Alright, I've been wanting to get this off my chest for a very long time. I have a great online (for lack of a word that doesn't make me cringe hard) friend who is cute, cool, intelligent, and friendly, but there's a problem: She lives and studies in a Mexican university where she's not allowed to work because they say it will "interfere with her studies" and kick her out of the dorm, and she's broke because of that. Every time she complains about wanting something but being too poor to afford it, I suddenly feel depressed. You may think this is a minor problem, but OH BOY is it a long list of cool stuff that she complains about being unable to afford. Even worse, she's planning to leave all of her friends, isolate herself from society, and work at a nature preserve for a living right after she finishes her studies. I literally cried a lot and felt suicidal when she talked about it. She then tried to cover it up by saying that she "will never leave her friends" and that "there's nothing more important to her than her friends" — yeah, right. Any advice? I'm a 21 year old girl and I'm 5'1, and I'm really insecure about my height. In addition to being so short I also have a baby face so I'm constantly being mistaken for being a lot younger than I am. Even though I love sports I never make it onto any of my college's sports teams because the team captains assume that I'll be a bad player because of my height, I'm always asked for ID when I go to a bar or club whereas my friends get in straight away, half the time I have to buy my clothes from the kids' section, and people are always making jokes about my height to me. I pretend to find them funny but I don't, I find them offensive and they make me feel even more insecure. Some of my friends have suggested that I should just wear heels in order to look taller but I'm not girly at all so I wouldn't feel comfortable doing that. Do you have any advice on what I could do to feel less insecure about my height?

We are both 20. He was my first boyfriend and I was his 5th girlfriend. We barely dated for 4 months. He told me that he thinks he's falling for me 2 months into the relationship however I didn't feel the same way. I just saw him as a first boyfriend. It wasn't serious for me. I felt really bad for breaking it off but I had to let him go, plus in a way I was leading him on since I didn't love him. I work m-f and my girl works sat and sun so we haven't had a weekend together for a long time and now its august, we'll she had plans to go to the cape with her BFF's scheduled for a long time Fri, Sat, Sun, and her boss okayed it way back when, but the weather was bad so they cancelled their trip refund and all! now I'm glad that maybe we'll have time together being that her trip cancelled, so what does she do! she calls her boss and tells her! and her boss says great now you can work so she is. Awhile back I had accidentally broken our mechanics flashlight and I replaced it on the spot without hesitation. 2 months later the mechanic was using the power washer and didn't release the trigger leaving it pressed down, and he turned the water off before we left work that night. I've known this friend for a little over a year. We weren't always close, but we've been close for a couple months. We see each other ALMOST every Sunday. He came to visit my job today (he used to be the boss there) and my friend hadn't seen him in a while and she had been wanting to say hi when he visited next. she acts like i am bothering her when I call and she tells me she was busy doing this when I called or in the middle of that when I called. This has been going on for over a year when I call. Sometimes I'm out and she will leave a message on the answer machine when I'm not home and I will get the message when I get home and then call her. And when I call her she does this too me. I'm 21 and I just currently feel like many people no longer have the incentive to make new friends as they get older. Many of them just want to be acquaintances rather than friends. We have great first conversations but nobody really cares when it comes to making new connections. They just seem so closed off. I cut ties with my best friend of 11 years cause I had a party at my house, most of the attendees were her coworkers who I didn t know. Fast forward to later in the night when I went to bed cause I had work the next day, I hear a knock at my door & it was my friend s coworker I hadn t met her so I was confused, she began yelling at me asking me why I was hitting on her bf. The next day my friend asked me everything that happened & I told her... later that day she told me that my details weren t adding up & basically was taking her coworker s side cause she sent her a picture of her busted lip that apparently "I gave her". I never touched the girl.. like I said, I didn t know what was going on until she left my room. My other friend who walked her out saw her bf choking her so.. I m sure that s where that came from. Anyway, I cut ties with her because you d think after knowing me for 11 years she would know I m not a fighter and have never been. She reached out to me a month later apologizing.. I scoffed and ignored it.

So I'm 19 years old, and I'll be returning back to school in exactly 2 weeks. I wasn't the smartest with spending for most of the summer, so now I've buckled down. I only have 3 more babysitting dates, and that's it. That $150-$170 that I'll make within those 3 days is all I'll have for back to school shopping, which will be just enough. I've made it known at least twice that I go back to school soon (I go back earlier than my friends), and that now I have to start saving. They still keep making plans that costs money, and don't get the hint when I either don't answer, or find excuses not to go. It sucks to have to say each time "I can't afford it". It makes me look like I'm ruining the fun, or like I'm poor (which I am, but still it sucks). My dad died not too long ago, and my mom has 2 jobs. She's comfortable financially, but I don't like asking my mom for money all the time when I'm going to be 20 in 3 months. She will give me money to go back to school with, and Help me with large fees and that's more than enough. We're also moving next week, so that's going to hurt us financially for a few months. So my male close friend keeps going through my phone whenever I m not around. (I know this because I have a habit of closing all apps on my phone). He goes through my pictures, messages or all of my messaging apps such as whats app and facebook messenger. I have told this man before that I have had romantic feelings before for him but he just started doing this most recently (a month now). I always give it back later in form of i found it or drop it at the lost and founds. But it just feels sooo good to take it. Yesterday i took my best friends lunch. I invited her for a pizza later and paid for it to make up the damage when she complained about her lunch missing, but it was the best thing i ever ate, just becuase of the tought. I had to get a circumcision last week, and my mom was able to get me an early appointment. When I got there, I realized that the doctor was my mom's friend. I was a little embarrassed at first, but got over it since I assumed she's a medical professional Last night, I get home late and find that my mom has invited some of her friends over, including the urologist who did my circumcision. I was kind of eavesdropping when I heard my urologist telling the group that my penis looked like "an overgrown banana". They were all laughing hysterically. Later, I confronted my mom about it, and she seemed very alarmed. She said that she'd get her friend to apologize but that I shouldn't tell anyone because she might lose her license. I'm very upset and pis.sed about this. Should I talk to the hospital manager and get her fired?

So I have my best friend with me and like we both have the same group of friends, and him being a true friend tells me that the group of people are back stabbing me and using me as a punching bag for entertainment, they egg me on for many things without me knowing. So this summer I joined a swim class filled with boys and girls, not to brag but Im used to guys having crushes on me so when this guy came up to me and asked for my number it was nothing new so I gave it to him anyways after that he was blowing up my phone calling me and texting me asking for my social media I didnt give it to him because obviously this guy was a god damn lunatic. If you have **** to say say it to my face" Yeahhhh I honestly only said this to sound intimidating. I just finished my first year in college and I've made a bunch of girl friends in my classes but barely any of them are guys. I'm not hating on the friends I have because they're all really sweat and nice but i don't know why guys don't befriend me. I talk to them too in class it's just that I have to be the one to initiate a conversation and after awhile it gets kind of annoying! I'm usually upbeat, open to new things, and rarely shut down a conversation with anyone. I wouldn't say that I'm ugly or unattractive because I think I look pretty and other people say I'm beautiful and yada yada but I really hope my appearance isn't playing a part in this. They sometimes seem to never want to hang out because they usually "can't" I'm a good friend and I love my friends a lot, but I'm getting the idea that they don't want me around. They seem to never have time for me, but whenever they do hve time they usually spend it with other people. I don't invite them anymore since they can't hangout, because everytimen I invite they can't. Once they even said they don't like going out. One of them is a introvert with me and extrovert with other people. They don't invite me as much as they did in the past.

I've known this guy from last year, we used to have a lot of classes together but now, we dont. He's so annoying. He once asked for an eraser and i gave it to him. I have a 9 year old and we started talking again because of the kids we saw each other at the kids school. I mentioned I had my daughter in cheer and tumbling this summer and season for cheer ends when football ends so she decided to put her in too. Her stepdaughter is kind if shy but I see that she enjoys it. But I'm left with the responsibility of taking her to practice and buying the stuff she needs for cheer (example:pink socks,shirt and pom poms for breast cancer awareness) I feel like if she's going to marry this guy then she needs to take some responsibility too. I didn't beg her to put the little girl in cheer she wanted to cause my daughter is a very good friend to her. This little girl doesn't have her mother. How can I tell my friend she needs to step up and be there for her or am I wrong? I just feel like I have two kids in cheer instead of one....

I am having to move with my mom and little sister from Colorado to North Carolina in a few weeks. I have not been happy about being forced to move and am very worried about being accepted and making friends at my new school since we will be getting to North Carolina just a few days before school starts. I am 16 years old and a rising Junior. I have spent my whole life in the same place in Colorado and I have known most of my friends since elementary school. I am really concerned about being accepted by my new classmates and making new friends as I am better at maintaining long term friendships than making new friends. My grandparents have talked my mom into letting me move back to Colorado with them the finish out high school if things are not working out by Christmas. the one condition is that I have to try really hard to make new friends and make things work in North Carolina between now and then. I cannot shut myself in a room and spend all my time texting with my friends in Colorado. I am hoping some of you can give me some tips on how I can be accepted and quickly make some new friends at my new school and in my new town. The last four years, I have played football, basketball, and lacrosse on my school teams. We are not going to be getting to North Carolina until after football try-outs, so I will need to find something else to get involved in. Does anyone have any suggestions? Any tips on how I can fit in and make friends would be helpful.

My friend is the guitar player for my band he's the youngest member. When he doesn't get his way he gets mad and cries he's 24 years old he acts like he's 4. Our church group is going to a movie Saturday and having a pizza party but he's upset he has to miss it we were going to a concert tonight we told him he couldn't go to the movie he started crying. This is the first time they had a pizza party with the movie and he can't go. They usually only go see a movie in the summer. But I'll ask if we can go again some other time or we'll take him he said it's not fair. We're going on another trip Wedsnday he can go on that. Him and our drummer are best friends our drummer just got married my friend wasn't acting like himself the other night he was all whiny and having fits I don't know what was going on with him. I think since he's the youngest member he thinks he can probably get away with acting like this. Why does he act this way ? How can I help him ?

My best friend s (we ll call her A) boyfriend was "exploring" and he found a video of A on omegle with my other friend (call her K) and in the video you can see A s boobs really clearly and then she sorta shows her *** off a little. No, I don t know why they did this on omegle. Yes, I know she has a boyfriend. Anyways, the person she was on omegle with uploaded the video to Pornhub. We are literally 14 years old. The video has gotten over 120,000 views. This is literally sick. I ve contacted the email that I m supposed to contact if a video is uploaded of someone without their permission but it says it ll take 48 hours to respond. All I wanna know, is should I tell A that her body is out there? Right now, only me and her boyfriend know about it but I m scared someone from our town will find it and blackmail her. Should I tell K because she s in the video but she doesn t do anything innapropriate? I m worried A will freak out and go to extremes. Please help.

it's so depressing mann. i been doing good for 2 weeks than she come to my house and tell me that people say "i can't fight" ''i got beat up" "i'm ugly" "i am scared to fight" and everything i don't even think i can be happy again man she suppose to be my darn friend telling me this but she watch them talk about me and jump me and beat me up and never do nothing until the fight is over. she even talk to the girls who bully me i don't have nobodyyyy i am all alone i'm so hated i do nothing to feel this hurt i don't even want to walk out the house or go to school nomore and my mom keep being nice to her not knowing she always put me down i hate her sooo much. btw i'm 15 in 10 grade i can't do this anymore mannn.

Well I'm not sure if I can call him a friend but only for the past while that is. So I met him about maybe a year ago. We've been cool for maybe a whole year but now he's just been pissing me off and irritating the mess out of me. We didn't talk for a month maybe for I don't know what reason but... He's best friends with one of my friends and we all hang out a lot. After a month of not talking he's been very annoying and doing irritating things like mocking me and copying whatever I say, always trying to start arguments with me, and calling me names like stupid, dumb, etc. Like it gets to the point where I either wanna fight him or just not hang out anymore because it's degrading and annoying. I have no idea what his problem is or if he's just playing which he doesn't sound like he is. I haven't said or done anything bad to him because I don't even pay attention to him a lot but I'm getting sick of it. Please help...

I went to visit her in Connecticut. We went into town and I had a backpack that we put our stuff in. It was heavy for me because I had been carrying it all day (8-9 hours) I asked her to carry it because my back hurt (I have a scoliosis). She took it and said, "it's not heavy, my backpack's way heavier than this." I said that I had been carrying it all day and my back hurt. The rest of the day she would nitpick whatever I did. I have been trying to eat less dairy because it doesn't agree with me, and it's healthier for my body type. I asked if she knew of any restaurants with vegan options. She goes "so you're one of those now?" I told her that I'm not eating dairy because it always hurts my stomach. She insisted on going to this one restaurant that didn't have non-dairy options. I had them take the cheese off, and she said I was being "extra." I don't know what to do because she always judges me. Like I'm trying to eat healthier and she treats it like the apocalypse.
