We met through an online dating site over a year ago and have been official almost a year. He is my third long term relationship and I am his first. I enjoy being with him minus the awkwardness I We would both describe ourselves as awkward and shy. I just always get so nervous before I hang out with him, I worry about what I'll have to talk about and stuff. Today he came to visit me at work because he was nearby, and it was really really awkward. I tried to be inviting but he was really nervous and I'm not used to visitors at my work. when we hang out we usually hang out at his house because his family is really nice and I can spend the night there. My family is strange and antisocial kind of and my stepmom doesn't want him spending the night and we don't really like eachother so I never invite him over, plus I feel I am a really awkward and bad hostess because I never have people over. Idk, Ive been thinking about it all day but does the awkwardness between us after one whole year mean we're not right for eachother? I think he just has a low self esteem in some ways and doesn't want to mess anything up between us so gets nervous. I really do love him and hate that my social anxiety gets in the way of having a comfortable fulfilling relationship. |

The relationship was great in the beginning and she seemed more into me from the start. As time went on little things would add up. She had issues with her last boyfriend and once thought I was cheating, which wasn't ever the case. She would clam up when I wanted to understand why she was upset. She would also get upset often and had a "short fuse." Eventually things got worse and she got insecure. She felt that I was aloof and we broke up for a few months. Then after some time we got back together for a couple of weeks. We had this one amazing day and made plans to go to the movies that night. I left her place and in 20 minutes she was angry at me about some little thing and I couldn't take it and I just got out of her car and left. I regretted that moment ever since and I've been begging trying to get her back. Now she wants nothing to do with me where all I've been trying to do is apologize for "erupting" I know its a lot but any insight in how to get in touch to at least clear the air would be of great help. |

We dated 10 months in total and despite a lack of closure when things ended, I still remember our time together fondly. I had moved on from this "flame" when he randomly got back in touch with me half a year later. He was extremely sincere/honest/apologetic when he approached me - so I agreed to meet him to hear what he wanted to talk about so badly. I really see it as a big deal since I was (and still am) at a place where I can "take him or leave him" and keep my sanity either way. Well, I was definitely surprised when I met with him. Not only does it appear that he may have changed some of his life priorities, but somehow there seems to be something even stronger between us than before. Of course I had feelings for/was attracted to him before, but I don't recall a time I ever felt THAT vulnerable (and also fearful/exhilarated) in his presence. What does it mean if feelings are stronger the second time around? Obviously this is still something I am proceeding with MAJOR caution, but, is this generally bad/concerning or good/promising? |

Then he asked over and over if I was serious about it and I kept saying Idk cause I wasn t thinking straight. I got a ride home and the next day I texted him and said hey then he said supp and then I said I was serious and I wanted to be in a relationship and he didn t answer. About 4 days after that I texted him hey and he said hey abd we ve been talking like normal but now he only sends about 1-2 messages a day. Are we together? |

He told me it was all a joke but joke or not, it was too far and it s not funny. | Question: Problem at my workplace, how should I handle it? Posted: 25 Sep 2015 07:03 PM PDT I recently started a job a month ago as a greeter at a hospital on the east coast. I meet/talk to hundreds of people everyday, many of whom are coworkers. I am paid to be friendly to people, patients, visitors and even employees. Some men as a consequence of my friendliness I think are now interested in going out with me. And one of them is not being shy about it at all. He's quite forward about it. Then there's a third man who has not asked me out and I don't think he will (he's 30 years older than me) but he's flirtacious with me. Recently he told me he looked up my name on the internet to find out the meaning of my name, and researched my hometown, and other things he knew about me. He's harmless but it made me uncomfortable. I love my job-getting paid to hang out and talk to lots of people every day is a great experience but I'm starting to not like going to work. I don't know why but when men show interest in me it makes me uncomfortable unless I really like them. I don't know how to be friendly yet make sure men don't read into it...what should I do? Two of these men I think may think I like them...I have been talkative and friendly. When one of them said he wanted to go out with me, I didn't really say yes or no. I don't know how to decline politely a date invitation with coworkers. I've never worked for such a large company so I've never experienced this. |

I always get the feeling that she has a crush on me, I mean, she always says hi to me, no matter what, where, when and why, we could have a rough day together, like arguing and stuff, then another day we'll be enjoying it, but no matter what, she sees me after school, no matter where, she always say "HI JAMES!!!" With a beautiful smile, and she always seems to be happy with me, she once asked for a high five, and we did. I mean I sometimes think she just wants to be friends, I mean we look like great friends, and I mean, she has such a nice attitude towards me no matter where we are, she is always nice, happy, cheerful, playful, and comfortable around me!!! Then.... I hear 3 weeks\month later, that along time ago in class (which I'm not in) they were talking about me, and yes her! They were GOSSIPING to some of my friends I know that came from a different school, cuz they know I come from st George, so they asked if they know James and there probly like yeah, yeah, then specifically HER, my friend tells me that she says "I'm a loner, and annoying" HUHHHH?? do you see? She's incrediblely nice towards me but she incredibly rude behind me, I mean she's just fake, I can say that, and it wasn't just her, it was 5 other people as well, they also talked about how I think I'm a better football player than this guy that's a champion, HELP? |

They had been best friends since they were 10 and have been dating since highschool until 2 weeks ago when she walked in on him getting head from another girl. They broke up and now that asshole is dating the girl he cheated with. Ever since she has become really reserved and crying all the time. Shes always just in her sweats and hasnt been cming to classes much anymore. More recently, shes been wearing long sleeves to classes because shes started cutting herself. I tried to tell her that she shouldnt do that but she woudnt listen. And she has picked up smoking pot again which she quit in highschool. But for the past two days she hasnt come out of her apartment and wont answer the door when i go over. Im getting really worried that she might do something. What do i do? Please help! |

He comes home from work and he straight goes to the game, on his days off all day he is playing. He doesnt take me out anymore unless i suggest it and or sometimes i end up going to some stores by my self. I feel like im loosing my love for him because of what i see. I talk to him about him getting a better job and going to school and everything gets ignored , he lacks motivation and im getting tired of it. Im going to school since i moved in and ive been looking for a job like crazyyy. Now im not sure if i feel like this because im not in my own home and i need to keep busy or if he just isnt the one for me anymore because i am frustrated of him playing his games and he wont do anything. If someone could help me it would be great because i dont know what to do at this point. Ive tried talking to him about it and it gets him mad sooo thats why I don't know what to do. |
