I do my hair and makeup. Normal. I had one best friend named Alyssa. We know everything about each other. Alyssa started becoming friends with this popular girl named Baylee. I've never been rude to Baylee, we were fine at first. Then Whenever me and alyssa would get into arguments Baylee would get herself involved and come at me. I would never say anything back. A few times now, alyssa has been at Baylee's house and has been rude to me saying we can't be friends anymore and that we've just grown apart. Then when she gets back home she says Baylee was just saying that alyssa had no reason to be friends with me because I'm not popular. So we were friends again. Then alyssa and Baylee got in a fight over me and Baylee called alyssa a wanna be nobody because she hangs out with me. It made me mad but alyssa said she wants to give Baylee another chance. I told alyssa that that is not okay for Baylee to say that about me or her and that I don't want to be around Baylee. Alyssa said she wants to be friends, but we should take a break. I am 21, and he must be around 40, and I catch him staring at me sideways a lot of times (while he's very occupied ignoring me, at the same time). He never greets me, or talks to me, but he's always glancing in that way, and sometimes our gazes encounter each other, but I don't greet him as he doesn't greet me. I just look away after three seconds of staring at him as he stares at me. One day, I went to the street after working, and I saw him waiting at the bus stop, and when I passed by (pretending not to have seen him, pretending to be "very concentrated in my mobile phone") I noticed that he turned around to the other direction. Here she has access to a pool and internet and a cooler house, but not at her house. Her housemate wants her to require pay. She will be here 6 days then my babysitter will have to make the 30 mile drive here to get her to take her 10 miles to her house and then drive the 40 miles back to their house. She will then come back Sunday until we get back then we will take her home. She has a ride to our house, but not a ride back (she doesn t own a vehicle). She will be providing her own groceries for her and her kids. Any suggestions on how to pay her. Thanks. P.S. She also asked my 4 year old if he wanted to stay here part time with her. How much extra, if that happens? Thanks! |

But she is also not a very good listener like I don't think she listens to me when I talk which is frustrating a little bit. Anyways sometimes I feel like I'm one of 50 of her best friends. She is just very extroverted and so she always gets close to people really fast. But sometimes she will just make a new best friend out of nowhere and it makes you feel like you are replaced. He used to be my boss and we became friends towards the end of him working with me. He has always been very flirty with me. There could be a room full of people and I would be the only one he'd say hello to and ask how I'm doing. Back when we worked together, if we got off work early and some of us decided to eat after work, he'd come and sit next to me. He's never had a problem with being in my personal space or me being in his personal space. The last few days of working together, he showed favoritism towards me. Also, he would make intense eye contact with me, once to the point where I asked "what?" and he broke eye contact. After he left, he started inviting me and another friend (male) to his church. Lately, we've been carpooling to and from church, all 3 of us. (his wife and kids usually take a different car) He uses any excuse to flirt with me or talk to me. We went out to lunch this past Sunday with his family (our friend was there, too). Me, him and our friend shared a booth while his wife and kids were in the opposite booth. When his wife got up to get more food, I was talking to our friend and my crush kept inserting himself into the conversation. After we left, his wife and kids took our friend home while he took me home (alone) because he had to get to work and I live closer to his job than our friend does. We talked for 20 minutes straight, with no awkward pausing. I found it a little weird that he didn't make a move. Now, I'm NOT saying I wanted him to make a move, but I am a little surprised he didn't give any hint of something more than friendship. Does he just have major self-control or have I just been reading him wrong this whole time? Frankly, I'm surprised his wife was okay with him driving me home, alone. I'm glad she trusts us to be alone together. She told me to never speak to her again, so my first reaction I softly held her for a few seconds to try to explain my side of the situation. eventually she left and even sent me a message telling me that I ruined our friendship by putting my hands on her and I could tell she was really mad . I tried apologizing by text but she blocked me instead, I was really immature and I sent her two letters with some flowers eventually a police officer came to my house and told me that I need to leave her alone or else I can get in serious trouble. My counsulor said that I should stop playing my air buddies in the restroom so sometimes I branch out and play them in the hall way at lunch. | Posted: 01 Aug 2017 12:09 PM PDT My "best friend" who I have known since 10th grade (now we are both 20) is making me drive her around town, she won't get a car, won't get her license, won't get a job, makes me buy her food everyday, and she smells so bad, she lives with her grandparents who never take baths, they owns 26 cats (inside) and they don't clean up after them, she blows my phone up and gets mad if I don't answer, yet if I msg her she never answers, then she has a "boyfriend" who lives in new york, we live in georgia, I don't really believe her, she always wants me to tell her everything but she tells me she don't believe me or trust me enough to tell me stuff. It hurts my feelings a lot the way she treats me. And she never even gives me gas money. I have to drive her everywhere, get groceries, movies, whatever she wants whenever she wants otherwise she us pissed at me and screams and fussed. She claims to be starting college on the 22nd and says I will have to drive her back and forth, but I have school myself and my hours will not be the same because I am further in than her. She has waited 2 years to start school. Would I be wrong if I start telling her I can't do everything her way? Or if I start ignoring her? I have two sons with someone else and he has a son that the whole time we were in TX he didn't have any contact with. About two years ago he decided he wanted to move back to Chicago to be closer to his son and start a relationship with him. We had a very up and down relationship and he often cheated. I even busted the windows out of his car one time. We ended up moving in together and he was great with my boys but I told him I didn't know if I wanted to move to chicago. He went anyway without men and told me once he got set up and bought a house I should come. We kept in touch through phone and texting for about the 1st 6 months he as was gone BUT he was never really answered when I called. He was slow, would take hours or even a day, to call or text me back claiming that he was busy with work. I grew tired of it and I knew that I wasn't going to to move Chicago again even after he told me he got a house. So, I deleted him from FB and stop answering and returning his calls. It's two years later and even though I deleted him I didn't block him. He can still see my post and will lately, like the last month or so has been coming to my page and liking my pics. My mom ran into him about a month ago and she said all he did was ask about me and told her that he really misses me and that he's still single. We had an unstable relationship. She then texts later that night apologizing and offering to give me the $ for the kids. I just said it was fine and left it alone. EX2: Whenever we go out to eat, she always tries to order exactly what I do, even if I order extra drinks and dessert she does the same and ALWAYS asks what I'm going to tip. This has happened over 8 times, I've answered more than once "just double the tax" yet she ALWAYS asks. EX3: She gets free products as a beauty editor yet insists on selling them at a discount to her closest friends and fam. shouldn't this be given away for free and she not try to make a profit off of loved ones? EX4: She sells nail polishes and as a friend I try to support. I went to her and purchased three ( she gave me a discount at $5/each). I asked if she had her card reader and she said no (she always has it and it's part of her business). I then give her a $20 and ask for for change. She claimed she didn't have any. Now due to the previous examples, I wasn't letting her keep my change. So we then agreed for her to drop off the $5 the next day at 2pm. She never called and didn't show up, so I called. Update 4: She then got back to me 4 hrs later, claiming her 5 year old "fell asleep" for a nap and that she would stop by later. She did drop off the $5...although it seemed like if I didn't call about it, she wouldn't have bothered to give me change. I don't get it? |

Nowadays, I find it a bit annoying when she texts me. I think some of the reasons that I feel like that is because the friendship hasn't changed since? Same sarcastic comments and jokes (from both of us to be honest), she keeps her life to her self (when asked whats new or things like that, she's the kind of person to always say "nothing"), she often has those moods swings and she keeps talking about Pokemon Go. So my friend has this really cool fox tail and I've always wanted one so she told me where she got it and it was at some sort of yearly festival. So this year when she went she got me a fox tail so she texted me a picture of which one I wanted and I chose one. I told her thank you and all that and everything because I was really hoping to use it for a costume this year. In past years, the tails have ALWAYS been $15 so I thought that was a fair price since they take 6 hours to make. My friend never told me how much they costed so I assumed they were the same price because she would've told me if it changed. After she bought it, I texted her the next day asking how much it was and suddenly the price is $30!!! If I knew that beforehand I would've NEVER bought a TAIL for that much money! We recently had a garage sale too and that's half the money I just made! She said if I don't pay her back like I said then she said she's keeping it. I agreed to pay back $15 not $30! I'll still buy the tail because I'll feel guilty if I don't, but my mom is really mad at me and said that's insane for a stupid tail. So my question is... Who is at fault here? And I'm 99% sure she is mad at me, don't you think that's a dumb reason to be mad? Over a FOX TAIL? And one more thing... We've been friends for 8 years now and we've never really gotten mad at each other unless it was for 5 minutes over something dumb. The only time we've ever gotten mad at each other over something SENSIBLE is when I almost broke my neck on her trampoline by almost falling off and I told her I was going to because the netting wasn't attached right. EX2: Whenever we go out to eat, she always tries to order exactly what I do, even if I order extra drinks and dessert she does the same and ALWAYS asks what I'm going to tip. This has happened over 8 times, I've answered more than once "just double the tax" yet she ALWAYS asks. EX3: She gets free products as a beauty editor yet insists on selling them at a discount to her closest friends and fam. shouldn't this be given away for free and she not try to make a profit off of loved ones? EX4: She sells nail polishes and as a friend I try to support. I went to her and purchased three ( she gave me a discount at $5/each). I asked if she had her card reader and she said no (she always has it and it's part of her business). I then give her a $20 and ask for change. She claimed she didn't have any. Now due to the previous examples, I wasn't letting her keep my change. So we then agreed for her to drop off the $5 the next day at 2pm. She never called and didn't show up, so I called. She then got back to me 4 hours later, claiming her 5 year old "fell asleep" for a nap and that she would stop by later. She did drop off the $5...although it seemed like if I didn't call about it, she wouldn't have bothered to give me change. What's up with my friend? Is she cheap? Why? I can't believe someone can be that cheap and calculated when it comes to money or making sure things are always "even" like when we go out for drinks/dinner. especially when dealing with friends. |

I don't frequent the living or kitchen (where she spends most of her time). I know that I am new to her so I try to be around her as much as I can in the presents of her handlers. However, she keeps growing at me. I learned don't look dogs directly in the eye, no sudden movements, don't face them directly, things like that. The other day, even in the presence of one of her handlers, I asked him "Is she always like this with new people?" My roommate said that she either doesn't like me or just not used to me. Any tips? (I don't want to move now given I just renewed the lease) |

Especially now over the summer they have had bbq:s, gatherings, parties, guys night, something almost every weekend. My parents go there often and they have their own room and they play with the kids. I just feel like I am not in that position. When my parents or my brother comes to visit me and my wife they usually stay an hour or two and then go home. I wanted to know what was going on, why I am not a part of it all like he is, why he is not inviting me to his guys nights and things like that. He said: "First off I need you to know that you are my brother and I will always be there for you when you need me. Thick or thin. But the matter at hand is why you don't have friends and why our parents don't like to hang out with you as much as me. I will be brutally honest. The fact is that you and your wife are cold, distant,uninviting and kind of boring. Whenever people go there, be it our friends or our family, they feel unwelcome. I don't invite you any longer because I get the sense you don't want to be there. Me and guys joke around, complain about our wives and you look like you can't wait to go home. There you have it". At the moment it was harsh. I know that I will never be the life off the party but my own parents dread coming to me by the looks of it. I don't know what to do? |

He was like a brother to me- we lived together in my parents house throughout high school, since he had nowhere else to go, and after we graduated, we moved into an apartment together. That was only a few months ago. We went through a lot together, we were honestly practically inseparable, and he's dead now. We used to do this thing where, when we were sad, we would make each other mixtapes, which was super dorky, but it was our thing. That, and travelling. Since then, I have been afraid of making new friends and have isolated myself. I am now 28 and I have zero friends. I have heard about some pen pal website and have thought about trying it since I would love to form friendships outside of my very conservative all white town. This one guy who was kinda chubby I bullied in and out of school. Well he hit a huge growth spurt, he's 6'5 in 7th grade and a star basketball player now. He continually bullies me, he pushes me into lockers, steals stuff and holds it over my head. He even took my back pack and put it on the rim of the basketball goal. When I had the gym coach get it down he lied and said I did it and his friends backed up his story. He continually makes my life a living hell. He threw away my homework destroyed my backpack. At one point at a party he flirted with my crush when I was trying to flirt with her and then kissed her in front of me and carried her away while they laughed at me. I know I was mean to him but I never thought he could hurt me or my social life this bad. What makes it worse is that he is a teen model for s clothing line and all the girls at my school love him now. He doesn't bully anyone else except me. It turns out he's being mean to me because I also bullied a close female friend of his into anorexia |
