- Question: Is this too soon?
- Question: I told my brother that he is no longer one of my groomsmen for my wedding. Was that too much?

| Posted: 03 Aug 2017 03:01 PM PDT My wedding is in the first week of august of 2019. I wanna send out my bridesmaid proposal gifts to my bridal party. It'll be two years until the wedding. Is that too much in advance? I was gonna send out my save the dates in January of 2019 and actual invites in march or may of 2019! Side question: can you ship mini bottles of wine either with USPS or UPS? |
| Posted: 03 Aug 2017 06:34 AM PDT The other night my parents and I had a big talk with my little brother. It got heated and we told him something that needed to be said. He has this girlfriend of almost 2 years. Since they met he has completely isolated himself from friends and family. He has become cold, distant and unwelcoming. The thing that tipped it over board was this thing with the wedding. My brothers gf is having an exam on Saturday the 26th, same day as the wedding. So Friday she desperately needs a good nights sleep. She can not stay at her parents place because her father is having his 50th birthday party. I mean it would be inhuman for her to stay there, right? We have some 35 guests that are coming from abroad and a wedding with 150. I was hoping that my brother could help with all that but apparently he has to go to the 50th birthday party. We had planned to put my fiancée and her bridesmaids in his apartment but princess needs a good nights sleep. Since he was so bothered with it we rented another apartment. When my father heard about this he genuinely cried. His gf made a comment last we saw that every time I end a visit afterwards they have to go shopping for clothes. I asked him to name the things I have taken from him. He said: "You have taken my underwear, a t-shirt and every time you come you take several socks". I told him to best stop talking and go home. I also said he was no longer me groomsman for the wedding. Afterwards it seemed harsh but I was so disappointed. Did I overreact? |
