So I have been with 2 Indonesian girls and 1 dating.. And every damn time they lie, lie and mostly lie. Okay so I am a good guy but I'm a good guy with a lot of "nice guy" qualities that I really want to change. These are also qualities that are a huge source of low self esteem for me and I really want them to stop. Okay so I have a lifestyle that I live and I'm not ashamed of it at all and I'm proud of it. I'm Neo-Victorian (good guy quality) However I constantly feel the need to change or conform to make people happy (nice guy quality) or to be accepted. I will also take what people say about me to heart and take it as stone truth. For example this one girl said I was scary looking and instead of asking why or calling her out I just made a pathetic self deprecating joke and then went home and brooded on this dumb broad's (who doesn't even know me) comment. Another example is I'm going to the Suicide Girl's Blackheart Burlesque in November and am so excited. Well instead of being happy and stoked I automatically start thinking of myself as pathetic and lame for going to this when it's not lame it's a geeky and awesome. I'm not really a pushover like I won't go out of my way to please people and I'm not afraid to tell a person no. Like there was this one loser on my campus who is just a total moocher. I refused to give him my number so we could hang and I gave him an excuse and I wouldn't give him my facebook I gave him an excuse for that too. I'm not afraid to tell a person no or to even tell them to F off. I've done that a few times. I also stand up for what I believe in like this summer I went to go see the Dead Sea Scrolls and this one chick tried to ruin the exhibit. Idk what to do. Long story short my ex boyfriend broke up with me 2 months ago apparently bc the distance was getting too hard since we're pretty young and both busy. It was really unexpected and he made it seem like he was trying to do what was best for both of us, but obviously it wasn't best for me if I feel like a piece of me is missing without him (cheesy but I don't know how else to describe it). I've liked this guy for a while, he'd been in a relationship up until recently and his friends and mine have told me that he liked me last year(idk when last year as on school year) but it's a year and a lot can change. He seems to be subtly flirting(from what I can tell) and he can get a bit protective at times. I just don't know if that means he likes me or if he's just a protective friend. I recently became really close with a guy friend of mine from work and I started to like him. We used to have classes every morning we always used to look straight to each other eyes before I enter the classroom During class she will not look over to see, she pays attention in class. She and a friend sat in front of me in the lobby and they both ran fast.She at times will give me half/shy smile when we both make eye contact.
