Question: How should I ask my cousin for her phone number? Posted: 18 Sep 2015 03:14 PM PDT OK, I need some advice. I have cousins that used to live in Pennsylvania but now they live in San Francisco, which is 20 minutes from me, we follow each other on Instagram. But now I kinda want to ask for her phone number, how do I ask her for her phone number? |
Question: Am I being silly to get mad at this? Posted: 18 Sep 2015 02:34 PM PDT So here's the thing: I'm 23 and pretty much been single for most of my life. My last relationship lasted 2 years and was horrible: He cheated on me, took 4 thousand dollars, etc. and everyone else that seemed to come into my life after him weren't any better. So my trust issues are through the roof. I haven't been looking to date anyone, and was really happy being alone. But this guy I've been friends with on FB for a while, met up with me to go fishing last month. We've been talking since, and he does things nobody else has done before. His actions have gone beyond showing interest. I pretty much met his entire family last Sunday, and he posts pics of me to his FB (when I think I look horrible) and told me he'd never do anything to break my trust. I noticed he changed his relationship status on FB, but didn't tell me anything? However, before we started talking he kept trying to hang out with one of my friend's friend. I haven't looked at the page in a while, but figured I would last night. Thinking he'd stop liking her pictures and everything, he's still doing it. A part of me died when I saw that, because my ex did it to everyone and wasn't faithful. But the big difference is, my ex also didn't tag me in anything or put pics of us up, especially not ones of just me! So I don't know if I'm just being silly about this. I'm not sure how he knows her, and I'm afraid to say something because I don't want him to think I'm crazy. I was never one to like guys' pictures. |

Question: I wish i was born as a boy...? Posted: 18 Sep 2015 02:18 PM PDT I am 15, and i wish i was born as a boy. Still i would not operate or change sex because it would not be the same anyway when i have already been a girl and so on. I dont like the nature of being a girl. I think it's so unfair. Maybe it is the society that makes me feel that way? I dont feel good about being a girl at all. I feel powerless. There is so many cons of being a girl i could go on forever but that just makes me feel ever more angry. I dont know what to do, i wished i was born as i boy... but there is nothing to do now. Why do i feel this way? It absolutely not that Im afraid of being attacked or something. I just love hanging out with boys as friends and I dont like being a women soo.. BUT, you are you and your sex should not define that. |

Question: Am I wrong for being annoyed? Posted: 18 Sep 2015 11:22 AM PDT So this may sound petty, but ... Birthdays and celebrations, in general, have suddenly become a big deal at my job for the past couple of years. The organizers expect everyone to pitch in for the cost of throwing these celebrations/gifts, but refuse to ask for input and or even ask employees if they can/want to be involved. A lot of the staff lives paycheck to paycheck, and just doesn't have extra monies to pitch in, especially for someone they rarely even see or interact with. I don't pitch in for that very reason. And honestly, I'd prefer to save my hard earned income for my kids, when I do have extra income. The new guy at work and myself share birthdays, plus a couple of days. This year, we both had babies, too. I didn't let it bother me when the organizers went all out and purchased a $180 gift for him, and not even a congratulations to me when my son was born. But now that it's September and both of our birthdays, the organizers have approached me asking my opinion for HIS birthday party. Personally, I would rather take my vacation days next week so I won't even be here, but that's not going to happen. I don't know why I'm letting it bother me so much. As I said, this may sound petty, but it's very irritating. I work hard for my income, which goes immediately to bills and diapers. My family and I live paycheck-to-paycheck. As for the guy's "wowzy" gift, at the time it didn't bother me. But now that it's both of our birthdays, it's troublesome, especially when they preach that we're all friends and have to stick together. I had some problems after my son was born, but no one cared to check. They only noticed something was wrong when they didn't receive their paychecks on time (I did some work on my ML) |
Question: Money issue with my fiance? Posted: 18 Sep 2015 11:09 AM PDT Im a nursing student. My Fiancé works so that I can finish school. I had a job but he said it was okay for me to quit. it was getting in the way of school & his income would be okay for the both of us. We live together, & I can t buy food.I dont buy anything frivolous, but last week he bought a 100$ flashlight for his bow. I found several receipts where hes buying things he doesnt need. He is the only one with access to the account, & he constantly keeps saying "my money". At one point, it was "our money". I went to lunch & I wouldn t buy a meal. I got a fruit cup. He texted me, asked where I was, came &went off on me for spending "his money". I m assuming he got a notification on his phone I used the card. I had it because I had an eye appointment that day &I didnt know if they would charge. The appointment was free, but I was so embarassed. I mentioned to him that it s hypocritical for him to buy frivolous things & then be angry at me for buying a fruit cup when he told me I could quit my job because he could provide for us. He replied with, "it s my money, I can spend it how I want, you didn t work for it." I completley understood that he worked for it &in that sense he earned it. But why would he tell me it s okay to quit my job if he in fact did not want to provide for me? What happens when I finish school & I make triple what he makes? Will he still say "his money"? Or then will it finally be "our money"? |
Question: Go to film school or not? Posted: 18 Sep 2015 09:30 AM PDT im 25, ive made a few shorts that people thought were amazing, Ive always had a knack for this since I was about 13 making youtube videos.. heres the thing, my 9-5 is spent wishing I was working on films, and traveling and working hard at what Im good at. Should I go to film school?? or should I cash out on an expensive camera and start making a resume by doing music videos and things like that? film school seems like a waste to me, ANYONE can go but not everyone is talented, why should I go if Im confident enough I can be a film maker? helen- It's about taking a risk for me, I dont care. I can overcome those odds, my question was not for you to blast me with facts, was simply for an opinion if I should go to film school or just start making money by doing other FILM PROJECTS |
Posted: 18 Sep 2015 09:23 AM PDT I feel like I have no closure from that relationship because he rejected my son and me. Well once my son was born he said he and his new wife are interested in co-parenting. This is my and his first child; although he was previously married. He has never helped me in any way for our daughter. He's knows he emotionally hurt me and doesn't want to allow me the freedom to move on and have my son adopted by my fiance. He never asked anything about him just fyi. I however, feel insecure about the woman he is with. I don't trust her moral compass as I would never come between someone's family. I think he brainwashed her with the same promises he made me about having a family. However, he seems (on fb) to be really happy with her. Her family is well off and she looks just like his ex wife who he is still friends with. He is not friends with me because he believed we should have had the abortion because he wasn't financially stable and neither was I. So my question is based on his character what do you think will become of us in the future? I hate him for the hurt he caused but I know I have to put my feelings aside for the sake of my custody case. I want to know what is likely to happen with us...as a broken family. Will he forget us once he has children with her. Will they break up? Will he ever offer me an apology? |
Question: Existential crisis: Does love exists for everyone? Posted: 18 Sep 2015 09:06 AM PDT I am starting to get a little older I still have never dated nor really had much of a social life to be honest. I am not sure if I should just give up and hire a call girl or keep trying in vain to date. Something has to change. Yes you could potentially get an STD from a call girl herpes for example is pretty common and I would not break up with someone for having it a lot don't even know and for people with no symptoms its not medically recommended to get tested for it. Its easy to idealize relationships "happily ever after" society is so shallow for example I think first sign of trouble most people end it or get divorced. Do you think that romantic love exist for people outside of the movies? Is it something that everyone can obtain? You don't love a call girl so it is different but at the same time I don't want to live my whole life especially when I am young and healthy without a sex life at all. |

Question: I can't afford to pay this ticket and signs posted were not sufficient. What should I do? Posted: 18 Sep 2015 07:54 AM PDT I went on vacation to the beach with my boyfriend and his family. On our second day we had a cooler of glass bottles on the beach. This was his family's first trip to the beach, ever, and I don't really drink, so I guess we were all so excited that none of us thought that glass on the beach would be illegal. I decided to try one of the apple beers we had and ended up hating it so I only had a few sips, then I just set it in the sand and forgot about it while I ate. A few minutes later a guy pulled up on a golf cart and asked to see mine and one of my boyfriend's brother's (I'll call him Sam) IDs. My boyfriend, his dad, and his two brothers were all drinking, but the guy only wanted to see my ID and Sam's (we're both 22). Sam had his ID, but I had left mine at the hotel. He wrote both of us tickets for glass beer bottles on the beach and made my boyfriend and his other brother take the cooler back to the car. He asked us where we walked in at and told us there were signs that say no glass on the beach, and we told him we never saw them. We went to look, and there were two signs with 8 rules on it, and no glass was toward the bottom. One sign was facing the parking lot as you're leaving the beach, and the other was in a bushy area and covered with branches. I have pictures of these and the court date is next month, 4 hours away. Should I email someone? The ticket is $300. I work and go to school full time, and I pay rent, so I really can't afford to pay it. What should I do? |
Posted: 18 Sep 2015 07:52 AM PDT I'm a woman and my boss is female too. She is married with a kid.At first she asked whether I was seeing someone and my reply was "yes,"but he is not here at the moment. I had only worked for her (my boss) for three days, but she asked me whether I liked boys or girls and I got surprised. She was like, "Do you like boys or girls?" Can someone interpret for me what she exactly meant and why she had to ask me that question? |
Question: Is it normal for a boyfriend to get rid of annoying people for you? Posted: 18 Sep 2015 07:26 AM PDT Ok so there was this one guy who is one of those "playa" types that was bothering me for years. we used to be "good friends" before it became sexual, and i saw it as a relationship but he had a girlfriend and a baby without telling me. Naturally, i was mortified and heartbroken when his girlfriend broke the news to me. It was a NASTY situation. Being a strong woman, i moved on with my life and found the most amazing man, however, this childish guy who i was involved with before kept texting me and saying that he wanted *ahem* favors or just to talk and i kept telling him to buzz off but he's a moron. My current boyfriend of 1 year whom i love a lot is very protective because we've been through a lot of unimaginable terrible things together. i was sleeping over and his place and he caught wind of the fact that this asshole was still texting me, and he texted him or called him or something and "got rid of him for me". i kissed him when he told me lol, but do you guys think that its normal for him to defend me like that? or does it seem weird? |

Question: Need help with long distance relationship seems to be turning? Posted: 18 Sep 2015 02:32 AM PDT Currently my girlfriend and I have been in a on going long distance for almost 3 years we do love each other very much but I believe she's being really possessive over me and over thinking things and etc. I mean maybe I'm wrong for thinking she over thinking or trying to be possessive but ill give you some examples: When I play games ( video games, card board games) with friends or even family, she'll get flat out mad that I'm not spending any of my free time with her and recently she's been " in the mood" what im trying to say is she thinks about us having sex and etc which isn't a bad thing, however now its becoming kind of a everyday thing where she'll tell me that she's in the mood any time of the day and I just can't be like that its not me. Then the during night I'm not sure if she does this to try to make me stay up, but she'll talk about how upset she is, ask questions like why i love her ( but I know most girls do that), that i deserve better and what not and i try to explain you know why i love her, but that only really satisfies her for like 2-3 weeks then we get into the same argument. Now the problem is lately I just haven't been in the mood i don't like having to "be in the mood" every time she is and it shouldn't be like that and now she thinks that she's becoming too perverted and just want to eliminate sex and anything about it in our relationship. I need some long distance relationship advice |

Question: Sometimes I feel like the weekend girlfriend.....? Posted: 18 Sep 2015 01:04 AM PDT My boyfriend and I have been dating since January and exclusive since may. We have a great time together. We each have a child from another relationship that we've met and they are involved in our relationship especially his son(6yrs old). My daughter(11yrs old) is usually with her dad when I see them on weekends. But we have done things together with all 4 of us and it's great. I love that I get to spend time with his son but it's also the only time the two of get to see each other due to work during week. And so it seems sometimes I only see my bf one day a week(Fri night to sat morning) as he takes his son to his fathers house the rest of weekend and I have yet to meet that Part of his family. Last weekend wasn't like this as we spent 3 days together took kids to baseball game and it was wonderful and he planned it all. But I feel like a weekend gf and I have tried bringing it up but it's always work stuff in the way. I love him.and I feel his affection too but I wish somethings would move a bit quicker like meeting his family or more time together. He does have a work deadline Oct 1st....hopefully things will be better after that. |

Question: I need answers now please form a nurse or a doctor? Posted: 17 Sep 2015 11:13 PM PDT PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU ANSWER. my sister lives in Texas so I don t have much contact with her other tan talking over the phone.(I live in Hawaii) she is almost 6 months pregnant and the last time I did face time with her she was woringly skinny in my opinion. She says she is constantly feeling sick, making her want to throw up. Also, she can t manage to eat a single full meal a day( this according to what she tells me) because it ll make her want to throw up. She doesn t tell me anything about what the do it tells her but I can tell when a person looks healthy and my sister certainly doesn t look healthy at all. Her skin tone used to be vivid, pink cheeks and healthy looking. The last time I saw her on face time she looked pale very skinny and barely bissible dark circles under her eyes. And if that wasn t enough she has a gene that doesn t let her produce as much blood as a normal person does but thankfully her gene is phase 1 and can t grow to a higher phase. I just feel very worried for my sister and my nephew |

Question: Opinions if I am in the position to ask for a raise at work? Posted: 17 Sep 2015 07:54 PM PDT I have been working at my job teaching as a swim coach for the past year. Recently my boss started to leave out of town and has assigned me as and 2 fellow swim coaches who one has worked for half a year and another the same amount as i do, to be in charge of the club. Last time he left he gave me the clip board (where the hours of the employees and the check list for the names of the swimmer) so i took that as giving me the higher authority (manager) of the club. Therefore i got a raise to 20$ I talk to all the parents who have questions about the club or if they want to enroll their child i give them all the information. I make sure that if everyone is not able to come to work that they have someone to cover for them. I make sure that every section of the lane has the enough amount of teacher in ratio to the kidsThis is the second time he left and i recently figured out that my fellow 2 workers got a raise as well 18. I am happy for them that they got a raise however, they do not endure the commotion that i do. Its hectic. I do this while i am teaching my own lane as well. I was wondering if my fellow 2 work mates get 18$ ( doing there everyday job even when the boss is there )and not deal with the stress of making sure the swim club runs smoothly shouldn't my work be worth more than 20$? Please tell me I have a point. thank you! |

Question: Help! My soccer coach hates me!!? Posted: 17 Sep 2015 06:28 PM PDT So I'm a high school junior and I made the varsity soccer team this year. I started the year super optimistic about the season, but im starting to have second guesses. My coach sucks. She totally plays favorites and it really messes with me mentally. Our captain told us what time practice ends each day, so yesterday practice was supposed to end at 4:00 pm. When it came to 4:00 pm, the coach let all her varsity favorites go, so they could have a special team dinner together. Then me and 2 other girls were left behind. She told us to run 2 laps on the track and then we could go. We finished our laps and we let her know that wr were going to go, but she was like "You guys want to go? We are starting practice matches and you guys are already slacking off??" So she was like "Do you really want to go?" We said yes because our parents were waiting for us, but she didnt let us leave. She made us stay on the field for 2 more hours until 5:30 doing drills and running. Im so mad because not only did I have a math test the next day, but almost the entire team had already left. In fact her favorite students dont even go to team practice. Im so annoyed because i practice my butt off every day. I go to every practice. Im held against my will and forced to stay extra time. And yet coach refuses to put me in. She keeps moving me down to play for JV and its only practice matches. She doesnt have enough faith in me to even let me play a practice match. Sincerely, Angry soccer girl |

Question: How to forgive a bully? Please read? Posted: 17 Sep 2015 05:26 PM PDT Im having trouble moving on from being bullied. please read and help me out with this. No rude answers When i was in 7th grade (a while ago i know) there was this girl "Kendra" who out of no where started being really rude to me. She would call me names almost every day and harrass me. I just kind of ignored it until one day she beat me up in the hallway and no one was helping me. Everyone just sort of watched and it was really humiliating. As she was doing that, she was telling me that i was a failed abortion and literally no one cares about me. Later on that day, she got literally the whole school to hate me/against me and she started tons of awful rumors that went on for months. I was so threatened and scared to go to school during those months and i felt hopeless. She made everyone hate me and she continued to humiliate and harrass me everyday. It was my first time being bullied to so i didnt know what to do. She said some really awful things. She made my whole year bad too. -We are sophmores in hs now and i realise it was years ago but i guess it left alot of emotional scars. I found out She had family problems that year and i understand but for some reason im still having trouble forgiving her. Yes We kind of made up the next year but she never truly apologized. So can someone help? I dont want to hold a grudge anymore, and id like to move forward but how? Why exactly am i having trouble? |

Question: Que ventajas tiene "ser invisible"? Saludos.- |

Question: How do I stand up to a bully? Posted: 17 Sep 2015 03:58 PM PDT I'm in 10th grade and there is a douchebag in my 3rd hour class that won't leave me alone. He calls me "gay boy" for no reason at all. I'm not gay either. Every time he sees me he says something along the lines of "what are you looking at gay boy? I don't ******* like you" and he's all the time trying to humiliate me. The first couple of times it was no big deal but it's really beginning to piss me off. How do I stand up to him? Telling on him isn't an option. I have tried telling him to shut up and tried ignoring him. But he won't leave me the hell alone. I've thought about knocking him the **** out but he is quite a bit bigger than me and I'm afraid that sucker punching him in the side of the head won't do the job. What do I do? |
Question: Should I be upset that my boyfriend spends excessive amounts of time with his mom? Posted: 17 Sep 2015 03:47 PM PDT We've been together for over a year and both attend the same college, share an apartment, etc. I'm about 2 months pregnant and we're about to tell our parents sometime soon. His mom lives in town not far from us and we visit them frequently, up until recent we used to get dinner with her almost 3 or 4 nights a week which I thought was a bit excessive, and we would just hang out over at her house for hours Over the past week he's probably been over there at least 7-8 times. A couple days ago he got out of class at 5 and didn't come home until after 7. He had laundry and some of his mail that gets sent to her house and said they ate dinner and he watched TV for a while. Took no consideration for how I felt sitting home alone. Just last Friday he left practice, went there and showered and got ready for work and came by and said hi to me and left, went to work, then back over there. He also went out of town with them without me, he had asked if I wanted to come, I said "yes I'll be out of class in a few" and he said "nevermind we left". It's kinda dumb for me to be upset but it's kinda heartbreaking to me and I know it's because my hormones are off the charts and I'm emotional. I know he's not going anywhere else but there because I'll be driving to work or campus and his mom's house is on the way and 9/10 times his car is there. How do I bring it up that it upsets me? Or should I even be upset about it? |
