Question: I'm starting to resent my in laws. What should I do? Posted: 22 Aug 2017 12:12 PM PDT My in laws are overall wonderful people and I grateful for things they've done. The problem I'm having is they're giving unsolicited advice that is often unrealistic, then seem offended and make comments when I or we don't follow what they say. They interject on things like me selling my old house, buying a new house, where to go on vacation, what clothes I should buy, etc. Another thing that rubs me the wrong way is comments they make about their son and his career. I'm happy for him but I don't like being compared to him, especially when I currently have a good career as a junior actuary. I guess I just overall don't like being told what to do. I've already asked my wife not to bring up anything they say in our decision making process. Still their meddling rubs me the wrong way. What's the best way to handle this? I want prevent this from ruining my relationship with them. |
Question: MY EX EGGED MY CAR AND DOESNT WANT TO BE FRIENDS BECAUSE OF MY YOUTUBE HELP? Posted: 22 Aug 2017 12:00 PM PDT ok so im 23 and my soon to be 32 year old boyfriend of 1 year dumped me while we were out "celebrating" the night before our anniversary ( we were suppose to go to brunch in the morning) so he surprises me by picking me up and taking me to a bar the night before he was even going to make a cake for me and as soon as we got there he started talking sh*t he started saying my lips where chapped so i grabbed my lip gloss and i re glossed my lips and he said it wasnt good enough then he saw i was pissed and started talking about how he's glad i finally got a nice weave and why didnt i get an expensive nice weave before now and my hair lately was looking dry old and ugly then i said "if you loved me at all you wouldnt be say this" and he said thats the problem i cant fall in love with you and im not even close to that and started saying i let myself go and i couldnt have a intellectual conversation with him if i tried because im still in college and he has 3 degrees he even told my parents he didnt want me anymore then a few days later he texts me asking can we be friends for his dogs (they love me) and i had said "yes just friends only" and everything was fine until his mom found my youtube and sent him links to the videos i made about our breakup(he knows about my youtube & but she didnt and she was shocked and now hates me) i vlog about my life me i've talked about him before we use to vlog together actually and i basically told the story of our breakup and how cruel he treated me in the end (before he asked me could we be friends to see the dogs) and i agreed and then he calls me me a few hours later telling me sh*t is OVER he's not going to be friends with someone who tells his business out there ( i didnt mention his name) AND HIS MOM FOUND IT TOO and he told me i'll never see his dogs then the next morning I I FOUND A BUNCH OF DRIED UP EGGS ON MY CAR LIKE HE EGGED MY CAR THEN I MADE AN APOLOGY VIDEO ON MY CHANNEL AND HE HASNT TALKED TO ME SINCE SHOULD I APOLOGIZE TO HIM DIRECTLY OR SHOULD I STAY AWAY SINCE HE EGGED MY CAR(my car has never been egged before and i dont live near teenagers it had to be him) WAS I WRONG? |

Question: Should I respect my boyfriends family member even if she was rude to me? Posted: 22 Aug 2017 11:35 AM PDT She raised him so they live together. My boyfriend and I been together for over 2 yrs & I been nothing but nice to her even when she was rude to me at times. But I feel like just the other day she crossed the line when she called me a b*tch. I don't know if I should let it go cause its her family member or just have nothing to do with her. My boyfriend expects me to forgive her if she apologizes. |
Posted: 22 Aug 2017 11:24 AM PDT my abusive mom and step dad, I think its kind of strange that you kind of press yourself right up against the bear cage, as opposed to doing something ambitious and running as far away from that 'bear cage' as much as possible, don't you think? I find it to be a little weird myself. It's a waste of living, once you have the power and financial stability to get out of there I think you should try to reach for the sky and get out of the pit rather than still linger there, does anyone understand what I'm trying to say? |
Question: My girlfriend doesn't want me to go on small trip to LA!!!? Posted: 22 Aug 2017 11:10 AM PDT My friend asked me to go to LA(first time ever) in a small trip with him in January so I tell my girlfriend about it and her response was "NO". She said that this is supposed to be "OUR" thing and that I shouldn't go with my friend. She was yelling at me about how I was choosing him over her but the thing is that I never made plans to go to LA with her(I have talked with her about traveling places, we have also planned going to Europe in summer). I am not sure how I feel. I feel like she doesn't want me to travel without her. Like she wants me to take her everywhere I go, but I also like to do some things without her because we do almost everything together. Any opinions, what do you think? And what do I do? (After talking about this situation, she got really mad at me and left the house!) |
Question: Should i keep my surname? Posted: 22 Aug 2017 08:55 AM PDT Ok, so i don't know what to do...mostly because i have the last name of the man who abandoned me and i just don't know what to do, should i change it? Should i not? I don't hate my dad, i don't love him either, his past and who he is, is the reason i don't wanna be related to him...If you have dealt with something like this please tell me what you did |
Question: Is my parter cheating? Posted: 22 Aug 2017 08:44 AM PDT I m not sure if I am just paranoid or what, but I have the strangest feeling something is going on with him. I would check his phone but he sleeps with it under his pillow usually and he s a light sleeper. The other night he got out of bed just to check a snap chat. And then yesterday he got a snap chat and then immediately closed his phone when he saw it and layed it face down. When confronted about it, when I asked him to show me who it was, he got really defensive and started getting mad and still didn t show me. He admitted yesterday that he forgot his ex girlfriend was on his snap chat friends and she will occasionally hit him up. I know for sure that s not true because one day he was showing me how he doesn t have many friends on there, and she wasn t one of the o ones on there. What do I Do? Am I crazy? |
Question: Is talking to a married woman a good reason for her husband to press charges? Posted: 22 Aug 2017 08:31 AM PDT I met this one woman from a friend. She is already married. Lately, I have been sending her a lot of messages and I told her she could call me and e-mail me. I even asked for her number and e-mail. My friend told me her husband was really aggravated and said I was being inappropriate. In fact, I heard he actually called the police on me and wanted to press charges on me because I was annoying her. However, she did not tell me to stop contacting her. I sent her probably like 10 messages in a week when she didn't respond. I told her she can text me or e-mail me whenever and I kept asking for her number. She deactivated her Facebook instead of blocking me. Why would she do that instead of just blocking me if she didn't want to talk? Am I going to get in trouble if they press charges against me? Is this harassment? I got a missed phone call from a police number today so I am worried they may be looking for me. If someone presses charges for something like this, will I get arrested? What will happen? Also, her husband told my friend that I seem like a stalker and I don't want to be accused. How can I solve this problem? If the police were really looking for me and if it was that important, wouldn't they leave me a message or leave me a letter in my apartment if they were there? How would I know? How long would it take for the police to track me down and do they take these complaints seriously? I wouldn't know what to do if someone complained to the police on me. |

Question: How did you get over sexual abuse? Posted: 21 Aug 2017 09:49 PM PDT It happened when I was little maybe 15 years ago (I'm 20 now) and yet it still haunts me everyday of my life. I feel like to be touched is weird, and to even enjoy someone's touch is wrong. I have made it to where I will detach myself of feeling anything when it comes to intimacy or closeness, and that gets in the way of relationships for me personally. Being with a guy just makes me uncomfortable. I don't know how to get over this feeling ... |
Question: This girl beat me up..how should I get revenge? Posted: 21 Aug 2017 09:03 PM PDT so I've had problems with this girl since high school. we've never liked each other over petty drama. We're both 19 now and last week we got into this big twitter beef. We were both talking sh*t to each other. So one thing led to the next and she threw some insults at me, so I took a very low blow and basically talked about her disabled son calling him slow and r*tarded. I was mad and it was in the heat of the moment. anyways she took this very seriously, and we ended up meeting to fight. I wanted to fight her for awhile so I was fine with this. so idk if it was her anger over that comment but as soon as we started fighting, she got me on the ground, got on top of me and was completely whooping my a** until other ppl broke it up. I'm so mad and embarrassed b/c it got recorded and she was bragging. I feel I need to get revenge on her somehow. She blacked my eye and busted my lip, and I don't want her thinking she can get away with this. What should I do? |

Question: Locking Doors When Visitors Arrive? Posted: 21 Aug 2017 07:44 PM PDT My uncle, aunt and their 17-18 year old son is staying over for a week. They're arriving from a plane around 1:00 in the morning. I'm only 13, and my parents told me and my younger brother to lock our doors for the night. We usually never do this to family guests. I tried asking my father since the family is from his side, and he refused to. He told me that he'll explain when I'm much older. I can't understand why he can't tell me! I tried asking my mom as well. She as well refused to answer and just said that we have to do it, whether we like or not. Please answer as soon as you can... My father also told me to stay at least 5 inches away from any of them. He doesn't allow me and my sibling to touch any of them because of my dad's terrible experience, except for when we greet each other by shaking hands or hugging. Neither my mom or dad trusts them much. |
Question: What do you think of this? And why does he want to do that? Posted: 21 Aug 2017 06:27 PM PDT So I'm really good friends with this guy, we're very close,. I was telling him how I was looking for tattoo places as I wanna get one, and tune sout he wanted to get one too! We both love pineapples! So without telling him I was going to get a pineapple tattoo, a little one.. and Like I said I hadn't told him. I asked him to send a picture of the tattooo he wanted and it was a pineapple tattoo as well! He asked to go get our tattoo together so we could be matching. Guys I'm just wondering but would that be weird? Why does he want to match? FYI, we wanted to get pine apples because he loves pineapples and for me it symbolizes the greatest summer I've ever had with my family and for the fun friendship I have with him |
Question: Why do my brothers care about who I date and party with? Posted: 21 Aug 2017 06:17 PM PDT I am a guy and my parents are friends with a family that we have known for a long time and they have two sons that act like my real brothers since my real older brother is Autistic. Well anyway the oldest Adam and the youngest James have always been protective of me since my brother with autism can get violent when he throws a temper tantrum. Now I am an in college and I like to party and I study a lot but when I go out on a date they get all overprotective and I have never had sex before marriage and I am not planning to because I don't want a kid outside of marriage. Well three weeks ago I got drunk and when I told Adam about it he got so mad at me and he lectured me for about two weeks about it and now he makes sure I don't do anything stupid and he keeps his eye out on me. Then one time I was talking to James about me dating he said that he thinks I should finish college before wanting to date. Why are they like that with me? |

Question: What should do I about my grandma? Posted: 21 Aug 2017 04:31 PM PDT My grandma is a very trusting person, sometimes too much, and shes recently been inviting over this weird guy in his late 30s for dinner and he hangs out at her house after church on Sundays. I always knew he had problems, but after a quick public records search I've find he's been arrested in the past for felony arson, violation of probation, DUIs, and driving on a suspended license. I also have reason to believe he's been stealing money from her. If I propose this question to her directly she'll think I'm insane, because she still can't believe that not every person's intentions are pure and clear. I'm only 17 She's a widow (my grandpa died 2 years ago) and she lives alone. Since my sister is going to college and I'm going to high school no one will be around that can protect her, except my uncle (her son) who lives in the neighborhood, but he can't be there all the time either. |
Posted: 21 Aug 2017 01:02 PM PDT When I first met him at work he was sober and we hit it off so well everyone thought we were dating I'd constantly take him home and we'd hang out until we both would pass out at his house and then we'd hang out again the next day I guess we we're pretty much best friends and before this happened we went swimming w his little and his mom and that felt so nice and recently we went to the beach and it started out as a good day until I wanted to smoke on the beach and he went it's illegal to smoke on the beach and I kinda snapped at him and said well so is doing meth and at the point he said i was mean and inconsiderate and the whole car ride home he kept on trying to talk to me asking me if was ok if I was sad and i wa just to upset to say anything and about how he thinks I'm the nicest person he's ever met and thats why he likes me and now I barely hear from here, he wont talk to me, wont see me, doesn't even want to see me and I just want to know why I he's doing meth and I just wish I could see him and hang out w him becuse I miss him but he won't even see me not even for a few minutes.. so is the reason why he won't hang out with me anymore is because he knows I know he's doing drugs and doesn't want to be around me? |
