We started hanging out and eventually slept together. He kept telling me was gonna leave her, blah blah blah. A year later we moved out of state to be with each other. But i cant help but feel, i had to take him to another state to be with me? The first 6 months were constant fighting and trust issues. And he hit me, he punched me in the face one night when he was drinking, i had bruises and scratches on my arms where he would pinch me. But we just kept trying to make it work. Things started going well, He hasnt hit me in..2 years? But its still a fear i have. He has horrible anger problems, and he always threatens his life when we fight. He cries and plays victim. Hes controlling. I have to basically ask him if what im wearing is ok. I recently tried telling him im sick of him drinking because theres usually a fight. But he denies it. Anyways, ive been growing more and more sick and tired, i packed my things last time and took what i needed. He smashed his phone, threw my clothes off the balcony and said whatever i didnt take hes destroying. Now why does me leaving mean that my things need to destroyed? Ive never broke anything of his. I slapped him once 4 months into our relationship because he was talking to another girl. I know its not right, and i know i wont do it again. But thats what i just...am confused about. She was walking to her car as I was walking almost towards her, but I was still a little far away from her. She could've just left and pretended she didn't see me. Instead, she started staring at me even when I wasn't looking at her, and when I looked back she didn't stop looking. She just stood at her car, turned staring at me and didn't open the door. We held eye contact for a while as I walked right by her. I was the one to break eye contact and look away as I passed her, and once I passed her she got in her car almost immediately. Before she found out I liked her, she could never hold eye contact with me (no one else just me) and she most certainly never initiated it. I've seen her look at me a lot when she thinks I can't see her and she'll look away immediately if I look over. Every time she looks over at me she has the same neutral look on her face. The look she gives me then were the same look she gave me this time. |

She found out that I liked her from me and would be willing to go on a date with her (in a note which was stupid but I never had a legitimate chance to talk to her about it). Since then, she hasn't ignored or avoided me, pretty much the opposite. She hasn't gone up to me to talk to me about it, but at the same time she's always been shy with me. The one time she ever tried talking to me she froze up completely, but ever since we first met, whenever I go to talk to her she immediately smiles and gives me complete attention. And I've often seen her take glances and long looks at me before when she thinks I can't see her, and if I look over at her she'll look away and pretend it wasn't happening. She's made it more obvious she's looking over in my direction and has tried getting my attention once since I gave her the note. One time she was leaving, about to get to the exit as I was walking in her direction. She looked over at me and just stood at the exit with her hand on the door knob staring at me. I looked back and we held eye contact up until I walked by her, when I broke eye contact. She left right after. She's never been able to hold eye contact with me before, ever, nonetheless initiate it. If I caught her looking at me before, she'd always immediately look away. Posted: 05 Aug 2017 06:59 PM PDT A summary of everything that happened: He brought up marriage only a month after we started going together. That freaked me out and made me emotional. I'm not normally an emotional person. I became super wishy washy about the subject. (It didn't help he kept bringing it up.) It was around that time he started hiding the full truth from me and lied about small things (like who was calling him on the phone, what he told his friends in casual conversation, stories he would share, etc. Things that didn't necessary matter.) Then he went to a strip club (for the first time, at least he says.) He said it was because he needed to clear his mind (apparently because of me getting worked up about the whole marriage thing.) At first he didn't tell me the entire truth about that either. He told me he walked in and then walked back out. He later confessed that he stayed and got a lap dance. I finally got sick of everything and broke up with him. Fast forward a year. He said he's changed. However, I catch him gossip about other people often (including my other ex who I don't have contact with. He befriended him and tells me a bunch of crap about my other ex's love life that I don't need to know.) Not sure how much he's really changed. He severely apologized to me for how the realtionship went and said there was no excuse for how he treated me. He tells me he still loves me and he wants me back. He wants a chance to treat me right. Should I take him back? |

And I'm really attracted to herShe lives in another state and we would only be able to see each other 2-3 times a year. She use to seem very attracted to me she would always be with me for the 5-6 days we were able to see each other. We would FaceTime me 2 times a day when we weren't able to see each other but about 3 weeks ago she started to slow down the calls to about every other day so around 3-4 times a week. Then On the days she doesn't FaceTime me I would ask her if she would want to and she usually responds within 5 mins that she can't tonight. But then it started to slow down even more to 1 FaceTime per week. And now she doesn't FaceTime me at all and I try to start conversations through text occasionally and she would reply immediately but not sound interested in talking. I also ask if she wants to FaceTime everyday because she won't FaceTime me at all but I just realized I feel like I sound clingy or sorta desperate. So for the past 2 days I've been trying to not talk to her and I haven't asked if she wanted to FaceTime and I'm going to wait to see if she'll eventually come back to me. Is this a good strategy? |

But when we saw each other for the second time he was really opinionated and I ended up leaving. We talked about it and it was fine. I asked him his intentions he said he have no real ones he wants to get to know me and whatever happens will happen. Now when we text he's short and have little to say. I asked him before if we should stop talking because I'm busy with school and work..he didn't want to. Should I just not text him to a few days and not respond back? |
| Question: How to detach from someone you developed feelings for.? Posted: 05 Aug 2017 05:29 PM PDT I developed feelings for someone that has been a close friend for a while. She has a bf and loves him a lot and if I tell her about my own feelings she will reject me and will distance herself to avoid hurting me. So I m trying to figure out how to walk away without hurting her or making things bad. We even had plans to move in together since we both need to get away from our families. I also got her a position at my job. We see each other virtually every day except for certain weekends when her bf visits and then to be honest she kind of ignores me after that. We have never done anything and she isn t leading me on or playing me its pretty much all me. How do I detach/distance myself? |

| Question: Should i be upset with my boyfriend and should i confront him? Posted: 05 Aug 2017 05:20 PM PDT So my boyfriend has this friend he says his best friend and it s a girl I asked him was there something between them but he said no that s just his best friend another friend had told me that they slept together I asked him and he said no she s not like that but now a couple more people confirmed it with me that he did so he s been lying we went out one time and that lady gave me a hug and everything and said hey how are you doing and I told him again did you sleep with that lady he told me now and he said you want me to ask her and I said no but now finding out this information I don t know what to do should I confront him or should I just leave it alone |
| Posted: 05 Aug 2017 05:14 PM PDT I've pushed people out of my life because I just felt as if their lives would be better off without me in it. Then I just ended up regretting it in the long run. Even people that were really interested in me I always seemed to push them away because I've been so alone and unhappy all of my life. So when someone actually does show me attention or want to spend time with me I just always end up ruining it because I'm so afraid and insecure. |

| Posted: 05 Aug 2017 05:08 PM PDT I like this girl so much and recently I bought concert tickets for her and I to go see her favorite artist and she told me "That's the sweetest thing anyone's done for me, is there anything I can do to repay you?". As of right now we're friends but one thing I wanted to request is for her to give me a chance. Is that a good idea? Can I just ask, "You asked me what I wanted and I think I have an idea, and its a chance to be with you". Is that good? Haha, I need help. |
