Question: Girlfriend guilt tripping me over not being at family events what should I do? Posted: 04 Aug 2017 12:52 PM PDT The events are always on weekends. I work weekends and feel when I am there her kids and family are usually rude to me anyways and she is unppreciative of the things I do for her and the things I buy her. For example we just got back from a trip to the Caribbean I paid for both of us now she's guilty me for not going to her cousins bday party or her 4 year olds bday party. When we go on dates I pay each time for both of us and now she's dogging me for not taking time off my job to go to her cousins and a little kids bday party. What should I say? Am I being selfish?

Posted: 04 Aug 2017 06:35 AM PDT As a child , my family always blamed me for my issues, insecurities and mess and refused to let me grow up, while telling me to. Is this scape goating or another word? This waa my father's side of the family, namely his over fussy mother and father and his brother. As a result, my thinking mind was totally destroyed and I couldn't grow up as I felt I was being forced to stay small and insecure and in torture. I won't go in to this as it is too long When things were wrong with me, thwy have me hourly lectures on how it was my fault and how disgrace ful I was and to be ashamed of my self, not under standing I was mentally ill and could not help my mistakes. My uncle (who is the p ** taking type) did tease me for my ny issues and kept a constant view of me being a loser because I didn't do any thing, and I FEEL use less and a clown around them The question I want ti know is, what do you call this.... were they scape goating me? Or is there another word?

Question: How to console a 14 year old who lost his mom? Posted: 04 Aug 2017 03:54 AM PDT My very best friend is 14 and i'm 16 (just turned 16). His mom died last night around 11 and I know he's held in his emotions all night. I stayed up on facetime with him the whole night and now it's 6 (almost 7am) and he finally came over. I know he wants to cry, but I don't think he will. I honestly think he just wanted to be held. When he got here my mom and dad hugged him and talked to him for a bit and than we went downstairs. When I started to tell him I was sorry he stopped me and just laid in my arms. He didn't cry, but he was shaking slightly and I just rubbed his back until he fell asleep. He's currently asleep next to me and I just need to know what to do if he cries, or what else can I do to make him feel comfortable.

Posted: 04 Aug 2017 03:42 AM PDT My dad has always been a ladies man even into his 50s, he's had kids with 5 different women including the one he just had with his 28 yr old fiancé, Rita, so I'm thinking he might be the right person to ask this.I have assumptions about other women whether they have a bush or not. How can you tell without seeing? Does sex feel better with a woman who is shaved, trimmed or has a full bush????

Question: Should I give up and let her go? Posted: 03 Aug 2017 10:36 PM PDT So I've had this MASSIVE crush on this woman since I was a kid. She used to baby sit me and once I hit puberty I really started getting attracted to her. She's tease me here and there, i'd put my arm around her waist and she'd tell how she loved me doing that. I'm sure she's even caught me checking her out before. Not to seem objective but she's a Latina so she's got a really big butt and she'll wear yoga pants which used to drive me crazy. But I'm turning 18 in a month and she's almost 40. Not even a year ago I went to the beach with her she wore this one piece that turned me on to the point of not knowing if I could control myself around her. But lately I'm just not really that into her. I went to her apartment last month she wore a tea shirt that was cut to show off her cleavage and these denim shorts that showed off her butt, we took a picture together where I'm kissing her cheek and she's smiling but I'm not really turned on by her anymore. I see her social media and it's her at clubs not really doing anything of course there's a some thirsty comments but she's just not doing it for me like she used to. She's divorced zero kids and she doesn't even take pole dancing classes anymore I used to get turned on whenever she's talk about taking them. Now that I'm coming of age should I even try to sleep with her? She still wears the sexy clothes but it's not what it used to be. I've been working out and I'm not the socially awkward kid I used to be
Question: Why does the girlfriend have to horn her way in every time? Posted: 03 Aug 2017 08:54 PM PDT My husband's 18 year old brother has dated several girls but his latest girlfriend of over a year (17 years old or so) has mommy issues (mother is a drug addict) and lives with her grandparents. While she seems like a nice person, my family cannot stand her and feel that she is very intrusive and I have to agree. I am throwing my husband a birthday party for family only (or so i thought) at a nice restaurant this weekend. Girlfriend does not work and even told us she cannot afford the place (she was not invited to begin with, my in laws and his brother are dragging her along) and we told her she will have to bring her own cash, as we are not paying. Why on earth does she feel like she has to come to EVERY SINGLE family event? She came to my birthday party, she came to my relatives birthday parties, is this even proper etiquette? My family does not like how she shows PDA at our homes in front of them and feel it is inappropriate. The boyfriend works minimum wage at a chicken shack, so he cant afford anything. His parents (my in laws) have given him a free ride
Question: Can I see I lived the 20th century? Posted: 03 Aug 2017 08:35 PM PDT I was born on December 1, 1999. So does that mean I can be a 20th century baby? I spent 31 days in it.

Question: Is this a normal pot smoking experience/behavior? Posted: 03 Aug 2017 06:49 PM PDT i've smoked weed plenty of times before. this has never happened to me. first i thought i had discovered my passion in life which was becoming a famous author. i called two people up and told them about my new goal, including the person i was smoking with. except i said it in a more '' i'm GOING TO BECOME a famous author." like as if it is actually going to come true way. then i changed the subject and told my ex-bf (one of the people whom i had told that i was going to become a famous author) that an imaginary guy was going to rape me. Except i said 'i'm at a bar and this guy is trying to rape me, please help-- *end call** and i wasn't even at a bar. i did this to see if he actually gave a **** about me. ok so is this normal for people to do stuff like this when high or do i have some type of mood disorder here?? thanks to anyone who takes this seriously and answers. also, he never called the cops which proved he wasn't concerned about my safety which proves he doesn't care about me.....

Question: Need help from moms: should I be ashamed that my mom caught me j3rking off? Posted: 03 Aug 2017 05:04 PM PDT I am 13 years old, and not realizing my mom was home, I was masturbating with my bedroom door open. She was at the laundromat, so I thought I had time to myself. But she came in with my laundry while I was masturbatin. I thought she'd be mad at me because she caught me watching a R-rated movie of a girl in the shower, so I thought I was busted for being a perv. But my mom just smiled and said "beat it like it owes you money" and walked out and closed my door. How are moms about their sons masturbating? I'm kind of afraid to look at my mom ever again, even though she was enouragiing me.

Question: Past relationships make it hard to trust others? Posted: 03 Aug 2017 04:25 PM PDT My relationship with my parents is strained and it's making me feel like it's nearly impossible to love other people or trust them because I've had bad experiences with my parents in the past. How can I get over this? It's so frustrating to know I love someone and second guess it because of this.
Question: Is it wrong to date someone on my Uncle s side of the family? Posted: 03 Aug 2017 04:19 PM PDT So my Uncle Tom has a cousin named Mike. Mike has a daughter named Lisa. I was wondering if it s ok for me to date Lisa. I am not blood related to my Uncle Tom. His wife is my blood aunt. Let me know. Maybe I m just over thinking it since this girl and I see each other at family parties rarely.
Posted: 03 Aug 2017 03:58 PM PDT So everyone I know is so happy with this new immigration bill that trump is proposing that requires immigrants to know english and be able to support themselves in order to immigrate. This is going to negatively potentially impact me as my fiancee doesn't speak english. I met her through family and my family introduced me to her and she is in vietnam. We are supposed to be getting married in two years and that is the plan that we were aiming for as I would have enough money by that time. I am the husband and they are supposed to based it off of my income not her. It has been that way for many years and now he wants to ruin it. This could potentially damage and ruin my marriage. I already had a hard time finding a date here and so my family had to help me out. She is my only hope. We are both vietnamese. My cousin tom is so happy about this bill because he doesn't want her here. Why are people so happy that this could potentially ruin my marriage ?
Question: What should I tell my boss about this? Posted: 03 Aug 2017 01:22 AM PDT I work at a shelter. I was already working my regular evening hours, but I also worked an additional 8 hours to cover someone else's shift last night, giving me 16 hours straight. I'm a case manager at this shelter and I have my meetings with clients scheduled for certain days. Since I was pulling a double shift, I had to flex my time on Wednesday, which means that I had to move all of my meetings to Tuesday night. Since my schedule changed at the last minute, most of my clients couldn't meet me if they hadn't already met with me on Monday. Here's where things get complicated. I was in a meeting with one of my clients and one of my co-workers tells me around 10:30pm that she had just accepted a family of 6 and that I needed to wrap of my meeting! This client had an exit date for a couple of weeks out and we had a lot of work to do for her. My coworker keeps trying to get me to wrap up my meeting and she's being very rude and aggressive with this 2 hour intake she just sprung on me and another client had to meet with me after this meeting. I tried explaining this to my coworker and how when new families come in, I offer them food first and that would allow me time to meet with my client or clients and that she and our other coworker didn't leave until 11pm and one of them could START the intake, since I was going to be there all night. I had to already start the meeting I was in late because I got stuck on hotline call and accepted a single woman. Truthfully, my coworker should have talked to me first and we could have seen if they had room for this large family at our other location. Either way, my coworker just wasn't hearing it! She said she's not going to go back and forth with me and that intakes are always a priority over weekly meetings. And right at 11 pm, she left and left me stuck with a long intake and unsatisfied clients. My other coworker there that night stayed and helped get them food and helped with some of the paperwork. I told her that she didn't have to stay late and help, but she said she felt bad for me having to do all that at the last minute. And she had to work another job the next morning! I want to tell my supervisor because I think the coworker who had accepted the large family and put me on the spot was completely inconsiderate of me. It's complicated because we've talked and hung out outside of work and she's cool as a person. For the most part, she's cool as a coworker, too. It's just incidents like these when we get into it. Maybe it's our age difference? She's 41 and I'm 27. She's been in the field longer and she's a know it all, to be honest.
