Posted: 27 Sep 2015 12:52 PM PDT I moved to college and now I miss this guy back home who I used to really like but since then has just become a friend. It's like he is my best friend who I can tell everything too, won't judge, understands me, and is always willing to help.. I just miss him so bad I cry myself to sleep sometimes. What do I do? Also, he has a girlfriend, so I don't feel comfortable telling him I miss him and he is quite a bit older then I am. Can you please help me? I hate feeling so horrible all the time.. it brings me down so badly I don't feel like doing anything at that moment. |

Question: What does this mean, considering he knows I like him? Posted: 27 Sep 2015 11:11 AM PDT I told him I liked him more than a friend - so he knows I like him - He didn't really give me an answer. Just acknowledged what I told him. But he will come up to me and such. At some point after this happened, he went out of his way to ask if I would like this packet of honey that he had. It was like something they give you for free when you order tea at starbucks. I thought like, you would maybe throw that out. but he just came by to give it to me and then we chatted. He told me to "not be a stranger". Why is he doing this, and saying don't be a stranger? I am confused. what does that mean? when we first met he was shy and nervous around me, but he got over that. |
Question: How does this girl sound to you? Posted: 27 Sep 2015 10:50 AM PDT This is my third quarter here and I have got to say, I am liking my experience so far! Meeting great people and awesome professors, all while gaining knowledge for life, what can be better? As you probably can see I am a pretty positive person, I love to look at the bright side of things, and stay motivated and encouraged not looking at the hardships on the way. I am the youngest child in a family of five, which I honestly love! For my future career plans I am hoping to get a degree in business management, which will take two years in the least. This quarter I am taking 4 classes and am in college full time. By the way it was my first time in John Stout hall this week, and having to find it wasn't so simple, since on my way there I had to ask people for help. But I am glad I get to be in another building, since most of my classes are in Scarpelli hall. I am guessing most of you guys spend your days there too.One of my hobbies, and I can say talents, is singing. I've been singing since I was five years old. And someday hope to record my own songs in a studio, even though I don't really write any myself, my sister is a great writer and poet and sometimes writes songs for me to sing at relatives' weddings or other events. In five years I hope that I will be done with my degree and settle with my career plans, having my dream job and living in a great place. I also hope to marry the man of my dreams and start a family. Most importantly, I hope to see myself as an individual grow and become wiser, more knowledgable and also kinder. I want to strive to be the best that I can be |
Question: For those who saved themselves for marriage, was it worth it? Posted: 27 Sep 2015 10:46 AM PDT I don't want to have sex until marriage but is it actually worth it? Do u ever wish that u had sex before? Was the pressure not to have sex hard in college and even high school? |

Question: Is it ok to "steal" money from your husband? Posted: 27 Sep 2015 10:09 AM PDT It's a long story but I will try to make it as short as possible.. My husband makes a lot of money and Im a housewife. I married him at 20 and he was 35 at the time..he didn't make that much at that time. We ve been together 8 yrs, no kids, been trying but no luck. During this time of marriage, I've never had any access to the finances, at one point he opened a CC for me with a $100 allowance a month. I would never have any cash with me and if I asked him he would have millions excuses why he can't give me any cash.. I avoided going out with friends because I was always short. During our marriage, this man has done whatever the heck he wanted; late nights, girls, drinking, weed, online dating profiles, Craigslist, porn, you name it! He never admitted that he cheated on me physically but I know there's more to it. I left him but he always manages to get me back..my family eventually gave up on me.. So one day he was in rush and forgot to close his safe.. My jaw dropped when I saw all that money.. I could've taken all of it, but I only took small sum that was nothing compared to what was there. I didn't think he would notice I used that money to buy whatever food I desired and I left some just in case something happens, I can pay at least my rent. He made me feel so bad, humiliated me and called me the worst possible things..I feel so bad that I want to give back what I took even thou I feel like I shouldnt.. And the rest I spent im willing to pay back in payments.. ? |
Question: My girlfriend is going to be my step sister? Posted: 27 Sep 2015 09:03 AM PDT My mom started dating this guy in November of 2014. He would come to visit often with his daughter. We became very good friends and eventually started dating. We kept it under wraps for a while until we got sick of living in secrecy. We came out to our friends and then to our parents. Our friends felt it was kind of strange but they were cool with it. Our parents, however felt that our relationship is disgusting, incestuous and wrong. Im not biologically related to my girlfriend. We didn t grow up together, it s not incest. Most people can t comprehend that, especially our parents. They constantly refer to us as brother and sister and they ve only been together 10 months. They re no even engaged. They don t allow us to sit next to eachother and they don t let us stay in the same room alone. They constantly try to break us up and I just cant deal with it anymore. I love my girlfriend. I love her as my girlfriend and not as my sister, she ll never be my sister, never was. We may become step siblings but we re never going to be blood related. I love her so much and our parents just don t care. I don t know what to do anymore. Our parents are completely against us and I just don t understand why. What do I do? Please help. Thank you. |

Question: Why am i attracted to older men? Posted: 27 Sep 2015 07:18 AM PDT I'm 15. I've noticed I ong to be with older, more mature guys and often try to catch their attention than the attention of my peers. I have issues with my father. Someone told me I have 'daddy issues'... |
Question: What can I do to make my mom happy again? I made her upset.? Posted: 27 Sep 2015 04:54 AM PDT My mom and I have a good relationship but lately she has this "friend." She is lying to me about him because she says they are just friends but my aunt told me she lied to me... He always says he loves her etc. She went out with him last night and she said she would be home early and I waited all night for her. She came home at 1:00 in the morning. I got a little bit upset because first of all she was a little tipsy and second of all, why wouldn't you call me if you had a few drinks, she only had three but still!!! I kind of got frustrated and I said "bill doesn't care about you if he let you drive home drunk at 1:00 in the morning. You're rediculous!!!" and from there she went on this tangent on how I am selfish, etc. I'm sorry but I don't like her boyfriend. He never includes me in anything, he's always keeping my mom to himself... I get a bad feeling around him, I can't explain. But I don't say anything because my mom is happy... But anyway, my mom is mad at me from what happened yesterday and still isn't talking to me!!! No matter how many times I say i'm sorry, and tell her I love her she just wont listen to me! You can cut the tension in this house with a knife!!! What do I do |
Question: How likely is it that a guy doesn't have a Facebook? Posted: 27 Sep 2015 04:13 AM PDT I recently met a guy who I hit off with immediately but I didn't manage to get any of his details except his first name, which is quite common. I've tried finding him on Facebook through the page of where I met him, friends, etc, but I can't. Usually I can find anyone. So how likely is it that he doesn't have a Facebook? He looks about 19-22 and was really social with everyone he met as far as I could see. |
Question: Guys, would you do this to a girl you liked? Posted: 27 Sep 2015 03:05 AM PDT This guy I am pretty sure may like me was standing behind me and when I turned around, he was staring right at me, into my eyes and did not look away when I caught him, I was the first to look away. By not looking away is he trying to tell me he likes me? |

Question: Is my teacher acting weird towards me? Posted: 26 Sep 2015 11:52 PM PDT My high school teacher has been asking me questions and commenting some strange things. It started with using me as an example in class , asking me if I wanted kids. Then he told us about exploitation saying "your boss would say to Ashley, meet me after work" (to well.... you know...) Then he said the next day when the person who sat next to me( also named Ashley) was absent. "The only Ashley that matters is here." That was strange to me. Later on in the same day I caught him looking me up and down three times, and not discreetly either. Does this seem weird to anyone else? |
Question: How do I keep my personal and work lives separate, socially? Posted: 26 Sep 2015 10:41 PM PDT I have made a couple work friends in the few months I've been at my new job. We've recently started going out together after work, for things like dinner or drinks. One has brought her significant other to such outings twice, and these work friends have asked me multiple times if I could do the same with my girlfriend. It's not that I "don't want" my girlfriend to meet my work friends. It's just that I tend to be a very private person, and I conceptualize work relationships very differently than personal ones. I don't like to even share much of my personal life at work, like showing pictures or social media to coworkers. It's just a can of worms that I wouldn't want to open, not at this time anyway. So I'm wondering how I can best go about politely saying no, without jeopardizing said work relationships as I like my coworkers and the company I work for. I just don't want to come off as distant, standoffish or weird. Any shared experiences or advise would be great, thanks! |
Question: Why am I so emotional lately?..? Posted: 26 Sep 2015 10:01 PM PDT My boyfriend and I were on the phone today and he didn't even say anything wrong, but I broke down into tears. It bothered him a little I think because I've never cried so much especially over nothing and for so long. It lasted 45 minutes or more. The last couple days I've been getting mad at him when he didn't do anything. Afterwards I feel horrible because I don't want to hurt him, but I still keep getting mad over NOTHING. I'm normally a sensitive person but I'm never this bad, its worrying me. I'm 16 if that helps at all.. could someone please tell me why I might be so emotional or how I could stop this??? Btw my boyfriend thinks I may be pregnant but we both know I cant be. Or at least shouldn't be.. |
Question: Is it possible to fall in love after 30 years of not seeing someone? Posted: 26 Sep 2015 08:59 PM PDT At 16 I married a man who was 5 years older than me because I got pregnant. Before him I had a boyfriend in HS. He and I broke up over rumors that he was seen holding hands with a girl who was my school mate. I didn't go back with him and later met the guy I married. He and I have been married for 28 years. It's been 30 years that I haven't seen my ex. No contact at all. Then suddenly after 30 years he came back to my life. We met and talked and are now seeing each other. He's also been married for 20 years. I feel like I'm in love with him. Is that possible? |
Question: My roommate told me I'm taking risks by seeing this new guy? Posted: 26 Sep 2015 08:53 PM PDT I met this guy randomly in a public place who I've been on 3 dates with and he's inviting me to his home state for a weekend. My male roommate is telling me it's weird and he's 90% sure he's a creep and it might be downright dangerous to go anywhere with this guy. What do you think ? |

Question: Is this considered harassment and should I talk to my counselor Monday? Posted: 26 Sep 2015 07:40 PM PDT I was at my school dance tonight(Saturday night) and this kid I've had previous issues with and with him making me feel uncomfortable and he was like following me around the entire dance and when I left to get water, he followed me and sat down next to me. He asked me to slow dance and I had to say no like 4 times before he backed off. And he brought up what happened previously that was uncomfortable for me! So is this harassment and should I go the principal or something on Monday? |

Posted: 26 Sep 2015 07:02 PM PDT Sometimes things can seem straight forward but on the other hand people can have different meanings to things. I would ask the guy what exactly he means but I can't so I am here asking you guys. Okay so while I was talking to this guy he comes out and tells me "part of me wants to come to you and take a walk to remember". What could he mean by that?? |
Question: What does it mean if your feelings for an old flame are stronger after reuniting? Posted: 26 Sep 2015 06:51 PM PDT I say an "old flame" because I can't call him an ex, but he was definitely more than something casual. We dated 10 months in total and despite a lack of closure when things ended, I still remember the rest of our time together fondly. I had moved on from this "flame" when he randomly got back in touch with me 6 months later. He was extremely sincere, honest, and apologetic when he approached me. So I agreed to meet him to hear what he wanted to talk about. I didn't see it as a big deal since I was (and still am) at a place where I can "take him or leave him" and keep my sanity either way. I was surprised when I met with him. Not only does it seem like he may have changed one of his main life priorities, but somehow there seems to be something even stronger between us than before. Of course I had feelings for/was attracted to him before, but I don't recall a time I ever felt THAT vulnerable (and also fearful/exhilarated) in his presence. What does it mean if feelings seem stronger the second time around? This is something I am proceeding with MAJOR caution (and will take VERY slow), but, is this generally bad/concerning or good/promising? I'm cautious because I've had a huge guard up my whole life and know what it's like to get hurt. So I make VERY calculated emotional risks now days. I don't see any major reason to distrust him right now as he has been extremely sincere, open and honest, but he WILL need to earn my trust |
Question: What is your 'careful what you wish for, cause it might come true' story? Posted: 26 Sep 2015 06:48 PM PDT I had this friends with benefits relationship once and this guy made me feel high; I thought he was sooo cool. Needless to say it didn't work out and he decided to date a girl his age. I'm 6 years his senior lol and I was pissed. I wished and schemed of ways he would be with me again. I pretended to be pregnant and he even informed his family(I know it was horrible) but I really wanted him in my life even though he had a gf he was "in love with." They broke up after 3 months and I "ended" my fake pregnancy. Well anyway we barely kept in touch until I reluctantly started dating someone else. Well after a year we broke up too and I thought this new guy was the one I was supposed to marry because it was a formal relationship. I found out I was actually pregnant and that he had no intention of being with me; he indeed started dating someone throughout my entire pregnancy. However, the first guy wanted to now be with me and date me even though he knew the baby was not his. Long story short... I got the guy I wanted in the beginning but certainly not the one that should had stepped up to the plate as a father. And no I didn't want to date him...after all this time I rejected him lol |
Posted: 26 Sep 2015 06:30 PM PDT I m 18, and had a bad relationship from late 14 to early 16. I was raped and physically abused repeatedly, but afraid to tell anybody and afraid to leave him. It was my own fault for staying with him though. I m still really messed up from it, but my mom doesn t seem to care. Me and my mom saw my ex about a year or year and a half ago at his work. We went to the new restaurant in town, and out of every waiter/waitress there, we get him. I asked my mom if we could get someone else or leave or something, just not be around him. She told me I needed to let it go. After everything she knew of that he caused me to go through, that s what she has to say. I just told her okay, and continued like he wasn t there. After how long it s been since she said that, I still think of it really often and it really hurts. I want to forget she said it, I want to forget everything that happened. I ve gone down the wrong path trying to forget, but it seems like I forget most things except for what he did and what my mom said. She still talks about him all the time and tries telling me how he isn t that bad or how she just saw him somewhere the other day. She s even friends with his mom now. They text each other sometimes she said. I don t think I can forget until my mom turns to my side and starts helping me out. I m still in high school and can t afford to leave with only a part time job...but I want anything that reminds me of this to leave. I just don t know how. |

Question: My parents wont stop babying me? Posted: 26 Sep 2015 05:23 PM PDT I have told my parents so many times that I am 18 and am capable and worthy of making my own decisions, but yet they don't stop. They saw my receipt from renting a P.O box and the flipped out and said I don't need it. I said I do need it because you guys open and read my mail, its illegal. Than they yelled at me for having a box cutter. I have one because I work at a grocery store, they said its too dangerous. They are also trying to tell me how many hours I can work. I honestly have no idea what to do. |

Question: I'm starting to hate my body? Posted: 26 Sep 2015 05:07 PM PDT Hey! I'm 18, let's start by saying I used to love my body. I have the curves, the butt, flat stomach, sounds perfect right? But I'm only 100 pounds. I cannot gain weight. I want to, right now I'm excersiging in order to get abs, but I'm way too small. I'm short too, 5'3. Like everyone tells me they want my body, one of my friends told me that she's working out to GET my body. I'm perfectly healthy, thank god! But I really need to gain my confidence back.. I used to hate my face, but now I can stand it. My body makes me cringe I'm so small but I can't control it and yeah I know, "learn to stop hating because you're stuck with that body forever so might as well Love it. I just really look small for my age, my voice is girly too but I get a lot of compliments on it, especially my laugh, but I feel like guys don't approach to me because of my body.. I'm serious I need all the advice I can get and please don't be rude. Thank you :) |

Question: Do you think he remembers? Posted: 26 Sep 2015 03:46 PM PDT This was in 3rd grade so this was a while ago. I had a crush on a boy and he barely noticed me but he was cute to me back then. So one time when we were learning about police and safety and guns, all the 3rd grade classes came to our room so all the desks were put in a line in the back part of the room, and I was sitting in the one closest to the backpack rack thing and he was about 4 seats away from me. I got an itch in my lady bits, and being the nasty **** I am, I stuck my hands in my pants and scratched it. And guess who was watching? My crush. He was mortified. I dont know if he knew what masturbation and though i was masturbating was or he just though it was gross to scratch your **** (it is in public with people watching). I was so embarrassed I honestly wanted to cry. I'm not sure if he remembers, but lets hope he doesnt. *if he knew what masturbation was |
Posted: 26 Sep 2015 03:25 PM PDT My boyfriend is a twin. His sister in law married his brother (the other twin). They have a 1 year old and a baby on the way. We are all in our early 20 s. Every time I hangout with all of them, I notice his sister in law is always paying more attention to my boyfriend than her own husband... It s more than just a "family" kind of way. She s always glancing at him, and trying to do things for him, even though I am more than capable of taking care of my man. I know the 3 of them are close and all but this feeling of mine just keeps getting stronger and stronger the more I pay attention to how she acts and what she says when he s around her. Am I crazy for thinking this? |
Posted: 26 Sep 2015 02:28 PM PDT Then I am wishing to see him or pray to see him I was driving to the street and looking for parking then all of the sudden I saw him walking on the other side of the street. I pulled over then we talked for a little bit.. I don't know if it's fate or destiny. Please in your advice pls |
Question: IS IT RIGHT FOR SON NOT TO WANT TO TALK TO PARENTS EVER AGAIN? Posted: 26 Sep 2015 09:36 AM PDT Say someone is out of a job they are 32 his parents tell him that if he didnt want to work ever again he should have just been molested. Was actually repeated several times. father actually molested son when he was like 5 years old in shower then molested him in front of the mirror and made him stand up in front and watch him. Is it justified that son never wants to talk to mother or father again? |
Posted: 26 Sep 2015 09:07 AM PDT It's a waste of time of me even saying anything anymore. It's like every time i tell them, it appears like it motivates them more. Which is a dam shame. Cause men really are starting to get on my nerves. Why must they be so careless? Idk what to do anymore, even my fiance gets frustrated sometimes putting ppl in their place |
