrying it'll end up impacting her very badly. What should I do about this? I don't want it to seem like I'm condemning her but I don't want this to get any worse. I've heard about the kind of stuff that goes on in the bars and clubs and it's just not right. |

I asked him why he doesn't come to my apartment to come see me no more and he says he is busy, but then I I look at his FB timeline and he is tagged in pictures with who I refer to as his "real friends." I call and text him on his phone, but he doesn't respond. The phone rings and goes to voicemail where it says his voicemail is not set up, so I know his phone works. He only communicates with me on Facebook messenger. He texted me he loved me on FB messenger and said he was coming to see me,but didn't come. When I asked what happened to him, he didn't even offer me an explanation he just texted me a big thumbs up. The past two years he has had birthday celebrations and I have called him in the middle of getting ready, but oddly he did not invite me. My mom recently died and he came to the funeral, paid for drinks for my family at the bar and for our bowling (something my family did to take my mind of things). He has a male friend and helper who works with him on various jobs and this person stays in the same apartment complex of me and outside of working, he hangs with him and I believe scoops this person up for jobs but can't come by to see me. |

This is partly strategic but also because I suck at being friends. I'm actually pretty good at making friends, but terrible at keeping them, because I always get into some huge argument-sometimes as trivial as who's right in Death Note and sometimes as serious as whether God exists-and never talk to them again. People say I just shouldn't argue, but that infuriates me, because why can they express their opinion, but I can't-for example, one time, I told my friend that I was doing an essay on Darwin and evolution. He responded by saying evolution is fake and that God created everything. According to other people, I shouldn't have said anything, which is ridiculous. Anyhow, all my friendships ended similarly. At first, I tried to make new friends. However, I realized that with no friends,I have a lot more time to work on my extracurricular activities, which will look good on college applications. Am I doing the right thing by deciding not to have any friends? |

I'm a girl going into 9th grade. Don't tell me to not curse this girl out(lets name her shih). She hits me hard,calls me ugly,and has made me look like a fool. She also slapped me on the face for a stupid reason. She isn't violent,she's a "friend" who plays the stronger friend game with me. I'm not going to let her make me look like a dumb person and I'm going to intimidate her. I have a friend who's supposedly Christian(bih) and she's best friends with Shih and she's pretty much oblivious to how much Shih picks on me. Whenever Shih hit me,bih wouldn't say anything,but when I said something "wrong" to shih,then bih would call me out. I want to be prepared if this girl comes at me again with her stupid bs. IM NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO SEES HER PICKING ON ME. Shih has harassed my bestfriend and my classmates can see her harassing me. | Posted: 25 Aug 2017 11:08 PM PDT .BUT after i gotmy medications i felt better n didnt need it anymore.(adhd bipolar major dep.anxiety)Its been almost2 years since I liketo think iv done way better iv only smoked weed like 3 times comparedto what i usts to do. but we lost insurance so no medication i was pulledover becouse my tailligt was out and they searched mycar and found weed ,grinder and beer.but IKwho left it in there, they didnt care:/ lawyersjust told menot fight.i start my class in a few days. I dontwant to gothrough all this again and see all the people i promised i d change look at me like im just another stupid liar they will never believe. I dont like when people dont trust me:( it just looksbas.they willask why are you on probation.and i tell them for somthing i didnt do. Theywont likethat bcz ik alot of people that use lie and say there not on drugs just to get off quicker ik but i dont do nothing but work clean and cook wtf it makes me so mad! Sorry i got off point. What im mainly trying to ask is what can i tell anyone who askes me about drug uses and when i tell then i dont and they dont belive me .nsay negitive to the judge like im not complying. When in 12 th n hs and throug college i felt like i really came inro myself,had multiple freinds but i got caught in some bad vices and then only hung with people who shared n them.alot of them were shady people..and eventually either moved away,became feinds,died..this plus my addiction to getting high and depression from led me to have a very small circle of people i thought i could relate too,and were my freinds.. we actually made bisuness plans with to change te world. But lately ive been seeing signs of Disrespect Ill call and rarely get answers and if i do i feel like there rushing to get off the phone. Im constsntly targeted n sized up as if people have something to prove.4 a while i didnt rewlly care but its startong to bug me. today there was a concert we had been talking about 4 weeks..one of my closest freinds who i called multiple times over a 2-3 period and text'd" you going tommorrow"Apparently went with others and no one hit me up..i learned from my homie cuz they called HIM too come through I feel like a fool for being cool with em..feel like they might be dragging me back..but at the same time i see potential. BUT freinds dont do that..i honestly want to cut them off but like i said i only talked to them really for years now. Had plans but now i think i want too start over and be a stronger person. |

I think this because for one, I have done loads of research on this subject and she shows me no signs she has one. Two, she has made up over the top lies before, like trying to convince me that she dated an adult celebrity in middle school. And three, she only seems to claim she has one when she doesn t get her way. Like if she gets in a fight with a friend or family member. Finally she doesn t want me to tell anyone she has this illness but will boast about it on Tumblr. What do you guys think? |

Posted: 25 Aug 2017 09:30 PM PDT ok,so remember when i posted about the people who still owes my grandfather the $2,000? well,they keep saying that it was a gift because even though the woman try to make my mom come to her apartment and get the money,my mom said no because she was afriad that the woman would hurt her and her she threatened to hurt my mom 2 years ago. they said it was a gift,never a loan,and i think they lied about my grandfather"gifting" the money to them. i don't know what to do. we're invited to the woman's daughter's son's 3rd birthday party,but i don't want to go,and they got new furniture from the money we lent to them. i am still really angry at them,but the woman told me stores,and i think they are true,but i don't want to go making the same mistakes i did with them 3 years ago. i gave the woman my number,and she wanted my mom's number,but i don't know if my mom should give her number,because she may tell my mom about the $2,000. i don't want to give the daughter my number because i don't know if i may be able to associate with her if i'm either in school or working. i don't want my mom,my grandfather,and my self to succumb to them or using us. what to do? i don't want to be mean,but i haven't sleep good for 2 nights because of this situation. what should we do? |

Posted: 25 Aug 2017 08:26 PM PDT So today was my 23rd birthday and my parents decided to give me a surprise party and they invited a bunch of my friends to this restaurant so they told me to bring my girlfriend so I did and she had never met some of my friends that were there so I was telling her all their names and then the waitress came up and asked "what do you want to drink?" and I accidentally said my name instead of water like I was trying to say since I had just said all of their names. It was kind of funny but also embarrassing at the same time and its been a couple hours now and I still can't stop thinking about it. |

I asked him why he doesn't come to my apartment to come see me no more and he says he is busy, but then I I look at his FB timeline and he is tagged in pictures with who I refer to as his "real friends." I call and text him on his phone, but he doesn't respond. The phone rings and goes to voicemail where it says his voicemail is not set up, so I know his phone works. He only communicates with me on Facebook messenger. He texted me he loved me on FB messenger and said he was coming to see me,but didn't come. When I asked what happened to him, he didn't even offer me an explanation he just texted me a big thumbs up. The past two years he has had birthday celebrations and I have called him in the middle of getting ready, but oddly he did not invite me. My mom recently died and he came to the funeral, paid for drinks for my family at the bar and for our bowling (something my family did to take my mind of things). He has a male friend and helper who works with him on various jobs and this person stays in the same apartment complex of me and outside of working, he hangs with him and I believe scoops this person up for jobs but can't come by to see me. |

My baby daddy has been talking for hours and texting a female that he used to have feelings for before me for the past 3 monrhs. I found out and confronted him about the hours that he's talking to her while at work. He's a head animal trainer at a zoo and she has a govt job which rewuiresher to travel a lot, so she has a lot of talking time. He said that it's innocent and that they joke a lot because they always got each other's jokes. I know they haven't hooked up because she's been on business for the past 6 months and we're in South Carolina. So is there any situation where former lovers could really be friends and talk for hours without it being more? Pls help. |

When I got glasses, he commented saying, "you know who else wears his like that? My grandmother.". Our teacher last year had a swear jar where we had to put a quarter in if we swore, and when my friend swore, he said, "Here's $5, that should last me while".
